Our Atlanta Showroom is proud to offer this 1966 Dodge Dart for sale. This 4 barrel 273ci V8 is mated to an automatic transmission. It has been upgraded to factory Dodge disc brakes an has the factory GT emblems. The 1966 Dart remained largely the same as the 1965 models with the same engine and transmission lineup. There was a special 273 offered, however, in the D/Dart, a special drag racing edition. Also, the ball and trunion front joint was replaced with a more common U-joint and the 904 transmissions were now shifted with linkages instead of cables. The only change to the suspension was an optional, small front sway bar. An effective facelift with more squared-off lines, a new rectangular grille, and rectangular headlight bezels was introduced. The intention of the facelift was to better mimic the new Charger. The special drag racing D/Dart was classed in the D/Stock class and featured a 273 with larger Holley carb, headers, hotter cam, and manual choke. It was only offered on two-door GT models. Options include: After Market AC, AM radio, Seat Belts, radial Tires, rally wheels. The only thing it is missing is you in the driver’s seat! This stunning Dodge Dart 330 has been meticulously maintained over the years and only has 50,534 original miles! All original interior and the rare 413 CID Golden Lion V8 topped with dual four-barrel carburetors’ sitting under the hood is backed by a push button Torque-flite automatic transmission. The Seneca, Pioneer, and Phoenix trim levels were dropped; trim levels became Dart, Dart 330, and Dart 440. The Polara 500, offered in 2-door hardtop, 4-door hardtop, and convertible styles, was dimensionally identical but not officially a Dart by dint of its "Polara 500" badging. The Polara 500 was not built or sold in Canada, and the Dart models were the same as in the U.S. except that the base model was badged Dart 220. The 1962 Dart, like the Plymouth, was on a new lightweight unibody "B" platform, featuring Chrysler's well-received "Torsion-Aire" torsion bar front suspension and asymmetric rear leaf springs. The rigidity gained through the nearly pure unibody platform combined with the suspension's low unsprang weight and near-ideal geometry provided sound handling, braking, and acceleration; the latter especially with the mid-year 415 HP "Ramcharger" 413 CID V8 which was aimed primarily at sanctioned drag racing, where it quickly broke performance records. For sale in our Denver showroom is a 1970 Top Banana Yellow Hemi Challenger convertible. This beautiful and rare convertible is one of 3884 produced in 1970. Introduced in fall 1969 for the 1970 model year, it was one of two Chrysler E-body cars, the other being the slightly smaller Plymouth Barracuda. "Both the Challenger and Barracuda were available in a staggering number of trim and option levels" and were intended "to compete against cars like the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang, and to do it while offering virtually every engine in Chrysler's inventory. The performance model was the R/T (Road/Track), with a 383 cu in (6.28 L) "Magnum" V8, rated at 335 bhp; 300 bhp for 1971, due to a drop-in compression. The standard transmission was a 3-speed manual. Optional R/T engines were the 375 bhp 440 cu in (7.2 L) Magnum, the 390 bhp 440 CID Six-Pack and the 425 bhp 426 cu in (7.0 L) Hemi. The R/T was available in either the hardtop or convertible. The Challenger R/T came with a Rallye instrument cluster that included a 150-mph speedometer, an 8,000 rpm tachometer, 1972–1974 tachometer went to 7,000 rpm and an oil pressure gauge. In 1972, the R/T badging was dropped and these models were called "Rallye", although they were never badged as such. The Rallye model featured a faux brake vent on the fenders. The shaker hood scoop was not available after 1971. The same year this car rolled off the assembly line the world's first jumbo-jet, the Boeing 747, has its first commercial flight on January 22nd of 1970. No expense was spared on this resto-mod. And the list goes on. When you climb inside you can see the aerospace influence. You’ll understand the quality of the build when you let loose over 600 HP from Hemi under the hood. Now fresh off another car show win “Hank” the Hillbilly Express is looking for a new home. Now with only 11,000 miles on her since the built, which includes: aftermarket square tube frame, 3-link coilover suspension, front disc brakes, Ford 8.8 rear end with 3.73 gears, and Trak-Lok posi traction, full roller 383 V8 pushing out over 500 HP, fed by a Holley 770CFM carb, and backed by a TH350 automatic transmission with a Hurst ratchet shifter, line lock, rolls bar, custom leather interior with ostrich inserts, 5-point race harness, all finished with a beautiful yellow paint job. Another major restyle arrived for the 25th-anniversary 1939 models, which Dodge dubbed the Luxury Liner series. These were once again completely redesigned, with new bodies for 1940, again in 1941, and a refreshing for 1942. However, just after the 1942 models were introduced, Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor forced the shutdown of Dodge's passenger car assembly lines in favor of war production in February 1942. 