Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a stunning 1939 Plymouth Road King P-8 street rod. This award winning street rod has been beautifully assembled with help from some of the best in the business. This all steel '39 has been professionally stripped and prepped for one of the nicest black paintjobs you will find. The body modifications are subtle, such as removing side vents, bumpers and mounts removed, and the addition of a custom rear roll pan which houses the single exhaust outlet. The body style is so beautiful, there is no need to chop or channel, by simply smoothing and simplifying, a custom looking body is the result. This sedan sits on its original chassis that has been modified to accommodate a Mustang II front suspension and air ride and has been powder coated for durability. The Mustang II setup is from Lakeshore Fabrication which features air ride, Heidts 2" drop spindles, and Unisteer steering. The brakes are supplied by Wilwood and are drilled and slotted disc in all four corners. The rear suspension features a 4 bar setup with air ride. The rear end is a 9" Ford with a 3.26 final drive ratio and limited slip. The Plymouth sits on one off Foose wheels, 18" in front and 20" in the rear wrapped in Nitto tires. Under the hood is a hot LS2 GM crate engine. These LS engines have become the go-to for street rodders looking for a powerful and reliable drive train. The LS2 is mostly stock but does have a custom made air intake which utilizes a classic style air cleaner from a '56 Buick Nailhead. To stay true to the car, custom valve covers have been made as well to sport the "Plymouth" name. The LS2 breathes through Sanderson headers and dual exhaust that exits through a center outlet. The transmission is a 4L80-E automatic with overdrive. The interior is very tastefully done with saddle leather throughout. Wood grain on the dash and window surrounds give a classy look as well as the original steering wheel. Modern comforts like power seat and air conditioning are nicely integrated so they don't look out of place. To quench your thirst during those summer month car shows, the center console doubles as a drink cooler which drains to the outside. The air compressor and battery are nicely hidden behind a panel in the beautifully finished trunk. The entire interior features square weave carpet which adds to the classy look. Overall class and refinement has been kept in mind when building this street rod. There's no flames, or TV screens, or gaudy colors. The Plymouth still has the spirit of the original car, with the comfort, and performance of a modern car. Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer a 1947 Plymouth Special De Luxe Convertible. When Plymouth introduced the De Luxe and Special De luxe series to the market in 1946, they were a huge hit and often came with long waiting lists for those who wanted a brand new one. Buying one from someone else, often came with a premium charge in order to skip the waiting list. The Convertibles only came in the high end Special De Luxe trim level. This particular example puts a extreme emphasis on the word Special in Special De Luxe. Offered in a stunning Viper Red paint accented by the tan top and glisten chrome, this car is a show stopper! When the car was being restored, the owner spared no expense and even had every panel on the car acid dipped. Besides the paint and LED head lights, you’d never know just how custom this classic is. Inside the cabin you’re greeted with a beautiful custom tan vinyl interior helping to make this a comfortable cruiser. The vacuum powered top has been converted to simpler and more reliable electric unit. Put the key fob in the insert on the dash and press the push button start to hear the glorious roar of the surprise waiting for you under the hood. Powered by a modern fuel injected 5.7L Hemi V8 engine that is mounted to a modern Dodge transmission, this Classic Plymouth comes with both the comfort of driving on modern highways and the Mopar performance to have some real fun! In the rear you’ll find a Ford 9” rear end to handle the added power with 3.50 Posi gears. Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1947 Plymouth Special De luxe. The Plymouth De Luxe was produced from 1946 to 1950, with the top trim line being the Special De Luxe model. The first post war Plymouth Deluxe rolled off the assembly line on October 22, 1945, at the dealership people arrived in droves to get their name on the list for a brand new car. Plymouth literature claimed there were 50 updates on their post-war model that improved upon the pre-war model. For the 1946-48 model years the 3.6L Inline Six was boosted to 95hp. This engine was produced from the 1920’s to the 1970’s, proving that if it isn’t broke you shouldn’t fix it this long lived engine became a Legendary motor. Plymouth’s tag line during this post-war era was “Outside and in, it’s a completely new Plymouth. Compare it feature for feature. Sit in it. Ride in it. Drive it. Then you’ll surely agree.” This car cruises down the road with the best of them, and represents an era for Chrysler where they put function before style. Reliability and function were on the forefront of design, Chrysler President wanted a consumer to be able to sit bolt-upright wearing a hat comfortably while he drove down the road. The Plymouth is a perfect example of 1940’s practicality its comfortable, spacious, smooth idling engine, built to withstand the wear and tear of use. This 1947 Plymouth Deluxe P2-10 for sale is in our Indianapolis Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For sale in our Nashville, TN show room is this well built 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe. The Plymouth Deluxe was a full-sized automobile, produced by Plymouth from 1946-1950. It came in two trim levels, the Deluxe and the top-of-the-line Special Deluxe. As the war in Europe wound down, the