Gateway classic cars of Detroit is proud to present this 1956 Ford F-100. As you see, this isn't your regular 56 F-100, as it has a bed from a later model Ford Ranger. You get the frame and box from a 1997 Ranger, although it is titled as a 56 F-100. This was also a Detroit Autorama winner of it's class! Under the hood you'll find a 302ci V8 with a polished Edelbrock carburetor and manifold, headers and chrome everywhere! All that is mated to an AOD transmission with a Lokar shifter and is backed with a 3.73 gear. On the exterior you will notice the beautiful Bing Cherry paint with gold metallic, and orange pinstriping that was done more recently. The ride height is lowered thanks to dropped axels in the front and rear with bobbed front fenders, giving it that mean stance. Inside the interior that has been insulated and reupholstered, you're greeted with Power seats from a 93 Suburban, Autometer gauges, and an aftermarket radio. It does have power steering and power brakes for some safe, and reliable driving.
This show winner isn't ready to retire yet! Get your hands on this custom truck, and hit some car shows!
