Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 1,587 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is ecstatic to offer this 1934 Ford 3-window Coupe. No expense was spared in the production of this modernized, builder-owned hot rod. Lovingly assembled and maintained, every receipt for this 3-window build was saved and documented during the process, guaranteeing the car’s value for years to come. This ’34 is rocking a powdercoated Pete & Jake’s chassis, pinched in the front, and bobbed in the rear to give this custom a truly sinister stance. A Redneck Street Rods ’34 fiberglass body sits upon the frame with a professional 5” channeling and a 2 5/8” chop. Redneck produces the finest bodies in the street rodding business, and is the go-to body for builders across the globe due to its superior manufacturing. The coupe is finished in DuPont Black Pearl with several coats of DuPont clear. Upon further inspection, you will find a very subtle Blue Pearl, Orange Pearl and Red Pearl ghost flame striking down the front of the hood. In respect to drivability, the coupe has been outfitted with Aldan coilovers on all four corners, Wilwood brakes, and a Currie Ford 9” rear end. 1936 Ford Hot Rod

1936 Ford Hot Rod

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 274 ( undocumented )

It’s not everyday that Gateway Classic Cars is given the pleasure to offer a vehicle that was built, documented, and owned by the same individual. What you see here is fantastic mix of 50’s east coast, patina rod, and rat rod stylings that took over 3 years to complete. This 1936 Ford Pickup is the final build of a man’s 45 year legacy of constructing custom rods. The build began with a fully customized frame. The rear is “Z’ed” approximately 10” to make way for a truly sinister stance. Unlike other rat rods, the ’36 Ford truck cab was lovingly restored, channeled 4”, and all cancerous rust was removed and replaced with new metal before being finished in Flat Black. The powertrain boasts an ever-popular and rebuilt/resealed 300 hp Chevy 350 small block pushing 9:1 compression which calls for 87 octane fuel. Lake-style headers provide the driver with an aggressive exhaust note. Behind the mildly-cammed Chevy 350 sits a TH350 3 speed automatic transmission with shift kit, custom driveshaft, and Ford 9” posi rear end with coilovers. The front suspension has been donned with manual rack and pinion steering, period-correct drop axle, and leaf spring. Manual disc brakes from an Impala with new stainless steel lines are utilized up front, while the rear is capped with drums. All gauges are in working order. The 14 gallon fuel cell will provide this build with a longer journey capacity than most custom rods. The car is correctly titled as a 1936 Ford, which can sometimes prove difficult depending on which state you seek approval, and the VIN is stamped both in the frame and firewall. Simply put, you can NOT put a custom rod like this together for even twice the modest sticker price. This ’36 Ford would be a fantastic initiation for anyone interested in entering the world of custom rodding, and all of the difficult work has been performed by a veteran and professional of the automotive business. This car makes such a great sound! There's nothing like a well built high performance Flathead. Power is sent through a 3 speed manual mounted on the column. Both the engine and transmission have roughly 1,000 miles since the rebuild and offer issue free enjoyment. The engine was professionally built at Flatland Flatheads out of Oklahoma City. 1940 Ford Deluxe Flower Car

1940 Ford Deluxe Flower Car

Engine: Flat Head
Transmission: 3-Speed Manual
Mileage: 21,896 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is excited to offer this very unique 1940 Ford Super Deluxe Flower Car once again. If you're scratching your head thinking "I've never seen one of those before!" It's probably because you most likely have not. This 1940 Ford Deluxe was produced by the Ford Motor Company and then converted by The Eureka Manufacturing Company of Rock Falls Illinois into a flower car. Essentially starting out as a 5-window coupe, the conversion lengthened the chassis and the convertible rear casket compartment was created with metal rollers and pins to store the side rails that would hold flowers in place. This car had a dual use of being enclosed with the original canvas cover for the less elaborate funerals and having the rear compartment cover removed and side rails installed for a more elaborate send off. Flower cars were popular during the middle of the century and now are rarely seen in modern funerals. While most if not all of these conversions done by Eureka were on General Motors vehicles this one being a Ford and not a Packard or Cadillac makes this highly obscure and is believed to be the only one ever made. This car was purchased new in 1940 and check out the original photos of the car being delivered. Now fast forward 78 years and you will notice that not much has really changed. This is an original, unmolested, unrestored car that still retains the original paint, original canvas cover, original interior and powertrain. Now is your chance to own something that nobody else has and enter the world of Professional Car Collectors. Surely this will be the only one at whatever show you attend and thanks to years of maintenance and recent service work performed this car is ready for the road and will cruise at highway speeds. New parts include brake shoes, wheel and master cylinders, brake hoses, rear axle seals, new points set, fuel tank, fuel pump and carburetor overhaul. Located in our Chicago showroom, this 1940 Ford Deluxe Flower Car can be seen including an HD video and pictures at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1946 Ford Super Deluxe

