1977 Toyota Land Cruiser
S O L D

1977 Toyota Land Cruiser

Engine: I-6
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 33,707 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Atlanta showroom is a 1977 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. Toyota started production of the Land Cruiser FJ40 in 1960 and began importing them to the US in 1963. The last US bound FJ rolled off the line in 1983, making a brief comeback as a modern SUV in the US called the FJ Cruiser from 2006 to 2014. From 1963 to 1983 the FJ40 saw little change aesthetically, the only real changes were improvements in technology mechanically. The Classic FJs are as comfortable on a trail as they are on the highway because they were designed to do anything you could ever ask it to do and do it well. The FJ40 is a rugged, two-door, 4x4 vehicle with amazing off-road capabilities, and rather primitive interior treatments. This unit sports a soft top so open-air cruising is a possibility. FJs came without carpet and with vinyl upholstery, so even if you're out in the mud and in the elements, they're easy to keep clean. This is a truck you can literally just hose out. The front sports a separated bench style seat, and the rear has "jump seats" which can be folded aside for more cargo space. Under the hood of this Land Cruiser you'll find the rebuilt original 2F 4.2L inline 6-cylinder engine with owner stated 31,000-miles since, backed up by a 4-speed manual transmission, 4:10 gear ratio, and a 4x4 transfer case. Stout axle’s front and rear and retro off-road tires will take this thing just about anywhere you want to go. This FJ is a 3-owner vehicle, owned by the current for the last 23 years, and states he’s replaced the alternator, coil, distributor, as well as adding a header, weber carburetor, and lift kit. He has included the owner’s manual, wiring diagram, as well as a full set of tech manuals. It runs and drives great and is just begging for mud, rocks, and trails! This FJ would make a great weekend warrior or a daily driver, and will put most new 4x4s to shame off the pavement. Vintage 4x4s are in high demand, and most have rusted away to nothing. Luckily this Toyota has been well preserved and is ready for many more years of duty. To view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and videos, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 2005 Hummer H2

2005 Hummer H2

Engine: 6.0L V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 13,375 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to offer this low mileage 2005 Hummer H2. GM unleashed these off-road behemoths in 2002 as the new age iteration of the original H1. Like the Hummers that preceded it, the H2 maintained its larger than life appearance as well as the off-road performance that made the brand famous. With gas prices through the roof and poor financial planning on the part of GM, the Hummer brand ceased production back in 2009 making these trucks a prime candidate as a future collector’s item. For many of the H2s, their Hummer name was immediately put to the test and with seemingly endless customization options available at the time, owners were quick to modify their H2. The example on offer is likely one of the most original low miles H2 you’ll find. With only around 13000 miles, this H2 remains untouched and would be the perfect addition for a collector. The only modification that was made on this H2 was an upgraded Corsa exhaust with a beautifully subtle sound coming from the 6.2L V8. The exterior is a brilliant classic Black with the factory silver wheels with the full-sized spare mounted to the tailgate. Inside the cabin you’ll find a spacious black leather interior with factory navigation and touch screen. Sitting in the drivers’ seat you’re greeted with all the bells and whistles from the factory giving this off road machine a surprising feeling of high end luxury. In the back there is plenty of room for additional passengers plus an additional third row seat. If you are looking for a future collectors item then be sure this 2005 Hummer H2 is on the list. For more information regarding this beautiful Hummer H2 please call the Chicago Showroom at 708-444-4488 or email us at Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com. Additional photos and HD video of the vehicle running and driving can be found at GatewayClassicCars.com. See more at: http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/CHI/1425/2005-Hummer-H2

1950 Ford Woody

1950 Ford Woody

Engine: 351 Windsor V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 80,875 ( undocumented )

A great deal of time, money, and effort has gone into making this old Ford Woody the perfect cruiser! After the second (current) owner purchased the car back in February of 1988 it was driven for a few years before it underwent a restoration of the wood panels on the car in 1994. Taking over a year to complete by a professional, the woodwork has held up nicely and, to this day it still looks great! Under the hood sits a 351 cubic inch Windsor V8 with only 2,500 miles put on since the professional rebuild by a reputable racing shop. The front suspension was replaced with Mustang II components providing a much nicer ride and premium control. As you slide into the interior that was reupholstered back in 2005, you will feel as if you were transported to a different era. A time in history where it was deemed “okay” to make most of the panels out of wood! Fire up that big V8, drop the transmission into drive, and start to cruise! You can almost hear the “Endless Summer” album by The Beach Boys, playing from the aftermarket stereo. The ride quality is very comfortable and feels safe even at higher speeds. The rack and pinion steering is smooth and much more precise than stock, and the disc brakes will stop you quickly. Everywhere you go, this old Ford is sure to turn heads and be a crowd pleaser! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1950 Ford Woody in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. 1960 Mercury Comet

