Wow! For sale in our Houston Showroom is this stunning 1951 Ford Victoria. Everywhere you look on this beautiful Victoria you see true American workmanship. Look at the dazzling bright work. The 1951 Ford Custom Victoria was Ford's first hardtop, with a 255 CiD flathead V8 out of a 53 mercury that can get this car to 100+ miles per hour if desired. The engine has undergone a recent rebuild about 10k miles ago. It has a radio with update speaker in back seat, white wall tires and audition cluster gauge. the Custom Victoria proved immensely popular, outselling Chevrolet's Bel Air by about 7,000 units this year. The pillarless superstructure was styled by Gordon M. Buehrig, of Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg fame, who had come to Dearborn after leaving the Loewy team at Studebaker. Despite exceptionally clean lines, a relatively posh interior, and good performance from the reliable flathead V-8, the first Victoria used to be somewhat overlooked by collectors, but in the last decade has become more desired. The car has a great cream exterior that shows well and looks like a more recent paint job and color matched interior that makes for a great daily driver or cruiser.
The car was purchased out of a classic car museum in Kansas & was originally from the state of Oklahoma. The car has always remained isolated to the SW region of the U.S. during its life. The car has won several awards like “best in class” “best interior” & “people’s choice”. The owner has also serviced the car recently with items such as the continental kit on the rear trunk, new fuel pump, new gas tank, & a recent tune up.
All options on the car work as they should and this all of the items mentioned in this ad combine to make this car a very nice running & driving vehicle that is ready to be enjoyed by her next owner.
