The restoration on the vehicle was completed in November of 2016 and tributes a classical 1923 T-Bucket. This bucket is in great running condition and ready for a new owner to take to a show or run down the roads. It has been garage kept and well cared for by it’s previous owners. Powering this beauty is a 350 motor with Weiand 144 Pro- Street Supercharger. The power house is paired to a TH350 automatic transmission. Keep the power under control is a set of new Tires the are mated to new 20″ American Racing Aluminum rims. Walking around the car you will find Custom airbrush work, body and frame, have been cleared. The true flame paint scheme is very sleek and shows very well. Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is the awesome 1923 Ford T-Bucket Roadster. The T-bucket is a classical piece of American muscle that many have grown to love. This T-Bucket is powered by an exciting 327 CID V8 that came from a ’66 Chevy. This strong running engine is paired to a 350 Turbo transmission with a B&M shift kit that makes for a great cruiser. As the power is being transmitted through to the rear wheels it is linked up to a ’68 Nova rear end with a set of 3.08 gears. This T-bucket is said to have only 3 owners and was built back in the mid 80’s being well taken care of through the years. The rear shocks, and headers were recently replaced to keep this car riding and sounding great. The car comes with plenty of stopping power with the Willwood disk brakes as well. The exterior is a beautiful Navajo white that really sets it apart from the others. The engine has been coated to match the body. The car also features some custom pin striping and wood trim to make it worthy of a local car show. Moving to the interior you will find it is very classical in appearance with a green and brown combo. The make the car even more unique it features the vertical steering column which is something you don’t see in todays cars. Between the extensive powertrain work and original sheet metal, this car is a clean example of a Model T. Under the hood of this American icon is a 2.9-liter inline four cylinder engine that was good for roughly 20 horsepower when new. The engine was rebuilt roughly 75 miles ago and upgraded with a 12V distributor and battery to improve reliability and drivability. Although the car has been upgraded, the original coil box remains in the car. Sending what little power this car has to the rear wheels is a two speed manual transmission with a very unique shifting sequence. The transmission was also rebuilt with the engine. Moving inward, the interior of this car is barren with no modern amenities or luxuries. When this car was produced, it was meant to be a cheap means of transportation for the masses with little to no focus on comfort or styling. Although there are really no features to speak of, the condition of the interior on this T is very good. The exterior of this T is finsished in black to stay true to the only original color option. You may not compete against the Camaros, and Mustangs on the road but this very well may be one of the quicker Model T’s I’ve seen. This partially restored, sharp looking 1931 Ford Model A Sedan is for sale in our Houston Showroom. Enjoy getting looks at shows and being in parades with this beautiful Model A. To some at the time, it likely seemed impossible for Henry Ford to follow up the commercial success of the Model T. However, he would immediately hit another home run with the Model A. But, while the Model T was produced for the explicit purpose of making the motorcar accessible to everyone, the Model A would be Ford's attempt at combining mass production with exclusivity. The Model A would be an absolute hit with the public. The marriage of aesthetics and mass production has seemed to work as one million examples would be built by February of 1929. By July, just a few months later, production would top two million. Ultimately, by the time the Model A became superseded by the Model B and production ended in early 1932, nearly five million Model As would roll off the Ford assembly lines. This nice looking Ford is powered by a 201 CiD inline 4 cylinder engine backed by a 3 speed manual transmission. This all-steel original car has one very handy "modernization": its electrical system has been converted from the original 6-volt system to a modern 12-volt system, making it much easier to enjoy tooling around in. The exterior on this all-metal Ford Model A is a nice matte black with buckskin brown accents and soft top. The Model A rolls on a set of original steel wire wheels painted in a brown color (that matches its buckskin brown top and interior) and are wrapped by black wall bias ply tires. The seating surfaces are covered by a freshly-installed Buckskin Brown vinyl tan. The interior has been fully restored back to the original look. The car has its original engine & trans in the car that is came with in 1931. The owner also put a new carburetor & a new alternator. Everything on the car works! This car has no rust on it and is a true survivor car that is all metal with no body filler. Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this beautiful and totally one of a kind, hand built 1932 Ford Roadster. Professionally appraised at over $120,000, this gorgeous build is jaw dropping from top to bottom, front to back. Powering this masterpiece is a 1 of 7 pre-production, 525hp, 392 CID V8 Hemi from Mopar Performance. Featuring forged pistons and rods, 278/285 hydraulic roller cam and CNC ported aluminum twin plug heads. It has EFI, 80mm throttle body, custom Detroit Muscle headers and a stainless Flowmaster exhaust/muffler system. Transferring this power to the rear wheels is a Chrysler 518 transmission built by Godfather Racing and a custom Detroit Muscle driveshaft. This is an all steel roadster from Hot Rods & Horsepower in MI (Dearborn Duce). You will notice the steel hood, ’32 Grille and stowaway convertible top. The bodywork and DuPont Hot Rod Black paint was completed by Shadowoods in MI and graphics done by Dennis Shephard. Gauges were done by SO-CAL Speed Shop in Pomona and Moon Equipment in Santa Fe Springs. Seats were done by Roadster Shop in IL and Willy’s Workshop completed the upholstery. It is finished in Pendleton Del Rio wool Indian blanket, python skin & camel wool highlights. The carpet is also wool. This was the Detroit Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau “Flagship Promotional Vehicle” commissioned to showcase Detroit’s automotive heritage. Designed by Chris Baum, the D-Rod, was built by Rick Dyer at Detroit Muscle with input from Ford, Chrysler and GM Executives. Chrysler provided a pre-production 392 CID V8, 525hp Hemi crate engine that was first shown at SEMA. Chrysler had Arrow Racing Engines release one of the first hand-built development engines for the D-Rod build. The transmission is a 4-speed Chrysler 518 automatic. The build also used a vast ’32 Roadster aftermarket to create a high-performance vehicle that is truly a unique ’32 Ford Roadster. Dearborn Duce proved an all-steel ’32 body with a disappearing top assembly. The frame is a Lobeck’s Deuce frame equipped with a 9-inch ford rear end, a Magnum 4-inch dropped tube axle, bobbed rear rails and four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes. The interior includes an Ididit steering column and steering wheel. The D-Rod was built in 2007 and not only showcases the Detroit Automotive Heritage, it is a build that brings together the best of the hot-rod industry. Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this awesome 1934 Ford 3 Window Coupe. Now, tell me that this car doesn’t scream fast! This mean Wild Purple machine is powered by a stout 468 CID V8 big block Chevy with a 6-71 Weiand Supercharger and dual 750 Holley carbs to top it all off. Fast, is an understatement. It features Zoomie headers, MSD ignition, a built Turbo 350 with a 3500 stall, 4:11 gears and a B&M Pro Stick shifter. Up front it has aluminum I-beam front axle with disc brakes and Mickey Thompson Sportman 26x7.5x15 tires wrapped around Weld Racing wheels. Out back you will see the polished Winters quick change rear end with fully adjustable coil overs, drum brakes and 32x17.5x15 Mickey Thompson ET Streets, also wrapped around Weld Racing wheels. This car was originally built from the ground up by Kyle Bond, owner of Gibbon Fiberglass Reproductions. When he saw it on our website, he provided some great background on it. It has a Gibbon fiberglass body, and features Kyle's own Gibbon Fiberglass body, with 4” chop top, custom built frame, roll cage, suicide doors and custom paint and flames of show quality. This car was displayed and raced to promote Gibbon Fiberglass Bodies, and was his personal car, which he raced for 7 years all over the country with Goodguys VRA Nostalgia Events. He states that, on alcohol it ran 8.60 seconds at 160 MPH in the 1/4 mile. It was also featured on the COVER of SUPERROD magazine in Oct. 2000, as well as was featured in Street Rodder magazine in Nov 2000. It has a Pete n Jakes Chassis and leather interior (well, it used to - some of the leather was removed when a subsequent purchaser revised the interior slightly to accommodate a 6' 4', 320lb driver)...the revision included custom seat rails and new buckets to accommodate the later owner, with the current buckets and flooring having been revised to a more duty-oriented synthetic leather and cloth configuration. The smell of leather still abounds, however, since the rest of its original all-leather interior is still intact. The inside of the cabin isn’t what you would expect. Often, people with this level of performance opt for a stripped-out interior, with nothing more than racing seats, gauges and metal. This is certainly not the case with this build. The seats are very comfortable and the cabin is spacious, even with the roll cage installed. Creature comforts such as power windows, seat belts and a vinyl interior can be found too. The pictures don’t do this one justice and the video (as awesome as it is) doesn’t show how truly heart-thumping this beast is in real life. The retina-melting yellow paint gleams in the sunlight. All the body panels and fenders are steel. All the glass is in great shape, and the windshield cranks out like it did from the factory. The grille is in excellent shape and shows well. The wheels are the original style 15” wires with the classic style wide white walls. Both bumpers are nice, all the trim, headlights and spare tire carrier are in awesome shape. It has the original style interior, done in red synthetic leather which is in fantastic shape, and the seat is comfortable. The door panels show just as nice as the rest of the car. The dash has a nice engine-turned bezel, with vintage-style gauges. The car also features Power Windows, A/C (blows cold), and a tilt steering column topped by a vintage-style wood-rimmed steering wheel. This '35 3-Window still retains its original Flathead V8 engine (with only 15 miles on it!), and 3 speed transmission controlled by a Lokar shifter. The brake system and A/C were also completely overhauled during the engine build. Options include Air Conditioning, AM Radio, Power