1929 Ford Coupe

Engine: 383 Stroker
Transmission: 350 Automatic
Mileage: 25,703 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to present this 1929 Ford Coupe. Do you want to be ordinary or extraordinary? If your answer is extraordinary, then you have chosen the right “Hot Rod.” When you think of a “Hot Rod” or “Muscle Car”, the first cars that come to mind are Camaro’s, Mustang’s, Cuda’s, etc. This is none of the above and yet, it’s still one super cool “Hot Rod.” It is a tie for first place when it comes to what catches your attention initially, but one thing is for certain and two things are for sure, your answer will either be the bright yellow paint, or the sound of the mean 383 stroker motor. Whichever one you choose, you won’t be wrong. The yellow paint is bright enough to make you feel like your looking at the sun, which is offset by a beautiful strategically placed flat back hood and black capped roof. The real show stopper of the exterior is the exposed chromed-out engine displaying chrome long tube headers. Just when you thought you thought you had the color combination figured out, another twist appears. Take a look inside and you will find burgundy bucket seats. Talk about extraordinary! Don’t worry about being squished in this coupe either, there’s plenty of room to fit four comfortably. Three’s company, four is a crowd, so load up your friends and family and enjoy cruising this “Sweet” ride. The 350 turbo automatic transmission will allow you to keep a hand free at all times to wave at the onlookers as they acknowledge your ‘29 Ford Coupe. Options include AM/FM Radio, Hub Caps, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, and Radial Tires. It’s nice to be part of the in-crowd, but it is even better when you are the cause of the crowd. This 1929 Ford Coupe is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information, please call our knowledgeable staff at (813)645-6200 or email us at Tampa@GatewayClassicCars.com. 1957 Chrysler 300 C

1957 Chrysler 300 C

Engine: 392 CID V8 HEMI
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 73,564 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this awesome 1957 Chrysler 300C convertible. Only 484 Convertible 300C Chryslers were made in 1957 and it is said that less than 50 are all that's left in running order! Sporting dual four barrel carburetors with NASCAR inspired dual air filters, this badboy was rated at 375 horsepower and 420 lbs of torque that topped out at 145+ miles per hour in the “Two Way Flying Mile.” The Chrysler 300 "letter series" were high-performance luxury cars built in very limited numbers by the Chrysler Corporation in the U.S. from 1955–1965. Each year's model used a new letter of the alphabet as a suffix (skipping "i"), reaching 300L by 1965, after which the model was dropped. 1957 was the first year a convertible was offered in the 300 series and was the pinnacle of performance and luxury. The Hemi head engine was backed by a 3 speed Torqueflite A488 automatic transmission which is great for cruising speeds, and really set the interior apart with its push button operation. Unlike later Chryslers, the 300C was built using body-on-frame construction; that would last through 1959. The 300C was based on the Chrysler New Yorker, with many changes that was more than just options and appearance. The height was just 54.7 inches; new dual headlights provided a claimed 75 feet more night vision. New 14-inch wheels were used. The 300C had a low stance, unique grille, large windshield, front door vent windows, brake cooling ducts, and a red, white, and blue emblem with the 300C logo on the quarter panel. Twin backup lights were perched above large tail lamps. Tail fins - or rear stabilizers, as Chrysler called them - reportedly increased stability at high speeds, resulting in 20% fewer steering corrections in cross-winds. This example maintains a classy look with White exterior and Tan interior with White top. With just 73,564 actual miles (verified on the title), this car would make a great addition to any collection. Options include: AM radio, convertible top, white wall tires, hub caps, bias ply tires, leather interior, power steering, power windows, and power seats (needs switch). Don't wait any longer for this extremely collectible car! Located in our Tampa Showroom, this 1957 Chrysler 300C for sale can be seen in greater detail including HD pictures and video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com, or call 813-645-6200 for additional information.

