The Chrysler 300 is based on the rear-wheel-drive Chrysler LX platform with varying components derived from the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and S-Class of the era. Shared and or derived components from Mercedes-Benz included: the rear suspension cradle and 5-link independent rear suspension design derived from E-Class, the 5-Speed Automatic transmission, rear differential, driveshaft, ESP & ABS systems, steering system, cabin electronics, switchgear such as the cruise control and turn signal combination stalk, seat controls, seat frames, wiring harness, and a double-wishbone front suspension design derived from the W220 S-Class.

The SRT8 model is equipped with a 6.1-liter Hemi engine producing 425 hp at 6,200 rpm and 420 lb-ft of torque at 4,800 rpm. The SRT8 can accelerate from 0–60 mph in 4.9 seconds.

SRT Option Group II Package includes, Supplemental Front Seat-Mounted Side Air Bags, Supplemental Side Curtain Front and Rear Air Bags, Cabin Air Filtering System, Automatically-Dimming Rearview Mirror w/Microphone, Instrument Cluster, DVD-Based Navigation System with GPS, MyGIG Multimedia Infotainment System w/ Navigation, UConnect® Hands-Free Communication.

The LED SRT8 Door Sill Kit is Chrysler OEM Part# 82209598 (Rare Option), The Black Ice Grill Part#1099-B104-05, The Corsa Sport Exhaust was over $2000. The front license plate bracket (original never installed) is in the trunk under the floor with the box containing the Original OEM grill. The 2 OEM Center console entertainment headset (never used) is in the Glove Box and the Remote Control is in the upper center console. The Wheel Lock is in the Center Console.
