The 372 in this has forged crank, rods and pistons, Dart aluminum heads, 205 CC runners, comp cams, Big mother thumper cam, roller hydraulic Cam, Rocker 1.55 Scorpion Rockers. All of this makes this built high performance Firebird 496 HP and 492 torque at the crank. This is paired up to a Muncie M-20 4 speed transmission with a 5-60 rear end 3.73 gears and track lock Posi. This car moves and is ready to be enjoyed by car guys of all ages. It is very well optioned well with power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior, and raised white letter radial tires on rally wheels! This car runs and drives great and looks even better in it’s stunning green paint with black vinyl interior. The rally wheels and 350 emblems on the hood really give this Firebird a muscle car look. During restoration, the entire bottom of the car sand blasted and repainted to correct colors. All the body panels were removed and repainted, and the doors were completely taken apart and rebuilt before being re-installed on the car and everything lines up nice and straight as if it were brand new. The all new leather interior and carpet accents nicely against the black exterior paint and chrome that shine brilliantly in the sun. It even has that new-car smell! All new suspension was added giving this classic MK II a nice comfortable ride that is extremely straight and stable. Thank you for your interest in this sharp looking 1964 Volkswagen Beetle located at our Tampa location. This imported baby blue Beetle has been restored and is ready to tackle the streets. This might be the most stylish Beetle that Gateway Classic Cars has ever had the honor of listing for sale. The 1600cc engine and 4 speed manual transmission combination has been used for many years in the Beetles and there is a reason why, this car is still to this day running and driving strong. This car was imported from Spain about 2 years ago and has been repainted to a unique baby blue that turns heads everywhere it goes. Although the paint was freshly done, all the panels are still original. The real style comes from the chrome wheels and lowered suspension. The interior is wrapped in beige cloth that flows with the exterior paint for the overall desired look. This Beetle does have many features that include A/C, AM/FM radio, seat belts, and cloth interior. 1964 models could be identified by a widened light housing on the engine lid over the rear license plate, however the standard model continued to use the old teardrop style to the end of the 1965 model run. Bolted to the block are aluminum heads with custom valve covers, a Demon 4bbl carburetor, and headers mounted to dual 3” exhaust. The engine bay is painted to match yellow and accented beautifully with chrome and stainless steel trim, and steel braided lines. An aluminum radiator and transmission cooler with fan have been installed to provide extra cooling on warm days. The ride is fantastic with its air ride suspension with the compressor mounted inside the beautifully finished oak bed liner. New front disc brakes and rear drums calibers have been installed to bring this hot rod to a smooth stop with ease and comfort. The yellow paint is in fantastic condition and accents nicely with the chrome 20 in wheels (255/35-20 all around) and chrome bumpers, all of which shine brilliantly in the sun. The black/yellow interior is in equally impressive condition and the bench seat is extremely comfortable. This custom Vicky is built on a Fatman Chassis with a Pete & Jakes drop axle front-end, Ford 9” rear-end, and Wilwood disc brakes all the way around. Under the hood of this badboy is a 350 CID motor that has been bored .30 over with a full Edelbrock setup that includes: Polished intake, Carburetor, and valve covers. Bolted to the motor is also a set of short-tube headers, billet wire loom mounts, chrome alternator, and A/C – and she blows nice and cold! The motor is paired to a smooth shifting 700R4 – and she runs and drives outstanding. The all-fiberglass body (except for running boards and hood which are steel) is covered in 2002 Corvette Galaxy Silver Metallic paint that is in pristine condition and virtually flawless, and is accented with classic pin-striping. The aggressive low-profile stance gives this car an intimidating attitude that is finished off with a chrome set of FOOSE Wheels. This hotrod may not have power steering or power brakes but it is incredibly easy to maneuver and drive due to its light weight fiberglass body. The door handles and locks have been shaved off and electronic door poppers have been hidden in place, both under the runners, and inside under the dash. The back end can be opened by an electronic actuator with the key fob, and locked from the inside for security. Under the dash you will also find the electronic Overdrive switch and A/C switches. The Black interior has been nicely done in Ostridge skin leather and black vinyl on the seats, door panels, and headliner – all in excellent condition. Despite its chopped roof, it is very easy to see out of with the set of billet mirrors that have also been added. This motor has forged crank, pistons, and rods. What makes this car most desirable are all the upgrades that have already been done to the engine. It even has HAWK aluminum heads, cc intake runners, hydraulic roller cam, electric fuel pump, 750 double pumper from Summit, and even an upgraded STEFS 6-quart Aluminum oil pan. The driving experience of this Mercury is truly something to enjoy. The paint and body of this car are in excellent condition. The style of this car really comes from the Crites fiberglass hood with functional Ram Air. The 3-inch Flowmaster exhaust that peaks out the rear of the car sound fantastic. The wheels put on this are Billet Specialties Street Lite with tons of life left in the tires. The electrical has been rewired with a Ron Francis Kit and has an in cab off/on switch for the Spal Pusher fan. For sale in our Tampa Showroom is a beautiful 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Pontiac originally built the Trans Am as a pony car to compete with the Ford Mustang back in 1967. Pontiac built the Firebird Trans Am from 1967 up until 2002. This 1979 Starlite Black Bandit Trans Am has the original number matching motor and transmission. This Car was made famous from the movie “Smokey and the Bandit” in which Burt Reynolds drove a similar car. The exterior is in perfect driver quality condition for you to go have fun in. The paint and body were completely restored about 5 years ago with receipts. The two-tone cloth interior is great condition as well. Powering this stunning T/A is a 403 V8 pushing 186HP. The Oldsmobile 403 was standard in the Trans Am and the last of the Pontiac 400s were installed in only 8,326 cars. The 4-speed Automatic transmission makes shifting gears smooth and seamless.
