Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this unbelievably custom 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air. The 55 Chevy Bel-Air is arguably one of the best-looking cars ever built. There clean lines and finless design make them great candidates for full on custom builds. Art Morrison started out building frames for tubbed out drag cars in the 70’s and 80’s but the company really took off when he began building his line of pro-touring chassis’. This 55 is sitting on one of his custom-built frames which not only looks good but increases the handling of the car dramatically. Finished off in the same Erica red paint as the body making the transition from floor pan to frame almost seamless. With touches of chrome here and there to break it up you can tell this was a well thought out build. The stance of the car was also dramatically changed due to the chassis as well with it sitting much lower than a stock 55. The wheels will be the next thing you notice with the set consisting of 18’s in the front and 20’s in the back giving the car that aggressive look. Behind those wheels are a set of chrome plated calipers that blend nicely while the cross-drilled and slotted rotors show people you mean business. Under that silky-smooth hood is was most consider the Mecca of LS powerplants. This LS7 has been built with a mild cam giving it a nice lope at idle but the real work is in the details. The intake has been painted to match with the custom firewall being cleaned up which flows into the custom inner fender wells. A custom piece of metal was formed to cover up the radiator as well making this engine bay look seamless like the rest of the car. Putting power to the road is a built 4l60 transmission giving you the capability to drive this beauty down the freeway comfortably at highway speeds. Inside the custom touches are extensive with the dash being made from one piece of metal as well. The gauges and AC vents are molded into that custom dash as well keeping with that flowing design. The leather wrapped seats are extremely comfortable while the Lokar shifter sits perfectly in the custom-made console. When Porsche introduced the 911 Turbo in 1975, they had essentially created a homologation special that was meant to sell 400 copies in a 24-month period. After they sold five times as many in that two years, they turned the project over to their marketing department, who took the 917/30 CAN-AM 3.0L and applied the technology to the Carrera RS 3.0. Porsche called it the 930 and almost immediately, it became the meanest car on the street. Rebuilt at Precision Engines LLC, this fully balanced mill utilizes a forged SCAT crank, forged SCAT rods, SRP pistons and a Bullet Trans Am-spec cam to twist stout 11 to 1 compression into 344 dyno-proven horsepower! At the top of the 302 small block, Holley carburetors mix fuel from fresh stainless fluid lines with oxygen that’s piped through a chrome, cowl-fed air cleaner. Behind those carburetors, modern electronic ignition sequences spark through fresh Packard TV R Suppression Cables. And at the sides of that ignition, authentic ‘double hump’ heads hang bright chrome valve covers over roller tip rocker arms and professionally restored exhaust manifolds. When fired, the infamous V8 snarls and barks like a real competition piece. Its ancillary components are top-notch in every way, with fresh GM hoses and a correct Delco Moraine brake booster accompanying a reproduction Delco battery. And an even combination of Chevy Orange engine skin and Satin Black fender framing is accented by clean and appropriate decals. the best set up the Camaro offered was a tough Muncie transmission and track-worthy 4.56 rear end. This coupe’s correct 4-speed, which is equipped with a fresh clutch and flywheel, twists a shortened A-Body pumpkin that’s packed with new Moser axles, a proven Eaton posi and 4.56 Richmond gears. That first-rate drivetrain is held off the ground by a completely rebuilt, high performance suspension, which includes 4-piston, Corvette-style brakes, tuned front coils, multi-leaf rears and reproduction shocks. That suspension is dissected by an aluminized, true-dual exhaust system, which is fitted with a correct, transversely mounted muffler. That exhaust system is framed by clean floors which perfectly highlight a new stainless fuel tank, fresh stainless fluid lines and a variety of chip-free chassis components. Those floors roll on 15-inch Rally wheels, which spin E70-15 Goodyear Wide Tread GTs around correct stainless center caps and dent-free trim rings. Inside, the Standard Red interior illustrates the true, no frills intentions of Chevrolet’s hallowed Z/28. Its bucket seats were restored with new backs, new foam and reproduction covers that look and feel fantastic. In front of those seats a stainless-trimmed dash, which exhibits no signs of warping or peeling, hangs rebuilt telemetry above a clean radio delete. At the base of that dash, great looking carpet centers a chrome Hurst shifter between four color-keyed floor mats. That seat, dash and flooring trifecta is framed by a tight headliner and standard, stainless-trimmed door panels. In front of the