Steering, Power Windows, Spare Tire, Rumble Seat, Tilt Wheel, Vinyl Interior, Wide White Wall Bias Ply tires, and Wire Wheels. Now for sale in Gateway Classic Cars Houston is this awesome 1936 Ford Special Deluxe. Finished in Green with a Gray interior, this vintage classic really looks the part. It is powered by a 1942 85hp 221 CID Ford V8 mated to a 2-speed transmission with reverse. The vehicle shows 2725 miles on the odometer, but it is unknown if this is actual or not. Chevrolet regained the sales lead at the end of 1936, but the Ford still sold extremely well. A new club cabriolet model was introduced with a fully framed windshield and weatherproof top, and the convertible sedan gained the popular integrated trunk back design. The look was updated with an inverted pentagonal grille with all-vertical bars beneath a prominent hood and three horizontal chrome side strips (on Deluxe models). A concealed horn, long a prominent part of the Ford's design, also brought the car into modern times. The new trucks continued with the old grille. Other major changes for 1936 were the use of pressed steel "artillery" solid wheels instead of wire wheels. This car has been modernized and features conveniences like air conditioning, heating, AM/FM radio, spare tire, jack, functioning brake lights, working horn and a kill switch to preserve battery for times when the car may be sitting. The current owner has had it for about 3 years and has take very good care of it. It’s a road ready classic that would make a great starter classic or an awesome addition to anyone’s car collection. Freshly-minted and now for sale in our Houston showroom is this spectacular all-steel 1938 Chevrolet Coupe. Cloaked in a stellar Porsche Guards Red PPG finish, this is one for all ages. The restoration started with the steel body shell, and a Superior Glass Works Chassis, with fully boxed steel frame rails. Everything was taken to bare metal before any finish work was begun. A new LS3 crate motor was installed, with a FAST intake and FAST fuel rails. A set of coated shorty headers and a full stainless 2.5” exhaust setup, complete with stainless X-pipe, scavenges the spent fuel to the rear with a throaty burble. To the aft of the beefy powerplant, a new 6L80E 6-speed automatic transmission with a 3200RPM stall torque converter to aid in providing excellent launches. The 6-speed auto provides excellent highway cruising capabilities, with surprisingly efficient operation. There are two dual finned-aluminum transmission coolers for the tranny to help it keep it at optimum temperature during spirited driving. Controlling the 6L80E’s shifts is a Corvette-style shifter, complete with electronic paddle-shift control capabilities on the gear knob. You’ll feel comfortable knowing that you can drive this thing like its sportscar powertrain wants you to, with handling and ride to match. The front end is a complete Heidts SupeRide II independent front suspension, with tubular upper and lower control arms, sway bar, QA1 adjustable coil-over shocks, 12” Wilwood disk brakes and calipers, and a power rack and pinion steering setup. Out back are QA1’s, a triangulated 4-bar link setup, torsion-style sway bar, an all-new quick-change Currie Ford 9” rear end and third member with 2.75:1 gears and a True-Track limited slip differential, and 11” Wilwood disk brakes and calipers complete with E-brake. The power-assisted braking setup is also equipped with a proportioning valve, allowing for fine-tuning the front/rear braking balance. A set of Nitto performance radials (215/50-17 front, 235/65-17 rear) wrapped around American Racing Salt Flat Special 5-hole wheels help keep this retro-rod stuck to the pavement. Inside this modernized classic, you’ll find that all the chrome trim shines like it’s brand new, and it is abundant. From the chrome window surrounds, windshield and rear window trim, to the door and window levers, everything glistens. There are a few hidden secret gems, too: the chrome window cranks don’t move – a light touch upward will raise the power windows, and a similar light touch will lower them. Equipped with what seems to be power everything, this car has plenty of creature comforts that one wouldn’t expect in a vintage auto. This engine features Hilborn fuel injection which is said to be the first fuel injection system created and was desired by many racers of the era. The quick-change rear end made this car capable of interchangeable gearing for different racing needs to improve the odds of a win. The TF was only produced between 1953 and 1955 and was the last of the T-Series before it was replaced by the MGA. There was a total of roughly 9,602 MG TF’s produced between ’53 and ’55 making these few and far between today. This MG is powered by a strong running 1250cc 1.3L I4. The engine was rebuilt roughly 1500 miles ago by “5R Restoration” making this car run like a top. Speaking of tops, the beauty features a convertible top that is in good condition along with the side windows as well. With an ample amount of restoration work done between 2009 and 2013 this car is in good condition. The door handles have been shaved for a sleeker and more simplified look. The custom flame paint job on the truck looks great from any distance. Definitely a talking point from a cosmetic stand point. The truck has undergone many modifications, increasing power dramatically. However, components like suspension and brakes have not been overlooked. You will notice the beefy brakes (which stop the truck with excellent power) and the 4-link suspension setup. Even with the power level that this truck is at, it stays straight and true under heavy acceleration. The sound is amazing from this truck. The custom exhaust setup, along with the whine of the supercharger, definitely puts a big smile on your face. This truck is no slouch but it it’s a lot tamer than you may thing for road usage. The current owner has driven long distances with no fusses. The 3-speed transmission is geared so that you can cruise on the highway without overrevving the engine. Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this very clean 1955 Chevrolet 3100. These classic ’55 pickups are known as the Second Series and were the start of an all new body style that ran from 1955 to 1959. This one is far from original with a complete restoration and shows very well. This beautiful pickup is powered by a LS2 which was rebuilt about 3,000 miles ago. This LS2 has a LS-6 Cam Kit and was rebuilt by G&G Machine. There may be some confusion on the engine due to the 5.7L engine cover, but this was simply due to not being able to find a 6.0L engine cover for it. If you've always wanted a real race car that was built by one of the legends in NHRA racing, but you were afraid to ask, "how much?", we have the car for you. Originally brought to the track by Don Gray Trucking as the "Torture II", with its U.S. Body-supplied '55 Sedan Race Body Shell. Built by Jerry Bickel Race Cars, Inc. in 1995, this is one legend that has stood the test of time and looks better than it did when it was first completed. Smothered in a gorgeous Tangelo Pearl finish, with very subtle flame work that starts on the hood and continues down the front flanks, this is one sweet-looking hot ride. But don't let the looks fool you - this car is one thing, and that's "all business". Sporting a Reher-Morrison 540 CID big block Chevy V8 with its Williams Carburetors-built race carb, backed by a custom BTE Powerglide transmission, this car is set up to let you make fools out of your bracket racing competition. With an air throttle and throttle stop, you can run extremely consistent times. With its 2016 NHRA-certified chassis (s/n A071910) good for 7.50 and slower E/Ts, this car is virtually turn-key ready for the track. From the full tubular chassis and integrated roll cage, to a Dzus fastener-laden body and interior panels, you can tell that this car is built for the track. The snorkel scoop-laden front clip comes completely off, allowing for full access to everything in the engine bay. Whether you need access to steering componentry, the engine, or the front coil-over drag suspension, there's virtually nothing that needs working on that can't be accessed easily. The massive mill is braced by a torque plate at the front, enabling it to become an integral part of the fully reinforced tubular race chassis, with it multiple-link adjustable rear, ensuring that this beast stays straight and true from launch to run-out at the top. The electric water pump, massive aluminum radiator with electric fan, and trans cooler help ensure that everything stays within optimum operating temps during each run. Further equipped with Mark Williams Hi-Torque axles, Lamb multi-piece rotors and Lamb racing calipers, multi-piece Weld Drag wheels at all four corners, Hoosier skinnies up front, massive Hoosier wrinkle wall slicks out back, and wheelie bars, this car says, "get me to the track, baby!" from as far away as you can see it. Under the hood is that gigantic 540 CID Reher-Morrison big block Chevy V8, with its Williams Carburetors carb and custom-fabbed race headers. When this beast lights off, no one will be able to keep from snapping their head toward the noise to see what's causing the thunder. A full competition-approved fuel cell and the twin trunk-mounted Optima batteries are easy to get to by removing the Dzus-fastened trunk, and more Dzus fasteners allow easy access to key driveline components normally covered by the floor pan. A fully adjustable rear spoiler sits atop the aft edge of the deck lid and allows custom tuning of downforce (and therefore ETs). FYI, those dual Optima batteries help ensure that everyone can see your working HID headlights and taillights during those ultra-high-speed night racing runs (in addition to their normal duty, of course). Out back, a purpose-built Mark Williams complete 3rd member setup serves as part of a fully adjustable multi-link rear suspension, with Drag Coil-over shocks and wheelie bar, which serve to keep the rear end planted and the front end out of the sky at launch. Inside, the driver has all controls within easy reach, and fingertip controls make it easy, with the Jerry Bickel wiring setup and control panel being reachable even when the driver is fully belted into the Kirkey racing bucket with the massive Simpson race harness. This race car is ready to hit the strip with no excuses, and is ready for the pit crew between passes, with its abundant Dzus fasteners providing easy on/off of its front clip and trunk. A full set of gauges help the driver keep track of critical functions, and a removable steering wheel helps for easier ingress/egress before and after your hot passes. This is a creation of the Chevrolet Task Force which was Chevrolet’s successor to the Advance Design truck series. The Task Force Series ran from late in 1955 through 1959. This was also known as the second series. The 1955 second series offered standard options and add-ons such as 12-v electrical, the firs V8 and fleet-side 6, 7 and 8 foot beds. First year for new body style. New "wrap-around" windshield a truck industry first and optional wrap-around rear window on Deluxe cabs.
