Gateway Classic Carso of Chicago is proud to present this sleeper 1956 Ford Victoria. The Ford saw a resto-mod conversion in the early 90s to the beast that you see here today. The original engine was yanked in favor of a built 460 cubic inch big block from a Lincoln making some very healthy power. A C6 automatic transmission sends power to the Ford 9" axle housing spinning the rear wheels. though not an "all-out" race built engine, there is plenty of torque to throw you back in your seat at any speed. A stall converter in the 1800-2000 range helps get the powerplant spinning up to speed quickly and makes for a potent launch from a stop very consistently. The paint and interior, though done nearly 30 years ago, look as though it was done less than 5 years ago. Some minor scratches and chips can be found if you look hard enough, but after all, this Ford is a driver. This classic Ford is one heavy foot away from screaming down the quarter mile in less than 12 seconds! Don't miss an opportunity to own both beauty and the beast in one classic package!
