1982 Chevrolet Corvette

1982 Chevrolet Corvette

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 57,822 ( undocumented )

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1982 Chevrolet Corvette for sale. In 1980, the Corvette received an integrated aerodynamic redesign that resulted in a significant reduction in drag. After several years of weight increases, 1980’s Corvettes were lighter as engineers trimmed both body and chassis weight.[14] In mid-1981, production shifted from St. Louis, Missouri to Bowling Green, Kentucky, the current home of the iconic of American sports car. The 1981 models were the last available with a manual transmission until well into the 1984 production run. The coke bottle design body is never more present in the 1982 body and epitomizes the shape like no other car. The last of the body style and if you gals name for Stacy or Patty, you will remember the time of the early 1980’s in this ride. When you look over the hood and feel the fighter laid back cockpit you will be transported to a time where the car made the driver. The options include: Power steering, power brakes, AC, power windows, automatic transmission, T-tops, alloy wheels, seat belts, AM/FM radio, and radial tires. 1996 Chevrolet Corvette

1996 Chevrolet Corvette

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 6 Speed Manual
Mileage: 20,222 ( undocumented )

We offer this 1996 Chevrolet Corvette for sale in our Atlanta Showroom. This is a clean car fax one owner corvette ready for a new owner to cruise the streets. The C4 Corvette was known for its evolved, sleek and modern look. In a departure from the fiberglass panels of its forbearers, the C4's rear bumpers and panels were made from molding plastics, a sheet molding compound. The C4 fastback coupe was the first general production Corvette to have a glass hatchback (the limited edition 1982 Collector Edition being the first Corvette equipped with this feature) for better storage access. The Corvette C4 came standard with an electronic dashboard with a digital liquid crystal display dash, with graphics for speed and RPM and digital displays for other important engine functions. The C4 represented a clean break from the previous generation of Corvette with a completely new chassis and modern, sleeker styling. Since emissions regulations were still changing and electronic engine management was in its infancy, horsepower was, compared to earlier generations, low. Therefore, the primary design emphasis, at least for the launch, was on handling and braking, with all-independent suspension with light-weight suspension and wheels, and all new brakes with aluminum calipers. The front suspension saw the C3's coil springs replaced by a transverse fiberglass mono-leaf spring, which was only 1/3 of the weight of the coil springs while also introducing an anti-roll bar-like effect on the front.[4] The price of this no-holds-barred emphasis on handling was ride comfort, especially with the Z51 performance and handling package. The C4 did not use separate body-on-frame construction like its predecessors. Instead, it used what GM termed a "uniframe", which consisted of a traditional perimeter frame, with the door posts, windshield frame, halo, and the rear portion of the floor pan integrated into one welded assembly. This was not a unibody assembly, as none of the exterior body panels were structural members. Due to a styling decision to use a targa top instead of T-tops, there was no structural member tying the windshield frame to the halo as on the C3. This required extremely tall side rails on the frame to maintain chassis rigidity, and as a result, the door sills were quite deep, with entry and exit likened by contemporary auto journals to a "fall in and climb out" experience. The targa top bolted into place, becoming a structural component, rather than simply latching on like T-tops. Options include: AC, AM/FM radio, CD Player, Convertible top, cruise control, power brakes, power window, power steering, power locks, tilt wheel, seat belts, driver airbag, passenger airbag, leather interior, radial performance tires, alloy wheels. 1939 Chevrolet Deluxe

1939 Chevrolet Deluxe

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 14,414 ( undocumented )