1960 Mercury Comet

Engine: 302 CID V8
Transmission: 5 Speed Manual
Mileage: 88,741 ( undocumented )

If you are looking for something that stands out in a crowd this 1960 Mercury Comet wagon is for you! Not only does it drive as good as it looks but it has a long list of custom features you will not find on other wagons. No expense was spared on the exceptional paint job when the car was taken down to bare metal and epoxy primed before being painted with the PPG mint green. The top of the car is finished off with a brilliant sliver metal flake. This car has had the door handles shaved and replaced with Lincoln push button and door poppers. Also Underneath the hood of this wagon is 302 cubic inch V8 that came out of a 1992 Ford Mustang GT. Topping off the engine is an Edelbrock carburetor and new HEI GM distributor. Helping you to cruise down the road at lower RPM’s is the 5 speed manual transmission that is paired nicely to the 302. Helping the engine breath is the dual exhaust with Bellflower tips exiting next to the rear fenders. Jamco lowering springs and air shocks with on board air compressor are what give the car it’s one off stance while maintaining the factory ride. There are disc brakes on the front of this car helping it stop better than when it was new. The rear axle is out of a 1968 Ford Mustang that has been rebuilt with 3.25 gears. Speaking of the rear of the car there is a hidden receiver hitch behind the fold down license plate. Completing the custom exterior are a set of vintage 5 lug chrome wheels with spider caps and black painted centers wrapped in new radial tires. This Comet just completed a 1,000 miles road trip to the HAMB drags while getting 23 mpg. 1984 Jeep CJ7

1984 Jeep CJ7

Engine: 4.2L I6 2BL
Transmission: 5-Speed Manual
Mileage: 5,028 ( undocumented )

From the beginning, the CJ line of Jeeps were built for the sole purposes of utility and capability. They are go anywhere vehicles and this 1984 Jeep CJ7 has taken that idea and ran with it! Every part of this Jeep has either been maintained or improved on to make it stand up to whatever you can throw at it. Jeep’s simplicity, versatility, and performance led to a following bordering on fanaticism, and has produced many great Restomods such as the one before you here. The parts list reads more like a dream build, and will satisfy even the most intense Jeep enthusiast. The entire body of this CJ has been Line-x coated to make it very durable to take on any offroad adventure but still has a great gloss to it to look sharp on the road. Keeping with the durable but functional theme of this Jeep are the GenRight rock sliders along with tubular doors that are removable. Up front you’ll find a pair of Lightforce driving lights in combination with a pair of Piaa fog lights and an LED light bar that are all perched on top of a custom offroad bumper that looks like it could go through a brick wall if needed. The Dana 30 front and Dana 20 rear axles are more than up to the task of spinning the 35x12.5 Toyo Open Country mud tires that are wrapped around a set of heavy duty 17 inch Hutchinson bead lock wheels. Hiding inside the axle housings both front and rear are air locking differentials. The 5-speed manual transmission is mounted to the tried and true 360 CID V8. This motor features throttle body injection, an aluminum Be Cool radiator with electric fan, shorty headers flowing into new dual exhaust, and HEI ignition. This stout V8 wedged in the lightweight body of a classic Jeep gives a serious advantage in the power-to-weight category, and is more than enough to motivate this SUV down the road, or up a mountain. Keeping you in control no matter what the terrain is a set of Corbeau racing seats outfitted with 5-point harnesses. Just as many high-performance parts are hiding underneath the armor coated body of this jeep as the rest of it. Bilstein high travel shocks with extra reservoirs outfit all four corners. As well as all of the necessary hardware for the onboard powertank air system. And if somehow, you manage to roll this beauty over while abusing your favorite trail, the front roll bar with frame tie-ins at all six points is there to make sure you live to tell the tale. This CJ-7 has been a serious labor of love for someone, and is ready to be your next adventure buddy. The Typhoon was one of the first of its breed with an auto manufacturer deciding to make a performance vehicle out of an SUV and had a short life span from 1991-1993. Powering these trucks was a 4.3L turbocharged V6 pumping out a strong 280HP from the factory and delivered it to all four wheels! The Typhoon has been a bit of a lost gem until recently and has started to become a very popular vehicle for collectors and enthusiasts everywhere. This Typhoon has been very well kept over the years and has only had two owners since new. The red paint still looks like it did on the showroom floor and very few were built in this color. The all wheel drive hooks up hard and presses you back in your seat with authority. This unassuming pickup will surprise most of the cars it passes and will do so in style and comfort! This SS 454 Tribute wagon is dressed in Victory Red with Polar White SS stripes going down the Cowl Induction hood. All factory style 454 SS badges and stripes are in the proper locations and the Rally wheels are painted to match the Victory Red paint. Powering this wagon is a 468cid Big Block Chevy with oval port 761 cylinder head castings. This is a complete Roller Motor with Hydraulic Roller Cam, Roller Lifters, Forged Internals and Roller Rocker Arms. The air intake is a Team G Single Plane with a 850 Demon Double-Pump Carburetor which is needed to force the right amount of fuel and air into this monstrous Nomad. The big power adder comes courtesy a Procharger D1S-C Supercharger with intercooler and custom powder-coated piping. The transmission is a completely rebuilt TH400 with a B&M 2400 Stall Converter. To make sure this Nomad can translate power to pavement, lots of suspension work has been done to make this Nomad handle like a sports car. The front suspension has B.R.E. Tubular front upper and lower A-Arms and 1” Progressive rate lowering springs. 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Nomad