driver, Chevrolet’s classy Rosewood steering wheel spins satin spokes around a red, white and blue centerpiece. And behind the passengers, the car’s solid trunk has been correctly restored with new paint, a new mat, fresh decals and a full-size spare tire. This 1954 Chevrolet Corvette is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. When initially released in 1953 the Corvette was intended to compete with the smaller European sports cars of that era. Harley Earl developed the initial design which was sleek smaller 2 seat sports car that looked amazing and caught everyone’s attention, but the price would seem to be a major setback. Having that said GM would only sell 3640 units in 1954 making these extremely collectible today. This particular beauty has been treated to a yearlong frame off restoration with pictures and receipts included with the sale. Once completed the car was driven for about 600 miles and put on display at the Corvette museum in Bowling Green KY for enthusiasts to enjoy. The body was taken off and stripped down and then painted back to its original white color which still looks amazing today. With all of the chrome either replaced or brought back to its original luster it easy to see why so many caught the Corvette bug. The frame was treated to the same process which not only insured the structural integrity but gave the underneath a fresh and clean look. The original, numbers matching, blue flame six was cleaned up with the original 2 speed power glide given the same treatment. With the engine and transmission back together, they were placed back onto that freshly painted frame. With the body completed it was dropped back onto the frame giving this 1954 Corvette its new lease on life. The red interior was the last step with the red really popping against that white exterior. The tan convertible top is in excellent shape and shows well but this car was meant to be seen with the top down. Press the button between the seats and place the top in the hidden storage area and the 1954 Corvette has the look of a true roadster. When it is all said and done this Corvette is sure to make the next owner a very happy person. For sale in our Louisville showroom is a 1959 Chevrolet Corvette. This beautiful 1959 Corvette is the stuff legends are made of. All date codes are correct as this 1959 Chevrolet decodes as being built in the 1st week of 1958, 283 V8, Borg Warner 4-speed, 3:70 limited slip rear end with radio delete. This Corvette has received Top Flight award from the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS). This award was created by NCRS in 1974 to recognize cars that have been preserved or restored to the highest level of achievement through the NCRS Flight Judging Process. In other word only the best of the best can achieve this award. To attain this highest of high awards, this 1959 Corvette has gone through a complete restoration. Every surface has been stripped clean, refurbished and then repainted. All the gaskets, seals, bearings and the wiring has been replaced. The numbers matching 283 CID V8 engine with dual carburetors (rated at 270 HP) has been completely rebuilt. The matching Borg Warner manual 4-speed transmission and 3:70 geared rear end have also been completely rebuilt. A quick peek under the hood is just not enough. With the attention to detail, this gorgeous Corvette looks just like it would have in 1959, right down to the radio delete option. That’s right, this is a no frills American Sports car and in 1959 it was all about speed. The interior is all new with the original instrumentation (gauges) being rebuilt with new faces, hands and lenses. All the glass is new and it has been date coded to match the build date as well. This 1973 AMC Javelin is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. This 1973 Javelin is unlike any other one on the road. With its apocalyptic theme and Trans Am racer styling this has to be one of the coolest you have seen. The front of the Javelin was treated to a handmade front spoiler which is where the theme starts. Followed onto the front grill with the original parking lights mounted on both sides while the modern LED lights were fitted into the original headlight bezels. The orange satin color is courtesy of a 3M wrap which is a lot more durable than any paint job. The grey stripes over the hood compliment the metal work with AMC and LSX imprinted in them. The rear of the car has been treated to a wide body kit allowing for the monster 335 tires to be placed under the fenders. The rear has been blacked out with the spoiler giving the rear end that trans am racer look. Pop the hood and all you see is custom metal work. From the engine cover to the firewall they nailed the apocalyptic theme. The LS3 engine that lies underneath that metalwork has been outfitted with a cam while a custom tune gets the most out of this small block. Mated up to a T56 6 speed with an ACT twin disc clutch making it extremely durable while having a great pedal feel. The custom 9” rear end has been stuffed Nitro gear and Axle shafts giving you confidence when you want to drop the clutch and lay down some fresh black stripes. Bringing everything to screeching holt is a Wilwood big brake kit with a set of 6 piston calipers upfront and a 4 piston in the rear this is one Javelin that will stop on a dime. The suspension on the car with adjustability in mind and thanks to QA1 coil over front and rear the possibilities are endless. Inside the theme is continued with the rear of the car blocked off by the same metal work while the kicker speakers are loud enough to overcome the exhaust note from that nasty LS3. The gauges go perfectly with the interior complimenting the build nicely. The roll cage not only looks great but adds that extra layer of protection with the harnesses keeping you in the seat in case the unfortunate happens. