Engine: 350 CID V8Transmission: 4 Speed ManualMileage: 98,215 ( actual )
Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to present this “Sweet” 1981 Chevrolet El Camino. What is it? A car? A truck? A car-truck? It’s none of the above. It’s Chevrolet’s ICONIC El Camino and if you want to get technical, it is a coupe utility. The El Camino was based on a two-door station wagon and although it was based on a car line, it’s titled and classified as a truck. What you see here is not the average 1981 El Camino. The fifth generation “Elky’s” were known to have rust issues, which makes a solid body basic El Camino highly sought after. This El Camino not only has a solid body, it received a frame-on restoration in 1997 and has been pampered, spoiled, and garaged kept ever since. This is not your typical paint-over-the-original-paint rush job. Before the GM “HOT ROD RED” paint was applied to the entire body, it was bead blasted. This process ensured that all the previous paint was removed, leaving a bare metal surface as the starting foundation. Twenty-one years later the color still shines brightly, shows well, and proves it was both money and time well spent. The restoration continues with a new 350 4 bolt main 350 horsepower crate engine installed along with a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission out of a 1966 Corvette. That means this 1981 El Camino is “Show and Go.” If that is not enough excitement, all this power is transferred to a Positrack Rearend, housing 3:73 gears. Oh yeah…mash that pedal to the metal and watch this El Camino go quickly from mild to wild. To ensure the horsepower was put to the pavement, the entire suspension was upgraded. The exterior and drivetrain could not be restored without touching the interior. Inside, you will find 1987 Buick Grand National Bucket Seats redone in Chestnut Suede and Tweed. The chestnut brown color compliments the exterior while keeping it unique, classy, and simple. You will also find new carpet and a three-gauge cluster displaying water temp, oil pressure, volts. Options include AM/FM Radio, CD Player, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Windows, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior, Raised White Lettered Tires, Rally Wheels, Cowl Induction Hood, and Posi Traction. This 1981 Chevrolet El Camino is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Engine: 8.0L V10 FTransmission: 6 Speed ManuelMileage: 101,596 ( undocumented )
We invite you to take a close look at this 1994 Dodge Viper. Everyone knows that the Viper was always a Hot Car. This one still has plenty of life left with 101596 original miles. Regular maintenance has kept the V 10 engine running smooth and the 6 speed transmission goes thru the gears the way it should. The car has been modified with an aftermarket intake and performance exhaust. There is no doubt that this car means business. You will find yourself planted firmly in the seat as you accelerate down the highway. There is a reason why so many Vipers are red. They look great in RED! The interior is finished in Tan Leather and is in very good condition. With the roof on and the windows in place this car is fun to drive. Take the roof off and it becomes an open air race car. The thing about Vipers is the amazing amount of torque that is produced by the monster V10. They are known for their performance and race car like characteristics. Engine: 383 StrokerTransmission: 350 AutomaticMileage: 25,703 ( undocumented )
Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to present this 1929 Ford Coupe. Do you want to be ordinary or extraordinary? If your answer is extraordinary, then you have chosen the right “Hot Rod.” When you think of a “Hot Rod” or “Muscle Car”, the first cars that come to mind are Camaro’s, Mustang’s, Cuda’s, etc. This is none of the above and yet, it’s still one super cool “Hot Rod.” It is a tie for first place when it comes to what catches your attention initially, but one thing is for certain and two things are for sure, your answer will either be the bright yellow paint, or the sound of the mean 383 stroker motor. Whichever one you choose, you won’t be wrong. The yellow paint is bright enough to make you feel like your looking at the sun, which is offset by a beautiful strategically placed flat back hood and black capped roof. The real show stopper of the exterior is the exposed chromed-out engine displaying chrome long tube headers. Just when you thought you thought you had the color combination figured out, another twist appears. Take a look inside and you will find burgundy bucket seats. Talk about extraordinary! Don’t worry about being squished in this coupe either, there’s plenty of room to fit four comfortably. Three’s company, four is a crowd, so load up your friends and family and enjoy cruising this “Sweet” ride. The 350 turbo automatic transmission will allow you to keep a hand free at all times to wave at the onlookers as they acknowledge your ‘29 Ford Coupe. Options include AM/FM Radio, Hub Caps, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, and Radial Tires. It’s nice to be part of the in-crowd, but it is even better when you are