This beautiful black 1940 Ford Tudor Sedan is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. 1940 was a rough year to be in the car business. With war on everyone’s mind and not even quite recovered from the worst economic downturn the world had ever seen. Having that said Ford had done very little to its line up with the major differences happening actually on the inside. The outside was already near perfection which is probably why these cars are still so loved today. Popular to the Streetrod crowd, they are taken and stripped down to nothing but a shell and then rebuilt using modern parts. This 40 Ford is a great example of just that. The body itself is in excellent shape with panel fitment being of the highest quality. The black paint looks like a sheet of glass with the chrome being the perfect contrast. The extra wide white walls are a classic touch with the red painted steel wheels completing that timeless look. Under the hood is the most popular engine to ever be created, the small block 350. This one has been specifically designed and fitted to this particular car giving it a very fresh look. The ram air style breather sits proudly atop the small block Chevy. Transferring power to the ground via a TH350 the car cruises rather nicely. The rear end houses a set of what are believed to be 3.55 gears that will allow you to drive this beauty at highway speeds. Open the door and a well equipped interior not only looks good but is extremely comfortable. The front bucket seats are separated by a console which houses the automatic shifter making you feel as if you are in a sports car. The radio has been specially mounted just to ensure no cutting of the dash. After all it is 76 years old. Options on this extremely clean 1940 Ford Tudor Sedan include; AC, AM/FM/CD, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt, Cloth Interior, and Wide White Wall Radial Tires. This 1940 Ford Tudor Sedan can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For more information call the showroom at (812) 294 1555 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