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this unbelievably rare 2014 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350. The GT350 was Shelby’s first entry into the Mustang market and boy did he do it right. Available only in Wimbledon white with blue stripes these fastbacks are still some of the most sought-after cars in the collector car world. In 2011 the legend would return but with an extremely limited run of only 350 cars over a 3-year span with the end date being December 31st, 2013. This wicked red convertible was 1 of 1 that year as they only made 8 in 2014, but with its 624HP supercharged engine, it is the most wicked of the bunch. The Race Red paint with those classic white stripes is a definite eye catcher and is by far my favorite of the bunch. Pop open the hood and you will see what has become quite a phenomenon in the car world. The Coyote motor is capable of 440HP straight from Ford but in true Shelby fashion that was not good enough. This one has been upgraded all the way to 624 mind numbing HP that you feel every time you turn the key. Matched up to the Getrag MT82 6 speed is a dream come true allowing the driver complete control of every of every shift. The electronic steering gives great feed back yet can be driven with one finger. Peek thru those black wheels and you will see the Wilwood brakes staring back at you. Inside Shelby has had its touch on the interior as well with the leather seats being reupholstered with the classic GT350 logo stitched into the headrest. The huge touchscreen is a nice feature and shows how far these cars have come in the past 50 years. Hit the button for the drop the top so you can show off that beautiful interior. The roll bar looks great and lets people know that this is not just any Mustang. This GT350 has all accommodating paperwork including the Shelby certification, and original window sticker. This absolutely gorgeous custom built 1937 Ford Cabriolet street rod is proudly on display and for sale in our Louisville Showroom. Fresh off the ISCA show circuit this award winning ’37 Ford Cabriolet is simply drop dead gorgeous. Starting with a fresh fiberglass body from Wild Rod, which many consider to be one best fiberglass body’s produced; subtle changes were made before any color was ever applied. After all, to stand out, you gotta have subtle yet tasteful changes. A set of Prowler headlights in the front with tear drop tail lights and a 3rd brake light cut into the trunk lid have been added. The gorgeous two paint scheme is a color combination of Raisin Cane and Champagne Fizz. For the less initiated we’ll just call it Tan & Brown. To break the colors up and give it that little pizazz is a gold leaf stripe. Finishing off the look is a set of Chrome Ridler wheels. The fronts are 17 inch wheels wrapped in 225/45/17 BF Goodrich radials and the rears are 20 inch wheels wrapped in 295/45/20 BF Goodrich radials. Under the hood, the GM ZZ4 350 Crate just oozes with chrome. The potent small block Chevy has been mated with a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission for reliability and cruising efficiency. A Ford 9 inch rear end loaded with 3.52 gears gives this hot rod quick launches with bullet proof reliability. Inside this show winning Cabriolet, the interior is adorned with tan leather on the seats and door panels. The remainder of the interior is painted in the same color as the top of the Cabriolet. This 1957 Chevrolet Nomad is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The two door Nomad took a completely different approach to a station wagon than many of the era. With its styling cues being basically that of a 2 door hardtop the Nomad would enjoy the same success as the tri fives that it was based off of. Much like the 2 door hardtop models the Nomad is one of the coolest platforms to resto mod. This 57 has been built to enjoy and drive on a daily basis while taking it to high level car shows on the weekend. After a long and well thought out 5 year build the transformation was complete. The body was taken off the original frame and taken down to bare metal before being placed on a powder coated custom frame. The copper gold paint is slick and looks great while keeping with that classic 57 look. Using C4 corvette suspension the ride is sporty with the Bilstein shocks handling anything you can throw at it. The rack and pinion steering is crisp and light feeling with the custom wheels adding to the look and feel. With 4 wheel disc brakes bringing