U.S. government slowly began allowing the automobile industry to return to the car-making business. It had been four years since any new cars had been built, and those cars still on the road were beginning to show their age. Plymouth's new models for 1946 were once again offered in two series, the P15S Deluxe and P15C Special Deluxe. Deluxe body styles included a four-door sedan, two-door sedan, club coupe, and business coupe. Waiting lists were common at dealerships. Those wanting a new car placed their name, and often a cash deposit, with the dealer. Customers hoped that as new cars became available. The first post-war Plymouth, a P15S Deluxe, came off the line October 22, 1945. Special Deluxes would follow four days later. Bodies for the P15 Plymouths were virtually unchanged from 1942, with only minor trim differences. Engineering magic greets you right from the start. You don’t grope for a starter button or pedal. You don’t pull on a choke. You simply turn the ignition key- and the engine starts. Plymouth literature claimed fifty improvements over the prewar cars; many were of little significance but were changes nonetheless. Mechanically there were few changes. The 217 ci engine stayed the same and was still rated at 95 hp, attained at 3600 rpm instead of 3400 rpm. An economy engine package using a smaller intake manifold and carburetor with 1 inch bore returned to the option list. Aluminum pistons replaced the cast iron ones that had been mandated during the war. Like many vendors, Carter couldn't supply enough of their model D6G 1 carburetors to meet Plymouth's production demands; Stromberg, which normally supplied Ford, provided its model 3-84 carburetor. Replacing the disposable oil filter was a new cleanable canister that contained a replacement cartridge. This is what we call a great survivor, repainted and ready for the road. If you would like to see more of this 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe or have any questions, please call us down at the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or visit us on the web at firstname.lastname@example.org

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1956 Plymouth Belvedere. The Plymouth Belvedere was produced by Plymouth from 1954 to 1970.The Belvedere name was first used for a new hardtop body style in the Plymouth Cranbrook line for the 1951 model year. In 1954. the Belvedere replaced the Cranbrook as the top trim and became a full model line with sedans, station wagons and convertible body styles. All Plymouths were treated to a major overhaul for the 1955 model year. This was the first year of Chrysler Stylist Virgil Exner's "Forward Look." The Belvedere returned as top-of-the-line. For 1956, Plymouth styling evolved from that of the 1955s. Most notable would be the introduction of the first push-button automatic transmission to appear in an American automobile, and a more dramatic rear-end treatment highlighted by a pair of rakish tail-fins. Belvedere remained the top full-line series through 1958. In 1956, Plymouth added seat belts. This 1956 Plymouth Belvedere is well equipped with the 277 CID V8 and Power flight 2 speed pushbutton automatic transmission. This beautiful classic is painted in beautiful Sea Spray Green with green and white cloth interior. Having had a full restoration completed in 2015 you will not find a cleaner or nicer or more unique 1956 Plymouth Belvedere around. Enjoy driving around town or your local car cruise. For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1962 Plymouth Valiant. This 62 Valiant for sale is an incredible find and a welcome addition to our showroom. Just walking past this car takes you back to a simpler time when the cars we drove were not just modes of transportation but rather reflection of our personalities. This almost all original 1962 Valiant for sale is sporting the paint and interior that it left the factory with 56 Years ago in fact, I only say almost all original only because some of the soft items like radiator hoses belts and some seals had to be replace due to age. Under the hood of this time capsule is the 170 cubic inch slant 6 cylinder that was bolted in at the factory all those years ago. Still bolted to the 3 speed automatic transmission that is controlled by push buttons on the left side of the dash. This multiple award winning 1962 Valiant V-200 for sale has only had 4 owners and it is easy to see that each and everyone of them love and cared for this car. Just a slight twist of the key is all that is needed to bring the iconic slant 6 to life and while it does not have the thump of a high lift cam or the rumple of a header and large exhaust, it does idle with a note of confidence that says “let’s hit the open road and go exploring” So if you have a exploring spirit and would like to be the 5th person to have their name on the title to this 1962 Valiant 4 door for sale give the Nashville showroom a call. Options for this 1962 V-200 for sale include: AM/FM radio, Hub caps, Front seat belts, Cloth interior, Bias ply tires with white walls. Engine: 426 Cross Ram HemiTransmission: 833 4 SpeedMileage: 100 ( since rebuilt )
Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1964 Plymouth Belvedere with a period correct 426 Cross-ram HEMI is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Belvedere name was first used on the new Hardtop body style on the Cranbrook line in 1951. In 19654 it replaced the Cranbrook as the top trim level and became a full model line with sedans, wagons, and convertibles all adorning the nameplate. It would go on as Plymouth’s full-sized car until 1965 when it became the intermediate until being abandoned all together after 1970. What most people will remember about the Belvedere however is it was the first production vehicle to come from the factory with the now legendary 426 HEMI. It is believed that only 35 legal street cars were produced making these cars one of the rarest MOPAR’s to ever leave the assembly line. An original Wedge car was found in AZ and hauled back to KY for its 4-year six figure build. The body of the car was straight and rust free, so minimal body work was required. Painted in the classic white paint this jewel is guaranteed to be in style long after were gone. The real deal aluminum hood is a highly sought-after piece that took quote some time to source. Under that huge hood scoop is really what we are here to talk about, the elephant in the room if you will, and I mean that literally. The engine was pieced together after many years of research from the original aluminum cross ram intake to the chrome valve covers this 426 is a real deal 12.5:1 ground pounding monster. The Carter carbs were not used as the Holley’s are considered to be a much more reliable setup and are the ones used on the 4-barrel model. With all that power to tame a bullet proof transmission was needed and just like in 64 the 833 4-speed was the go to piece. The rear-end would see the same consideration with an 8.75 rear being used but with a very respectable 3.55 being instead of the 4.56 that were found on most of these drag strip killers. The interior was the last piece of the puzzle but after 3 years the build was coming to an end. The bench seat upfront is exactly what you would you have seen in 1964 with the 4-speed shifter hugged up close and personal to the driver’s leg. It would prove to be the perfect position with your hand almost naturally falling right on to the handle you really couldn’t ask for anything better. The blue vinyl is correct and what should be in a 64 although the factory racers used van bucket seats. All in all, if you want one of the most radical production cars to ever leave Detroit this 64 Belvedere is it. Options on this 1964 Plymouth Belvedere with a Cross ram Hemi Include, Vinyl/Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, Hub Caps and Radial Tires on the front with a set of Bias Ply drag slicks on the back. For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a 2 owner 1965 Plymouth Fury III. This Wimbledon White Plymouth is powered by a 318 CID V8 engine. A 904 Torqueflight automatic transmission transfers the power to the pavement. Both the engine and transmission were rebuilt, and have approximately 3,000 miles on them. Up front, stacked headlights provide a confident first impression to this Plymouth C body hardtop, while a red stripe inside the chrome trim runs the length of the car and accents the red vinyl interior perfectly. The red interior is in good condition, free from any major signs of aging and wear. The no nonsense dash is simple and to the point, all the gauges are read easily, and the buttons are big and operated with little effort. The Fury was produced by Plymouth from 1955 to 1989. It began as a sub-series to the Belvedere, and became its own model in 1959. From there it bounced around a bit in classification, initially a full-size car, then a mid-size, back to a full size car, and back and forth a few more times during its production run. The 1965 Fury had 4 trim options, Fury I was the base model, Fury II and III featured more trim and options, while the Sport Fury was the top of the food chain in the Fury world. The available powerplants ranged from a 225 CID Slant 6 to a 426 CID Wedge and Hemi. This Fury III is powered by a 318 CID V8 engine, which is plenty of power for this little hardtop. The odometer reads 44,311, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1965 Plymouth Fury III include: AM Radio, Vinyl Interior, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Hub Caps, and Radial Tires. This 65' Plymouth Fury III is a great entry level classic car that will provide a wonderful walk down memory lane for countless onlookers. Now for sale at Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is this bad to the bone 1966 Plymouth Fury. The Plymouth Fury is a model of automobile which was produced by Plymouth from 1955 to 1989. The Fury was introduced as a sub-series of the Belvedere but was actually a level above. Over the years the Fury has bounced between a mid-size car and a full-size car over the years but this 1966 was definitely a full-size car. 1965 marked the year that Chrysler returned the Fury to a full size body and they used the Chrysler C-Body platform in which to do it. It now had an increased wheelbase of 119 inches which was an inch longer than before. The C-bodies were upper range large cars; and, like every Chrysler Corporation car, they had torsion bar front suspensions and rear leaf springs. The Chrysler (brand) cars had long hoods to accommodate big block engines, and, in nearly all cases, standard TorqueFlite automatics. They had a smooth ride but, thanks to their torsion bar suspensions, handled better than most, if not all, other large cars. Up front you will find a meaty 383 CID V8 engine that is more than adequate to push this beauty down the road. With it’s smooth shifting 727 transmission, 3rd member and 3:23 gears, it is gorgeous to drive and eats up miles really well. The odometer reads 27,604 miles but it has only covered 4000 miles since it was rebuilt! The car features a blue Dupont clear 3500 paint job and matching blue vinyl interior. You will find air conditioning, AM/FM radio, spare tire, power steering, power seats, power windows, a jack and radial tires on aluminum alloy wheels! The A/C blows cold and the heat blows hot too. You will certainly be very happy with this car. Please reach out to the Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom at (832) 243-6220 to learn more about the truck or to learn about purchase and finance options. You can visit the truck in person at 1910 Cypress Station Dr Suite 200, Houston, TX 77090. To see all the HD pictures and video please go to www.gatewayclassiccars.com/HOU/1160/1966-Plymouth-fury.

