Traction ControlGateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to present this rare 2013 Chevrolet Corvette. What makes it so rare? This Corvette was fitted with the Callaway SC606 package, of which there are believed to have been less than 100 produced, but numbers were never officially released. Based on a 2013 corvette Grand Sport, Callaway ads a supercharger and some custom tuning to pump out 606 horsepower, hence the name SC606.
While having all that power makes for a very fun drive, the monstrous disc brakes make is a safe one by easily, safely, and reliably bringing this red rocket to a halt. The magnetic suspension is all GM components, allowing the driver to seamlessly switch from "tour" to "sport" and back again with the turn of a dial. The Crystal red Tintcoat paint is accented by a carbon fiber hood bulge to make room for the 2.3l positive displacement blower. This Corvette is definitely not a sleeper!
The interior is black, and Callaway left most of it alone, with the only exception being the seats. the Callaway replacements are a huge step forward in both comfort and control. The door steps were also replaced with Callaway units, and a dash plaque showing the Corvettes VIN number is affixed to the center console. This 2013 Callaway SC606 is a beautiful example of how to improve on an already impressive car.
