Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is very excited to present this blast from the past 1967 Land Rover series 11 A 109 Pick-up Truck. We never see these vehicles anymore. Like just about every postwar all-wheel drive vehicle, the genesis of the original Land Rover is based upon the success of the World War II Jeep and Willys . In the case of the Land Rover, its introduction at the 1948 Amsterdam Auto Show set the standard for decades to come. Land Rover was originally an English brand of 4 wheel drive vehicles with off road capabillities. And this one has been beautifully restored without losing any of its original toughness. This one boasts the tough inline 4 Cylinder engine mated to a 4 speed manual transmission, making off-roading easy.
The exterior is a nicely painted limestone the interior is black and it really shows pride of ownership The wheels and tires really make this one stand out from the rest. When going to the car shows rest assured you will be the only one pulling up with this piece of history.
