The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro. So, we all know how the story goes, Ford produces the iconic pony car known as the Mustang and all the other automakers jumped on the band wagon to cash in on this phenomenon. Mopar had the Challenger/Cuda, AMC had the AMX and GM had the Camaro/Firebird. At one point, the Camaro even out sold the mighty Mustang for pony car supremacy. This Camaro is looking clean & mean with its Blue paint job that looks great and is complimented by the blue interior. The paint job is very clean, no 5-footer paint quality here, it shows very well. The car has been refreshed with new paint, and a healthy drive train. Powering this iconic muscle car is a Chevy 327ci that has a nice lope sound to it. Couple to the 327ci V-8 is a 2-speed automatic transmission. The blue leather & vinyl interior is in great shape and the bucket seats are comfortable. The carpet, headliner, dash, & door panels are also in fantastic condition. If you been looking to get into a nice rust free 1st Gen Camaro, but not break the bank doing it, call us before it’s in somebody else’s garage. For sale in our Chicago showroom is this very rare 2002 Chevrolet Camaro. While production for 2002 was 42,098 total Camaros built, this example is believed to be a one of one. While COPO cars have certain exclusivity about them, this example is a double-COPO car making it even more exclusive. The vehicle was custom ordered from a dealership and immediately shipped to SLP and had a full performance package installed. During this time, the owner met Matt Murphy of GMMG and arranged to have the vehicle receive the second COPO package before taking delivery. The Camaro was originally given an LS1 rated at 325 horsepower, but through SLP and GMMG has been upgraded to 380 rated horsepower, but most reports claim this to be conservative. This is believed to be the only 380 horsepower model with the 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission. Starting from an already impressive base car, many upgrades were done to the entire car. A self-arming kill-switch was installed to reduce the risk of having this beauty stolen, an SLP serialized plaque and a GMMG serialized plaque were added to prove its authenticity, and several signatures have been placed on the vehicles inner fender. Power was increased via a number of modifications including 3.73 rear gear ratio on an Auburn limited-slip differential, under drive pulleys on the engine, a custom exhaust, Bilstien performance springs, shocks, and bushings, and a custom computer tune to make all the added equipment work together without issue. Being a one of one certainly makes this one rare-oh Camaro! Options include Air-Conditioning, AM/FM/CD, T-tops, Cruise-Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Windows, Anti-Lock Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Traction Control, Keyless Entry, Seat Belts, Drivers Airbag, Anti-Theft System, Leather Interior, Alloy Wheels, and a Numbers Matching engine and transmission. For more information on this stunning final-year double-COPO Camaro contact our Chicago showroom at (708) 444-4488 or Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com. Engine: 6.2L V8 SFI OHV 16VTransmission: 6-Speed ManualMileage: 2,156 ( actual )
For sale in our Chicago showroom is this incredible 2010 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS. While the 5th generation of the Camaro still has plenty of years to become a “collectible,” this particular example got a bit of a head start. This is not only one of the 50 “Early Order” package Camaros, it is believed to be the first 5th generation Camaro delivered in North America! Of course, it is an RS/SS, giving it the beastly 6.2L LS3, and GM did this one right with a 6-speed manual transmission. With a factory rating just north of 400 horsepower at the crankshaft, the owner of this early build wanted to really make the car something special. Several hands were laid on the vehicle, including Aaron Kaufman most known from Gas Monkey Garage (see his signature in the engine compartment!) to turn this standard RS/SS into a fire-breathing monster churning out an otherworldly 540 rear-wheel horsepower naturally aspirated! All that power does no good if it can’t get to the ground, so a set of actual Copo Camaro rims was sourced with a set of Mickey Thompson ET Streets to get the job done. Everyone loves to go fast, and plenty of people like to look good, but the seller of this car refuses to have his cars look anything less than breathtaking. The original GM paint looks good from the factory, but good wasn’t good enough. After 60+ hours on the factory paint job wet sanding, buffing, and otherwise correcting the work of two-robots, you see the masterpiece presented here. Get within 15 feet of this car, and you can almost feel it’s presence. Turn the key and hear the beast wake with an angry growl. With just over 2,100 miles, this early 2010 is practically brand new! This stout Camaro will teach any show car a thing or two, and will impress almost anyone who sees it. Options include: AM/FM/CD, Cruise Control, Lumbar Support, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Jack, Power Windows, Anti-Lock Brakes, Tilt/Telescopic Steering Wheel, Traction Control, Keyless Entry, Ride Control, Power Mirrors, Drivers Airbag, Passengers Airbag, Rear Airbags, Anti-Theft System, Cloth Interior, Radial Tires, Racing Wheels, and a PosiTraction Rear Axle. Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is excited to offer this highly modified 1970 Chevrolet Camaro. In 1967 we saw the introduction of the Camaro, Chevy’s answer to the Ford Mustang. Just three years into production Chevrolet brought us a total redesign of the car, ushering in the infamous split bumper design. The car on offer is far from what it was when it came from the factory. This is a purpose built road/track car. Underneath this eye popping Orange exterior you’ll find a multitude of performance upgrades since it was built in south Georgia around 8 years ago. Powering this beast is a built 406 Small Block Chevy engine mated to a T56 6-Speed Transmission. Performance modifications include AFR Cylinder heads, Comp Cams Xtreme Energy Cam, Edelbrock Air gap intake, Demon 625 carburetor, and Professional Products Harmonic balancer. Making sure the transmission can handle all the added power a Mcleod billet Flywheel and hydraulic clutch were added; the transmission then connects to the custom Aluminum driveshaft sending power to the Strange Ford 9” with 4.11 gears. Helping the car make tight corners are BMR upper and lower front control arms, BMR rear torque arm and AFCO remote reservoir double adjustable shocks. The carbon fiber hood and deck lid from Anvil Auto make for an aggressive look contrasting against the bright Orange exterior. Adding to its menacing look are the staggered Black Formula 43 RAD S5 wheels measuring 18x9 upfront and 18x12 in the back. Inside the car you’ll find an original styled interior with custom tan leather bucket seats and a 4 point roll cage. You can listen to the radio cruising down the highway or roll down the windows to hear the roar of the Magnaflow exhaust as you blast around the racetrack. If you are looking for a unique car that you can drive to the track, set some nice lap times and drive home, then look no further. Engine: 350 CID V8Transmission: 4 Speed ManualMileage: 64,144 ( undocumented )
For sale in our Chicago showroom is a fantastic example of a near stock 1980 Z28 Camaro in excellent condition inside and out. Equipped with the 350 5.7L V8 engine matched to a 4 speed Manual transmission, makes for a rare and hard to find model Z28 Camaro. This is a low mileage car with only 64K on the speedo. A few neat things about the 1980 Camaro. The Z28 hood included a rear-pointing raised scoop (air induction) with a solenoid operated flap which opens at full throttle, allowing the engine to breath better resulting in better engine perfomance. Also a federally mandated 85 mph speedometer also debuted this year, pretty funny considering the vehicles actual performance ability. It was equipped with a unique upper and lower front grill and smaller revised graphics on its doors. The side scoops were also changed from a louvered design to a flatter one with a single opening. The 350 cu in (5.7 L) V8 was only available on the Z28 this year. This aggressive but vintage interior is still in great condition. Have a seat behind the wheel turn on the cold A/C, and strap yourself into the Rallye inspired high back split bucket seating. The 4 speed manual transmission makes this an extremely fun car to drive, and allows for some serious interaction between car and driver. It will definetly make you appreciate the stick shift as you run through the gears and hear the great sound of the exhasut and the smell of burning rubber! Two owner survivor, with only 9,340 original miles! This Camaro is nearing the age of becoming a classic believe it or not, and is the one of the very first years that Chevrolet was putting in the much more powerful LS1 that has gained in popularity since its release in 1997. Most of these Camaros have been used and abused over the years with many getting converted into race cars and heavily modified making these more rare than ever to find unmolested. If you have never driven an LS1 Camaro, you would be astonished at the power output and how sporty these cars truly were for their day. The sleek lines on this Camaro keep you sitting low in the car and the wide body help it corner better than the older generations. The original window sticker is still with the car and was purchased brand new back in 1998 for a hair of $30,000 and is still nearly in the exact same shape as when it rolled off the showroom floor. The original owner owned it almost twenty years while caring for it and starting up on occasion to make sure everything stays in working order. Given the trend of the older Camaros, this one will surely become a legend in time and rival the best of them. If you are looking for a great investment piece or would just like to find a truly original fourth generation Camaro, look no further than this beauty! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1998 Chevrolet Camaro in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com.
