The 2 door sedan body has been chopped 3" for a nice aggressive look. The lights have been swapped out for '39 Chevy tail lights and '34 Ford Commercial headlights. The paint is a beautiful blue which contrast well with the white accents. The white top is super cool; it's a completely detachable canvas top which can be removed for open air driving. This sweet body sits on a Pete and Jakes frame which sports a Super Bell front suspension and steering as well as a chrome 4 link. The front end has a chrome drop axle, and chrome Wilwood brakes in the front which resemble old Buick finned drums. The engine is a rebuilt 390 CID V8 FE Ford engine. It wears a rebuilt FE Tri-Power and custom Zoomie headers. Behind the 390 is a TKO 500 5 speed manual, and a Ford 9" rear end with 3.50 gears with limited slip. Hop inside this time machine and you'll find white and blue upholstery with room for 4 comfortably. There is a modern heater hidden within a vintage housing under the dash, but this machine is best enjoyed with the wind in your hair. This is a well executed build with a great vintage theme. The Gateway Classic Cars Showroom in Saint Louis is tremendously proud to offer this amazingly restored and well-kept 1934 Ford Tudor. In succession of the Model A, between 1932 and 1934 Ford produced three new cars; Model B, Model 18, and Model 40. The noticeable changes of the 1934 design included a flatter grille with a wider surround and fewer bars, straight hood louvers, two handles on each side of the hood, smaller head lights and cowl lamps, and a reworked logo. This 1934 Ford Model 40 has been reworked to be powered by a RAM Jet 350, which is a Chevy Small-Block V8 (Cubic Inch Displacement 350) that has a maximum RPM of 5200. Pushing is the engine is a General Motors 4L60-E (TH700R4). Other modern driving features includes: Power Brakes, Posi Traction, Power Brakes, Radial Tires, and Tilt Wheel. The engine, transmission, and wiring were all installed in 2008. Smooth driving performance aside, what makes you motivated to buy this 1934 Ford Model 40 is because it looks better than everything else on the road. The condition of the exterior black paint job from 2008 is in excellent condition and doesn't even need to be waxed to shine as it does. This car has been kept in clean and dry conditions since she was built. The Show Me glass body sits on a Pete and Jake's frame and features a Heidt's front end. The accenting chrome trim and wheels only make the whole ride the reason why people stop and turns their heads to watch her strut her stuff. Running across the front of the Tudor are the classic white, yellow, red, and orange flames. Gateway Classic Cars of Saint Louis is proud to offer a great little 1952 Willys M38A1 “Jeep.” Willys was the brand name used by Willys-Overland Motors which is most well known for producing light duty military vehicles as well as civilian “CJ” vehicles. From 1952 to 1957 it was purchased specifically by the U.S. military, and thereafter by the U.S. Marine Corps and exported to foreign governments until the end of production in 1971. Willy-Overland eventually merged with Kaiser to form Kaiser-Jeep which eventually became the brand we know today as simply “Jeep.” This M38A1 / MD version was the first of the Willys Jeep to feature the round fender and hood design, which would later become the distinctive body style of the 1955 CJ-5, and which was carried through the CJ-6, CJ-7, and CJ-8. This Jeep is fit for enthusiasts. There has be no modernization to take away from the original spirit of the M38A1. Any reproduction work needed was performed according to original specs. Particularly unique to this Willy is that it has a 24-volt electrical system that is in contrast to the 6-volt electrical system that is most commonly found on the open market. It also comes with a fording system, pintel hook and trailer hook up, reproduction wiring harness, hand throttle, and a large whip antenna. For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1965 Ford Mustang 2+2, aka Fastback. This beautiful Ivy Green 4-speed car has recently undergone a detailed restoration. During the restoration the A code 289 engine was built to Hi Po (K-code) specs with the addition of roller rockers. Adding roller rockers to an already amazing engine is a recipe for further greatness. Backed up by a 4-speed manual just makes this car that much more fun! The Ivy green paint shines like new, the black vinyl interior also looks new and is very comfortable. Inside you'll also notice a set of Rally Pack gauges atop the steering column and a center console. The dash pad looks new and is free of any cracks or wrinkles as is the headliner that fits tightly. The gauge cluster has been swapped out for a '66 gauge cluster. Some prefer the circular gauges as opposed to the sweeping speedo from a '65. Adding to the exterior are White Mustang rocker panel stripes, Magnum 500 wheels, GT fog lights and GT trumpet exhaust tips. Other notable features are the front disc brakes and power steering that aids in easy maneuvering. A lot of these were equipped with four wheel drums which can be a bit frightening at times. For sale in our St. Louis showroom is an RB26 powered 1991 Nissan Skyline GT-R. This is a true GT-R, it is an All-Wheel-Drive animal that was imported straight from Yokosuka, Japan. It is powered by the RB26DETT twin turbo inline 6 cylinder engine that is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. Recent mechanical updates include a new alternator, fuel injectors, N1 Breakmaster brake master cylinder, and an ECU (Apexi Power FC). The black aluminum/alloy wheels are wrapped in new all season radial tires, and underwent a full alignment to insure the proper stance and wear. Other recent adds include a new battery and HID headlights, which provide a killer/custom look. The black metallic paint is not perfect, but still shines well, and does not deter the onlookers one bit. The cloth interior does show some wear, but nothing unexpected from a car with some miles on