1962 Chevrolet Nova

1962 Chevrolet Nova

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 58,672 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this Sporty looking 1962 Chevrolet Nova for sale. After the rear-engine Chevrolet Corvair was outsold by the conventional Ford Falcon in 1960, Chevrolet began work on a more conventional compact car that would eventually become the Chevy II. The car was of semi-unibody construction having a bolt on front section joined to its unitized cabin and trunk rear section, available in two-door coupe and four-door sedan configurations as well as convertible and station wagon versions. Powering this 62 Nova for sale is a small block 350cid V-8 engine that has been rebuilt and runs strong and smooth. As you drive you can feel the power shift through all the gears with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission that also has been recently rebuilt. The 10-bolt rear end and 3.08 gears give this beast of a Nova its final touches to one strong drivetrain. With all this power you are going to need to be able to steer and with a Heidts front sub-frame and tubular control arms along with rack and pinion steering you will have a blast driving into any turn that comes your way! Finally you will need to be able to stop which will be no problem with the upgraded disc brakes. Recently re-painted in a PPG sporty looking Red exterior that will have heads turning all the way around as you pass them on the road. With a complete rust-free body, the car is super straight making the new paint stand out amongst most. Step inside and you sit comfortably in Black Vinyl sport bucket seats up front and a bench for 3 in the rear. Don’t forget the most important upgrade to this 62 Nova for sale which is a vintage A/C system for those Spring and Summer hot days. So if you have been wanting something with power but not over the top and a head turner at the car shows, this Nova for sale is the one for you! Options on this 1962 Chevy Nova are: A/C, AM/FM Radio, Cd Player, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior, and Aluminum/Alloy wheels wrapped in radial tires. 1967 Chevrolet Nova II

1967 Chevrolet Nova II

Engine: V8 Small Block 350
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 117 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Ft. Lauderdale is proud to present this beautiful 1967 Chevrolet II. The Chevy II was one of the fastest new-car development programs in GM history. Just 18 months after the designers got the green light, the first production Chevy II rolled off the Willow Run, Michigan, assembly line in August of 1961. The 1962 Chevy II was never intended to be revolutionary in concept or execution, its mission was to give Chevrolet buyers a simple, back-to-the-basics compact car. There was a lot of debate within the Chevrolet organization over just what to call this car, and the decision to go with "Chevy II" was a late one. Among the finalists was Nova, which lost out because it didn't start with a "C,". Ultimately the Nova badge would replace Chevy II, but that wouldn't happen until 1969. This amazing 1967 Chevy II is definitely a step up from the rest. With a stunning pearlescent white paint job with a flat black stripe on the hood. With a mint black vinyl interior, she's bound to turn heads wherever it goes. Sitting on a church boys racing front suspension. Under the hood sits a 350 small block V8 with Roller Rocker Arms, Shorty headers, a Holley 670 Carb, and a Holley Aluminum Manifold. It also sports a MSD 6AL ignition, a Mallory Distributor, MSD wires, Tall Aluminum Valve Covers, a Flexalite Radiator, and a 3000 CFM Fan. The motor is mated to a TCI 350 Transmission with a BTM Pro Rachet Shifter, Global West Frame Connectors, 10 Bolt Rear, 373 Posi, and new Monroe Air Shocks. Rocking duel exhausts with H Pipe and FlowMaster Mufflers, this 1967 Chevy II sounds incredible! Looking at the immaculate dash, you will notice the blue Dakota Digital gauges giving this classic a modern feel. Equipped with a Kenwood stereo, Pandora Radio ready with USB ports and Aux cable capability. With push button ignition, and a custom short center console, and custom headrests, this car is truly one of a kind. This 1967 Chevy II will make the perfect daily driver or trophy winner for drivers both old and young. To see an HD video of this 1967 Chevrolet II visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com

1969 Chevrolet Nova

Engine:
Transmission:
Mileage: 0 ( undocumented )