1941 saw the introduction of Fluid Drive for Dodge cars, which eliminated stalling or bucking if the clutch were released too quickly. This feature put a fluid coupling in between the engine and the clutch, although the driver still had to shift gears manually. The year is 1972, Serbian air stewardess Vesna Vulovic survives 10,160m fall without parachute - world's highest fall without a parachute. And this numbers matching two owner Dodge Charger SE rolls into the Danville, Indiana dealership for sale. Now this classic American MOPAR has been completely rebuilt with only 4000 miles on her. With racing in mind this build includes: the original 400 V8 stroked to 506 CID V8 built by Spitefire Engines, now pushing out 620 HP and 680 LB. ft. of torque, backed by a 727 transmission with Hemi servos and gear vendors, and a 8 ¾ rear end with 4:55 gears and 33 spline axles, all this power sitting atop Magnum Force Racing suspensions, 4 link coilovers in the rear, full tube front suspension, massive 14” Willwood 6 piston disc brakes, and 4 piston rear, new interior, new paint, upgrade fuel system, aluminum radiator, and A/C. The 1972 Charger introduced a new "Rallye" option to replace the R/T version. The SE was differentiated from other 1972 Chargers by a unique formal roof treatment and hidden headlights. The 383 V8 was replaced with a lower compression 4-barrel 400, while the 440 V8 was still available, with lowered compression and downrated to net 280 HP instead of the previous 350 HP gross. The ratings went down as the net horsepower measure was more realistic. Also beginning in 1972, all engines featured hardened valve seats to permit the use of regular leaded or unleaded gasoline rather than leaded premium fuel as in past years due to tighter emissions regulations. Though the 440+6 (designating a triple 2-barrel carb setup and 310 HP was listed in the early 1972 sales literature, it was found in the August 1971 testing that this engine would not meet the new and more stringent 1972 emissions laws, although some early Dodge literature (August 1971 press) stated that this engine was available for 1972, and a few (six is the accepted number) factory installed six-pack Chargers were built, the engine was dropped out of production by September 1971. The optional Pistol-Grip 4-speed Hurst manual shifter could be coupled to the 340, 400, and 440 Magnum engines. The bright silver paint on the exterior of this 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT is one of an estimated 555 produced. Combine that with the fact that this car has only 44,850 miles on the odometer and it gets even more rare. Co-engineered by Chrysler and Mercedes with the 6.1 Liter Hemi V8 boasting 425 horsepower this wagon is able to achieve a 0-60mph time of just over 5 seconds. The Hemi’s torque is being sent to the ground by an A580 five-speed automatic transmission with specially calibrated driver-selectable AutoStick (a feature that offers fully automatic or manual shifting selection).The dual exhaust has a great throaty sound that is tame enough to cruise comfortably with or turn heads when you step on the gas. One of the Magnum’s extreme characteristics is the huge 120 inches wheelbase, which gets to be even bigger than that of a Cadillac Escalade. The front spoiler was completely redesigned in order to reduce lift and improve engine cooling. Dedicated cooling intakes also get to feed via integrated ducts the oversized front-brakes in extensive decelerating episodes. The rear spoiler is also completely new. The sporty character of the Magnum SRT-8 can also be seen in its suspension set-up. Higher traveling speeds, reduced acceleration and braking times bring additional stress to the car. In order to compensate for that the car has SRT-tuned dampers, specially tailored spring rates and suspension bushings, and also large-diameter anti-sway bars. Also the ride height of the Magnum SRT-8 has been lowered with one-half inch than that of other Magnums in order to decrease the weight center. A specially tuned Electronic Stability Program (ESP) is also set to meet the Magnum SRT8’s performance handling characteristics. The Magnum SRT-8 features performance brake calipers developed by Brembo and finished in Dodge SRT red for each wheel. Every of them are equipped with four pistons for even clamping performance. The front vented rotors size 14.2 inches and those in the rear 13.8 inches. One of the flashiest elements from the 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT-8 is the new wheel and tire assembly. They are composed of five spokes 20-inch forged aluminum wheels fitted with high-performance Goodyear F1 tires with asymmetrical tread. The low profile tires size 245/45 ZR20 in the front and 255/45 ZR20 in the rear.Obviously the SRT-8 will charm looking for versatility of mixing utility and temperament. On the practical side this car is no record setter, but still offers a lot of load space. Behind the 60/40 split folding rear seats there are 27.3 cu. ft. to be accommodated with luggage. If no rear seats are required, they can fold flat and extend the load capacity to a more than honorable 71.6 cu. ft. The carpeted compartment located under the folding boot floor, the 12-volt boot located outlet and the retractable cargo cover complete the carrier-abilities of the Magnum. The famous Dodge Power-Wagon was a civilian adaptation of a four-wheel drive, 3/4-ton military vehicle which Dodge built in great numbers during World War II. The civilian version, which was first offered in 1946, was rated as a one-ton but was capable