1946 Ford Super Deluxe

Engine: 221 CID V8
Transmission: 3-speed Manual
Mileage: 31,020 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this classic 1946 Ford Super Deluxe. The ’46 is a smooth body style with, at the time, a powerful V8. The flat head V8s have gained quite a following recently, and restorers hunt for them to use in the classics. While not known for being a powerhouse, they give a smooth power band with plenty of torque. This coupe is sporting one such example. Powered by a 221 cubic inch modified flat head V8 matched with a 3-speed column-shifted manual transmission, this is an authentic driver. The V8 produced near 60 horsepower when new, but thanks to some Offenhauser heads, an upgraded Comp camshaft, and a few other improvements, power has been bumped up to an estimated 75 horsepower. These upgrades and power boost make cruising with more modern cars easier. Fresh red paint has been laid over the original sheet metal giving a like-new appearance. A larger clutch has been installed giving better gripping power, as well as longer life expectancy, making for a more robust and reliable drive train. This slightly modified antique makes for a great cruiser and is sure to get you smiling. Inside the car you'll find classic bench seats and the original dash to take you back in time. Options include: AM Radio, Hub Caps, and White Wall Tires. For more information on this ’46 Ford Super Deluxe, contact our Chicago showroom at (708) 444-4488 or Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com. 1957 Ford Thunderbird

1957 Ford Thunderbird

Engine: 312 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 7,662 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this beautiful "Blue Dream" 1957 Ford Thunderbird. With a nice Azure Blue paint laid over the body and removable hard top of this classic, one can’t help but be drawn back to a simpler time. Elvis was the most controversial musician, 12 Angry Men was in theaters with Old Yeller, and the cost of a gallon of gas was a whopping twenty-four cents. The 312 cubic inch V8 cradled snugly under hood was the top of the line engine offered, and did a fine job of making this sporty roadster scoot all over town. Backing up the Thunderbirds V8 is a healthy 2-speed automatic that shifts as smooth as when it was new. While the cool blue covering this ’57 T-bird isn’t the original color, it is very fitting on this classic Ford. The slick two-tone “Dresden Blue” interior matches very well, and adds to the very classic look on this beautiful ‘bird. This feisty Ford was treated to some serious restoration work around 2006, including the fresh paint, a brake overhaul, suspension work, a new gas tank, starter, motor mounts, wiring harnesses, the list goes on and on! 1957 Chevrolet 210

1957 Chevrolet 210

Engine: 462 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 563 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this freshly built 1957 Chevrolet 210. This car was born with a fuel efficient 6-cylinder engine, which had enough pep for a casual cruise, but that was about it. The seller took this car off the deep end of the power pool by stuffing a fuel injected 454 big block Chevrolet under the hood giving this classic cruiser a whole lot more grunt. The rest of the car received similar treatment by getting a 700R4 overdrive automatic transmission and a Ford 9-inch rear axle all set up to handle all that power from the motor to the rear wheels. A custom front cross-member was put installed to accommodate a rack and pinion front steering assembly, and tubular front control arms were installed to cut down on un-sprung weight and add strength to the front end of the car. The interior has been completely gone through as well, with an extremely soft synthetic leather material applied over the seats, color matched dashboard, center-mounted power window switches, a high-end custom sound system, and several other goodies making the inside as comfortable to be in as the outside is to look at. Upgrading the function of the car is only half the picture. The entire body of the vehicle went through a complete transformation to bring it to the next level and match its new performance capabilities. A layer of Dark Metallic Blue pulled from the Mazda palette has been professionally applied over this solid body, helping it follow the higher modeled American icon, the Bel Air. This truly is the best of both worlds; the looks and styling of a timeless classic with all of the modern pleasantries of today. Options include: AM/FM/CD player, Lumbar Support, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Seats, Power Windows, Telescopic Wheel, Tilt Wheel, Traction Control, Seat Belts, Synthetic Leather Interior, and Racing Wheels. 1962 Chevrolet Impala

1962 Chevrolet Impala

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 42,440 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this show-worthy 1962 Chevrolet Impala. The Chevrolet Impala has always been a staple in American automotive history, and this classic cruiser lives up to the hype! With a strong 350 cubic inch small block Chevy V8 partnered up with a smooth 3-speed automatic, this Impala is as reliable as it is fun! Built to be a “Street/Strip” car, any extra weight savings helps, as does any reduction in engine drag, so power steering is not present, neither are power brakes. With roughly 50 pounds save off the nose end of the Impala by not adding those items, this full-size coupe feels as agile and nimble as a much smaller ride. A fresh coat of Ruby Red enamel paint sparkles like the gem it’s named after. One would be hard pressed to believe that the paint is really from 2008! The Impala has been in the family for roughly 13 years, and has been meticulously cared for during that time. Plenty of care went into not only selecting just the right colors, engine parts, and interior, but also in keeping the restoration looking fresh for as long as possible. With mostly original metal (the trunk pan needed to be replaced), the lines are as straight as GM made them. Having been owned by a firefighter during the restoration, there are a handful of fire suppressors keeping you safe, in the event of the worst. Strap into these race-inspired seats, buckle the 4-point harness, and have a great time! Options include: Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and Racing Wheels. For more information on this Ruby Beauty, contact our Chicago showroom at (708) 444-4488 or Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com. 1964 Ford Galaxie

