The 1934 Ford Model 40 gained notoriety as the vehicle stolen on May 23, 1934 by Depression-era bandits Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, who were later ambushed by law enforcement officials. The famous Ford flathead V-8 debuted in 1932 and had its output increased to 85hp in 1934. Noted styling updated in 1934 included a flatter grille and straight hood levers with two handles on each side of the hood. This gorgeous vehicle has all the vintage character with the added boost of a 1951 Ford flathead producing an estimated 200 horsepower! What a classic color combination! Medium Cabernet Red with a supple Cream leather interior that follows the same stitching as the original mohair. This historic vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom.
