For sale in our Nashville showroom is a time capsule, 1968 Pontiac GTO. Still bearing the stickers from its past life as a S/S Super Stock class trophy winner. Hiding in storage for over 33 years, it was recovered in 2009 with a low 46,000 miles. Rebuilt to its former glory, it's simply a sight to see! With a best time of 11.857 and 113.87 MPH at the Mason Dixon Dragway, this built GTO is one fun driver! Powering this '68 GTO for sale is a 430 cubic inch stroker V8 engine. Starting with a 400 block, this GTO was built with plenty of go-fast goodies, such as: Eagle forged stroker crankshaft, .040 over Joe Gibbs pistons and rings, Comp Cams CL11-604 Thumper camshaft, double-row timing chain, Holley 850CFM carburetor, and MSD ignition. This 1968 Pontiac for sale puts down an impressive 520 hp at 5,500 RPM and a tire melting 465 lb./ft. of torque at a low 3900 RPM. Peak torque was recorded at a butt clenching 513 ft/lb of torque! Backing the mighty Poncho engine is a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission with Hurst dual-gate shifter. Throwing the power to the ground is a 3.55 geared safety trac rear end. This makes for a great mix of a cruiser and bruiser gear. The Exterior is cool shade of metallic blue. When paired with the white vinyl top and redline radial tires, you have yourself one nostalgic ride! The interior is just as vintage, with white vinyl sport buckets up front and a bench out back. With plenty of room for you and your friends, this GTO for sale just begs to be brought out on Friday night cruises! Options on this 1968 Pontiac GTO, include: A/C (Disconnected), AM radio, power brakes, power steering, vinyl interior, and rally wheels wrapped in redline radial tires. Now's your chance to get yourself into one cool piece of history. A time capsule in its own right, this '68 GTO for sale is a real throwback and ready to make more memories.