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1966 Plymouth Belvedere Nostalgia Super Stock. Nostalgia Super Stock is a category of drag racing that recreates the glory days of the 60’s. Starting back in the mid 80’s there were quite a few guys beginning to revive the spirit of the original era which led to the class being formed. This 66 is a fitting example of what these cars are all about. No fancy ECU’s collecting data for the next hit or controlling spark and fuel mixtures on this beast. Just plain and simple raw power with the driver trying to get it to the ground. This 66 was a great car when started with the body in an excellent condition the attention was directed to the heart of the MOPAR. Built by Muscle Motors in Lansing MI, the 572 CI HEMI is a force to be contended with. Putting out a ground shaking 800 HP standing next to this behemoth at idle is something every gearhead needs to experience. With those massive Hemi heads taking up so much space it takes a couple looks to figure out how that got so much engine under that hood. With the cross-ram intake sitting on top getting enough fuel to this animal is the least of your worries. Built by John Cope the reverse manual valve body 727 trans is exactly what you would expect in such a build. Getting power to the ground is the bullet proof Dana 60 rear end which has been filled with a set of Moser 40 splined axles. The 4.56 gear set will get this MOPAR down the ¼ mile perfectly. The cage has been certified and meets the NHRA standards for nostalgia super stock with the fit being one of the best I have seen. The Gary Ball Super Stock interior is clean and what should be in the car keeping it as close to the real deal as possible. With a build expense into the 6 figures and only 20 passes on the car this would be an excellent way to get into one of the most competitive and coolest classes of drag racing there is. Options on this 1966 Plymouth Belvedere Nostalgia Super Stock include, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Bias Ply Drag Tires on the rear and Radial tires on the front. This 1966 Plymouth Belvedere is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer super nice 1967 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible. The second-generation Barracuda, now a 108 in wheelbase A-body, still shared many components with the Valiant but was stylishly redesigned with model-specific sheet metal, and a convertible and hardtop coupe joining the original fastback offering. In 1967, while the 225 cu in slant-6 was still the base engine, the V8 options ranged from the two- and four-barrel versions of the 273 cu in to a seldom-ordered 383 cu in "B" big-block, rated at 280 bhp which was only available only with the Formula S package. Now just imagine if a 440 V-8 were available in 1967? Why it would have ran circles around the other pony cars. With a little thought and work the 440 V-8 fit right in there. It even looks like its from the factory. Backing the rebuilt 440 is a new automatic transmission that only has about 500 miles on it. To bring this healthy big cubic inch 440 back down to a halt, disc brakes have been added to the front. All the work to this car has been done in the last 2-3 years by Snake Pit Customs of Indianapolis, Indiana. If you’re looking for a fun summer time cruiser, that can burn tires at the push of the pedal, then look no further. This Cuda will be sure to impress your friends! Options for this 1967 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible include; AM/FM radio with CD player, power steering, power convertible top, seat belts and Aluminum wheels wrapped in radial tires. For sale in our Dallas Fort Worth showroom is a second generation Plymouth Barracuda from 1967. The second-generation Barracuda, still shared many components with the Valiant but was stylishly redesigned with model-specific sheet metal, and a convertible and hardtop coupe joining the original fastback offering. The new Barracuda was chiefly the work of John E. Herlitz and John Samsen, with Coke-bottle side contours and heavily revised front and rear ends. Design cues included a concave rear deck panel, wider wheel openings, curved side glass, and S-curved roof pillars on the hardtop. Some points of interest with the 1967 Cudas were that the front and rear bumpers were identical. They have the same license plate indent and mounting bracket. The rear portion of the roof on the fastback coupe was more streamlined, and the back glass, raked at a substantially horizontal angle, was much smaller compared with that of the previous model. Also, the use of chrome trim on the external sheet metal was more restrained. In 1967, while the 225 cu in (3.7 L) slant-6 was still the base engine, the V8 options ranged from the two- and four-barrel versions of the 273 cu in (4.5 L) to a seldom-ordered 383 cu in (6.3 L) "B" big-block, rated at 280 bhp (210 kW), the latter available only with the Formula