1964 Ford Galaxie

Engine: 390 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 583 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this stylish 1964 Ford Galaxie. Being an “X” code, this Galaxie originally had a 352, and now sports a 390 cubic inch V8 backed up to a 3-speed automatic transmission, and this baby is meant to cruise! While the desire for most has always been to get a coupe, sedans are picking up in popularity. This Galaxie, being the hardtop, has the best of both worlds. 4-doors means easy access for friends and family to hop in the back, but it has the slick roofline of a coupe with no B-pillars, making the lines fit the car much cleaner. Much of this car is what one may call a “survivor,” being that it is in unrestored, original condition. The interior, paint, engine, and transmission are all exactly as Ford had built them in 1964! Having been kept in the same family since new (two registered owners) this car has always been taken care of, and has plenty of life left in it to live! Spin the Ford big block V8 and listen to it purr, ready to cruise at a moments notice! The current owner has been in possession of it for roughly the last 10 years taking the best possible care of it to insure that someday it could be passed on to its next caretaker in great shape and ready to build new memories. This clean, classic, sporty 1964 Ford Galaxie is ready to become part of the family with you. Options include: Air-Conditioning, AM Radio, Hub Caps, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Wide White Walls. 1965 AC Cobra Replica

Engine: 427 CID V8
Transmission: 5-Speed Manual
Mileage: 4,157 ( actual )

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this awe-inspiring 1965 Shelby Cobra replica. Built on a Backdraft Racing body and frame, this Pearl Orange beauty is an absolute dream. The Pearl White stripes gleam in the sun and tie into the tan interior making this iconic body a real sight to be seen. Powering this classic racecar is a 427 cubic inch small block Ford V8 paired to a Tremec TKO-600 5-speed manual transmission. The Tremec is known to be a very stout performing transmission, and it is more than capable of handling the 535 horsepower this stout powerplant pumps out. The low-slung bodylines are sure to get your pulse moving, but fire up this beast and you’ll really get your heart racing. The knock-off wheels keep the styling true to the original Cobra roadster, while the larger diameter brings the handling into the modern times. Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 81,710 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this Unique and very hard to find, near factory original 2 door 1966 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupe Fastback in its original color Metallic Marine Blue. He owner of this car has painstakingly detailed this car almost daily since he has owned it. This is a fine example of an original condition car. A few things have been changed like the new power disc brakes up front and the radio appears original but has an MP3 input to play from modern music storage devices. The A/c Unit on this car is stock original and came with the car, it also keeps the inside very cool during the summer months. To get the most out of the stock 327 small block power plant, the intake manifold was replaced with a modern Edelbrock manifold, also matched to a highly recommended Carter AFB performance carburetor and a GM HEI Distributor. A few other upgrades include a New Starter, new water pump and exhaust pipes. Owner claims that all the numbers match, engine, trans rear end, ect. The Transmission is freshly rebuilt with under 1000 miles since the work has all been done. Owner still has most all the original parts that can go with the car when it is sold. This car drives down the road smooth and straight and fast too! Stepping into the interior the first thing you notice is how clean it all is and that it’s not redone, it’s the original interior! Its just that clean it gleams!! No rips or tears or excessive wear! WOW! this is a rare find in this condition. Brand new tires mounted to factory Rallye wheels give this car a hot stock rod look! The vehicle is originally from the west coast and has served it 3 owners well over the last 53 years! Some of the options included on this original blast from the 1960’s is original Cloth/vinyl Interior, Factory Air Conditioning, AM/FM/MP3 Stereo, power brakes, power steering, Posi rear end and much more. 1967 Plymouth Belvedere

1967 Plymouth Belvedere

Engine: 440 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 0 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this very nice 1967 Plymouth Belvedere. Merriam-Webster defines ‘Belvedere’ as “A structure designed to command a view”. This old school 2-door is not only a beautiful sight to behold, but it’s also packed chock full of horsepower with a very healthy, ground-thumping 440 cubic-inch Chrysler big block V8. The Comp Cams .509/.509 lift and 247/254 duration cam gives it an unforgettable heartbeat that gets your adrenaline going almost as fast as the car. A 3-speed automatic 727 Torqueflite transmission equipped with a 2,800-rpm stall convertor gives a good launch and delivers the raw power to the rear axle with ease. The rear end contains a 4.11 gear ratio to complete the perfect trio for proper acceleration. Polar White paint covers the exterior of this car, standing up to the definition of its name, Belvedere, better than expected. This car may sound hot, but aesthetically it truly is cooler than cool, it’s ice cold! Try to avoid frost bite as you reach for the door handle. Open the door up and be welcomed to a fantastic black vinyl interior in excellent condition. The nicely kept cabin provides a smooth old-school look and feel that really brings you back to 1967. A modern radio brings a high-quality sound to an already great sounding car, but why anybody would want to listen to today’s drama over the deep rumble of this beastly engine is beyond me. This classic Mopar is the kind of car that you can race to the grocery store, or cruise to the drag strip. Options include: Aluminum/Alloy Wheels, AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, and Vinyl Interior.
