For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is an all steel 1918 Oakland Roaster. This Oakland is finished in a beautiful Blue Metallic exterior paint that is matched wonderfully with blue vinyl upholstery and blue carpet in the cab. Powering this unique Oakland is a 400 CID Pontiac V8 engine with a 4 BBL Edelbrock carburetor, an aluminum intake, polished aluminum valve covers, chrome Summit air cleaner, and chrome alternator. An aluminum radiator with an electric fan keeps this Pontiac V8 cool on hot summer nights while out cruising stop light to stop light. A 4-speed automatic transmission with a skull shift handle transfers the power to the 10-bolt Posi-Traction rear end. McCabe headers flow to Borla resonators that give you excellent performance and a nice exhaust note, unlike most annoyingly loud T-Bucket builds. The polished aluminum/alloy 15 inch American Racing Torquethrust wheels provide an great look and stance to the build. The odometer reads 1,304, but the actual mileage of the build is unknown. This 1923 Ford T-Bucket is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The T bucket was made out of necessity with the supply of Model T’s dwindling hot rodders had to do something. In 1957 their call was answered by Diablo Speed shop in Northern California. With only 3 built before closing the doors one was purchased by hotrod builder Buzz Pitzen. He completed the build and credited for the first fiberglass T bucket. This example has that classic look while the attention detail really sitting this build apart. The red paint is vibrant and slick with no pinstriping it can be left alone or used an open canvas, so your guy can do his thing. The frame was painted in the same red making the transition from the 2 almost seamless. The classic chromed front end came from speedway one of the most well-known brands in the business. The engine is a small block 350 with the tunnel ram which has a set of dual quads feeding this monster the fuel it needs. The B&M TH350 transmission easily handles the power from that small block shifting through the gears with no hesitation. Power is put to the ground courtesy of a Ford 9 inch turning those monster 33x22 tires that have been mounted on a 15” wheel giving it that true Hotrod look. The 4 link helps to keep the back wheels on the ground while giving this 23 T bucket a rather plush ride. Powering this beastly machine is a massive 468 CID V8 which is paired to a TH-400 transmission. This strong motor is putting out approximately 800 horsepower on racing fuel of course. This 1927 Ford Roadster is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. This one off custom built roadster is a fire breathing asphalt shredding piece of art. The poliform 27 Ford body has had support pieces of metal throughout for a better fit and durability. The Aluminum hood was hand built with the vents in the side being precision cut and man does it look good. The steel running boards are sturdy enough to step on but why take a chance of messing up that beautiful paint. Sitting on a TCI engineering tube chassis the car is about as custom as they get. The narrowed 9 inch has a set of summer brothers axles and a 3.50:1 gear perfect for all around cruising. The JFZ disc brake setup on all 4 corners brings this monster to a crawl quickly. The paint on the 27 looks like glass with multiple coats of clear applied it almost like looking in a mirror. The red hand striped flames help to add some old school flavor and are almost a requirement on any hotrod with a blower sticking through the hood. That 6-71 Hampton Blower and manifold sits on top of the 355 small block that has been filled with forged parts. The Chet Herbert custom cam was made just for this beast with the gear drive being essential on an engine setup like this. The TH400 transmission handles the power nicely with them manual valve body allowing for crisp shifts when you feel necessary. This 1927 Chevrolet Capitol Cabriolet is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. 