it. The odometer reads 151,367 kilometers, that translates to 94,055 miles, and is the actual mileage on the car. For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a unique 1929 Ford Model A 2 Door Sedan. The build for this 29' Model A was carefully planned and executed. There are several small nostalgic cues throughout the build including the Piper Cub brake pedal, Airstream trailer tail lights, and a Chevrolet heater box that was converted to a stereo enclosure and glove box. The roof of this Model A was chopped 3.5" inches and features a Mercedes Benz cloth top. The 1920's era Willys Overland headlamps up front have been converted to halogen, which provide ample light if you so choose to drive after the sun goes down. The passenger area of the floorboard has been coated with spray-on bed liner and provides a nice non-slide surface. The rest of the cabin is finished in a light yellow, almost cream color, for a classy, streamline look. The interior has a list of custom goodies including: a gauge cluster from a 56' Ford F100, Piper aircraft brake pedal, vintage Booneville gas pedal, and a hood ornament for a shifter. Powering this one of a kind Model A is a 350 CID SBC V8 engine with a small cam, HEI ignition, Mickey Thompson valve covers, 100 amp chrome alternator, an aluminum high rise intake, and a Holley 4 bbl carburetor. The air cleaner is super cool, it was fashioned out of an old Ford hub cap, and displays the V8 symbol proudly. The aluminum radiator with an electric fan has an old weed sprayer as an overflow tank! A 350 automatic transmission shifts the power to the 57' Chevrolet differential that houses 3.70 gears. The exterior is finished in a light green color and is accented by a black stripe that ties the black top in very nicely. Up front you will find an old illuminated hood ornament that helps tie the whole build together. The Model A frame has been fully boxed, and has a dropped front cross-member. The suspension setup consists of a 4 inch dropped and drilled front beam axle, a vintage style hairpin front and rear suspension, and adjustable coil-overs in the rear. Disc brakes in the front and drum in the rear provide plenty of stopping power for this little Ford. The odometer reads 58,338, but the actual mileage is unknown. Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a freshly built bad to the bone 1921 Ford T-Bucket. If you want a lightweight high horsepower ride with tons of attitude, here it is. This T-Bucket comes freshly built with less than 500 miles on it! This one has the traditional open T-Bucket look with a small bed on the back. That's about the only basic thing about it. Up front is a brand new from BluePrint Engines 383 CID V8 which is quite the screamer. BluePrints is able to squeeze out 430 HP and 450 lb ft of torque. To dress it up, a Vintage Speed Tri-Power set up has been dropped on top. The air cleaners, valve covers, and plenty of other accessories have been done in chrome for some eye candy. That screaming 383 breathes through open 4 into 4 headers which announce your presence. Backing the V8 is a TH350 automatic transmission and a 10 bolt rear end. This one has been nicely built with 4 wheel disc brakes to bring it all to a stop. The T sits on Weld Racing wheels with some big fat Mickey Thompsons on the back, and matching smaller Mickeys up front. The body and frame are finished in black, but the engine and interior are red for a nice contrast. The interior is beautifully upholstered with enough room for the two brave enough souls to rip this bad boy around town. A tilt column helps with climbing aboard. This 1941 Chevrolet Coupe has come a long way from the way it would have looked back in 1941, but with its curves, color, and sound it stirs the memory and imagination of everyone who sees it. This 1941 Coupe has been chopped, tubbed, and shaved for a one of a kind look. Under the hood is a 350 CID V8 with aluminum heads and two aluminum intake with Holley dual quad barrel carburetors. The 350 is backed by a 3 speed automatic TH350 transmission which has a high quality Lokar shifter. Power runs to a narrowed 9" Ford rear end with 3.55 Posi gears. The body sits on adjustable coil suspension on the front and rear with a 4 bar set up in the rear. The body is very straight and is finished in a 2010 Corvette orange with gray two tone on top. The rod sits on Weld racing wheels with street legal radials in all corners, and some massive Mickey Thompson 29/18/15 in the rear. The door handles have been shaved so the key fob activates door poppers. The interior is very nicely laid out with power driver seat, Vintage Air air conditioning, modern AM/FM/CD stereo, power windows, tilt steering column, Dolphin gauges, an on-command rear-view camera, batter kill switch. The wood grain custom center console houses AC vents, AC controls, stereo, and even cup holders. This one really has all the comforts of home. The modernization also includes remote entry, a powered trunk release, a back-up driver's door release just inside of the front grill, and a battery switch. For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a freshly painted 1940 Chevrolet Deluxe 2 Door Sedan. This 40’ Chevy is indeed fresh out of the paint booth, a new coat of red was applied just and looks great. The two tone interior features gray cloth with red inserts, while the dash has been painted to match the exterior, and VDO gauges give the driver the vitals of the car. A 350 CID V8 engine with a Holley aluminum intake and carburetor provides the muscle to this street ride. A TH-350 automatic transmission transfers the power to the 10 bolt rear end. An aluminum radiator helps keep this Chevy cool on long hot days while out and about. The 40’ Chevrolet body sits on a frame donated from a 1970 Chevrolet, as is the engine, transmission, and rear end. The rally wheels, bumpers, grille, and gas door have been painted flat black to accent the red paint, and provide a very nice appearance. The odometer reads 20,087, but the actual mileage is unknown.
