Powering this unique Oakland is a 400 CID Pontiac V8 engine with a 4 BBL Edelbrock carburetor, an aluminum intake, polished aluminum valve covers, chrome Summit air cleaner, and chrome alternator. An aluminum radiator with an electric fan keeps this Pontiac V8 cool on hot summer nights while out cruising stop light to stop light. A 4-speed automatic transmission with a skull shift handle transfers the power to the 10-bolt Posi-Traction rear end. McCabe headers flow to Borla resonators that give you excellent performance and a nice exhaust note, unlike most annoyingly loud T-Bucket builds. The polished aluminum/alloy 15 inch American Racing Torquethrust wheels provide an great look and stance to the build. The odometer reads 1,304, but the actual mileage of the build is unknown. Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a freshly built bad to the bone 1921 Ford T-Bucket. If you want a lightweight high horsepower ride with tons of attitude, here it is. This T-Bucket comes freshly built with less than 500 miles on it! This one has the traditional open T-Bucket look with a small bed on the back. That's about the only basic thing about it. Up front is a brand new from BluePrint Engines 383 CID V8 which is quite the screamer. BluePrints is able to squeeze out 430 HP and 450 lb ft of torque. To dress it up, a Vintage Speed Tri-Power set up has been dropped on top. The air cleaners, valve covers, and plenty of other accessories have been done in chrome for some eye candy. That screaming 383 breathes through open 4 into 4 headers which announce your presence. Backing the V8 is a TH350 automatic transmission and a 10 bolt rear end. This one has been nicely built with 4 wheel disc brakes to bring it all to a stop. The T sits on Weld Racing wheels with some big fat Mickey Thompsons on the back, and matching smaller Mickeys up front. The body and frame are finished in black, but the engine and interior are red for a nice contrast. The interior is beautifully upholstered with enough room for the two brave enough souls to rip this bad boy around town. A tilt column helps with climbing aboard. For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a classic 1926 Studebaker Duplex Phaeton. This 26’ Studebaker is believed to be a 3-owner car. The first owner from 1926 to 1955, and the second from 1955 to 2017. It received a respray of the green exterior paint sometime in the late 50’s. The paint has held up well, as it does not show any checking in the paint. The hardtop does show some age, it has not been restored, the owner wanted to keep it as original as possible. The interior also appears to be original, the leather upholstery is aged to perfection, and has a super cool look to it. The back seat has plenty of legroom available, and features a footrest for further comfort. This Studebaker is powered by Studebaker’s famous Big 6 inline six-cylinder engine. Adding some flare to the exposed engine bay is a Cadillac air cleaner and a chrome alternator. Power is sent through a TH 350 automatic and back to a Ford 9 inch rear end housing a set of highway gears. The 2.55:1 rear gears are also Powertrax no slip allowing you to really put the power to the ground. When driving this beautiful Roadster, you may notice a matching trailer in your rear view mirror. For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a unique 1929 Ford Model A 2 Door Sedan. The build for this 29' Model A was carefully planned and executed. There are several small nostalgic cues throughout the build including the Piper Cub brake pedal, Airstream trailer tail lights, and a Chevrolet heater box that was converted to a stereo enclosure and glove box. The roof of this Model A was chopped 3.5" inches and features a Mercedes Benz cloth top. The 1920's era Willys Overland headlamps up front have been converted to halogen, which provide ample light if you so choose to drive after the sun goes down. The passenger area of the floorboard has been coated with spray-on bed liner and provides a nice non-slide surface. The rest of the cabin is finished in a light yellow, almost cream color, for a classy, streamline look. The interior has a list of custom goodies including: a gauge cluster from a 56' Ford F100, Piper aircraft brake pedal, vintage Booneville gas pedal, and a hood ornament for a shifter. Powering this one of a kind Model A is a 350 CID SBC V8 engine with a small cam, HEI ignition, Mickey Thompson valve covers, 100 amp chrome alternator, an aluminum high rise intake, and a Holley 4 bbl carburetor. The air cleaner is super cool, it was fashioned out of an old Ford hub cap, and displays the V8 symbol proudly. The aluminum radiator with an electric fan has an old weed sprayer as an overflow tank! A 350 automatic transmission shifts the power to the 57' Chevrolet differential that houses 3.70 gears. The exterior is finished in a light green color and is accented by a black