1927 was a pivotal year for the auto industry. Henry would bring out his Model A which was an evolution of the Model T. The Chevrolet capitol would be the first real competition for Ford making this a do or die move. Priced right inline with the Model A the Capitol would steal a pretty good piece of the market from ole Henry. This example has been restored to what you would expect to see back in the 20’s. The green paint looks good with the black accenting it perfectly. The rims are correct and with the tires being tall and skinny which was due to the roads not being paved. There is even a spare tire on the back just in case you don’t have AAA. Under the hood is the 4 cylinder that really brought Chevrolet into the main stream. The 171 CID inline 4 produced a little less than 30 HP. The 3 speed Manual Transmission shifts like it should making these cars a little challenging but extremely fun to drive. The top is in great condition but is most likely going to be used on a slim occasion. This car is made for those sunny days with the top a just in case thing. Kind of like that hand powered wiper, I don’t think I would want to be caught out with that thing. The bench seat is vinyl allowing for easy cleaning while being extra durable. Power comes from the sought after and reliable GM crate ZZ4 350 HP small block 350 with aluminum cylinder heads. Adding some flare to the exposed engine bay is a Cadillac air cleaner and a chrome alternator. Power is sent through a TH 350 automatic and back to a Ford 9 inch rear end housing a set of highway gears. The 2.55:1 rear gears are also Powertrax no slip allowing you to really put the power to the ground. When driving this beautiful Roadster, you may notice a matching trailer in your rear view mirror. That’s right a matching trailer comes with the sale and is perfect for hauling items to the local cruise in or car show. The fiberglass body has a complete molded floor pan and is attached to a custom frame. The windshield is a Duvall type and has a very unique look to it. Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this beautiful and totally one of a kind, hand built 1932 Ford Roadster. Professionally appraised at over $120,000, this gorgeous build is jaw dropping from top to bottom, front to back. Powering this masterpiece is a 1 of 7 pre-production, 525hp, 392 CID V8 Hemi from Mopar Performance. Featuring forged pistons and rods, 278/285 hydraulic roller cam and CNC ported aluminum twin plug heads. It has EFI, 80mm throttle body, custom Detroit Muscle headers and a stainless Flowmaster exhaust/muffler system. Transferring this power to the rear wheels is a Chrysler 518 transmission built by Godfather Racing and a custom Detroit Muscle driveshaft. This is an all steel roadster from Hot Rods & Horsepower in MI (Dearborn Duce). You will notice the steel hood, ’32 Grille and stowaway convertible top. The bodywork and DuPont Hot Rod Black paint was completed by Shadowoods in MI and graphics done by Dennis Shephard. Gauges were done by SO-CAL Speed Shop in Pomona and Moon Equipment in Santa Fe Springs. Seats were done by Roadster Shop in IL and Willy’s Workshop completed the upholstery. It is finished in Pendleton Del Rio wool Indian blanket, python skin & camel wool highlights. The carpet is also wool. This was the Detroit Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau “Flagship Promotional Vehicle” commissioned to showcase Detroit’s automotive heritage. Designed by Chris Baum, the D-Rod, was built by Rick Dyer at Detroit Muscle with input from Ford, Chrysler and GM Executives. Chrysler provided a pre-production 392 CID V8, 525hp Hemi crate engine that was first shown at SEMA. Chrysler had Arrow Racing Engines release one of the first hand-built development engines for the D-Rod build. The transmission is a 4-speed Chrysler 518 automatic. The build also used a vast ’32 Roadster aftermarket to create a high-performance vehicle that is truly a unique ’32 Ford Roadster. Dearborn Duce proved an all-steel ’32 body with a disappearing top assembly. We are happy to offer at our Saint Louis Gateway Classic Cars Showroom this triple red 1932 Ford Roadster. The red Wescott body was completely stripped down and repainted in 2004. The underside of the rear quarter panels were Rhino lined to protect the body while driving down the road. Custom pin-stripping runs throughout the car, along the side, on the trunk lid, and on the dash to help make it stand out amongst the crowd. The red vinyl interior was also replaced in the mid 2000’s and shows very well, with minimal signs of wear. Capping off the red on red on red appearance is the red cloth top that is in very good condition. A Hagan steel hood covers the 302 CID V8 that powers this 32’ Ford down the road. The 302 V8 features a full roller block, E-303 cam, Edelbrock aluminum heads, aluminum valve covers, and a Holley carburetor. Headers flow to the true dual exhaust that dump out the side in front of the rear tires and provide a great sound. An automatic transmission with overdrive and a shift kit transfers the power to the Ford 9” that houses 3.55 gears. The Wescott