Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this awesome 1953 Ford F100. This ‘53 Ford F100 is the one you have been waiting for. Too often you see cars and trucks that have been personalized past the point of no return. Fortunately, that is not the case with this truck. Looking at this beautiful fire engine red truck is like an artist looking at an open idea. You can leave it the way it is and have loads of fun, or modify it to your liking. The overall stock look is very appealing with the bright red paint and black running boards. The simplistic chrome “dog dish” hub caps and painted steel wheels takes you down memory lane. There is just enough chrome displayed to add to the look, but not take away from the nostalgic feel. You don’t run into these 1953 Ford F100’s in this type of shape often. The simple basic feel carries right over into the light brown vinyl bench seat interior. This truck makes you want to hop in, drive to a huge open field, and sip a tall glass of lemonade. With only a few knobs and switches on the inside, the bright chrome gauge cluster captures your eyes showing speedometer, oil pressure, volts, water temp, and fuel. Powering this classic F100 is a Ford 289 “Y” block mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. Adding to the vintage package is the fact that it is “three on the tree.” It doesn’t get much better than this when it comes to a pure throwback classic. If it’s too tame for you, let your imagination run wild. The best thing about this 1953 Ford F100 is the fact you know exactly what you’re dealing with. Options include Spare Tire, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and a Wood Slat truck bed. Don’t miss your opportunity to take a trip down memory lane. There is still plenty of country roads out there to explore and car shows to pull up to. Engine: 350 CID V8Transmission: 350 TurboMileage: 15,000 ( since rebuilt )
This awesome 1953 Ford F100 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The F series truck has been one of the most iconic American vehicles ever built. If you want to get technical about it the introduction of the F-100 in 1953 is really the ones that put an exclamation point on that statement. Designed with the consumer in mind the cab now had a full 5 ft of space. The wrap around windshield not only looked great but gave the driver a better unobstructed view. Over the years these trucks have lent themselves to customizers making for a great canvas to add their personal touches to. This example has had extensive work performed transforming it into the custom you see today. The most notable of this work ahs to be the paint. Using a house of color pearl white for the base the paint is slick and show worthy. The flake adds to the custom look and is what you would see on show trucks of the late 60’s. The airbrushed design is reminiscent of Larry Watson’s style and is as custom as they come. Under the hood is a small block 350 that was purchased new when the truck was built. The chrome dress-up kit looks great with the chrome valve covers going nicely with the air cleaner. Bought new with the engine the TH350 transmission shifts out nicely with smooth shifts through all 3 gears. The belly burner exhaust is unique and something that was done back in the late 60’ and early 70’s keeping with that classic custom theme. The running boards have been done in vinyl and match the exterior styling which has been carried on to the inside. The bench seat has been covered in that same vinyl along with the door panels which ties the whole truck together. If you have been looking for a truck that appears to be straight out of the 60’s this one off custom has your name all over it. Options on this custom 1953 Ford F100 include Vinyl Interior, and White Wall Bias Ply Tires on Chrome Wheels. Located in our Louisville Showroom, this one off 1953 Ford F100 can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and videos at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is an awesome “Big Window” 1956 Ford F100. This big window Ford is finished in a beautiful shade of Ruby Red paint that features a bit of metallic flake and creates gorgeous shimmer in the sunlight. Powering this classic F100 is a 292 CID Y Block V8 engine, that is very similar to what would have been in the truck when it was bought new in 1956. Upgrades to the 292 V8 include headers, a Holley carburetor, and a chrome air cleaner. A 3-Speed manual transmission transfers the power to the rear end via column shift, yup a true “3 on the tree” just like it was meant to be. The lowered stance is achieved by new leaf springs that have been lowered 3” and the new aluminum/alloy wheels, and radial tires. A new solid Oak floor in the bed provides a nice contrast to the Ruby Red paint and an overall awesome look to the truck. New Chrome bumpers shine proudly in the front and rear, while the new dual exhaust provides a nice sound to