everything to halt in a hurry. Under the hood is all business with aFuel Injected Ram Jet 502 crate motor filling up the engine bay perfectly. Outfitted with Sanderson headers the exhaust note lets everyone know that there is no small block under that hood. Keeping everything at the right temp is an all-aluminum Be Cool Radiator that looks as good as it works. The 4l80e transmission routes the power to a Dana 44 rear end which has a set of 3.45’s in it making this a well suited highway hauler. The interior is a mix of classic and new with the painted dash filled with a set of custom gauges look great while being super functional. The white and black bench seat is period correct with the matching door panels tying it all together. Of course, the power windows are always nice especially when it gets a little too hot and the AC needs to be kicked on. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1988 BMW E30 M3. The M3 was originally introduced to battle head to head with Mercedes in Group A Touring Car racing. Little did they know it would become one of the most notable cars from the 80’s. In recent years collectors have took notice driving the prices of these beautiful European racers through the roof and still climbing. This example is an extremely original 88 E30 M3 owned by the same gentleman until recently being liquidated due to unforeseen reasons. The new owner has gone through the car and has it running in tip top shape. The silver paint has been massaged back to its original luster with the car looking like it has 6000 miles instead of the 56000. The aftermarket wheels are the only thing not original to the car but were the must have on these cars when they were released. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1964 Plymouth Belvedere with a period correct 426 Cross-ram HEMI is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Belvedere name was first used on the new Hardtop body style on the Cranbrook line in 1951. In 19654 it replaced the Cranbrook as the top trim level and became a full model line with sedans, wagons, and convertibles all adorning the nameplate. It would go on as Plymouth’s full-sized car until 1965 when it became the intermediate until being abandoned all together after 1970. What most people will remember about the Belvedere however is it was the first production vehicle to come from the factory with the now legendary 426 HEMI. It is believed that only 35 legal street cars were produced making these cars one of the rarest MOPAR’s to ever leave the assembly line. An original Wedge car was found in AZ and hauled back to KY for its 4-year six figure build. The body of the car was straight and rust free, so minimal body work was required. Painted in the classic white paint this jewel is guaranteed to be in style long after were gone. The real deal aluminum hood is a highly sought-after piece that took quote some time to source. Under that huge hood scoop is really what we are here to talk about, the elephant in the room if you will, and I mean that literally. The engine was pieced together after many years of research from the original aluminum cross ram intake to the chrome valve covers this 426 is a real deal 12.5:1 ground pounding monster. The Carter carbs were not used as the Holley’s are considered to be a much more reliable setup and are the ones used on the 4-barrel model. With all that power to tame a bullet proof transmission was needed and just like in 64 the 833 4-speed was the go to piece. The rear-end would see the same consideration with an 8.75 rear being used but with a very respectable 3.55 being instead of the 4.56 that were found on most of these drag strip killers. The interior was the last piece of the puzzle but after 3 years the build was coming to an end. The bench seat upfront is exactly what you would you have seen in 1964 with the 4-speed shifter hugged up close and personal to the driver’s leg. It would prove to be the perfect position with your hand almost naturally falling right on to the handle you really couldn’t ask for anything better. The blue vinyl is correct and what should be in a 64 although the factory racers used van bucket seats. All in all, if you want one of the most radical production cars to ever leave Detroit this 64 Belvedere is it. This 2002 AM General Hummer H! is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Hummer, Humvee, H1 or whatever crazy name you want to call it has always been a symbol of patriotic spirit. With its unbelievable off-road talent and sheer size, it is intimidating sitting still to say the least. If you have ever wanted to just run over the guy doing 20 in a 45 this would be the vehicle to do it in. Of course, you wouldn’t want to mess up the slick black paint. With a clean vehicle history report this beast has not seen any accidents. With a ton of extras like the full-size roof rack and the soft half top for the bed this thing is loaded. The huge aluminum wheels have been recently fitted with a set of new and massive 40x13.5 tires guaranteed to get you out of any slippery situation. Of course, just in case the huge 12000 LB winch is there to guarantee safe passage all while at the comfort