1955 Chrysler C300

1955 Chrysler C300

Engine: 331 Hemi
Transmission: Power Flite 2 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 12,338 ( undocumented )

The very same day that West Germany became a sovereign state on May 5th, 1955, this Chrysler C300 was just leaving the assembly line to get shipped out. 62 years later and transferred hands from the original family once 30 years ago, this is one of the best kept C300 still roaming the streets. This car has spent its entire life here in Denver area and, when purchased by the current owner, the car underwent an extensive restoration including professionally rebuilding the original engine and 7 clutch transmission, correcting any blemishes in the body, reupholstering the interior, and going through all other mechanical components. The original 331 Hemi was rebuilt by a reputable local shop in the Denver area and all parts for the build were supplied by Hot Heads in North Carolina. It has solid lifters giving it a distinctive high performance sound and is also equipped with stainless steel valves and a double roller camshaft drive. The engine was completely balanced and is running at 9.5:1 compression to run regular unleaded fuel. The body was completely stripped down and was thoroughly looked over for any issues. Anything found was meticulously fixed correctly and then had a complete single stage Deltron black paint job lain on top. To contrast the sheen black paint, the bumpers were rechromed to really set the car off. The wire wheels on the car were original to it and were wrapped in new Diamond back wide white wall radial tires. The interior was professionally reupholstered using a Goers kit that is an exact copy of the original tan cowhide. The new interior included the seats, door panels, carpet, and the trunk. The owner of this car refers to it as a “drive anywhere” car and does not worry no matter where the car show may be located. This is a car you can be certain will turn head no matter where you go and will win awards when entered. If you have had your eye out for a Chrysler C300 like this, you won’t find another one quite like this. Options on this car include: Power brakes, power steering, AM radio, wire wheels, seat belts, and leather interior. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1955 Chrysler C300 in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. 1957 Chrysler 300 C

1957 Chrysler 300 C

Engine: 392 CID V8 HEMI
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 73,564 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this awesome 1957 Chrysler 300C convertible. Only 484 Convertible 300C Chryslers were made in 1957 and it is said that less than 50 are all that's left in running order! Sporting dual four barrel carburetors with NASCAR inspired dual air filters, this badboy was rated at 375 horsepower and 420 lbs of torque that topped out at 145+ miles per hour in the “Two Way Flying Mile.” The Chrysler 300 "letter series" were high-performance luxury cars built in very limited numbers by the Chrysler Corporation in the U.S. from 1955–1965. Each year's model used a new letter of the alphabet as a suffix (skipping "i"), reaching 300L by 1965, after which the model was dropped. 1957 was the first year a convertible was offered in the 300 series and was the pinnacle of performance and luxury. The Hemi head engine was backed by a 3 speed Torqueflite A488 automatic transmission which is great for cruising speeds, and really set the interior apart with its push button operation. Unlike later Chryslers, the 300C was built using body-on-frame construction; that would last through 1959. The 300C was based on the Chrysler New Yorker, with many changes that was more than just options and appearance. The height was just 54.7 inches; new dual headlights provided a claimed 75 feet more night vision. New 14-inch wheels were used. The 300C had a low stance, unique grille, large windshield, front door vent windows, brake cooling ducts, and a red, white, and blue emblem with the 300C logo on the quarter panel. Twin backup lights were perched above large tail lamps. Tail fins - or rear stabilizers, as Chrysler called them - reportedly increased stability at high speeds, resulting in 20% fewer steering corrections in cross-winds. This example maintains a classy look with White exterior and Tan interior with White top. With just 73,564 actual miles (verified on the title), this car would make a great addition to any collection. Options include: AM radio, convertible top, white wall tires, hub caps, bias ply tires, leather interior, power steering, power windows, and power seats (needs switch). Don't wait any longer for this extremely collectible car! Located in our Tampa Showroom, this 1957 Chrysler 300C for sale can be seen in greater detail including HD pictures and video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com, or call 813-645-6200 for additional information.

1960 Chrysler Imperial

1960 Chrysler Imperial

Engine: 413 CID V8
Transmission: Push Button Automatic
Mileage: 70,970 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1960 Chrysler Imperial Crown. The 1960 Imperial adopted wildly exaggerated styling, featuring front fascia with a swooping bumper, gaping mesh grille, giant chrome eagle, and hooded quad headlights, and tall rear fins. Soaring fins had bullet style tail lamps at the peak of the fin, with a chrome ring surrounding it. The grille and bumper on the front of the 1960 used large pieces of heavy chrome, and the 'furrowed brows' of the fenders over the double sets of headlights gave the car a ponderous look. In common with most other 1960 Chrysler products, the Imperial featured the new "High-Tower" seat with the driver-side back individually contoured and raised above of the rest of the front seat for increased driver comfort and shoulder support. This would last through the 1962 model year. Also, for 1960, Imperial changed back to 15-inch diameter wheels from the 14-inch diameter wheels that had been standard since the 1957 model. Imperial LeBarons now featured a distinctive smaller "formal rear window" for greater rear seat privacy. Sales increased to 17,719. Imperial again finished ahead of Lincoln, but never did so again. While the rest of Chrysler's lineup adopted unibody construction, Imperial retained its body on frame construction. This 3-owner example is very clean. The original 413 Cubic inch motor and original automatic transmission are clean and in good running order, as stated by the current owner. The Maroon exterior and white leather interior give this car that real nostalgic feel. The owner states the car could use a charge on the AC system, and the dash lights and gauges are faulty. Options for this 1960 Chrysler Imperial Crown are: AC, AM Radio, Cruise Control, Steel Wheels w/Hub Caps, Power brakes, Power Steering, Power Seats, Power Windows, Seat Belts, Leather interior, and Radial White Wall Tires. This 1960 Chrysler Imperial Crown is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1981 Chrysler Imperial

1981 Chrysler Imperial

Engine: 5.2L V8 F OHV
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 2,483 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this incredible one-owner, 15,662-mile 1981 Chrysler Imperial for sale in their Indianapolis showroom. This must one of the lowest mileage ’81 Imperials we’ve ever seen! Originally used as a Chrysler executive car in Auburn Hills, Michigan, this Imperial was delivered to a Chrysler dealer in late 1981. It was there the Imperial found a home as part of the dealer’s personal collection of cars, and was only driven on rare occasions, and never in bad weather. In 2016 the dealer passed, and his collection, including this incredible car, was sold. The current owner has meticulously cared for this beauty ever since, logging fewer than 4,000 miles since acquiring the car. In May of 2016 a temperamental EFI system was replaced with a far more reliable Chrysler carburetor system. The conversion package was professionally installed with adherence to Chrysler’s detailed instructions. Included with the 207 individual parts affiliated with the EFI conversion was a new digital dash module. Because of that upgrade, the digital odometer was reset to “zero”, however, the current owner has the original components, and documentation, to validate the mileage. This Imperial has the appearance of a new car, inside and out. Except for the power antenna, all the factory equipment still works as it should. Cold A/C, AM/FM/Cassette, cruise control, full power options, and fully functioning digital dash. This is a remarkable car, and one you’ll be proud to call your own. Be sure to visit our main web site, www.gatewayclassiccars.com, to check out 100+ HD pictures, and a short video of this beautiful Imperial in action. Better yet, stop by our showroom in person and see this Chrysler first hand! Our Indianapolis showroom is located at 4400 West 96th Street, Indianapolis, In. 46268.