the 292 Y Block. The interior has been kept basic, with new vinyl upholstery on the bench seat and new carpet on the floor. Ford Panel Truck for sale right now in our Arizona showroom. These trucks are known by those who grew up with them as the backbone of the post-war American economy and now a lot of them are living on as hot rods. Our Panel Truck has been with the same owner for the last 30 years and has a restoration story of its own behind it. It was found by the owner in the Phoenix, Arizona area and was married to a 1975 Dodge Aspen; the 318 CID V8 from the Dodge was resealed along with the 3-speed automatic transmission. The torsion bar suspension from the Dodge fits perfectly under the chassis on 1953-56 Panel Trucks so this otherwise bloated truck rides much more like a car now too! This Panel looks mean in its jet-black paintjob and the business look continues inside with black and gray vinyl seats and a black plastic center console with cupholders. This truck comes with all-important Vintage Air! The gauges are surrounded by tasteful chrome and really look the part in this retro-modern build while the steering wheel from a Ford commercial vehicle adds a thoughtful touch. The windows on this truck have been tinted and it also has all-new weather-stripping. Other options on this 1956 Ford Panel Truck for sale include Power Steering, Power Brakes, a Tilt Wheel, Power Windows, Power Seats, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires and Air Conditioning. Now for sale in the beautiful Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is this awesome 1956 Ford F-100. The truck is powered by a strong and very fresh 351 CID V8 Windsor engine and a 3-speed FMX transmission. Both the engine and transmission have been rebuilt within 5,000 miles and the truck was finished in a gorgeous R-M Diamond base coat and clear coat in Guards Red. It features an 8.8 Mustang rear end with a really nice and well balanced 3.73 gear ratio. The actual miles are unknown, but the odometer shows only 7,285 and it was rebuilt less than 5,000 miles ago. Inside the cabin you will find a finely put together leather interior and features like ice cold A/C, AM/FM radio, CD player, tilt wheel and seat belts. Outside you will like the alloy rally wheels with radial tires. Power brakes and power steering have been added also to make this truck even easier to drive. The Ford F-series has been massively successful for the company. Since 1981 it has been the best-selling vehicle in America and the best-selling truck since 1977! We have been on the thirteenth generation of F-Series since 2015 but this is the second generation of the trucks. The second-generation F-Series made its debut in 1953. It featured increased dimensions, improved engines and an updated chassis. This was also the start of a new naming scheme that paved the way for the trucks. The F-1 was changed to F-100, F-2 and F-3 was combined to become F-250 and the F4- was named the F350. The F-100 was significantly changed in the 1957 and lost some of it’s beautiful lines and curves present on this one. This was the final year of the second generation and therefore it is a very desirable year. Some of these trucks fetch close to $100,000 so it isn’t hard to see that this one is a fantastic deal. Engine: 1990 5.0L HO V8Transmission: AutomaticMileage: 11,831 ( undocumented )
Fuel injected high output 5.0L V8 and automatic overdrive put this F100 head and shoulders above the rest! Now featured in our Denver showroom is this wildly custom Ford pickup that is sure to turn heads and burn tires. Approximately 5 years ago this pickup was taken down to the frame and completely gone through to make it much more fun and reliable that it was when it came out of the factory in 1963. The front suspension was pulled out of a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am and provides a much sportier feel. Power disc brakes were added to the front for much better stopping power and power steering makes cornering simple. The 5.0L V8 was pulled from a 1990 Ford Mustang and only had roughly 10,000 miles on it when it was put in and currently has approximately 20,000 miles. Putting the power to the ground is a Ford 9” rear end that has a reputation of holding up to whatever can be thrown at it. As you drive this truck around, it is easy to forget you’re in a truck until you look in your mirrors. The ride is excellent and handles very well. The automatic overdrive transmission keeps the RPM’s down while cruising and eases the pain on the wallet when you get to the pump. This truck is not just performance oriented though, as you drive it around the creature comforts incorporated including leather interior, an upgraded AM/FM stereo, power windows, and air conditioning for the hot days. The body has also had custom work done to it including frenched taillights, power antenna sunk into the corners of the cab, and custom front fenders with a surprise in the scoops. As you pull into the car show, flip the switch under the dash and turn on the strobe lights hidden in the ports on the fenders! This truck turns a lot of heads and is a blast to cruise. If you are looking for a classic pickup and would prefer something custom and more reliable this may be the perfect one for you! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. Engine: 302 CID V8Transmission: 4 Speed AutomaticMileage: 2,834 ( since rebuilt )