We offer this 1939 Chevrolet Deluxe Sedan. Well you can throw your ideas of staying out of sight right out the window if you take this 1939 Chevrolet Master Deluxe 2-door sedan home with you. Bright orange paint, flames, a rumbling stroker motor, and all the other stuff that makes hot rods awesome is standard equipment. If you like the look, you're going to love the ride. Over $25,000 was spent on the paint and interior on this car and it shows. The '39 Chevys were always attractive cars, and with a few minor tweaks, this one takes on a slick hot-rod look that's impeccably smooth. The all-steel body did not require major surgery to get to its current astounding condition, just a lot of time invested in the details. Plus block sanding... lots and lots of block sanding. The bright orange paint has a bunch of pearl in it, so there's a glow to it when the light hits it just right, and the incredible flames are so intricate and detailed that they probably took two weeks to paint all by themselves. You'll note that much of the trim was shaved, and the flames lick around the side trim which is still in place, just painted to match the body. The grille appears stock but is actually a fabricated piece that simulates the classic 1939 Chevy V-shaped grille, giving it an updated, smooth look. The windshield was Vee'd, the running boards painted body color and treated to their own flame job, and discreet side mirrors were fitted to the doors. Other smooth tricks include a flush-mounted fuel-filler door and the low-mounted taillights where the bumper used to life. The stunning interior is well beyond your usual hot rod fare, incorporating low-back buckets and more flames to great effect. The tan leatherette upholstery feels upscale and supple, and the modern buckets are all-day comfortable. They brought the orange paint inside, but in small doses so it feels cohesive without being overwhelming, and the custom-made dashboard is absolutely beautiful with its cream-colored gauges. A/C was artfully incorporated into the dash and a powerful AM/FM/CD stereo uses speakers in the custom center console and rear deck to deliver sound. A full-width back seat means this is a family-friendly rod and with a sizeable trunk in back, feel free to hit the road in style. Cruising is effortless, but this Chevy is also downright fast thanks to a 383 cubic inch small block which has been dressed in lots of chrome. The coordination with the bodywork is evident and they really went the extra mile to make it look right, hood up or hood down. Equipment like a 4-barrel carburetor and block-hugger headers help the fast-revving stroker motor build horsepower and with a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission, it's plenty punchy around town. The chassis was reinforced and upgraded with a Mustang II front suspension with rack-and-pinion steering, while out back there's a Ford 9-inch on leaf springs with a beefy sway bar. Disc brakes at all four corners are a sensible upgrade and with new ball joints and shocks in 2011, it rides and drives superbly. 15-inch American Racing wheels polished up nicely and wear 195/60/15 front and fat 225/70/15 rear performance radials. Well-built and not too radical to drive across the country, this very cool '39 Chevy makes a compelling argument for full-sized rods. Options include: Radial tires, tilt wheel, seat belts, alarm system, Aluminum wheels, vinyl interior. To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1967 Chevrolet Camaro

1967 Chevrolet Camaro

Engine: 327 CID V8
Transmission: 2 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 1,614 ( undocumented )

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro. So, we all know how the story goes, Ford produces the iconic pony car known as the Mustang and all the other automakers jumped on the band wagon to cash in on this phenomenon. Mopar had the Challenger/Cuda, AMC had the AMX and GM had the Camaro/Firebird. At one point, the Camaro even out sold the mighty Mustang for pony car supremacy. This Camaro is looking clean & mean with its Blue paint job that looks great and is complimented by the blue interior. The paint job is very clean, no 5-footer paint quality here, it shows very well. The car has been refreshed with new paint, and a healthy drive train. Powering this iconic muscle car is a Chevy 327ci that has a nice lope sound to it. Couple to the 327ci V-8 is a 2-speed automatic transmission. The blue leather & vinyl interior is in great shape and the bucket seats are comfortable. The carpet, headliner, dash, & door panels are also in fantastic condition. 1973 Chevrolet Corvette

1973 Chevrolet Corvette

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 52,201 ( undocumented )

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1973 Chevrolet Corvette for sale. The Vette sports a refreshed engine with top end and heads completed and a 4-speed manual transmission with a new clutch. This is an owner stated numbers matching car with a fresh restoration and many new items. There are a ton of receipts which go with this car and you can tell from the pictures the interior is in great shape. The daytona base coat clear coat is fresh along with the all new interior. The brake system, tires, and exhaust system is new as well. The fuel system, trailing arms, complete front and rear suspension, clutch, convertible top, sound system, and re-chromed bumpers, new body mounts and bushing are all new for the refresh. The Corvette's specialty is clearly stated on its invitation. It's a powerful car, but definitely not a drag racer. The long first gear of its close-ratio transmission makes starting from rest a very demanding job. Instead, the car feels as if it were developed on a road course. No other production sports car is so smooth and manageable at its limits and none will cover for the driver's mistakes as quickly and easily as will the Corvette. It understeers but only a little considering the power it has on tap. And the on-and-off power and the straight-to-curve transitions are gradual and smooth. Consequently, it is a very quick car over the road, faster than any other at the same price. It's comfortable. Everybody fits into the cockpit except for the very tall. The controls are a pleasure to use. But more than anything else, the Corvette's composure in high-speed touring situations must be credited to the design. Options include: AM/FM radio, seat belts, leather interior, rally wheels, and radial tires.
