1963 Pontiac Grand Prix for sale in our Louisville Showroom. This 1963 Pontiac Grand Prix is a great example of where the brand was going in the early 60s. Pontiac’s theme of “quite elegance” that combined sports car appeal with distinctively styled luxury shows in many areas of the car. Predominantly in the sweeping grille with twin vertical headlights and impressive turn signals and a concaved rear window and industry first. This car shows what auto designers were thing after the shoe box cars of the fifties with the mind set of lower, wider and longer being the way autos were moving. This 1963 Grand Prix is painted in a very dark blue nearly black which fits the body very well. The car is powered by the big 389 CID V-8 hooked to an automatic transmission for easy cruising. Under the hood is nicely detailed and the addition of chrome valve covers and air filter dress it out nicely. The interior of the car is fitted with Blue vinyl upholstery that is in good condition and sports a newly recovered dash. The body shows well and the dark color really makes the trim stand out. Other options include: AM radio (not functioning), power brakes, power steering, front seat belts, vinyl interior, white wall tires, 8-lug rims, reel out trunk light and radial tires.