of the driver’s seat. The brush guards only add to the overall appearance and give the front end that exclamation point that these massive trucks need. Naturally when your moving over 7000 pounds of raw Americana you need some power so under the hood is the original 6.5L Diesel with some tasteful mods to give it just a little extra oomph. The performance computer with the mechanical waste gate set at 15lbs gives this monster a noticeable difference in useable power. Added sound deadening in the doors and floor help to quiet down the cabin noise considerably. The real glass is tinted and when I say tinted I mean the glass is that color not some film on it. The genuine leather seats will make you feel like you’re in a high-end exotic instead of some 7000-lb. tank. Plus, no complaints about the leather being cold since they do have warmers. The list just goes on and on with this ultra-luxurious piece of American Steel. Don’t think too long as these are on everyone’s wish list and with this one being as loaded as they come it won’t last long. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this true 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS/Z28. In 66 the SCCA started a new series of racing aimed at the new emerging market of the Pony cars. Ford had their Mustangs hopped up by Carroll Shelby and pretty much dominated the series. It would be a different story in 67 with the release of Chevy's Camaro. In order to play by the Trans Am rules Chevy had designed a completely new motor, the 302. A high revving small block that had plenty of horsepower it would turn out to be one of the most iconic engines to ever come out of GM. Due to these high RPM's the motors were prone to blowing up. Unlike today rev limiters were not around so a missed shift could spell disaster. This Z/28 has had an amazing life. Owned by only 3 people the car is very original. As with many of these the block, crank, and pistons were all replaced under warranty. The original owner sold the car shortly thereafter to the second owner who in 1979 took the car a part to begin a restoration. Life happened and the car sat until 2014 when the current owner purchased the car He went through the car completely from freshening up the heads while giving it a valve job right down to fixing all and any rust issues. Painted back to its original green with white racing stripes it is factory correct. During the process all bright work was polished out back to its original luster. New OEM emblems were placed on the car getting back to factory. All of the glass is original but all of the rubber seals were no good so a whole set was ordered and installed making this Camaro seal up nicely. The motor was pulled and taken apart with the heads shipped off to Dixon racing. They placed new valve springs, seals, and one intake valve making them good as new. The block was cleaned and checked for wear while the crank was polished. New bearings, cam and rods were all installed with a new set of rings making this a complete rebuild. The double roller timing chain and oil pump were both replaced just for good measure. The clutch wasn't quite up to par so a whole new assembly was installed. The original Muncie Close Ratio 4 speed was all checked out while the 12 bolt posi rear end completes this drive train. The interior is all original to this car and shows excellent with no major signs of wear it is hard to believe it's almost 50 years old. Courtesy of the RS option are the iconic hideaway headlights that actually work. The whole system was replaced and is now in excellent working condition. With the pony wars back in full force the original Trans am racers are going for huge money. Though this one has a factory replaced block everything else is correct on the car and with this one being Z/28 RS car the value is sure to do nothing but increase. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback S-Code. The 1967 Mustang Fastback has gone down as one of the must iconic cars of its era. The sweeping lines and big block engines available only make these cars more desirable and the reason they still bring premium money today. This example left the factory, as verified by the Mart report, with a 390 under the hood also known as an s-code. Taken done and built form the ground up the car is now packing a bored and stroked 390 with a total displacement of 445 cubic inches now giving this car a whole new level of power. Taken from a 69 T-Bird the motor now only has 500 miles on it since it was installed. The built c6 transmission handles all that power nicely shifting through all 3 gears without hesitation. The Ford 9-inch rear end has a 3.25 gear set making the car a pleasure to drive on the back roads and good enough to cruise down the highway. With the posi traction allowing for both rear wheels to lay down rubber at will. With the Grab-a-trac suspension gone through and rebuilt the car handles as if it was racing down the road in 1967. The upgraded Wilwood disc brakes bring this Pony to screeching holt just in case you right foot becomes a little too heavy. The paint on the car is slick and been taken back its original red with the base coat clear coat giving it an even deeper look. The ram air hood lets everyone know that this isn’t your average pony especially with the rumbling from that stroked out big block under the hood. A look inside shows that the original style parchment interior has been used giving the car that factory look. The magnum 500 wheels finish the car off nicely and were one the best wheels to leave the factory. If you have been wanting a great S-Code but a with a little more oomph this red rocket should do the trick. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. The ZR1 badge was introduced in 1970 as a special engine package for the LT1 small block. It included solid lifter cams, heavy duty 4 speed manual transmission, aluminum radiator, and a couple other goodies for handling. The next generation ZR1 was introduced in 1990 and was developed through a partnership with Lotus. The result was one of the most exhilarating cars of the 90’s with a price tag to match. Production would end in 1995 but only after the ZR1 broke seven international and world records including running at almost 176 MPH for 24 hours clocking 4221 miles. The next iteration was revealed on December 19th, 2008 and it would put the others to shame. This example is just that a first year run that is sure to be the most sought after of the 5-year run. The first thing you notice on any ZR1 is that huge bulge in the hood. Upon closer inspection you notice the clear plexi-glass in the middle revealing the now legendary Supercharged LS9 engine. The next thing you notice is the finished Carbon Fiber everywhere where on the car. From the roof to the front spoiler there is an absolute ton of this extremely expensive lightweight material on this black beauty. The best part is you don’t notice it until you are right up on it. With less than 3500 miles on this ZR1 you are assured that this thing is ready to be taken out and enjoyed. The high performance 6 speed manual transmission is not for the faint of heart as you will need to actually “DRIVE” this beast. The chrome wheels really set off the deep black paint and put a well-earned exclamation point on this one. Unlike the original these ZR1’s come fully loaded with every amenity you can think of making this a respectable daily driver if need be. The black leather seats wrap them selves around you giving you that extra vote of confidence in the corners. Hit the button for the selective ride control to soften up the ride or turn to sport and start carving those back roads. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville proudly presents this awesome 1932 Ford Sedan Street Rod for sale. This ’32 Ford Sedan is definitely a throwback to way cooler times. While most modern-day street rods sport a Mustang II style front suspension, this old girl has a chromed solid drop axle and spindles. Steering is handled by a Schroeder side steer unit. The long steering rod has been drenched in chrome as well and really pops against the bright red sheet metal. The Sedan has been chopped 1 ½ inches and channeled another inch to give it a nice sleek and low look. Steel wheels have been color matched to the body, then dressed out with chromed center caps and beauty rings. The wheels have been wrapped in wide whitewall bias ply Firestone tires to finish off the classic 50’s hot rod look. Under the hood of this old school hot rod is a Buick 401 Nail Head engine. The engine has been dressed out with dual chrome weber carburetors, chrome intake, chrome Buick valve covers, and chromed lake style headers. The headers are bolted to set of stainless steel exhaust that tuck up nicely to the underside of the car. The rear end is a Winters Quick Change unit which again pays homage to the Hot rods of the 50’s and early 60’s. Inside the ’32 Ford Sedan is a 1940 Lincoln Zephyr dash. With the fit and finish, it looks like this dash came with the car. The pleated red and cream interior just screams 50’s era hot rod. Look closely though, they are a few modern amenities lurking on the inside. This ’32 Ford Sedan has a nice AM/FM radio with a CD player for your listening enjoyment. Look under the dash and you will notice a set of knobs for the AC. That’s right, this old school hot rod is equipped with Air Conditioning to keep you as cool as you will look when driving this beauty. The attention to detail and craftsmanship has made stunner an award winner. Most notable is the Goodguys/Dupont Hot Hues 2008 Hot Rod of the year. This 1941 Ford Station Wagon Super Deluxe was first bought by Calumet Farm, Lexington, Kentucky by Reinhardt-Gaidry in 1941. Calumet’s Whirlaway won the Triple Crown in 1941, which adds to the desirability of owning this beautiful Woody Station Wagon. 