1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429

1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429

Engine: 429 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 24,101 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars Philadelphia is thrilled to offer this extraordinary piece of American automotive history, a two-owner 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 with just over 24,100 actual miles! This legendary car was built for one reason and one reason only… win races. The battle for waged upon the speedways of the NASCAR circuit with the top dogs, Chrysler and Ford fighting for dominance each weekend. Chrysler’s introduction of the 426 Hemi engine in 1964 rocked the racing world and prompted Ford to come up with a necessary response. The answer, the Boss 429, a mythical powerplant designed to run longer and stronger than the famed Hemi. In accordance to NASCAR’s rule requiring manufacturers to release a limited number of legal street versions to the public, Ford chose the Mustang to be the recipient of this mighty power. The Boss 429 was derived from the 385 series engines, bored out and stroked to 429 cubic inches and topped with aluminum semi-hemispherical cylinder heads designed to move a lot of air. The impressive engine’s size required extensive modifications to the Mustang body and Ford contracted Kar Kraft® to carry out the task. Basic sportsroof Mustangs were sent to Brighton, MI where they underwent front-end modifications to accommodate the 429. Once in place, they made several other changes to the car include repositioning of the battery to the trunk, ¾” rear sway bar, manually controlled hood scoop and a 3.91 ratio rear axle with a limited slip differential! Production began in 1968 and oversaw 859 Boss 9s completed, two of which were Mercury Cougars. This is one of those revered vehicles in true survivor form! Wearing its original Candy Apple Red paint, this Boss is truly a rare find! Purchased new at Don Rice Ford in Bedford, PA in May 1969, this Boss retains 99% of the original components found on it including Autolite® belts! All factory chalk marks are still present and visible! How often do you come upon unique details like that?! It’s all there including the floor mounted shift lever, flawless high back vinyl bucket seats, deluxe seat belts, color keyed racing mirrors and handsome woodgrain paneling! Turn the key to hear the sweet rumble of the 429 that conveys the message that the Boss means business. This car has been meticulously maintained by its current owner for over forty years. This Mustang is a true time capsule that continues to tell the incredible story of performance innovation and preserves American automobile history. The opportunity to own a piece of history is now here and it calls for someone to be the next keeper of legends, is it you? Additional features include Original Bill of Sale and an Elite Marti Report by Marti Auto Works®, AM/FM Radio with Cassette, Power Steering, Power Brakes and Seat Belts. 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500

1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500

Engine: 427 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 69,362 ( undocumented )

This GT-500 is 1 of only 5 that were ever created. Backed up with a MARTI report, this Shelby GT-500 has a dealer installed 427 side oiler. This rare Mustang had a complete rotisserie restoration completed on it and is as good as the day it drove off of the showroom floor! All of the stampings down to the Kelsey Hayes rims and steering wheel are correct for the era and is truly amazing to see a piece of automotive history preserved as well as this one has. The 427 side oiler has always been one of the most sought after of Ford engines for their high performance and racing pedigree. The Shelby GT-500 was the most powerful Mustang created in 1967 and was created in very limited quantities overall. This engine configuration from the factory was expected to make over 450 horsepower and the numbers were typically under rated. The look of the late sixties Mustang fastbacks are timeless. The swooping lines and sharp edges are unforgettable. This iconic American muscle car is not just a pretty face though. The car runs and drives very well and feels like endless amounts of power. As you drive along it is hard not to get caught up in the nostalgia while gripping the wood grain steering wheel and are looking into the faces of each Shelby gauge then looking to your right and seeing Carroll Shelby’s signature on the glove box is the icing on the cake! This piece of history is well documented and in superb shape. No matter if you plan on using at just a show piece or to drive occasionally you are surely to be the only one in your group with the same car. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-500 in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. 2006 Ford GT

