1966 Dodge Coronet

Engine: 426 CID HEMI V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 30000 ( since rebuilt )

IT'S A HEMI!!! Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to be able to offer this beautiful and powerful 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 426 Hemi! This is the car you want if you’re looking for comfort, style and big Hemi power. The Coronet reappeared for the 1965 model year as the intermediate sized B-body car using a 117 inche wheel base. When reintroduced in this 5th generation it was the biggest selling vehicle Dodge made that year! This is the 2-door hardtop version of the car which is one of the most desirable of the period. In 1966 Coronet received a redesign and you started to be able to get the 426 hemi as an option. The 440 Magnum that was in the R/T produced 375hp but the 426 Hemi pushed out a whopping 425hp! An incredible powerplant that has to be driven to truly appreciate. This is a numbers matching vehicle that even has the blue stripe tires that were only available from Mopar, only available for the Hemi and only available in 1966! Super rare stuff we are talking about here. This engine and transmission were rebuilt 27,000 miles ago when the car just went over 100,000 miles. The 426 Hemi goes through the factory automatic transmission and ends up at the 3.08 limited slip rear end. The exterior is a beautiful red color which looks excellent with the white vinyl interior. Features include an AM radio, spare tire, power brakes, power steering, jack and a spare tire. Rally whiles and the blue stripe bias ply tires really set the car off nicely. Don’t miss your opportunity to own this very rare and desirable piece of Mopar history. This Coronet is in our Houston showroom. Come by and see us at 1910 Cypress Station Dr #200, Houston, TX 77090. 1966 Dodge Coronet

Engine: 318 CID V8
Transmission: 727 Torque Flite
Mileage: 57958 ( undocumented )

This 1966 Dodge Coronet convertible is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Cornet was released in the 49 lines up as MOPAr5’s first postwar body style. It would go through many different renditions throughout its 30+ years but the most memorable has to be the 5th generation line up. This example was a frame off restoration with a build book that documents the progress. Taken down to bare metal and starting from there it was painted back to its original color. The convertible top was redone as well with the black vinyl still being in excellent condition. Hit the button and watch as the she folds down exposing that beautiful blue sky Under the hood is the original numbers matching 318 which was rebuilt during the build as well. The 727 had the same attention shown, gone through and built back to factory spec. The interior in the car was redone at the same time with the bench being covered in black vinyl which shows great on this car. The factory AC is a great touch and an option rarely seen on Mopar’s especially convertibles. The original hubcaps are a great touch and give it that original look with the newer style radial tires giving it a better feel of the road. If you have been wanting a droptop MOPAR that is original but won’t break the bank this Coronet is a great candidate. Options on this AC, AM Radio, Power Top, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Vinyl Interior, Hubcaps and Radial Tires. To view this 1966 Dodge Coronet, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Engine: 440 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 174 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Detroit showroom is this 1968 Dodge Coronet Superbee Tribute. The original Dodge Super Bee was based on the design of the Dodge Coronet, designed as a two-door coupe, and was produced from 1968 until 1970. It was the company's low-priced powerful muscle car, derived from the design of the Plymouth Road Runner, and retailed at $3,027 on the consumer market. The origin of the name, "Super Bee", has its basis in the "B" Body designation pertinent to Chrysler's mid-sized cars, including the Road Runner and Charger. There were several engine options for the Superbee and this particular 1968 was born with a 318 but now has the 440 cubic inch that was installed when restoring this Coronet into the Superbee Tribute. This 440 has a 7 qt. oil pan, steel crankshaft, and 906 heads and is mated to a 727 automatic transmission with a 2800 stahl backed by an open rear end with 3.23 gears and really makes the car a blast to drive. This Superbee Tribute has had many modifications over the last year having a new instrument panel, front seat covers, stereo system, floor mats, shift indicator, steering gear box, pitman arm, fuel sending unit, speedo cable, and horns and horn relay which has this Dodge looking and performing fantastic. This 1968 Superbee Tribute is one beautiful looking and great performing Mopar that is a lot of fun to drive. 1969 Dodge Coronet Super Bee

