Gateway classic cars of Detroit is proud to present this 1967 Plymouth Barracuda. The Plymouth Barracuda is a two-door pony car that was manufactured by Plymouth from 1964-1974. This, being a second generation, was offered from 1967-1969. They were based off the Chrysler A-body and still shared a majority of its parts and bodywork with its predecessor, the Plymouth Valiant. Under the hood you will find a 273ci Power Pak v8 engine that is mated to a Torqueflite 3 speed automatic transmission. Finished in white on the exterior, it pairs well with the Navy blue convertible top, with the same color vinyl leather interior. All which are in good shape. Not too many convertibles were made this year, just a little over 4,000 with this option.
The current owner has had this Barracuda for over 40 years! Restored in 1998 with new paint, interior, top and many chassis parts were replaced at that time too. The owner also has many extra parts to go with this car, as he bought a donor car the same year to complete this one.
Options on this Barracuda include: AM/FM/CD radio, Power automatic convertible top, power brakes and radial tires.
Recent parts the owner states that were recently added include: Gas tank, dual exhaust, seats, front suspension, drum brakes, fuel lines and carpet.
If you're looking for a somewhat rare, convertible cruiser, don't pass on this 67 Cuda!