the cause of the crowd. This 1929 Ford Coupe is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information, please call our knowledgeable staff at (813)645-6200 or email us at Tampa@GatewayClassicCars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this awesome 1957 Chrysler 300C convertible. Only 484 Convertible 300C Chryslers were made in 1957 and it is said that less than 50 are all that's left in running order! Sporting dual four barrel carburetors with NASCAR inspired dual air filters, this badboy was rated at 375 horsepower and 420 lbs of torque that topped out at 145+ miles per hour in the “Two Way Flying Mile.” The Chrysler 300 "letter series" were high-performance luxury cars built in very limited numbers by the Chrysler Corporation in the U.S. from 1955–1965. Each year's model used a new letter of the alphabet as a suffix (skipping "i"), reaching 300L by 1965, after which the model was dropped. 1957 was the first year a convertible was offered in the 300 series and was the pinnacle of performance and luxury. The Hemi head engine was backed by a 3 speed Torqueflite A488 automatic transmission which is great for cruising speeds, and really set the interior apart with its push button operation. Unlike later Chryslers, the 300C was built using body-on-frame construction; that would last through 1959. The 300C was based on the Chrysler New Yorker, with many changes that was more than just options and appearance. The height was just 54.7 inches; new dual headlights provided a claimed 75 feet more night vision. New 14-inch wheels were used. The 300C had a low stance, unique grille, large windshield, front door vent windows, brake cooling ducts, and a red, white, and blue emblem with the 300C logo on the quarter panel. Twin backup lights were perched above large tail lamps. Tail fins - or rear stabilizers, as Chrysler called them - reportedly increased stability at high speeds, resulting in 20% fewer steering corrections in cross-winds. This example maintains a classy look with White exterior and Tan interior with White top. With just 73,564 actual miles (verified on the title), this car would make a great addition to any collection. Options include: AM radio, convertible top, white wall tires, hub caps, bias ply tires, leather interior, power steering, power windows, and power seats (needs switch). Don't wait any longer for this extremely collectible car! Located in our Tampa Showroom, this 1957 Chrysler 300C for sale can be seen in greater detail including HD pictures and video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com, or call 813-645-6200 for additional information.

For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is a 1980 Mercedes-Benz 450SL. The SL name has always signified a certain level of quality and sophistication and the R107 model would be no exception. Introduced in 1972 year as a replacement for the W113 series, the 107 would make an unprecedented model run all the way through ‘89. For me, these cars bring back very fond memories of my grandfather teaching me to drive around the neighborhood in his 380SL when I was a child, which speaks volumes for the ease at which these cars can be piloted. This ‘80 is a great example of an original well preserved 450SL. The exterior is finished in the classic Mercedes Silver with blue leather interior. With the front engine rear wheel drive design handling characteristics are not quite what you would expect. The ride is plush yet stiff with the just the right amount road feel making it an absolute pleasure to drive. The interior door panels are in great condition and definitely remind you that you are in a high end luxury car. With the late 70's and early 80's German cars being one of the hottest commodities in the collector car market this beauty is sure to find a new home quickly. There were only 66,298 450SL Roadsters built spanning from 1971-1980, 1980 being the 2nd lowest production year with only 5,583 produced. What better cruiser than a slammed 1962 Biscayne wagon!? This wild custom is well built and guaranteed to turn heads whenever it leaves the garage. When the Biscayne came out way back in 1958, it was built to be an affordable family vehicle that would get you from point A to point B. The year this one rolled off the assembly line however was the very first year that Chevrolet brought out the Biscayne wagon. Made with the family man in mind, nothing back in 1962 gave anyone the impression that this would ever be anything more than just that. This is not your everyday Biscayne wagon though. It has had air ride suspension put underneath it to lay it on the ground and, while at cruising height, provide a more comfortable ride. The pearlescent white paint job on it stands out among the crowd and the flames really set the whole look. Moving into the interior, the reupholstered red interior is very comfortable and has a lot of the classic style that you would expect in a 60’s car. The steering wheel screams sixties with heavy flake and looks like it was stolen off of an old bass boat. Sticking through the transmission tunnel is a Hurst shifter that is attached to the manual four speed and is hooked up behind a 350 cubic inch V8. This car was built to be shown, cruised, and thoroughly enjoyed; if you are looking for a car that you can jump in with your buddies and go to shows and the local cruise night there may not be a better choice than this radical 1962 Biscayne! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1962 Chevrolet Biscayne in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Engine: 390 CID V8Transmission: 3-Speed AutomaticMileage: 2,000 ( since rebuilt )
Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is proud to offer this gorgeous metallic ruby 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 for sale. Bathed in a lustrous, glowing House of Kolors red that seems to change colors from every angle, it literally looks like a metallic ruby when viewed in the sunlight. The exterior chrome trim around the windows is in excellent shape, and the rest of the chrome trim looks good, too. Open the hood, and you'll note that the engine bay is finished in the same red and is loaded with chrome. From the hood hinges, to the radiator reservoir, alternator, power brake booster and master cylinder, valve covers and air cleaner, this baby sparkles. The big 390 CID V8 lurks menacingly in its lair - fitted with coated Hedman headers and topped with an aluminum Edelbrock manifold and Edelbrock 4BBL carb, you know this is no mild grocery getter's mill. With only about 2000 miles on the engine since it was rebuilt, it's barely broken in. Backed by a Ford 3-speed automatic that sends the power to the 3.05:1 gearset in the Ford 9-inch rear, this is one sturdy and potent drivetrain. A massive aluminum radiator with twin electric pusher fans (aided by the factory fan) helps keep the big block cool while you're motoring around town. Moving to the inside, you'll notice the Vintage Ford-logoed AC, and some cool custom touches, like custom Mother of Pearl steering wheel and the Oyster shell-topped switchgear on the dash and radio's control knobs. A Sunpro gauge pack helps the driver monitor the powertrain's vitals, with the rest of the factory gauges intact, as well. The sweet champagne beige and oyster-colored synthetic leather seating is in great shape, and the carpet looks brand new. Settle into the driver's seat, fire it up, and listen to the baritone burble of the big 390 as it settles into a lopey idle, sending its exhaust out the big dual exhaust, its DynoMax mufflers both quieting and enhancing the muscle car sound. Pull the gear lever into drive and rumble off to your next horizon. If, during your motoring escapade you should choose to see what this baby will do, the power brakes have the added benefit of discs up front, complete with drilled rotors; so stopping happens much more quickly than it ever could've with the original brake setup. The aluminum American Racing 5-spoke wheels provide additional good looks, and better airflow to the brakes, too. Additional options on this 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 for sale include Air Conditioning, Aluminum Alloy wheels, AM Radio, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Synthetic Leather seating. For more information on this 1963 Ford Galaxie 500, please call the Houston showroom at (832) 243-6220; or email us at "Houston@GatewayClassicCars.com". Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is excited to offer this highly modified 1970 Chevrolet Camaro. In 1967 we saw the introduction of the Camaro, Chevy’s answer to the Ford Mustang. Just three years into production Chevrolet brought us a total redesign of the car, ushering in the infamous split bumper design. The car on offer is far from what it was when it came from the factory. This is a purpose built road/track car. Underneath this eye popping Orange exterior you’ll find a multitude of performance upgrades since it was built in south Georgia around 8 years ago. Powering this beast is a built 406 Small Block Chevy engine mated to a T56 6-Speed Transmission. Performance modifications include AFR Cylinder heads, Comp Cams Xtreme Energy Cam, Edelbrock Air gap intake, Demon 625 carburetor, and Professional Products Harmonic balancer. Making sure the transmission can handle all the added power a Mcleod billet Flywheel and hydraulic clutch were added; the transmission then connects to the custom Aluminum driveshaft sending power to the Strange Ford 9” with 4.11 gears. Helping the car make tight corners are BMR upper and lower front control arms, BMR rear torque arm and AFCO remote reservoir double adjustable shocks. The carbon fiber hood and deck lid from Anvil Auto make for an aggressive look contrasting against the bright Orange exterior. Adding to its menacing look are the staggered Black Formula 43 RAD S5 wheels measuring 18x9 upfront and 18x12 in the back. Inside the car you’ll find an original styled interior with custom tan leather bucket seats and a 4 point roll cage. You can listen to the radio cruising down the highway or roll down the windows to hear the roar of the Magnaflow exhaust as you blast around the racetrack. If you are looking for a unique car that you can drive to the track, set some nice lap times and drive home, then look no further.