Now for sale in our Houston showroom, Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is pleased to present this custom-built 1969 Chevrolet Nova race car. Bathed in the well-known performance shade of Hugger Orange, this Nova is turn-key ready for the track. This car was built by Pyle Brothers in Baytown, TX, and the professional build quality is evident. From the full tubular chassis and integrated roll cage, one can easily spot a purpose-built drag car. Sporting a huge snorkel hood scoop, Strange Engineering high-torque axles, and Strange Engineering braking (multipiece slotted and drilled rotors front and rear, Strange multi-piston calipers front and rear), multi-piece Weld Drag wheels at all four corners, M/T skinnies up front, M/T 33x15.0x15 slicks out back, and wheelie bars, this car says "race-only baby!", even from a distance. Under the hood is a massive 490 CID big block Chevy V8 (built by Houston Engine and Balancing), sporting Dart heads and valve covers, an Edelbrock high-rise aluminum manifold, Holley race carb, and a gigantic deep sump oil pan. Uncapped race headers help route the spent combustion mix, which they do very effectively, and with tremendous sound and fury. Twin electric fans keep the radiator temp in check, and the electric water pump keeps the coolant flowing with no loss of power or cooling efficiency. A competition-prepped GM Powerglide 2-speed automatic handles the single gear change from tree to the finish line, and it'll take everything that 490 CID V8 can dish out, plus more. A full competition-approved fuel cell and the trunk-mounted Optima battery are easy to get to by removing the Dzus-fastened trunk, and more Dzus fasteners allow easy access to key driveline components normally covered by the floor pan. Out back, a Ford 9-inch rear end serves as part of a fully adjustable multi-link rear suspension with Drag Coil-over shocks and wheelie bar serve to keep the rear end planted and the front end out of the sky at launch. Inside, the driver has all controls within easy reach, and fingertip controls make it easy, with the Painless wiring setup and control panel being reachable even when the driver is fully belted into the Kirkey racing bucket with the massive Simpson race harness. This back-halved car is ready to hit the strip with no excuses, and is ready for the pit crew between passes, with its abundant Dzus fasteners providing easy on/off of hood and trunk. The chassis and cage are 2016 NHRA certified, with certification number A710909, for 8.50 and slower ET vehicles. A full set of gauges help the driver keep track of critical functions, and a removable steering wheel helps for easier ingress/egress before and after your hot passes. For night racing at the track, you'll like the fact that the headlights, taillights, and brake lights all work. If you're looking for a turn-key 9 second drag car, this is the one you want. This is a race only vehicle and does not come with a title. If you like low E.T.'s this is a great starting point. For more information on this 1969 Chevrolet Nova race car for sale, please call the Houston showroom at (832) 243-6220; or email us at "Houston@GatewayClassicCars.com". 1963 Chevrolet Nova