2006 Ford GT

Engine: 5.4L V8
Transmission: 6 Speed Manual
Mileage: 6,218 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this very rare 2006 Ford GT for sale. The Ford GT began as a concept car designed in anticipation of the automaker's centennial year and as part of its drive to showcase and revive its "heritage" names such as Mustang and Thunderbird. The GT was produced for the 2005 and 2006 model years, with the first customers taking delivery in August 2004. Of the 4,500 GTs originally planned, approximately 100 were to be exported to Europe, starting in late 2005. An additional 200 were destined for sale in Canada. Production ended in 2006 without reaching the planned lot. Approximately 550 were built in 2004, nearly 1,900 in 2005, and just over 1,600 in 2006, for a grand total of 4,038. The Ford GT features many new and unique technologies, including superplastic-formed frame, aluminum body panels, roll-bonded floor panels, a friction stir welded center tunnel, covered by a magnesium center console, a "ship-in-a-bottle" gas tank, a cap less fuel filler system, one-piece door panels, and an aluminum engine cover with a one-piece carbon fiber inner panel. Brakes are four-piston aluminum Brembo calipers with cross-drilled and vented rotors at all four corners. When the rear canopy is opened, the rear suspension components and engine are visible. The mid-mounted 5.4L V-8 engine is made from all aluminum and has a twin screw-type supercharger. What does this mean, well it means 550 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque which makes for a super-fast 0-60mph in 3.3 seconds! This car is a blast to drive especially as your shifting through the gears of a Ricardo 6-speed manual transmission fitted to a helical limited-slip differential. What makes this car even more rare is the exterior color being black and having the race stripe delete option, which you will not see this combination in a 2006 Ford GT very often at all. Also, with black leather interior and the Mcintosh sound system, forged alloy wheels and painted calipers you will not see a better-looking sports car than this Ford GT for sale. With just barely over 6,000 actual miles on this 2006 Ford GT, this beast is barely broken in and ready for thousands of more miles of pure performance and fun! Options on this 2006 Ford GT for sale are: A/C, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seats, leather interior and performance tires wrapped around forged alloy wheels. 1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350

1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350

Engine: 289 CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 16,500 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to present this ultra rare and desirable 1966 Shelby GT350 Fastback Mustang. Documentation and known history are two important attributes for collector cars. This 1966 Shelby GT350, SFM6S2185, possesses plenty of both. As noted in the Shelby American Automobile Club’s “Shelby Registry 1965-67,” the GT350 was shipped from the Shelby American assembly facility in Los Angeles to Ford Motor Company in June 1966, then delivered to Courtesy Motors in Littleton, Colorado. In the 1970s, the Shelby was owned by a southern California detective who sometimes used this beauty as an undercover vehicle. Since 1979, it has been in the hands of collectors to ensure it was cared for through the years. During the 1980s, it participated in west coast shows, including SAAC-6 and the Palo Alto Concours D’Elegance. From 1987 to 2013, the GT350 was owned by a private collector; a 1988 restoration resulted in numerous Best of Show awards, perfect scores from both SAAC and the Mustang Club of America, and features in several magazines. “Super Ford” magazine named it “the best Shelby of the year” for 1989. The Guardsman Blue GT350 retains much of its original equipment, including the factory-installed 4-speed transmission and matching-numbers 289 Hi-Po V-8 that was modified to Shelby specs for 306 horsepower. Like all 1966 GT350s, the car was delivered to Shelby American as a K-code Mustang fastback, then upgraded with a Cobra aluminum intake with Holley carb, Tri-Y headers, Koni shock absorbers, rear traction bars, 15-inch wheels, dash-mounted tachometer, competition seatbelts and wood steering wheel. Externally, the Shelby models differed from regular Mustangs with a fiberglass hood with scoop, plexiglas rear quarter windows and side scoops. Only 2,378 were built in total. Orlando Mustang was tapped to complete a restoration on the car in 2014, which resulted in its winning Best in Class awards at the 2104 Keels and Wheels Concours D’Elegance and the 2015 Valero Show. It was featured in the July 2015 “Mustang Times” and displayed at the Bush Library from August to October 2016. Gateway Classic Cars is proud to announce this outstanding 1948 Ford Deluxe Convertible for sale in our Scottsdale Showroom. This high-end, complete rebuild has had some very respectable hands involved in its restoration, utilizing an array of top-notch components and it shows! This build began with a 1948 Ford Deluxe V-8 Convertible beautifully restored to its original condition with burgundy paint and a tan top. A photo album details the build step-by-step, highlighting each stage. Kugel Komponents provided their expertise by customizing the chassis to handle the torque of a supercharged engine and fabricating a state-of-the-art independent suspension with calibrated coil-over shocks front and rear. Mitech Racing Engines bored and stroked a Ford Windsor engine out to 393 Cubic inches. Topped by a BDS Supercharger and dual Holley carbs, this engine produced 520 HP and 468 ft./lbs. of torque when dyno’d. A Ford C4 transmission has been called upon to put this immense power to the pavement. The removable Carson top and windshield chop are the work of Gene Winfield. The fenders were sculpted to the body, the final preparations made and “Candy Brandywine” paint was applied by Hot Rods by Boyd Coddington. This was one of the very last cars to come out of his shop in La Habra, CA. Bills Auto Upholstery in Brea, CA provided the luxurious all-leather camel interior with heated power seats. 1940 Ford Deluxe Flower Car