You are going to have to look far and wide to find a classic pickup that is in better shape inside and out than this 1964 Ford F-100! No expense was spared when the restoration of this pickup was performed! Starting in July of 2013 and coming to completion during August of the following year this frame off restoration left no bolt or nut untouched. No matter what angle you approach this beauty from the professionally sprayed indigo blue paint job is sure to knock your socks off. When you look closer at the detail that was given to the body work and custom paint you’ll notice very nice touches such as subtle red, white and blue pinstriping that dresses both the driver’s and passenger’s sides. Don’t let the numerous car show awards fool you into thinking this pickup is a trailered show queen, in fact it is far from it. When the owners of this fine piece of machinery started out on the build they wanted something they could take to car shows and be very proud of but also take on a road trip and never have to worry about reliability. Raising the hood reveals a very well dressed 302 cubic inch crate engine that punches out an advertised 350 horsepower! Helping produce all that power while keeping with the reliability of the powertrain is the MSD ignition, Quick fuel carburetor and also a Speedway aluminum radiator. When mated to the 3-speed automatic transmission with overdrive it makes for a very potent package that will tear up the streets but also have tame rpm’s at highway speeds. If you are lucky enough to sit behind the steering wheel of this street machine your rear end will be treated to the comfort of the like new luxurious brown leather seats that have matching custom door panels. Looking back at the driver is a set of new vintage style gauges that help monitor all of the vitals of this machine. A huge part that helps this pickup steer and ride better than most others on the road today is the Mustang II front suspension complete with rack and pinion. The stopping power is aided by a set of front disc brakes. Rounding out the great custom but classic looks of the pickup is the set of 18” American Racing wheels at each corner of the pickup that are wrapped in 235/55R18 radial tires. In the market for a fully restored classic short bed pickup truck? You definitely need to take a closer look at this very well done 1971 Ford F-100! Starting off its life here in Colorado this truck was loved and cared for over many years, and once the current owner got their hands on it, this truck received a complete frame-off restoration. The concept was to build a truck that would be able to do both long cruises while not becoming a boring daily driver. The drivetrain chosen for this truck was a stroked 351 Windsor that dyno’d around 450 horsepower and 500 ft/lbs. of torque! This powerhouse of an engine would surely be plenty to get this truck going in a hurry so to not lose the drivability that was desired, it was backed up by a Keisler 5-speed manual transmission with a hydraulic clutch giving you an overdrive gear and keeping the fun factor at an all time high. What good is all of this power though if the rear end of the truck cannot handle it? To make sure this wouldn’t be an issue the strong Ford 9” rear end was equipped with Moser 31-spline axles and a true track locking differential. This drivetrain overall will hold up well to the power that is being put out by the engine without sacrificing any reliability. Helping the truck to handle as well as they’d hope, the front end had a Rod & Custom Mustang II front suspension put underneath and the rear of the truck was lowered to give it that great rake. Power rack and pinion steering and power brakes allow excellent control of the truck and make it simple to take on long cruises. Also adding to the comfort is a set of modern F-150 bucket seats and a center council that not only fit great, but also are extraordinarily comfortable to ride in. The aftermarket AM/FM radio in the truck will allow you to listen to your favorite tunes throughout your drive. The body and paint on this truck are also very well done with a gorgeous blue paint that was laid over the top of the cleaned up body. All of the side moldings removed, seams welded and flushed, and the locking tailgate flushed really add to the clean look of this F-100. If you are looking for a truck that is going to be a great mix of performance and drivability, this is an excellent option!