1963 Chevrolet Nova

Engine: 350 CID V8 LS1
Transmission: 6-Speed Manual
Mileage: 2,699 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in the Nashville Showroom is a 1963 Chevrolet Nova or Chevy II or little deuce coupe depending on where you grew up. This ’63 Chevy II for sale has the best of the old and the new working together to make something very special. A quick look and you would be certain that this is one clean, well painted sharp looking little deuce coupe but you would be somewhat wrong. The longer you look the more you will notice the latest technology. The big give away is the Dakota® digital dash and the 6-speed knob parked on top of the manual shift lever. Now once the hood is open all bets are off as the LS1 gleams and looks nothing like the little Chevy small block that would have been perched here. With less than 3,000 miles since Grimes twister engines performed their surgery on this LS1 giving it the rumble and stumble that makes me want to make it my ring tone. This LS is cranking out 451 Horses at the fly wheel, slightly more than the factory put under the hood in 1963 and by slightly, I mean about twice. Backing the LS1 is the Tremec® 6 speed manual transmission giving you total control of the RPM’s so you can explain to the Civic driver just what muscle is and then cruise down the highway at 70MPh getting about 25MPG’s. Once again, the best of old and new. There is so much more to tell you about this incredible 1963 Chevy II for sale so give us a call. Options for this 1963 Chevrolet Deuce for sale include AM/FM CD player, Power steering and Brakes, Tilt steering wheel, Anti-theft system, Racing wheels, Posi traction, and aluminum alloy wheels. Mileage: 74,091 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars welcomes this incredible example of American muscle, a 1969 Chevrolet Nova SS! Representing the third generation of Chevy’s famed performance car, the 1969 Nova SS had evolved from the compact Chevy II to a competition threat due to its modest size and impressive powerplant. Featuring attractive restyling and an array of performance upgrades, the Nova was met with great success and garnered attention thanks to gearheads, racers and dealerships like Yenko Chevrolet that were unleashing street beasts to the public. This gorgeous Nova SS started life at the Willow Run Assembly plant just outside Ypsilanti, Michigan. From there it was received and sold by British American Chevrolet Oldmosbile Ltd. In Toronto, Ontario. Since 1969, the car has had four owners who have taken great care to preserve its story including a beautiful restoration. Wearing a stunning shade of Burnished Brown, this Chevy sets itself apart from the others as its glimmers under the lights. A set of sporty magnum wheels subtly contribute to the aggressive stance of this car. A crisp black vinyl interior welcomes you and assures you that great times are ahead. Take a seat in the front buckets and wrap your hands around steering wheel marked with the familiar SS emblem. Note the center console that holds factory performance gauges and a Hurst® shifter that is linked to the Muncie M22 four-speed heavy duty manual transmission, an option only carried by 682 Novas that year. Buckle up and turn that key to breathe life into this street machine; you’ll have goosebumps within seconds. Pop open the hood to gaze upon the heart and soul of the car, the numbers matching L78 396 CID V8 engine rated at an impressive 375 horsepower! Press on the gas and get ready to fly as this 396 means business! Couple that to a 12-bolt rear axle with 3:73 rear gears and you’ll be cruising comfortably as well as leaving the other guys in the dust! If you’re on the lookout for a gorgeous muscle car, look no further as this Canadian Chevy is your ticket to happiness. 1972 Chevrolet Nova

1972 Chevrolet Nova

Engine: 350 CID V8 5.7L
Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 2,760 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is reved up to offer this stunning 1972 Chevrolet Nova for sale in our Arizona showroom. Three years ago, this Nova was bought in Tucson, Arizona. Then a full rotisserie restoration was completed on this Nova to get it ready for a rebuilt, 4 bolt main, 350 CID V8 power house that would be placed under its hood then tied to a 700R4, four speed automatic transmission with a new torque convertor. The motor was bored 30 over also. This was a private built car, but you would never have known that unless I told as it looks like a pro built car. Sporting a charcoal gray exterior with a black vinyl interior, and aluminum alloy wheels. The curves and lines on this car make it impossible to resist, and it even more fun to drive. Our 1972 Chevrolet Nova for sale includes: AM/FM radio, CD player, power brakes, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior, radial tires, and aluminum alloy wheels. The best accessory on this car is the way it drives and how the throttle responds when you put your foot down. 1970 Chevrolet Nova

1970 Chevrolet Nova

Engine: 450 small block
Transmission: TH-350
Mileage: 9,268 ( undocumented )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1970 Chevrolet Nova. This Nova is way meaner than one may think. Power for this bad machine comes from 450 cubic inch small block using an aftermarket "Rocket" block. This special block allows for a bit more displacement without sacrificing the blocks integrity. The go fast goodies inside include a full solid roller valve train, Manley connecting rods, 10.5:1 JE Pistons, Quick Fuel carburetor and AFR aluminum high flow cylinder heads to name a few. Power is estimated in the 600 horsepower range. Firing up this amazing power plant will impress any gear head. Many would think that an engine with such power and menacing sound would be a difficult one to drive. Believe it or not, this one is very well mannered. The rear end is a Ford 9 inch and is equipped with 3.00:1 gear set for easy highway use. Since the drivetrain build, the car has covered a modest 1,000 miles and is ready for more use and enjoyment. Slowing down such a machine means that drums won't do the job anymore. In place is a new pair of Wilwood front disc brakes while drums remain out back, but still doing their job. Weld Racing wheels look right at home on this Nova as does the Green on Green paint scheme. Adding a little flair to the exterior in addition to the wheels is a set mild stripes that barley show themselves. You may even call them ghost stripes. Inside is stock Nova with exception of the aftermarket gauges. The original bench seat is quite comfy and looks really good. Someone could very easily swap them out for a pair of buckets if they so desired. For more information on this 1970 Chevrolet Nova, call 618-271-3000 or swing by our St. Louis showroom. 1967 Chevrolet Nova