Engine: 283 CID V-8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 14,021 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is a very cool 1957 Chevrolet Nomad. Tri-Fives have become a symbol of Americana. From four doors, to two doors, to wagons, and convertibles, they're are loveable and enjoyable in their own way. Perhaps the most sought after, is the two door wagon known as a Nomad. The Nomad has a sleeker and sportier look than most wagons with its tilted forward B-Pillars and dramatic sloping rear tailgate. There's no question this sporty wagon has a beautiful silhouette that a whole generation can relate to. This particular Nomad has been spruced up with some tasteful touches, and undergone a very extensive restoration. The exterior is finished in a deep, dark black, with gorgeous stainless bright work down the sides. You would never believe it was done in the early 90’s unless we told you, that’s how good this paint looks. It sits on 15” gold wire wheels, which really make the rest of the gold trim pop off the sides of this car. Pop the hood, you’ll find what is believed to be the original 283 that has been bored 0.060 over with a mild cam in it to give a little extra grunt. The interior is two-tone to match the exterior with a very unique upholstery pattern. They certainly don't make interiors like they used to. This Nomad was restored about 15 years ago and has held up well since. If you're looking for a tri-five that will draw a crowd wherever you go, it's gotta be a Nomad. This Chevy is the perfect mix of high end panache and classic 50’s gusto. To view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and videos, visit: www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Toyota sits in the off-road hall of fame thanks to this vehicle. Toyota rolled out the FJ40 series in 1960 to compete with the likes of Land Rovers, Jeeps, and later the Ford Bronco and Chevrolet K10. The FJ40 was a rugged, two-door, 4x4 vehicle with amazing off-road capabilities, and rather primitive interior treatments. The hard top is removable so open-air cruising is a possibility. FJs came without carpet and with vinyl upholstery, so even if you're out in the mud and in the elements, they're easy to keep clean. This is a truck you can literally just hose out. The front sports a separated bench style seat, and the rear has "jump seats" which can be folded aside for more cargo space. Under the hood of this Land Cruiser you'll find the 2F 4.2L inline 6-cylinder engine, backed up by a 4-speed manual transmission and a 4x4 transfer case. Stout axle’s front and rear and retro off-road tires will take this thing just about anywhere you want to go. This FJ is clean inside and out. All the underside and frame are rust free, and the body panels painted in an olive-green color that give it a very cool almost military feel. This FJ runs and drives great and is just begging for mud, rocks, and trails! This FJ would make a great weekend warrior or a daily driver, and will put most new 4x4s to shame off the pavement. Vintage 4x4s are in high demand, and most have rusted away to nothing. Luckily this Toyota has been well preserved and is ready for many more years of duty. Transmission: 6 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 19,502 ( actual )

