Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this 1972 Dodge Dart. The Dart had a long production run from 1960-1976. This fourth generation Dart ran from 1967-1976. Sold in many variations including two-door, four-door, and convertible models. Engine options ran from a slant-6 to V-8 Hemi. By 1973 the Dart had been restyled with a revised front end and upgraded rear taillights. The 1970's Dodge Dart has long been a favorite muscle car with Mopar enthusiasts. A 318 Cubic Inch V8 backed by a 727 Torqueflight Transmission. This Mopar is painted in green with a dark green vinyl interior and a black vinyl top. Changes for 1972 included a revised grille without the central divider of the 1970 and 1971 items, new surface-mounted sidemarker lights rather than the previous flush-mount units, the instrument cluster was now shared with the Valiant and featured a large, rectangular speedometer and several, small, round gauges; the AM/FM-radio option returned. Options on this 1972 Dodge Dart include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, American Racing Wheels, and Seat Belts.
