Gateway Classic Cars of Denver is proud to present this 1968 Oldsmobile 442 4-speed convertible. All original, all numbers matching, 90k miles, one of 1518 manual transmission convertibles produced. Rebuilt original 400ci big block (~2k miles since; performance build by Dave Capriotti Racing but looks stock), fresh clutch, 3.91 Positraction (rebuilt), and suspension (rebuilt). Purchased in Boulder in 1994, always stored inside, never driven in wet weather, never rusted or damaged. All original panels and parts (even T3 headlights).

Power top, power steering, Rally gauges with Tic Tock Tach, optional Muncie 4-speed with Hurst shifter and console, underhood light, trunk light, everything works. Close ratio Muncie M-21 4-sp and 3.91 gears— quick car. Optional Super Stock Rally wheels

Deviations from factory build (all original take-off parts are available):

Originally painted the rare Willow Gold Metallic (code G) with GT stripes, it was changed to Provincial White (code C) before I bought it and it now has black Rally stripes (removable). All jams etc are white. Seller wanted to put it back to gold, but the white paint was too good to justify repainting it.

It’s factory suspension has been rebuilt with big Hellwig sway bars, Eibach springs, and tubular and boxed polyurethane control arms (all orig parts avail).

The car originally had manual steering but factory OEM power steering has been installed. (original rack avail) with a original Deluxe steering wheel. The car now has optional factory OEM 15x7 Oldsmobile SSIII Rally wheels powder coated in the correct Argent Silver Gray with giant BFGs in the rear to offset the steep gears.

Currently the car is tuned with an aluminum Edelbrock Performer intake and carb with chrome air cleaner (all original intake and carb parts are available, including OEM red air cleaner with pie tin Rocket lettering, all in great condition).

The car has an AM/FM cassette stereo.