S package. This Barracuda comes with a rebuilt 225 slant-6 and a 4 speed automatic transmission. This very beautiful 1967 Plymouth Belvedere II is for sale in our Louisville Showroom. From the outside, this Belvedere II has a survivor look of a car that has been basically maintained through its many years of life. The exterior paint shows some wear with a few touch ups here and there. These particular types of cars have gained in popularity in the last few years. A set of American Torque Thrust wheels have been added to dress up the Belvedere a bit, but if you want more of a sleeper look, then the stock steel wheels are in the trunk. The wheels have been colored match to the match the car and there is a set of “dog dish” hub caps to finish off the stock look. Inside the interior looks stock with only minimal wear here and there. No trailer Queen here, just a nice solid reliable driver that will bring loads of fun to the new driver. Get a little scratch in the paint job, no big deal, it happens! Now under the hood is a slightly different story. The original engine has been replaced with a Mopar 360 V8 crate engine. A quick turn of the key, the engine roars to life with a nice lopey idle. Options on this 1967 Plymouth Belvedere II include; AM/FM Radio (needs work), Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and Aluminum Alloy Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. To view this driver quality 1967 Plymouth Belvedere II, including an HD video, go to our website www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call at 812-294-1555 or email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com for more information.

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas presents this sharp example of one of the most sought-after muscle cars in automobile history, a Number's Matching 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX! Chrysler had one thing in mind when they designed the GTX, the perfect combination of style and performance. Known as the “Gentleman’s Muscle Car,” the GTX debuted in 1967 on the Belvedere platform and proved to be Plymouth’s first “unified performance model.” As featured on this fine vehicle, simulated hood scoops gave the hood an aggressive appearance while a unique grill and rear panel gave it a touch of sporty class. A “pit stop” gas cap conveyed the relationship Chrysler had in the NASCAR Grand National Series with Richard Petty as their star driver for Plymouth. Petty would go on to win a record 27 races that year as well as his second championship in the Plymouth Belvedere. While this isn’t a race car, it is a force to be reckoned with on the street powered by a 440 CID V8 engine, a potent power plant! Linked to a three-speed automatic transmission, this silver bullet fires across the road! Don’t forget about the interior of this Mopar! The spacious, sporty space features black bucket seats and a handsome center console that holds the chrome shifter. Embossed seats put the GTX over the rest of the competition while a wide rimmed steering wheel provides the perfect conduit to get this car where you need to go. Don’t waste any more time, take this car home today! Additional features are Rallye Wheels, Power Brakes and Power Steering. This numbers matching 1967 Plymouth Fury III is for sale in our Houston Showroom. The car is powered by a 383 CID Commando V8 backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. The owner said it only has 13,500 miles since the rebuild and it definitely shows. The car has an 8-track player with a few albums to go with it as well so you can really go back in time! The electric convertible top, power brakes, power steering, vinyl interior and seat belts give you the creature comforts that you want in order to make this classic as comfortable as ever. The car has documentation and a few spares that go with it. Anyone who buys this will own a true gem. For 1967, the Fury body was restyled with a sharp, angular profile. The stacked quad headlight bezels were curvier and set more deeply into the body, giving the car a more muscular look. The rooflines had sharper angles and gave the car a longer, more luxurious appearance. A new, formal two-door hardtop body style appeared which featured smaller rear quarter windows and a wider, back-slanted "C" pillar. Called the "fast top," it was offered alongside the restyled thin "C" pillar hardtop in both VIP and Sport Fury series (as well as on corresponding big Dodge models). The 1967 model year introduced new safety regulations, which meant that for the first time, all Plymouths included dual-circuit brake master cylinder, energy-absorbing steering column and wheel, recessed instrument panel controls, and shoulder belt mounting points for outboard front seat occupants. This beauty is located at our Houston location showroom and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com, or call (832) 243-6220 for additional information.
