Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer a one-of-a-kind and super rare 1946 Dodge Power Wagon! The famous Dodge Power-Wagon was a civilian adaptation of a four-wheel drive, 3/4-ton military vehicle which Dodge built in great numbers during World War II. The civilian version, which was first offered in 1946, was rated as a one-ton but was capable of carrying a 3000 pound payload in off-highway service. Dodge engineered the Power-Wagon to be a self-propelled powerplant, and it was capable of a wide range of industrial and agricultural applications. A transmission power-take-off was available (present here) for driving various items of auxiliary equipment. Our example features a PTO driven winch that looks like it could pull a mountain! There is no better color combination than the Military Green and Black which really give an appeal you can only find on a Power Wagon. With only 2,000 miles on this fresh restoration, this 230cid I-6 can perform to its full potential no matter how you plan on using it. These Power Wagon’s are not something you usually see on the road but if you dare, this one is road ready and can be driven in a parade or to a local show. It may take you a little longer than expected, but this Power Wagon will get you their safely and plow thru anything in its way. The only way to get an idea of how big this truck is would be to come gaze at it in person at our Detroit showroom located at 15000 Commerce Dr N in Dearborn Michigan. You can check out over 125HD photos on GatewayClassicCars.com or call to speak with one of our friendly and knowledgeable sales staff at 313-982-3100. For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1967 Dodge Power Wagon need I say more? I guess I do. OK, open up Webster’s dictionary flip to the T’s, beside the word truck, that what a power wagon looks like. Riding on 20” rims and massive 11.00.20 tires (about 4 feet tall) this is a TRUCK. When it comes to power plants what would you put under the hood of this 67 Power Wagon for sale? Hemi? Sure, if you can find one, cheap enough. Or Big Block Chevy, yea, four hundred fifty four cubic inches of torque and power. This 454 CID RAT motor is packed with all the right goodies like a high lift roller cam, high rise intake and Holley® double pumping four barrel carburetor. This combination is said to produce over 400 horsepower,,,,you think! I think this combo is packing enough power to pull a house off it’s foundation, ok maybe it’s a small house. Backing this raunchy Rat is a turbo 400 that was rebuilt the same time as the engine, just about four years ago. The body was worked primed and painted the same time and the chassis was covered in black making this Power Wagon for sale looking fresh and new, but you know all this you just looked through all the photos. Just getting in to the driver’s seat of this truck your biceps will grow 3 inches, mainly of course because of the lack of power steering, but who needs power steering with all the power under the hood. This is a man’s truck so if you like plowing through mud or climbing over rock wall or just driving over the slower traffic in front of you (the last one not recommended) this is the truck for you. Options for this Power Wagon for sale include: Seat belts, and vinyl interior, Massive tires and Horsepower, what else do you need?!?