Engine: 440 V8 Six Pack
Transmission: 727 Torqueflite
Mileage: 43795 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1969 ½ Dodge A-12 M-code Super Bee. Let's start off by defining the word rare. Rare by definition means, “not found in large numbers” or, “unusually good or remarkable.” Well… RARE is the perfect word to explain this A12 M-code “Killer” Super Bee. With a full restoration performed less than six months ago, this Super Bee is turnkey and ready to go. You may ask yourself what is so unique about this 1969 ½ Dodge Super Bee. I’m glad you asked. An A12 M-code MoPar car drastically sets itself apart from the typical “Muscle Cars.” A12 M-code cars were like the Arnold Schwarzenegger of “Muscle Cars.” They were pure, pumped up, menacing, high-performance vehicles that swarmed at every opportunity to sting the competition that dared to get in its way. A12 cars were offered with a 440 cubic-inch monster motor, adorned with a “Six-Pack” (three two-barrel carburetors). M-code cars were a special order package that equipped these outstanding cars with a Dana 60 axle with 4:10 gear ratio, heavy-duty automatic and a “lift-off” flat black scooped hood. The A12 package did not stop there. It also includes heavy-duty internal engine parts, black steel rims with high-performance G-70 15 inch tires, and heavy-duty 11-inch drum brakes. This is a “Numbers Matching” 1969 ½ Dodge Super Bee with all the correct matching components an A12 M-code car is suppose to have as stated above. With only 45,000 documented miles this jewel is a superb investment. You can make this a centerpiece in your collection. There were only 1,487 Super Bee two-door Hardtops built in 1969 for the U.S. market with a 440 six-barrel 390 horsepower engine. Of those, 826 were built with a A833 4-speed manual transmission and 661 constructed with an A727 3-speed Torqueflite automatic transmission. This is one of the 661 A727 automatics. No one truly knows how many of these ultra-rare cars are still in existence, but we know not all of them made it this far. Some found their destiny with the “car crusher.” Others rotted away in fields, and some are still hiding behind barn doors. This Super Bee was found in Fort Morgan, Colorado like many other “Muscle Cars” sitting in a barn locked away from the public. The car is a true “Vitamin C” Orange code, offset by black vinyl bucket seat interior. Options include AM Radio, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, Posi Traction. This 1969 ½ Dodge A-12 M-code Super Bee is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information, please call our knowledgeable staff at (813)645-6200 or email us at Tampa@GatewayClassicCars.com. If you would like to see it in person, come to our Tampa Showroom, located at 351 30th Street NE, Ruskin, FL 33570. Hours: Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST.

1969 Dodge Coronet

Engine: 383 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 7368 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this muscular 1969 Dodge Coronet 440 two door hardtop. Since restoration, this MoPar has only been driven 2000 miles. Enough mileage to work out all of the bugs. The body has been re-painted a blistering shade of yellow. When you're in this car, you better like attention! The all-black vinyl interior is all business; no lumbar, heated seats, or any of the other options found on today's cars. It has A/C and an AM/FM radio to keep the passengers cool and singing their favorite tunes while power brakes and power steering make this Coronet more civilized to drive. Accessory gauges and a tachometer help the driver keep an eye on the car's vitals at all times. The aluminum wheels give it the old school vibe everybody's looking for. Under the hood is where this Dodge really shines! A 383 has been bored .040 over and has a parts list that looks like it came straight out of a Summit racing catalog. Headers, aluminum intake, Street Demon carb, stout camshaft, double roller timing chain, and more really get this big block car down the road. A modified 727 automatic transmission transmits all of those ponies to the 8 3/4 rear axle with a posi-traction unit and 3.23 cogs. A great combination for quick acceleration but easy highway cruising. Underneath this '69 you'll find all new suspension and steering components have been replaced, so that this Dodge rides and steers like it's 1969 again. This car stops reliably every time because it's got power front discs and 11" drums out back. it truly performs, runs, drives, steers, and stops like it did nearly 50 years ago. It's a really sweet ride from the boys at the Pentastar. Don't miss this one! She's ready to go; all it needs is a new owner that will appreciate its classic lines and its performance potential.