1967 Chevrolet Nova

Engine: 496 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 81,640 ( since rebuilt )

Jump in, lean back, buckel yourself in, and take a deep breath as Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa presents this “Pro Street” 1967 Chevrolet Nova. This is a high-performance muscle car at its finest. Look at the aggressive stance this “Bad to the Bone” monster presents. With “skinnies” up front and monstrous tires in the back, it’s not hard to tell this Nova means business. If that’s not enough, peek into the outer-space-deep black paint and you will quickly realize that you’re not dreaming as you see your reflection in the mirror-like finish. Look at the chrome air cleaners peeking through the cowl hood. If you still think this car is all show, raise the hood; nothing says “GO” more than a big block V8 Chevy. This isn’t a stock big block. What you are looking at is a 496 with Edlebrock aluminum heads. This motor doesn’t just say “GO,” it says “I Go Blistering Fast,” and that is before you turn the key. Hop inside and you will find deluxe, black bucket vinyl interior in excellent condition. One turn of the key and this “BEAST” awakens. Your heart will start to pump, adrenaline start to race, and you may even feel butterflies in your stomach; however, you will feel more alive than you ever have. The best part of this “Pro Street” build is the back seat was retained, so you can take the entire family for a cruise. You have all the necessary gauges in sight to monitor the fuel, water temperature, volts, oil pressure, and of course, a monster tach to view your RPM’s. Options include Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, AM/FM Radio, Seat Belts, Aluminum/Alloy Wheels, Fuel Cell, and Kill Switch. You can take this ‘67 Nova coupe to the track or cruise it around town, either way you will be the person everyone remembers in that “Nasty black 1967 Pro Street Nova”. The only thing quicker than this Nova is how fast it will sell. Don’t get left in the dust. Wake up tomorrow saying, “I’m the proud owner of this Monster,” rather than, “I should have called when I saw it.” This 1967 Chevrolet Nova is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1967 Chevrolet Nova SS

1967 Chevrolet Nova SS

Engine: 327 V8
Transmission: Muncie 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 91,757 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this 1967 Chevrolet Nova SS. Let’s answer the main question everyone is asking themselves. Is it a “REAL” SS? The answer is…Yes, this is absolutely a real ‘67 Nova SS car with a 118 VIN number Super Sport. This is one of the most sought after Nova’s made. The body style for this Nova was only a two-year run. 1967 marked the last year of the shoebox Nova style. In 1968, Chevrolet would turn to a more rounded slant back body style. This is the type of Muscle Car one dreams about. Does it get any better than a Marina Blue ‘67 SS car? No! The paint glistens even though it was restored back in 1987. The chrome gleams accenting the aggressive Nova look these cars are known for. Add in the fact that it has Crager S/S wheels all the way around the car, keeping it true to its lineage. When you look inside, you will notice how nice of condition the black deluxe interior is in. Sporting the bucket seats with the SS console your eyes are drawn to the 4-speed shifter. Yes, you read correctly, 4-speed. The Muncie 4-speed manual transmission is the staple of any “true” muscle car. Also, located on the inside of this “Deuce Coupe” is A/C for those hot summer days cruising the town. Now to the most important part of any muscle car. What’s under the hood? What else would be under the hood other than a nicely built 327. Again, the same theme keeps popping up here; This is an authentic-real-true muscle car. The 327 is dressed and displays high performance upgrades, such as the Edlebrock Hi-rise and Holley carburetor. The snappy V8 motor with an attitude has camel hump heads and breathes through Flowmaster Exhaust. Options include AM/FM Radio with USB, A/C, Spare Tire, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, Front Disc Brakes, Dual Mirrors, Tinted Glass, and a Cowl Hood. This 1967 Chevrolet Nova SS is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
