Vinyl InteriorUp for sale in our Detroit Showroom is this gorgeous 1968 Plymouth GTX! The Plymouth GTX is an automobile introduced as the Belvedere GTX in 1967 by the Plymouth division. It was positioned as a mid-sized upscale-trimmed performance muscle car through the 1971 model year. Chrysler introduced major changes in the design of the 1968 model Plymouth B-bodies and the GTX was given a completely new look. A new hourglass body replaced the previous rectilinear design. The high performance 440 was standard in the GTX as was the TorqueFlite automatic transmission, while it was an extra cost option in the Road Runner. This show winning GTX is raring an ready to go! The engine is a standard 440cid V8 with high-lift cam, Carter AVS 4-barrel carburetor, cast iron headers, and more! Compression is 10.1:1 on that motor. The transmission is the standard, automatic TorqueFlite transmission. The Aqua paint on this car look fantastic and really shines in the sun! The standard vinyl interior still shows excellent as well. Original wheels on the car as well, wrapped in a nice set of Goodyear Eagle ST tires.
