Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to offer a stunning 2005 Honda S2000. The S2000 is one of Honda’s most notable vehicles. A two-seat roadster with aggressive styling, and high-performance abilities; there’s no surprise this vehicle has become a bit of a cult classic. The S2000 name comes from the S500, S600, and S800 roadsters of the 1960s. In this case, the 2000 designates a 2 Liter 4 cylinder which was introduced with the S2000. A second generation starting in 2004 referred to as the “AP2” bumped up the displacement to 2,157cc which was good for 237 horsepower. Backing the dual overhead cam V-Tec 4 cylinder up front is a silky smooth 6 speed manual transmission which delivers power to the rear axle. This layout is a favorite for driving enthusiasts, and some S2000s have been converted to track vehicles thanks to their power, handling, and reliability. This particular ’05 has had a much easier life. With only 28,086 miles, it’s clear this has been a fair weather secondary car. The unique color is “Suzuka Blue” which refers to Suzuka Japan where the car was produced. Suzuka is also home to a race track which is owned by Honda called Suzuka International Racing Course. These Japanese sports cars are becoming highly collectible and it’s clear why. They’re great looking, fast, and extremely reliable. This 2005 AP2 Honda S2000 would make a great collector’s piece. Whether you’re a sports car collector, or new to the sports car hobby, this would be a great choice. You can see this S2000 in greater detail in our Chicago showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Our newest arrival at the Gateway Classic Cars Chicago, IL showroom is not for the average auto collector. At GCC, we embrace the enthusiasts that hold a devotion to big, beautiful cars from off the beaten path. When selecting American luxury, many have placed their votes with GM’s division of Cadillac, only to find themselves lost in a sea of trend followers. However, throughout the years, if you wanted to be taken seriously as a true individual with class, you rocked a Lincoln. Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Babe Ruth, Frank Lloyd Wright, and countless US Presidents would all agree with this opinionated declaration. Take a long gaze at this gorgeous 1978 Lincoln Mark V. With an impeccably clean interior and exterior, this is a shining example of everything previously mentioned; Command, luxury, and innovation. This year of the Mark V was the very last that offered the iconic 460 CID big block as an option. Like many other Mark V’s, this one was custom-ordered by the original owner to include cruise control, power windows, power brakes, power steering, power mirrors, and even an 8-Track radio. It continued life with a second owner, and currently awaits a third under our roof here in Chicago. You can see this lovely Mark V in greater detail in our Chicago location or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 708-444-4488 or Chicago@gatewayclassiccars.com with inquiries.

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to offer this low mileage 2005 Hummer H2. GM unleashed these off-road behemoths in 2002 as the new age iteration of the original H1. Like the Hummers that preceded it, the H2 maintained its larger than life appearance as well as the off-road performance that made the brand famous. With gas prices through the roof and poor financial planning on the part of GM, the Hummer brand ceased production back in 2009 making these trucks a prime candidate as a future collector’s item. For many of the H2s, their Hummer name was immediately put to the test and with seemingly endless customization options available at the time, owners were quick to modify their H2. The example on offer is likely one of the most original low miles H2 you’ll find. With only around 13000 miles, this H2 remains untouched and would be the perfect addition for a collector. The only modification that was made on this H2 was an upgraded Corsa exhaust with a beautifully subtle sound coming from the 6.2L V8. The exterior is a brilliant classic Black with the factory silver wheels with the full-sized spare mounted to the tailgate. Inside the cabin you’ll find a spacious black leather interior with factory navigation and touch screen. Sitting in the drivers’ seat you’re greeted with all the bells and whistles from the factory giving this off road machine a surprising feeling of high end luxury. In the back there is plenty of room for additional passengers plus an additional third row seat. If you are looking for a future collectors item then be sure this 2005 Hummer H2 is on the list. For more information regarding this beautiful Hummer H2 please call the Chicago Showroom at 708-444-4488 or email us at Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to offer a super clean 1974 Grand Prix Model J. There is a class of vehicle which is becoming more and more difficult to find: original and unrestored. With the popularity of resto-mods, or complete frame off restorations, there are fewer and fewer survivors out there. This particular 1974 Pontiac Grand Prix is an unrestored car with 54,986 original miles. The engine and trans are original and believed to have never been out of the car. It has the 400 CID V8 and an automatic which run and shift beautifully. The exterior is green which is in surprising great shape for the age of the vehicle. Needless to say, most mid 70s muscle cars have either been wrapped around trees or rusted to pieces. It great to see such a well-preserved piece of Pontiac history. Opening the door is like stepping back in time. The green upholstery is in wonderful condition as is the dash and steering wheel. This was a high line vehicle in the 70s, so it’s loaded with all the goodies: Air Conditioning, AM/FM/Cassette, power steering, power brakes, and even power windows! Whether you’re a Pontiac collector, or just entering the classic car hobby, this cream puff 1974 Grand Prix Model J would be a great addition to any collection. By 2012 the optional 6.2L V8 engine rated at 500hp had become standard. For some owners, 500hp was never enough as was the case with this particular Raptor. Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is excited to offer this very unique 1940 Ford Super Deluxe Flower Car once again. If you're scratching your head thinking "I've never seen one of those before!" It's probably because you most likely have not. This 1940 Ford Deluxe was produced by the Ford Motor Company and then converted by The Eureka Manufacturing Company of Rock Falls Illinois into a flower car. Essentially starting out as a 5-window coupe, the conversion lengthened the chassis and the convertible rear casket compartment was created with metal rollers and pins to store the side rails that would hold flowers in place. This car had a dual use of being enclosed with the original canvas cover for the less elaborate funerals and having the rear compartment cover removed and side rails installed for a more elaborate send off. Flower cars were popular during the middle of the century and now are rarely seen in modern funerals. While most if not all of these conversions done by Eureka were on General Motors vehicles this one being a Ford and not a Packard or Cadillac makes this highly obscure and is believed to be the only one ever made. This car was purchased new in 1940 and check out the original photos of the car being delivered. Now fast forward 78 years and you will notice that not much has really changed. This is an original, unmolested, unrestored car that still retains the original paint, original canvas cover, original interior and powertrain. Now is your chance to own something that nobody else has and enter the world of Professional Car Collectors. Surely this will be the only one at whatever show you attend and thanks to years of maintenance and recent service work performed this car is ready for the road and will cruise at highway speeds. New parts include brake shoes, wheel and master cylinders, brake hoses, rear axle seals, new points set, fuel tank, fuel pump and carburetor overhaul. Located in our Chicago showroom, this 1940 Ford Deluxe Flower Car can be seen including an HD video and pictures at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer a 1947 Plymouth Special De Luxe Convertible. Inside the cabin you’re greeted with a beautiful custom tan vinyl interior helping to make this a comfortable cruiser. The vacuum powered top has been converted to simpler and more reliable electric unit.