stripe that ties the black top in very nicely. Up front you will find an old illuminated hood ornament that helps tie the whole build together. The Model A frame has been fully boxed, and has a dropped front cross-member. The suspension setup consists of a 4 inch dropped and drilled front beam axle, a vintage style hairpin front and rear suspension, and adjustable coil-overs in the rear. Disc brakes in the front and drum in the rear provide plenty of stopping power for this little Ford. The odometer reads 58,338, but the actual mileage is unknown. The 2 door sedan body has been chopped 3" for a nice aggressive look. The lights have been swapped out for '39 Chevy tail lights and '34 Ford Commercial headlights. The paint is a beautiful blue which contrast well with the white accents. The white top is super cool; it's a completely detachable canvas top which can be removed for open air driving. This sweet body sits on a Pete and Jakes frame which sports a Super Bell front suspension and steering as well as a chrome 4 link. The front end has a chrome drop axle, and chrome Wilwood brakes in the front which resemble old Buick finned drums. The engine is a rebuilt 390 CID V8 FE Ford engine. It wears a rebuilt FE Tri-Power and custom Zoomie headers. Behind the 390 is a TKO 500 5 speed manual, and a Ford 9" rear end with 3.50 gears with limited slip. Hop inside this time machine and you'll find white and blue upholstery with room for 4 comfortably. There is a modern heater hidden within a vintage housing under the dash, but this machine is best enjoyed with the wind in your hair. This is a well executed build with a great vintage theme. This hot rod was very carefully built to be as accurate as possible to a hot rod from back int he good ole days, 1957 specifically. Going with the 1957 hot rod theme, the car is powered by a period correct Corvette 283. The stout 283 is backed by a 1939 Ford 3 speed manual transmission and a 1940 Ford rear end housing 4.10 gears. The frame is an original 1932 as is the metal gas tank and radiator shell. The body is from Outlaw and features an original firewall appearance. Topping the 283 is an original 1947 Cadillac air cleaner. The exhaust has been Jet Coated in black from the manifolds all the way back to the exhaust tips. The build looks as if the car was sent to us from the past via a time machine. Painted in a high gloss black with the red frame exposed and matched by the red steel wheels with chrome beauty rings and white wall tires(radials). The exposed engine bay also adds to the vintage hot rod theme. Don't be confused with builds of today. This one is no frills and all thrills. No A/C or power steering, this is a hot rod! For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a triple red 1932 Ford Roadster. The red Wescott body was completely stripped down and repainted in 2004. The underside of the rear quarter panels were Rhino lined to protect the body while driving down the road. Custom pin-stripping runs throughout the car, along the side, on the trunk lid, and on the dash to help make it stand out amongst the crowd. The red vinyl interior was also replaced in the mid 2000’s and shows very well, with minimal signs of wear. Capping off the red on red on red appearance is the red cloth top that is in very good condition. A Hagan steel hood covers the 302 CID V8 that powers this 32’ Ford down the road. The 302 V8 features a full roller block, E-303 cam, Edelbrock aluminum heads, aluminum valve covers, and a Holley carburetor. Headers flow to the true dual exhaust that dump out the side in front of the rear tires and provide a great sound. An automatic transmission with overdrive and a shift kit transfers the power to the Ford 9” that houses 3.55 gears. The Wescott body sits on a TCI boxed frame. A 2” dropped chrome axle and rack and pinion steering is up front while a 4-link suspension setup is out back. In the trunk you will find the Pioneer AM/FM radio with CD player, which you can control from the driver’s seat via remote control. The odometer reads 22,602, the actual mileage is unknown, and just 2,000 miles have been put on the car in the last 14 years. The Gateway Classic Cars Showroom in Saint Louis is tremendously proud to offer this amazingly restored and well-kept 1934 Ford Tudor. In succession of the Model A, between 1932 and 1934 Ford produced three new cars; Model B, Model 18, and Model 40. The noticeable changes of the 1934 design included a flatter grille with a wider surround and fewer bars, straight hood louvers, two handles on each side of the hood, smaller head lights and cowl lamps, and a reworked logo. This 1934 Ford Model 40 has been reworked to be powered by a RAM Jet 350, which is a Chevy Small-Block V8 (Cubic Inch Displacement 350) that has a maximum RPM of 5200. Pushing is the engine is a General Motors 4L60-E (TH700R4). Other modern driving features includes: Power Brakes, Posi