For sale in our Houston showroom is a steel 1931 Ford Model A Roadster. This car not only incorporates the iconic design of the late 20's and early 30's but also has a blast-from-the-past rumble seat that is perfect for the little ones. By the late 1920's the Model T was becoming less competitive in the market with other manufacturers offering more modern conveniences at reasonable prices. The folks at Ford fought to get old Henry to produce something that was good looking and reliable but also more sturdy and easier to drive and thus the Model A was born. This styling would later become one of the most iconic cars of the 1930's, and allowed families to travel longer distances with more comfort. Luckily, but the time the Model A came around, you could actually have it in any color you like. This one has been painted in its original tan color that is a job well done and shows very well contrasting against the black running boards, mustard colored wheels, & off-white top. The body is in great shape and is free from any major dents or scratches of any kind. The trim & bumpers are straight and look fantastic on the car and with the additional luggage rack that was a high sought after option. The car features a gorgeous brown leather bench seat & door panels that exude class. The dash was painted to match the color scheme of the car with the gauges in great & working condition. Under the dash is also looks good with all restored components. Powering this Model A Roadster down the road is the cars original 4-cylinder engine that is paired to a 3-speed manual transmission. Both have been rebuilt with less than 2500 miles on them since. This is an all numbers matching & all metal car so no fiberglass here & this one is a sure fire collectors car. This car is as clean as they come and is ready to make its new owner very happy. You can own this piece of history and be the talk of your friends when you ride up to your next car meet in this amazing classic piece of history.