1963 Ford Galaxie

1963 Ford Galaxie

Engine: 390 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 2,000 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is proud to offer this gorgeous metallic ruby 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 for sale. Bathed in a lustrous, glowing House of Kolors red that seems to change colors from every angle, it literally looks like a metallic ruby when viewed in the sunlight. The exterior chrome trim around the windows is in excellent shape, and the rest of the chrome trim looks good, too. Open the hood, and you'll note that the engine bay is finished in the same red and is loaded with chrome. From the hood hinges, to the radiator reservoir, alternator, power brake booster and master cylinder, valve covers and air cleaner, this baby sparkles. The big 390 CID V8 lurks menacingly in its lair - fitted with coated Hedman headers and topped with an aluminum Edelbrock manifold and Edelbrock 4BBL carb, you know this is no mild grocery getter's mill. With only about 2000 miles on the engine since it was rebuilt, it's barely broken in. Backed by a Ford 3-speed automatic that sends the power to the 3.05:1 gearset in the Ford 9-inch rear, this is one sturdy and potent drivetrain. A massive aluminum radiator with twin electric pusher fans (aided by the factory fan) helps keep the big block cool while you're motoring around town. Moving to the inside, you'll notice the Vintage Ford-logoed AC, and some cool custom touches, like custom Mother of Pearl steering wheel and the Oyster shell-topped switchgear on the dash and radio's control knobs. A Sunpro gauge pack helps the driver monitor the powertrain's vitals, with the rest of the factory gauges intact, as well. The sweet champagne beige and oyster-colored synthetic leather seating is in great shape, and the carpet looks brand new. Settle into the driver's seat, fire it up, and listen to the baritone burble of the big 390 as it settles into a lopey idle, sending its exhaust out the big dual exhaust, its DynoMax mufflers both quieting and enhancing the muscle car sound. Pull the gear lever into drive and rumble off to your next horizon. If, during your motoring escapade you should choose to see what this baby will do, the power brakes have the added benefit of discs up front, complete with drilled rotors; so stopping happens much more quickly than it ever could've with the original brake setup. The aluminum American Racing 5-spoke wheels provide additional good looks, and better airflow to the brakes, too. Additional options on this 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 for sale include Air Conditioning, Aluminum Alloy wheels, AM Radio, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Synthetic Leather seating. 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle

1969 Chevrolet Chevelle

Engine: V8 Big Block
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 51,425 ( undocumented )

Gateway classic cars of Tampa is excited to have this 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle listed for sale. This green machine can be heard from blocks away with its set up under the hood. Some lucky Joe out there is going to really enjoy this Chevelle screaming down the streets of his or her hometown. The original 396 that came in this Chevelle has been pulled and replaced with a 454 Big block with solid lifter cams. The whole suspension raises when you put your foot down just a tad on the accelerator of this beast. The 4.10 rear end and 700R Auto transmission is helpful with the performance combination in this car. The car has a recent paint job and looks great with its green and black stripe scheme. The 1969 Chevelle was billed as "America's most popular mid-size car." They showed only minor changes for 1969, led by revised front-end styling. A single chrome bar connected quad headlights (which became a familiar Chevrolet trademark with its concurrent light duty pickup trucks) with a revised front grille, now cast in ABS plastic, and a slotted bumper held the parking lights. Taillight lenses were larger and more vertical, flowing into the quarter panels. Front vent windows (hardtop and convertibles only) began to fade away now that Astro Ventilation (first introduced on the 1966 Buick Riviera which was used a year earlier on the Camaro and Caprice) was sending outside air into several Chevelle models. The Chevelle lineup slimmed down to Nomad, 300 Deluxe/Greenbrier, Malibu/Concours, and Concours Estate series, and the base 300 series was history. No longer a series of its own, the SS 396 turned into a $347.60 option package for any two-door model. That meant not just a convertible, sport coupe, or pickup, but even the pillared coupe and sport coupe in the lower-rent 300 Deluxe series (except the base 300 Deluxe El Camino pickup). Fewer SS396-optioned 300 Deluxe coupes and sport coupes were built than their Malibu counterparts and they are solid gold for collectors. To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle, please visit GatewayClassicCars.com. 1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 84,777 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. This is an original, numbers matching 1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. This first-generation beauty was designed by Chevrolet to be built off the same platform as the Chevelle, which shows it's many similarities, but also introduced many of the luxury designs found in the Cadillac El Dorado. First designed in 1970, these were very well-optioned cars for this era. They did not stray away from the ideas that American cars, while being large and comfortable, should not be lacking in horsepower. This Monte Carlo is built with a 350-cubic inch engine, which is one of the most produced engines to date. The 1972 Monte Carlo was the final year for the first-generation design. In 1972, Chevrolet wanted to change the market position of the Monte Carlo to a personal luxury car, and the manual transmission was discontinued, to which the new car brochure simply stated, "Sorry, no four-on-the-floor." The transmission in this Monte Carlo is the 3-speed automatic. The exterior styling of this Monte is painted yellow. The exterior lines of the Monte Carlo are clean and noticeably uncluttered. Inside, you'll find the same. Simplicity and tranquility. The seats are designed like a good mattress. They leave you feeling comfortable and refreshed, whether you sit in them six minutes, or six hours. Springs and molded foam cushioning are carefully designed to support your back's natural weaknesses. Think of the instrument panel as something European. Where gauges and controls are highly accessible to both hand and eye. The wood grain pattern is Carpathian burled elm, specifically chosen to complement this Monte Carlo's black vinyl. Options include: AM/FM radio, power brakes, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior, radial tires, seat belts and rally wheels. In 1972, GM’s marketing campaign was, “Chevrolet: Building a Better Way to See the USA.” If you'd like a better way of seeing the USA, make this Monte yours with one phone call!!! This 1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo is for sale in our Orlando Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1965 Pontiac GTO