1946 Calumet Farm had the motor rebuilt, clutch, fuel pump and the top were replaced. The wood was re-varnished along with the metal fender and panels being repainted during this period. The odometer showed 40000 miles. In 1949, Calumet Farm opted to have a new motor and clutch installed with 60000 miles on the odometer. The 2nd owner purchased the car in 1963 from Calumet Farm and lives very near to Calumet Farm to this day. The current owner only had to partially restore it, and has been garaged kept since 1968. Original paperwork from the Ford Dealership in Lexington Ky is in the glove box. The interior of this beauty is clean and simple, just as it would have been in 1941. This 1962 Dodge Max Wedge Tribute is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 62 Line up for Dodge had there own defined look making them highly collectible today. Not to mention the big and powerful engine you could get in on of these intermediate size cars. In 1962 the now infamous Wedge cars were released and put everyone on notice. With there 413 CI engine and massive cross ram intakes were literally taking the strips by storm. This example is sure to briong you back to thos magical days when Dodge pretty much owned the drag strips. Start with the black paint which is slick while showing off those one of a kind lines.The multiple coats of clear laid on top gives it not only a mirror finish but almost a 3D look. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 2004 Dodge Viper SRT-10. The first prototype was tested in January 1989. It debuted in 1991 with two pre-production models as the pace car for the Indianapolis 500 when Dodge was forced to substitute it in place of the Japanese-built Dodge Stealth because of complaints from the United Auto Workers, and went on sale in January 1992 as the RT/10 Roadster. The Dodge Viper underwent a major redesign in 2002, courtesy of DaimlerChrysler's Street and Racing Technology group. The new Viper SRT-10, which replaced both the GTS and the RT/10, was heavily restyled with sharp, angled bodywork. The engine's displacement was increased to 8.3 L (506.5 cu in), which increased output to 500 bhp and 525 lb•ft. Despite the power increases, engine weight was reduced to about 500 lb (230 kg). The chassis was also improved, becoming more rigid and weighing approximately 80 lb (36 kg) less than the previous model. This beautiful red Viper looks just as good as the day it was sold off the showroom floor. This 1 owner Dodge Viper has only 4282 miles on the odometer. This brutal masterpiece of American Muscle has been garage kept and never been rained on as of this writing. With only 27777 actual miles, this 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS LS5 is located in our Louisville KY showroom and is for sale! 1969 would mark the first year that the SS was an option and not a "line up". This allowed for much wider availability from the Malibu Sport coupe to the Chevelle 300 hardtop and even the El Camino. The package would include a cowl hood, standard 5 spoke wheels and of course enough SS badging to insure that no matter what side or angle you saw you were going to see some type of SS badges. This Chevelle is a true SS LS5 car. The Sea foam Green paint is the original color to the car, but this Chevelle has been painted once. The factory Rally wheels finish off the exterior and complete the period correct look. Under the hood is the heart this beast, a LS5 454 engine and is the original engine to the car. The block and rotating assembly is factory LS5, but the heads, intake and carburetor were all upgraded to LS6 components by the 2nd owner. The 2nd owner, who owned for 43 years, removed the engine and stored it away while the Chevelle was used on the drag racing circuit. The 3rd owner bought the Chevelle with the original engine, had it freshen up at the local machine (no boring was necessary) then everything has been reinstalled. There is less than 200 miles on the drivetrain since the re-freshening, so the engine will live for a very long time. Handling the awesome power of the LS5 454 is the original Muncie 4-speed manual transmission. The original GM bolt rear still resides under the back end of the Chevelle and will handle the torque of the mighty 454 LS5 engine. The interior is original to the car, and looks just as good today as it did when purchase in 1970. Autometer Water Temp and Oil Pressure gauge straddle the steering column so the driver can easily keep tabs on the engine vitals. Under the rear seat is the original build sheet to verify that this is a real deal 454. If you are looking for a collectible, Chevelle SS LS5 that can be enjoyed as it was meant to be used then you have found it. This beautiful Mustang has been repainted in correct factory Bright Red (color code 3) and looks great. Inside the rare optioned red vermillion vinyl interior with cloth inserts that really sets this Boss apart from the others of this vintage. The black carpet, black center console and black dash are a nice contrast; it really sets off the bright red seats. Under the hood is the 330 hp 351 Boss (code R) and is part of the drag pack option which included manual 4-speed with Hurst Shifter and 3.91 traction lok differential. The 351 Boss engine has been rebuilt and balanced, so there will be no need for rebuilding of this car for quite some time. The engine looks just as it would on the showroom floor in 1971 with the proper info decals on the valve covers and the fenders. In many instances, its the small details that are overlooked, but not with this gem. As a matter of fact as long as it is taken care and maintained properly, it will be ready to for the next generation