The exterior dark burgundy paint is in very good condition, and it blends extremely well with the tan interior. The restoration on the vehicle was completed in November of 2016 and tributes a classical 1923 T-Bucket. This bucket is in great running condition and ready for a new owner to take to a show or run down the roads. It has been garage kept and well cared for by it’s previous owners. Powering this beauty is a 350 motor with Weiand 144 Pro- Street Supercharger. The power house is paired to a TH350 automatic transmission. Keep the power under control is a set of new Tires the are mated to new 20″ American Racing Aluminum rims. Walking around the car you will find Custom airbrush work, body and frame, have been cleared. The true flame paint scheme is very sleek and shows very well. The car was previously used strictly as a show car and for parades. It has entered numerous car shows, placing in each and repeatedly taking home first place. Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this classic Rat Rod. Mickey Rat is not like any other T-Bucket out there. This car was built and designed by Detroit Speedcraft and is a completely engineered vehicle system that performs (ride, drive, steering, braking, etc.) very similar to a regular car! This vehicle was hand-made using almost ALL new parts, (with the exception of the rebuilt 700R4 transmission, Rebuilt Chevy 10-bolt, S-10 4x4 Rear End and the 40' Ford front axle beam) and is tig (heli-arc) welded. Not many in the industry does that for any car, but Detroit Speedcraft. This particular car, the Fat Rat, was engineered for MAXIMUM interior space and handling. The chassis is a bit longer than a standard Detroit Speedcraft kit and the body is MUCH Larger! It is stretched 10 inches longer than a Henry Ford T, (49" vs 59"), and 5 1/2 inches wider (42" vs 47 1/2"). There is a "speed blister" on the driver's side AND the passenger side for MAXIMUM foot space and comfort. In this T-Bucket, you sit IN the car, not on top of the car and the steering column comes out of the firewall at a proper angle, so the car feels comfortable and natural to drive. The seats? Not boards and foam, but rather, 2010 Camaro buckets that were custom fabricated by Wise Guy's Seating out of Indianapolis, IN. They were stripped, narrowed 6 inches, re-padded and re-stitched in gray leather. And they are COMFORTABLE! The power train was a new GM crate motor that Detroit Speedcraft massaged with and Edelbrock Air-Gap manifold, a Holley carb and a Comp Cams Mid Thumper cam. The engine has a nice "lope" to it. It is a Chevrolet 700R4 with a reversed, manual valve body. It is like having a stick shift, without having a clutch. A roll bar was also added for additional safety. Options include: Hub Caps, Leather Interior, and Seat Belts. The car is in EXCELLENT condition! It also "rolls through" Bob Seger's music video for the song "Detroit Made"! Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is the awesome 1923 Ford T-Bucket Roadster. The T-bucket is a classical piece of American muscle that many have grown to love. This T-Bucket is powered by an exciting 327 CID V8 that came from a ’66 Chevy. This strong running engine is paired to a 350 Turbo transmission with a B&M shift kit that makes for a great cruiser. As the power is being transmitted through to the rear wheels it is linked up to a ’68 Nova rear end with a set of 3.08 gears. This T-bucket is said to have only 3 owners and was built back in the mid 80’s being well taken care of through the years. The rear shocks, and headers were recently replaced to keep this car riding and sounding great. The car comes with plenty of stopping power with the Willwood disk brakes as well. The exterior is a beautiful Navajo white that really sets it apart from the others. The engine has been coated to match the body. The car also features some custom pin striping and wood trim to make it worthy of a local car show. Moving to the interior you will find it is very classical in appearance with a green and brown combo. The make the car even more unique it features the vertical steering column which is something you don’t see in todays cars. For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a Chevrolet powered 1927 Ford T-Bucket Roadster. The 302 CID Chevrolet engine that powers this T-Bucket has a Weiand 144 blower, forged internals, ported and polished heads, Lunati valve train, and runs on 13 to 1 compression. A Shotgun Bill scoop sits on top of the engine creating a menacing look and also feeds the Edelbrock 850 CFM carburetor the necessary air it needs to do its job. This all amounts to a whopping 510 horsepower! The TH350 automatic transmission has a stage 2 shift kit and a 3200-3500 stall converter to help transfer the power to the built Chrysler 8 ¾ rear end with Auburn Posi-Traction and 3.73 gears. The PPG black paint is accented nicely with the red vinyl interior. A door on the passenger side allows for an easier entry and exit of the tub. This T sits on Weld Racing Rodlite wheels with some big fat bias-ply Mickey Thompsons on the back, and smaller Nexen radials up front. Disc brakes adorn all for corners, and coil over shocks are in the rear to provide as nice a ride as possible for this T-Bucket. The odometer reads 645, which represents the mileage put on the car since the build was complete approximately 14 years ago. Options for this 1927 Ford T-Bucket Roadster include: Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, Bias-Ply Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. T-Buckets have been a go-to for hot rodders for many many years. They are relatively easy to build, they can be amazingly fast, and the customization possibilities are endless. The Synergy Green Metallic paint finish shines, while accented by a chrome engine bay and headers. This Ford has been put together with great care and performance in mind. The entire drive train on this T Bucket is powered by Ford. Powering this ’27 Ford is a 289cid Ford engine, rebuilt 030 over with 302 heads. The engine also has an Edelbrock intake and Edelbrock carburetor, as well as a Crane camshaft. This motor is mated to a smooth-shifting C5 Ford transmission. The driveshaft is a shortened 1992 mustang driveshaft. Backing up all of this is a 1989 Ford Ranger 10 bolt rear end with a 3.73 gear ratio. This T Bucket stops on a dime thanks to the 1976 Dodge Aspen rotors with 1979 GM Metric calipers. The fiberglass body on this car looks fantastic. The paint really pops in the pictures and only gets better in person. All of the chrome on this T Bucket shines and brings everything together very well. The car sits on 5.5” x 15” front wheels and 8.5” x 15” rear wheels. The frame on this Ford is 2x3, .125 wall tubing. The car also has Qal coil overs in the rear. T Buckets are gaining popularity and are loads of fun. This one is no exception. You will not be disappointed in the way this Ford drives.