of carrying a 3000 pound payload in off-highway service. Dodge engineered the Power-Wagon to be a self-propelled powerplant, and it was capable of a wide range of industrial and agricultural applications. A transmission power-take-off was available (present here) for driving various items of auxiliary equipment. Our example features a PTO driven winch that looks like it could pull a mountain! There is no better color combination than the Military Green and Black which really give an appeal you can only find on a Power Wagon. With only 2,000 miles on this fresh restoration, this 230cid I-6 can perform to its full potential no matter how you plan on using it. These Power Wagon’s are not something you usually see on the road but if you dare, this one is road ready and can be driven in a parade or to a local show. Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this 1995 Dodge Viper RT-10. The first prototype was tested in January 1989. It debuted in 1991 with two pre-production models as the pace car for the Indianapolis 500. The Viper went on sale in January 1992 as the RT/10 Roadster. The centerpiece of the car was its engine. The Lamborghini Company, then owned by Chrysler Corporation, designed the V10 for the Viper by recasting the block and heads in an aluminum alloy, and was based on the Chrysler LA V8 engine. The engine weighs 711 lbs. and produces 400 bhp at 4600 rpm and 465 lb•ft at 3600 rpm, and thanks to the long-gearing allowed by the engine the car has decent fuel economy. The body is a tubular steel frame with resin transfer molding (RTM) fiberglass panels. The Viper lacks modern driver aids such as traction control and anti-lock brakes on purpose to give you the feel in the seat of your pants. It completes a quarter mile in 12.6 seconds and has a maximum speed of over 150 mph. Its large tires allow the car to average close to one lateral g in corners, placing it among the elite cars of its day. The car is made for driving and features inflatable lumbar support and adjustable seats. Along with the absence of exterior door handles, the vehicle lacks side windows and a roof, although cloth windows and top and included. The battery is in the sealed compartment over the rear wheels to increase rear-end weight and traction. Options include: AM/FM CD player, power brakes, power steering, seat belts, anti-theft system, grey leather seats, alloy wheels. For sale at our Gateway Classic Cars Dallas/Fort Worth Showroom is a 1959 Dodge D-100. From 1957 to 1959, Dodge proposed the Sweptside pickup, a rival to the Chevrolet Cameo Carrier, but it never became a best-seller. A flat-sided (and thus wider) "Sweptline" cargo box came in 1959. The company also adopted the standard pickup truck numbering scheme, also used by Ford and GM at that time. Thus, the ½ ton Dodge was now called the D100. A traditional separate-fender body "Utiline" version was also built which had a GVWR of 9,000 lb (4,100 kg). The D-100 was considered a workings man’s truck back in the day. It’s somewhat of a rarity to locate these in good shape because of this. However, this owner has been able to do just that. This 1959 is only a 2-OWNER vehicle! That’s right, just 2 owners throughout its lifetime! This vehicle was bought and owned by a gentleman in California way back in 1959 (Owner provided original bill of sale). He held on to it and used this vehicle all the way up until about 2 years ago, when it was then purchased by the present owner today. The original owner loved this truck so much, he gave it a front/back full restoration (approximately 2006) a few years before selling this vehicle. Restoring it back to the shape he had previously purchased/received it in 1959. This vehicle is powered by a 318 V-8 engine and 4- speed transmission. For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is this customized 1968 Dodge Charger Daytona Tribute. This is an instant attention grabber. This is a numbers matching car with just 47,876 original miles. The Daytona tribute is instantly recognizable by the massive rear wing and pointed front end. This car started its life as a big block 1968 Charger. A high quality fiberglass Daytona conversion kit was installed. From there, well known restorer, Eric Nelson, built the metal headlight assembly, metal wind supports, and stainless A pillar moldings. This numbers matching Charger is powered by its original 383cid motor mated to a 727 automatic transmission. Both the motor and transmission were rebuilt 538 miles ago. It has an 8.75 inch rear end with 3:73 gears. This Daytona is finished in a Black Cherry that looks great. Inside the car is exceptionally well done. The interior is as clean as they come and the embroidered seats turned out great. The entire interior was completely redone. The seats were reskinned, new seatbelts installed, new carpeting, new dash pad, new headliner, new lower door panels, and much more. The wheels on this charger were refinished when it was rebuilt. At the same time, new tires were put on. Also, a new Vintage Air, air conditioning system was installed. This Charger has new disc brakes up front as well. This charger has the original vinyl top and a rechromed rear bumper. Interestingly, the wing on this Daytona tribute was signed by Richard Petty. Richard invited the previous owner down to the Richard Petty experience and was able to run this car on the track at 139 mph.
