Traction ControlGateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to present this 2001 Chevrolet Corvette. Under the hood is the now legendary LS1 V8 displacing 5.7l. A 4L60E transmission sits behind that, and handles the gear changes. The Corvette has been repainted Navy Blue Metallic over a Dove Gray leather interior. Though the odometer shows just under 400 miles, it was replaced, and the latest Carfax entry shows around 160,000 miles. The Odometer was replaced with a 50th anniversary cluster. The Corvette does have a few modifications including: upgraded front brakes, an aftermarket radio, and an intake system. This Corvette would be a great candidate for a "track rat" build. Have no shame in hopping in this blue land missile and melting the rear tires, ripping down the 1/4 mile, hitting apexes on a road course, or kicking the rear end out at a drifting event. This certainly isn't a "low mileage, all original survivor," as some of our inventory is. this Corvette has lived a full life, and is ready for the flogging to commence!