1965 Pontiac GTO

Engine: 389 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 17,987 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1965 Pontiac GTO for sale in our Orlando showroom. This Tri-Power 389 cid V-8 is mated to 4 speed manual transmission. This combination is the one you want and really puts the power to the pavement. This GTO looks like new in beautiful Red with Black vinyl interior. GTO’s are what legends are made of and when the Pontiac GTO was introduced to America in September 1963, it created an entirely new market segment that sparked a reaction throughout the auto industry. Today we know that reaction as the muscle-car era. By 1966, all the domestic automobile manufacturers had their response to the GTO. Some were good, some were hastily slapped together, and others missed the mark altogether. It could be argued that none of them possessed the combination of performance, style, image, and affordability of the GTO. Options include: AM/FM, cassette radio, power brakes, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior, radial tires, and aluminum wheels. This is the one you want to own. This 1965 Pontiac GTO is for sale in our Orlando Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1967 Plymouth Barracuda

1967 Plymouth Barracuda

Engine: 6 Cylinder
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 90,376 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Dallas Fort Worth showroom is a second generation Plymouth Barracuda from 1967. The second-generation Barracuda, still shared many components with the Valiant but was stylishly redesigned with model-specific sheet metal, and a convertible and hardtop coupe joining the original fastback offering. The new Barracuda was chiefly the work of John E. Herlitz and John Samsen, with Coke-bottle side contours and heavily revised front and rear ends. Design cues included a concave rear deck panel, wider wheel openings, curved side glass, and S-curved roof pillars on the hardtop. Some points of interest with the 1967 Cudas were that the front and rear bumpers were identical. They have the same license plate indent and mounting bracket. The rear portion of the roof on the fastback coupe was more streamlined, and the back glass, raked at a substantially horizontal angle, was much smaller compared with that of the previous model. Also, the use of chrome trim on the external sheet metal was more restrained. In 1967, while the 225 cu in (3.7 L) slant-6 was still the base engine, the V8 options ranged from the two- and four-barrel versions of the 273 cu in (4.5 L) to a seldom-ordered 383 cu in (6.3 L) "B" big-block, rated at 280 bhp (210 kW), the latter available only with the Formula S package. This Barracuda comes with a rebuilt 225 slant-6 and a 4 speed automatic transmission. To view the 1967 Plymouth Barracuda in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com.
