The TD Midget was introduced in January 1950 and combined the TC's drivetrain, and the MG Y-type chassis to produce the new model. Production ran until 1953 with approximately 30,000 total. This TD is powered by the 1,250 CC 4-cylinder engine with a 4-speed manual transmission. This 1952 TD has a Cream PPG exterior and a Biscuit interior. The main complaint that U.S. owners had with the MG TD sold in the U.S. was the British 12-volt electrical system, which was hard to service when most US cars were still using 6 volt systems. This TD is equipped with a manual convertible top, telescopic wheel, seat belts, spare tire and jack, hub caps and radial tires.