body sits on a TCI boxed frame. A 2” dropped chrome axle and rack and pinion steering is up front while a 4-link suspension setup is out back. In the trunk you will find the Pioneer AM/FM radio with CD player, which you can control from the driver’s seat via remote control. The odometer reads 22,602, the actual mileage is unknown, and just 2,000 miles have been put on the car in the last 14 years. Up for sale now in our Houston Showroom is this very clean 1932 Ford Roadster, and it’s itching for a new home. The ’32 Ford is also known as the “Deuce Coupe” and is a highly sought out hot rod that provided plenty of “get up and go” for almost any car guy, or gal. This Deuce Coupe features a 350 CID “Highboy V8 Crate” engine which only has 755 miles on it since the rebuild, it is accompanied by a 700R4 automatic transmission. It also has a solid Ford 9” rear end to make for a nice little package. The Walker steel radiator and electric fan keeps it running cool. The front disk brakes with drum brakes in the rear provide plenty of stopping power for this roadster. If you notice, the car also has independent front suspension to provide a smooth ride along with rack and pinion steering. Aluminum Budnik Ion wheels have been placed on this beauty to give it that nice curb appeal, and feature some 15X7 P195/60/R15 87T Toyo Spectrum tires on the front with 15X8 P225/70/R15 100T Mastercraft Avenger GT tires on the rear. Professionally built with no expense sparred, this immaculate LS1 powered cabriolet has just over 1,000 miles on the build!It’s 1934, Near their hide-out in Black Lake, Louisiana, FBI men ambush bank robbers on May 23rd Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow and fire, killing them, The Loch Ness Monster is spotted on January 14th for the first time, and this cool Resto-Mod 1934 Ford Roadster rolls into showrooms for the first time. Since then this all steel 1934 Roadster has undergone a complete Resto-Mod. Including the LS1 motor and transmission, Vintage heat and A/C, independent front suspension, CD player, Rack and Pinion Power Steering, Power Brakes, disc brakes in the front, leather interior, rumble seat. The 1934 Ford (the Model 40B) was not as substantial a model year change as the previous two years had been. Noticeable changes included a flatter grille with a wider surround and fewer bars, straight hood louvers, two handles on each side of the hood, smaller head lights and cowl lamps, and a reworked logo. The bare metal dash insert was replaced by painted steel. V 8 output was again increased, this time to 85 HP, and the four-cylinder Model B engine was in its last year, as was the Victoria body style; nevertheless, there were fourteen body options, the Tudor being top-seller. The standard three window coupe was deleted. Deluxes had pinstriping, again twin (chromed) horns, and twin back lights. Inside, they got more elaborate wood graining. The 1934 Ford V-8 is infamous as being the vehicle in which the notorious Depression-era bandits Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were ambushed and killed. On May 23, 1934, the two outlaws were traveling in a stolen 1934 Ford sedan in Bienville Parish, Louisiana, when a heavily armed law enforcement posse opened fire and riddled their car with bullets and buckshot. For sale in our Detroit Showroom is this very unique 1938 American Bantam Roadster. American Austin Car Company was founded in 1929, in Butler, Pennsylvania, in premises that had belonged to the Standard Steel Car Company. Their intention was to assemble and sell in the United States a version of the Austin 7 car, called American Austin. After some initial success the Great Depression set in, and sales fell off to the point that production was suspended. In 1934 the company filed for bankruptcy. In 1935, Roy Evans, a former salesman for Austin, bought out the bankrupt company, which was reorganized under the name American Bantam. Production was resumed in 1937, and continued through 1941. Despite a wide range of Bantam body styles, ranging from light trucks to woodie station wagons, only about 6,000 Bantams of all types were produced. This 1938 Bantam is a restored roadster that is in great overall condition. The 50 cubic inch four cylinder engine is a correct engine but not the original to the car, it makes 22 horsepower and is really fun to drive being mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. The red exterior is in very good condition and looks great with the black canvas convertible top and is a perfect match to the two-tone red vinyl interior.
