1964 AC Cobra Replica

Engine: 351 Crate
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 309 ( undocumented )

Only 300 miles have been put on this immaculate Cobra replica meticulously built by a Unique Motorcars Dealer to their specifications. Unique Motorcars is a US company that started building the Cobra Replicas back in 1979 and have been refining their process ever since. The quality of their work clearly shows on this build. The 351 crate engine and top loader 4 speed manual transmission pair nicely together and provide ample amounts of power for a car as light as this fiberglass Cobra. The crate engine is rated at 425 horsepower and features a Holley four barrel carburetor, a Reed modified camshaft, ported and polished heads, and an MSD ignition. Keeping it planted is Heidt front suspension and a Jaguar independent rear suspension with adjustable coil overs on all four corners. When you put over 400 horsepower into something as performance oriented as this car, you need to make sure you can stop it in a hurry. Doing just that is a set of heavy duty disc brakes on all corners with the rear being in-board. Keeping it cool are two high flowing electric fans and a high flow water pump. This is Cobra is not just for going fast though, the British Racing green laid on top of the fiberglass body is show quality and contrasts nicely with the black leather interior and aluminum racing wheels. This Cobra is a car you can take to the track on Saturday morning and lay down some serious times, then head to the drive in that same night and show it off. Transmission: 5-Speed Manual
Mileage: 1072 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer this AC Cobra Replica, which is titled as a 2014 ASVE Cobra replica. The Shelby Cobra was such an iconic car that plenty of replica companies started reproducing them but they are not all created equal. No one will argue about the performance and build quality of this Everett-Morrison Cobra Replica. All Cobras are special beasts, but this build is a little more unique with its engine and drivetrain. Under the hood is a 460 CID Ford Racing crate motor V8 that rumbles to life and belts out a menacing note through the side pipes. This engine started as a 351 that was bored & stroked with high deck cylinder heads that gives it the 460 CID. The engine dyno’s at 600 HP & 575 foot-lbs of torque. The engine is backed by a five-speed Tremec 600 manual gearbox that leads into a 9-inch ford rear end. Since being built in 2014, this car has just 1,062 miles on it & one owner. To hammer the visual impact of this Cobra home, it is finished with a lustrous burgundy-and-gold paint job with classic cobra aluminum wheels. The car also features a 3790 Stainless alloy tubular frame giving it much more strength & rigidity in the car than most other replicas on the market. It also features 4-wheel independent suspension that gives it a seriously smooth ride compared to other replicas on the market. The car has a rare option for cobras in that is has air conditioning!! 1966 AC Cobra Replica

Engine: 408 V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 6519 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1966 Shelby Cobra Tribute. The classic car world is full of could’ve, would’ve, and should’ve which is why the replica market is so popular these days. The car that you had to have as a kid that is now worth millions of dollars can be yours for pennies on the dollar, and for many of us that car is a Shelby Cobra. This example is a 1966 Cobra replica that was manufactured by the Everett-Morrison company who have been building them since 1983.The fiberglass pieces are made from the original molds ensuring that almost identical look. Painted in a dark British racing green and a silver stripe down the middle this Cobra is guaranteed to stand out in the crowd. If that doesn’t get their attention the sound coming from the blacked-out side pipes will. The 408 Stroker motor has plenty of power yet is mild enough to be street driven without any headaches. The 4-speed top loader makes driving this car an absolute blast on those curvy back country roads especially with its fully independent suspension. This Cobra uses suspension components from a C4 Corvette turning what use to be a machete into a Samurai sword. Mounted on a set of aluminum wheels the 12” tires in the back assist in getting all that power to the ground. The interior of the car is clean and having a little more room than a lot of the ones I have been in. The black low back bucket seats are classic cobra design with the wooden steering wheel tying it all together. If you want a great replica that is guaranteed to turn heads and not cost a million bucks this green snake is perfect. Options on this 1966 Shelby Cobra Tribute include, Vinyl Interior, and Aluminum Wheels with Radial Tires. 1979 AC Cobra Replica

Engine: 302 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 360 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is excited to have a 1979 Kellison Stallion. The Stallion styled after the AC Cobra was a manufactured car and is not considered a “kit car”. This example number 2 of only 117 was built for Lynda Carter. It was known as the Wonder Woman Car. It is the only Stallion built without side pipes. Legend has it that this was to protect her million-dollar legs. Jim Kellison, who worked at Shelby, designed these cars and they were sold through select Lincoln and Rolls Royce dealers. The Stallion was designed with three key features in mind: safety, dependability and performance. The chassis, which is the foundation of any automobile, reflects these considerations in every detail. The basic chassis design has drawn heavily on the lessons learned in automobile racing by Jim Kellison, which explains the triangulated tubular steel space frame with a monocoque backbone - something normally found only in competition cars where maximum strength and torsional rigidity are achieved with a minimum of weight. The heart of the chassis is the backbone, which consists of a tubular subframe that supports a foam and steel "sandwich" - two sheets of 20-gauge sheet steel separated by an inch of structural foam. The backbone also insulates the cockpit against the noise and heat of the engine compartment. The backbone and the main rails are the foundation for the rest of the space frame, which provides the Stallion with outstanding crash resistance. Both the front and rear ends have been designed to absorb and dissipate the energy of 30 mph collision. Side penetration resistance is no less impressive: 3" by 4" extensions of the main rails support a network of steel tubing along the side of the cockpit. Each door has an internal framework of steel tubing and steel plates, to which the door hinges and latch mechanism are attached. The chassis was designed around Ford suspension components throughout. This eliminates the durability and service problems long associated with exotic sports cars. The front suspension used in the Stallion was developed by Ford from the experience they gained at Le Mans, Sebring, and Daytona with the GT-40 racing program. The rear end was developed to meet the needs of Grand National stock car racing, and is ideal for high performance applications. While the technical foundation of the Stallion is the heart of the automobile, it is the car's styling that captures the eye. Although the Stallion resembles the AC Cobra, it is neither a copy or a replica. The original Stallion body was basically a full-scale sculpture, built by hand over the prototype chassis and it was from this prototype that the body mold was made. Fundamentally longer and wider than the original, the Stallion also differs in a host of other areas. As far as styling is concerned, the Stallion has the same relationship with the Cobra that the Cobra has with the AC Bristol; similar in appearance, but differing in all other aspects. In this respect, the Stallion follows the traditional pattern of the limited production sports car - each succeeding automobile evolved from the ones preceding, incorporating engineering advances as they occurred while retaining the basic design. The Stallion has drawn on 30 years of automotive racing and technological advances and integrated them into a totally new modern sports car with a body style that harkens back to the early sixties. The Stallion built by the Kellison firm for Ron Samuels and Lynda Carter is a unique, one-of-a-kind, hand-built automobile. To view this 1979 Kellison Stallion in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ.