of collectors. The owner has a packet of literature to go with this Boss that validates its authenticity and increases the collectability as the years go by. Recent purchase prices at auctions indicate these are steadily on the rise in value. The Boss is also equipped the competition suspension and will put the Firestone F60-15’s to their limits. As for bragging rights, the Boss 351 is considered to be faster than the 429 equipped Mach I of the same year. The Boss 351 jumped from a standing start to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds and ran the quarter-mile in 13.6 seconds. In a Motor Trend test from 1971, the bigger cube 429 CJ accelerated from 0 to 60 in 6.4 seconds and ran the quarter-mile in 14.7 seconds. The Boss 351 is also the rarest of the 71 Mustangs with only 1806 produced. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1970 Ford Torino GT 429 SCJ “Drag Pack”. The 1970 Torino was the primary model with the Fairlane becoming a sub-series. The big news though that year was the 429 Super Cobra Jet. Ford had been putting Thunder Jet 429’s in their T-bird lineup for a few years but 1970 would unleash these monsters in two different trims with Super Cobra Jet being the one that you really wanted. This is example has gone through a pain staking frame off restoration completed in 2015 and is probably nicer than when she left the factory. The correct grabber blue paint is amazing and is guaranteed to catch everyone’s eye. The GT package gave this Torino those awesome hideaway headlights which work. With all the trim on the car in excellent condition this truly is one of the finest examples of a Torino GT I have seen. The shaker hood is not only functional but the look you get when you drop a gear and the person sees that coming is worth the price of the car itself. Under the hood though is where all the joking around stops and the genuine business begins. The monstorous 429 SCJ looks like it fits right at home underneath that shaker hood. The chrome valve covers against the blue painted block is exactly the way it should be. The forged pistons and solid lifter cam are not the only things that make this a Super Cobra Jet. The bigger 780 CFM Holley feeds plenty of fuel to the freshly built engine giving this DRAG PACK equipped Torino an absolute ton of power. The factory oil cooler keeps this big block running in tip top shape. The 3.91 “Traction Locked” rear end give this blue beast a decent mix of off the line acceleration while having a fair amount of top end speed. The Black interior is just as nice as the exterior with the 4-speed shifter placed perfectly with in arms reach. The correct seats are comfortable and what you would expect in a SCJ Torino. With all the gauges working as they should this SCJ Torino can be summed up in one word, AMAZING! This 1933 Willys Gasser (titled as a 2013 ASVE) is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 33 Willys coupe was a desperate attempt to beat bankruptcy after the great depression hit the company hard. Little did anyone know that this little car would become the basis for many dragsters but the company’s most successful vehicle, the JEEP. Gassers however is what these cars are truly known for and this one was built by what many say the best in the business, American Gasser in Saginaw MI. The car started life as nothing but fiberglass and steel but quickly became one of the nicest builds the crew had done. Starting with 2 x3 handcrafted tube frame as the base for everything else to build from. The front end consists of a flaming river 6 inch drop chromed axle, a set of eagles I beam connecting rods and speedway spindles are all controlled thru the Flaming River Vega steering box. The classic Ford 9-inch rear end with a Currie housing is stuffed with a set Moser 3.55 gears that are turning a set Moser 31 spline axles making for one of the most durable rear ends I have seen. The QA1 coil-overs give the car a pretty good ride with the custom built 42-inch ladder bars helping with any traction problems you may have. The heart of this American monster is what really sets apart from the competition. The blown 355 has a massive and iconic 671 blower sitting on top and peeking out thru the hood. The 2 Barry Grant Carbs feed a massive amount of 91 octane to the setup. Internals consist of an Eagle Crank and rods with a Comp Cam 507/501 giving it a nasty, lumpy idle. Spark is courtesy of the MSD setup including distributor, 6AL Digital ignition control and a blaster coil. With the sum of the parts outing out an astounding 600+HP this ride is not for the faint of heart. The interior has been tastefully done by a shop called Sullivan upholstery that has put a quality interior in it. The matching red 4-point cage is a nice touch especially against the black buckets seats. The Willys engraved in the headrest really tie it all together and the Simpson 5-point restraint system hopefully will be just for looks. The dash consists of a set Vintage Brand gauges to monitor all the vitals. If you have been wanting something a little different yet iconic, a little quirky yet unbelievably cool then this 33 Willy’s Gasser is all of those and then some.
