Debuting all the way back in 1967, Pontiac unveiled the Firebird, a competent pony car, brother to the Camaro and fellow competitor to the well-known and mighty Ford Mustang. The Firebird would see many changes over the years, but one thing is for certain, they all looked good. The Firebird would see 4 generations that would span 35 years. For Formulas and Trans Am's in '96, functional dual inlet 'Ram Air' hoods returned as part of the WS6 performance package, as well as upgraded shocks & suspension springs and bushings, larger roll-bars, 17' wheels and the dual oval exhaust tips. This T/A is powered by a healthy 5. 7-liter V8 linked to a Tremec T56 6-speed manual transmission with a new Competition clutch, limited-slip differential and WS6 Ram Air Performance and Handling Package. The car is finished in Bright Red and features removable glass roof panels.
