Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to represent this one-family-owned 1973 GMC 1500 Long Bed Pickup Truck! C/K is a series of trucks that was manufactured by General Motors from the 1960 to 2002 model years. Marketed by both the Chevrolet and GMC divisions, the C/K series encompassed a wide range of vehicles. While most commonly associated with pickup trucks, the model line also included chassis-cab trucks and medium-duty trucks and served as the basis for GM full-size SUVs. Through its entire production, the model line competed directly against the Ford F-Series and the Dodge D series! The third-generation C/K was introduced for the 1973 model year. Designated the "Rounded Line" generation by General Motors, the C/K grew in size inside and out.
This particular 1973 example is a one-family-owned example offered by the son of the original owner! Originally powered by 4-Barrel 350ci V8, this truck supposedly now boasts a crate motor replacement backed by a Turbo-400 Automatic Transmission. Many parts have been replaced on this LWB truck including suspension components, glass and seals, A/C and Radio components, exterior trim and chrome, and a newer two-tone black/silver paint job! The interior sets off the exterior finish, and many parts have been replaced in the Blue Vinyl interior. If you're in the market for a well taken care of, 3rd Generation C10, this 1973 example would make a great driver! To see more HD pictures and video please visit GatewayClassicCars.com.