For sale in our Dallas Fort Worth showroom is an Urban Assault Vehicle, this highly customized 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. The 35 inch Nitto Trail Grappler MT tires are wrapped around 18x9 XD wheels. Of course with trucks that sit this high, getting in and out can be a challenge to all but the tallest occupants, but the Smittybilt SRC step sliders make it a snap. To ensure this off-road Cadillac is as tough as it looks, the Smittybilt SRC Gen2 front bumper was added with a Warn 12,000k winch, and Bushwacker pocketed fender flares. Then, the whole truck was sprayed in a custom Starwood Grey Metallic Dupont Kevlar, making this Jeep impervious to the elements. The headlights and taillights are JW Speaker LED units. The Rugged Ridge Performance Vented Hood really finished off the aggressive look. Inside, this Jeep transforms from all business to pure driving pleasure with the A/C, AM/FM/CD, GPS navigation, power windows, power locks, and hill descent control. 1956 Chevrolet Nomad LS1

1956 Chevrolet Nomad LS1

Engine: 5.7L LS1
Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 1,450 ( since rebuilt )

There was a time when this 1956 Chevrolet Nomad would have been overlooked for its hardtop siblings, but that day is long gone. Today the Nomad is near the top of every Chevy fan's wish list, and this gorgeous wagon gets a lot of things right: great colors, gorgeous interior, and a fully sorted LS1 drive train that offers more power and more comfort than you could get from the factory in 1956. There's no denying the handsome good looks of this 2-door wagon the simple '56 is the best-looking of the Tri-Five Chevys. This one also carries upscale Bel Air trim (which was the only way you could get a Nomad) that includes that dramatic side spear and all the chrome has been refinished to show standards, so it truly sparkles in the sun. Cross-country haulers just don't get much better than this. The interior has been nicely upgrades with factory seats wearing leather that looks amazing. Things like the dashboard, headliner, door panels and carpets are all nicely upgraded as well, the steering wheel is a wood-rimmed unit that's on a tilt column, and there are little vents tucked under the dash for the modern A/C system which blows ice cold. There's also an AM/FM/AUX radio that sounds pretty darned good and the gauges have been converted to digital. The cargo bay is correctly finished and offers a good deal of storage space, making this a fantastic road trip candidate. The engine is still technically a small block Chevy V8, but the 5.7 liter LS1 V8 from Street and Performance is a far cry from the original 265. It obviously fits beautifully and thanks to fuel injection and hardware, it's as reliable as your daily driver and quite a bit more powerful. The suspension uses OEM parts wherever possible to ensure reliability and easy service. A 4L60E 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission is a big part of the reason this car is such a pleasure to drive and the recent dual exhaust system has a pleasant burble at idle and just enough of an edge on the roll to let you know this isn't a stock Nomad. The undercarriage is quite clean and includes 4-wheel disc brakes, power steering, Power brakes and 17-inch Chrome 5 Spoke wheels wearing 245/45/17 front and rear performance radials. With only 1450 Miles on this restored, it has been fully sorted and ready to enjoy, this car just works like it should. With great looks, a wonderful color combination, and that timeless Nomad appeal, this car delivers in a big way. 1963 Ford Fairlane 427 Drag Wagon

1963 Ford Fairlane 427 Drag Wagon

Engine: 427 CID V8 425HP
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 67,561 ( undocumented )

Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this stunning 1963 Ford Fairlane Drag Wagon. The name is derived from Henry Ford's estate, Fair Lane, near Dearborn, Michigan. This 1963 Ford Fairlane wagon has been a drag racer in the Pacific Northwest for many years.it has extensive race history with Oregon Ford Dealers association,a very historic car that spent a lot of its life owned by Ford motor company and was on Ford’s race team it was restored a couple years ago with all decals placed in original location. After it's time with Ford, it was later sold to Mooneyes Equipment, raced in Oregon, California, and even Japan! We have seen many Thunderbolt Tributes, but never one based on a wagon, and this one is even better because it has real history. It has a modernized engine, yet the exterior retains older paint and graphics. Fantastic! The car sits right and the staggered steel wheels with long Moroso studs, which cannot be beat. The rear suspension and wide 11.5" Mickeys are nicely tucked underneath and don’t really hint at their increased capability. The red interior offers a nice contrast and doesn’t dig the Sun sweep tachometer on the dash and the roll-bar that extends back into the cargo area. The stock bench and steering wheel look great! The engine is the best part of the car and sets it apart from the small blocks we typically seen in wannabe T-bolts and Fairlane drivers. It combines a 427 block with twin 600 CFM carbs under a proper looking airbox and T-bolt headlight duct system. The transmission is a built C6. If you’re ready to stand out in a crowd or simply haul “butt” away from them, this is the vehicle for you! To view this in 1963 Ford Fairlane, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1985 Jeep CJ7 350 CID V8

1985 Jeep CJ7 350 CID V8

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 137,820 ( actual )

Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this exciting 1985 Jeep CJ7! Is it time for your Jeep adventure? It's hard to argue that this 1985 Jeep CJ7 with a small block Chevy V8 conversion, a thundering stereo, upgraded interior, and a heavy-duty suspension can deliver a great experience. It retains all that's awesome about Jeep's all-time favorite 4x4 and adds more of everything you want: power, style, and comfort. The CJ7 has been the off-roading weapon of choice for decades. This one has upgrades in all the right places to get you anywhere you want to go. The upgrades start with 350 cu in Chevy conversion. This conversion was enhanced with a Comp Cam XR 258HR cam for a wide torque range, Edelbrock intake and carb, JEGS SSR Billet Distributor, all culminating in to Hedman headers and a Flowmaster dual exhaust. All this power is cooled by an aluminum radiator which is ideal for crawling along at low speeds. Stopping power comes from an upgraded dual master cylinder with power assist. The drivetrain upgrade starts with a Chevy TH350 transmission driving the rock solid Jeep transfer case. From here it just keeps getting better, CV type rear drive shaft, single piece axles with welded tubes, 4.10 Yukon gears, Detroit Lockers and new Warn front locking hubs. To deliver the horses to the trail, polished aluminum wheels with BFGoodrich Radial All-Terrain T/A tires do the work. The suspension has been renewed and upgraded with Bilstein shocks all around. A steering stabilizer and dampener have been added to help track smoothly down the road. The tub was been refinished with bright silver paint to give it a new look, complete with "Honey Badger" graphics on the flanks and bright blue accents on the hood and sides. Finish quality is not car show level, but is good with no rust in the usual spots - just right for a vehicle destined to spend its life playing in the mud. It is not a trailer queen, so don't worry about getting dirt on it or even plunging into the brush, it looks great in any environment. It can be configured in to the full open-air experience Jeepers love or you can quickly add tube door bars for enhanced safety. It can also be configured with its Bestop soft top or in to a “Little Pick-up” configuration with tonneau top, windjammer and bikini top. Fender flares have been added to cover the oversized rubber, and it has been raised a few inches, but heavy-duty Rhino step bars and grab handles make it easy to climb aboard. The “armoring up” continues with rock sliders, and Rugged Ridge XHD recovery bumpers front and rear. To help you get out of those tough spots, a Rugged Ridge Extreme Duty 8,500 lbs synthetic line winch has been installed and ready to go to work. The interior features two-tone high-back sport seats that really help hold you in place during rough going. They're more comfortable than the usual Jeep seats and look sharp in the open cockpit of the CJ7. The instrument panel has been reworked to use Auto Meter Phantom instruments to monitor the engine's vitals, along with simple indicator lights and switches for the auxiliary controls. A wood-rimmed Grant GT steering wheel seems appropriate in this case, and a floor mounted B&M shifter controls the TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. For those stops with friends on the trail, there's AM/FM/CD stereo with an amplifier and subwoofer enclosure in the cargo area. This entertainment system provides the atmosphere for those trail stops where the tall tales are shared. This Jeep is improved in all the areas where it really matters. It is ready to spend the weekend on the trail, play in the sun at the beach and get you to work on Monday. To view this vehicle in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and videos, visit our website at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information on this 1985 Jeep CJ7, email us at dallas@gatewayclassiccars.com or call 817-310-9400.