Traction, Power Brakes, Radial Tires, and Tilt Wheel. The engine, transmission, and wiring were all installed in 2008. Smooth driving performance aside, what makes you motivated to buy this 1934 Ford Model 40 is because it looks better than everything else on the road. The condition of the exterior black paint job from 2008 is in excellent condition and doesn't even need to be waxed to shine as it does. This car has been kept in clean and dry conditions since she was built. The Show Me glass body sits on a Pete and Jake's frame and features a Heidt's front end. One of the most notable features is the transformation from a rumble seat into an operable trunk lid. You would be hard pressed to find another '36 5 window with this custom treatment. The eye catching blue paint is a one year only 2002 Volkswagen Aquarius Blue. It certainly looks period correct but with a little pop. The restoration is top notch thanks to a seasoned car builder and a solid body. This '36 is still using all of its original sheet metal! The top was filled, the trunk was heavily modified by removing the rumble seat and precise cutting to create a trunk, custom headlights, tail lights, bumpers and firewall. Underneath is just as impressive and features a Mustang II designed front suspension with upper and lower control arms with power rack and pinion steering. Power front disc and rear drums make for easy braking. The polished stainless steel 18-gallon fuel tank looks beautiful. Power comes from a mild 1970 350 small block Chevy and sends the power through a TH-350 automatic transmission and back to an open rear diff with 2.75:1 gears. Both the passenger compartment and trunk floors have been covered in Dynamat to reduce heat and reduce road noise. The powerplant comes from a 2009 5.3L Chevrolet LS V8 with an LS2 intake that has approximately 18,000 miles on it. The LS engine is mated to a 4L60E automatic transmission, which transfers the power to the Ford 8.8” rear end that houses 3.27 gears. This powertrain combination creates an excellent driving experience in any environment, while being incredibly reliable, and produces plenty of power to have fun with. An all new Mustang II front suspension setup is in place with powder coated upper and lower tubular control arms, new spindles, and power rack and pinion steering. The rear suspension features a triangulated 4-bar setup with TCI coil over shocks and springs. Power disc brakes adorn all four corners, providing maximum stopping power when needed. This award winning street rod has been beautifully assembled with help from some of the best in the business. This all steel '39 has been professionally stripped and prepped for one of the nicest black paintjobs you will find. The body modifications are subtle, such as removing side vents, bumpers and mounts removed, and the addition of a custom rear roll pan which houses the single exhaust outlet. The body style is so beautiful, there is no need to chop or channel, by simply smoothing and simplifying, a custom looking body is the result. This sedan sits on its original chassis that has been modified to accommodate a Mustang II front suspension and air ride and has been powder coated for durability. The Mustang II setup is from Lakeshore Fabrication which features air ride, Heidts 2" drop spindles, and Unisteer steering. The brakes are supplied by Wilwood and are drilled and slotted disc in all four corners. The rear suspension features a 4 bar setup with air ride. The rear end is a 9" Ford with a 3.26 final drive ratio and limited slip. The Plymouth sits on one off Foose wheels, 18" in front and 20" in the rear wrapped in Nitto tires. Under the hood is a hot LS2 GM crate engine. These LS engines have become the go-to for street rodders looking for a powerful and reliable drive train. The LS2 is mostly stock but does have a custom made air intake which utilizes a classic style air cleaner from a '56 Buick Nailhead. To stay true to the car, custom valve covers have been made as well to sport the "Plymouth" name. The LS2 breathes through Sanderson headers and dual exhaust that exits through a center outlet. The transmission is a 4L80-E automatic with overdrive. The interior is very tastefully done with saddle leather throughout. Wood grain on the dash and window surrounds give a classy look as well as the original steering wheel. Modern comforts like power seat and air conditioning are nicely integrated so they don't look out of place. To quench your thirst during those summer month car shows, the center console doubles as a drink cooler which drains to the outside. The air compressor and battery are nicely hidden behind a panel in the beautifully finished trunk. The entire interior features square weave carpet which adds to the classy look. Overall class and refinement has been kept in mind when building this street rod. There's no flames, or TV screens, or gaudy colors.
