Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 25 ( since rebuilt )

This truck was rebuilt by “Wild Man Customs” and has over $14,000 worth of receipts showing the amount of restoration work. The truck has received all new hoses, plugs, gaskets, fuel pump, and wiring system to keep it up to snuff. The front end was swapped out for more modern suspension improving the drivability. The front runner was swapped to include power steering to make turns a breeze. The list goes on to include new bushing kit, overflow tank, and even a Summit racing exhaust system to make a very aggressive sounding truck. Walking around the truck you will find the light blue paint is in great condition with only a few minor blemishes being this is a driver’s vehicle and is meant to be on the road and not trailered down it. 1940 Ford Deluxe Sedan

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 56,560 ( undocumented )

Now for sale in Houston showroom is one very cool all-metal 1940 Ford Sedan Deluxe. Covered in a Creme and Burgundy two-tone paint scheme, it looks like any other nicely-done 1940's sedan, but this one is not what it seems at first glance...but more on that later! Its exterior chrome is in good shape, and the interior chrome trim looks great! Open the hood, and you'll note that the engine bay sports a decidely non-'40s GM 350 CID V8, with a mild Comp Cams bumpstick, double hump heads, a Holley aluminum intake, Edelbrock 4BBL carb, and coated shorty headers. Power Steering and A/C are added benefits; along with a massive HD radiator with twin pull fans behind it and a big pusher fan at the front. Certainly this is one sleeper rod that will run long and cool. The 350 has less than 5000 miles on it since it was built, and it and the GM TH350 3-peed auto trans work seamlessly with the 3.08:1-equipped GM 12-bolt posi rear end to get this thing up to speed quickly. When you want to scrub off that speed, the front disk/rear drum brake combo work in tandem to haul things down quickly. When you come to a stop, you'll appreciate the menacing rumble that the custom dual exhaust with FlowMaster mufflers provide, and so will your audience at the cruise-ins you'll be frequenting in this stylish "old gal with the young heart"! Moving to the inside, you'll appreciate the craftsmanship that went into the restoration of the interior. Using modern materials, but keeping the vintage motif, the interior looks as though it could have been original, but it's obviously a modernized upgrade of the fabrics that it would have had. In keeping with the accent color of the exterior, the maroon synthetic leather-trimmed cloth seats and all carpeting coordinate nicely with the exterior. Occupants will appreciate the extra space in the back, and everyone will enjoy the air-conditioned comfort that this baby provides. The AM/FM/CD head unit provides your choice of audio. The driver will appreciate the addition of the Equus Pro Tach, and the 3 gauge cluster under the dash helps keep vital engine functions monitoring just a glance away. Additional options on this 1940 Ford Sedan Deluxe for sale include Air Conditioning, AM/FM/CD Radio, Hub Caps, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Synthetic Leather seating. 1973 Jeep CJ5

1973 Jeep CJ5

Engine: 304 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Manual
Mileage: 609 ( undocumented )

Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this awesome 1973 Jeep CJ5! This one is powered by a numbers matching 304 CID V8 engine with a 3-speed manual transmission. Outside it is yellow and inside you will find tan vinyl seats. Safety is enhanced with seat belts. Radial white letter tires wrap rally wheels. This is not a resto mod Jeep, this is a survivor. It hasn’t been updated to modern and non-original equipment. The paint is original and has stayed very nice. It only has 41,000 (mostly towed) miles on the clock! The car was originally from California, how do we know? We have the original 1973 owner’s manual supplement service policy and warranty with the original owner listed on the back! The Willys CJ-5 (after 1964 Jeep CJ-5) was influenced by new corporate owner, Kaiser, and the Korean War M38A1 Jeep. It was intended to replace the CJ-3B, but that model continued in production. The CJ-5 repeated this pattern, continuing in production for three decades while three newer models appeared. "The CJ-5 has the distinct honor of being a vehicle that was hard to kill off... equaling the longest production run of note. The 1972 model year brought significant changes to the CJ-5. American Motors began fitting their own engines, which also required changes to both body and chassis. The base Willys 4-cylinder was replaced by AMC's Torque Command straight-6 engines, giving the entry-level CJ-5 the power of the previously optional Buick V6. Standard became the 232 cu in (3.8 L), and optional the 258 cu in (4.2 L), which was standard in California. Both engines used a one-barrel Carter YF carburetor. Also in 1972, AMC's 304 cu in (5.0 L) V8 engine became available, which upgraded the power-to-weight ratio to a level comparable to a V8 muscle-car. Other drive-train changes included a new front axle - a full-floating, open-knuckle Dana 30, which was both 25 lbs lighter and reduced the turning circle by 6 ft. To accommodate the new engines, the wheelbase was stretched by 3 in (76 mm), and the fenders and hood were stretched by 5 in (127 mm), pushing the firewall two inches closer to the rear. A new box-frame was fitted, featuring six cross-members for more rigidity. Also, a larger fuel tank was mounted, moved from under the driver's seat to under the rear, between the frame rails. In 1973, a new dash was introduced, with a single gauge in the center of the dash housing the speedometer and fuel and temperature gauges. This beautiful Jeep is in our Houston showroom. Come by and see us at 1910 Cypress Station Dr #200, Houston, TX 77090. You can contact the showroom at (832)243-6220 or email the at Houston@GatewayClassicCars.com