1940 Ford Deluxe Flower Car

Engine: Flathead V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Manual
Mileage: 21,896 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is excited to offer this very unique 1940 Ford Super Deluxe Flower Car once again. If you're scratching your head thinking "I've never seen one of those before!" It's probably because you most likely have not. This 1940 Ford Deluxe was produced by the Ford Motor Company and then converted by The Eureka Manufacturing Company of Rock Falls Illinois into a flower car. Essentially starting out as a 5-window coupe, the conversion lengthened the chassis and the convertible rear casket compartment was created with metal rollers and pins to store the side rails that would hold flowers in place. This car had a dual use of being enclosed with the original canvas cover for the less elaborate funerals and having the rear compartment cover removed and side rails installed for a more elaborate send off. Flower cars were popular during the middle of the century and now are rarely seen in modern funerals. While most if not all of these conversions done by Eureka were on General Motors vehicles this one being a Ford and not a Packard or Cadillac makes this highly obscure and is believed to be the only one ever made. This car was purchased new in 1940 and check out the original photos of the car being delivered. Now fast forward 78 years and you will notice that not much has really changed. This is an original, unmolested, unrestored car that still retains the original paint, original canvas cover, original interior and powertrain. Now is your chance to own something that nobody else has and enter the world of Professional Car Collectors. Surely this will be the only one at whatever show you attend and thanks to years of maintenance and recent service work performed this car is ready for the road and will cruise at highway speeds. New parts include brake shoes, wheel and master cylinders, brake hoses, rear axle seals, new points set, fuel tank, fuel pump and carburetor overhaul. Located in our Chicago showroom, this 1940 Ford Deluxe Flower Car can be seen including an HD video and pictures at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. With only 158 miles on the complete odometer, it's barely broken in and is ready for the show circuit or any late night cruise! Powering the hot rod is a stunning 355 cubic inch small block Chevy V8 engine. Starting life as your standard 350 Chevy, this engine was then bored .030 over and dressed with more goodies than you can shake a stick at. When hearing the gear drive whine and the gasp' of the Edelbrock dual-quads opening up, you can tell that this Ford means business. The coated headers run through a dual exhaust system that's music to any car enthusiasts ears. Backing that small block is a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. Nothing says custom hot rod for sale like a 350/350 engine/tranny set-up! The transmission churns the power down to a built Ford 9" rear end with coil-overs and ladder bars. With 3.50 gears, it's the right mix of street cruising manners and street bruising launches. The power is put to the pavement through a set of staggered aluminum/alloy wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich performance radial tires. With all of this power and GO, you're going to need some STOP too! SoCal ordered Wilwood disc brakes sit up front while polished finned drums poke out from beneath the deep dish wheels. With a suspension this nice, you need an exterior to match. The body is an all steel beauty, with a stunning Black paint job. Walking around this '32 Ford for sale, you see all the elegant and subtle touches, like custom mirrors, louvered 3-piece steel hood, and tasteful pinstriping. You know you have a one-off show piece when you have a vehicle that looks equally as good in "black-and-white" as it does in color. The interior is so simplistic, it's almost modern. The Stewart Warner gauges are gorgeous and luxurious, especially when added to the custom gauge cluster. The woodgrain pieces make the cab feel warm and cozy. The suede leather bucket seats are matched throughout the cab with a deep and rich brown hide. The smell alone, is almost intoxicating. Engine: 390 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 100 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this absolutely stunning 1962 Ford Thunderbird Sports Roadster at our Scottsdale, AZ showroom. This beautiful 'bird from a long-ago era known as the "Jet Age" definitely makes a statement, whether it's sitting still or in motion. A recent recipient of a full frame-off restoration that took nearly three years, nothing on this Black Beauty has been overlooked. Starting with the body, a true Sports Roadster was purchased to start the project that had no rust. It was professionally disassembled, media blasted and straightened, primed, painted, and color-sanded with high-quality PPG products. All of the exterior trim, bumpers, grille, taillight housings, etc. have been sent out for refurbishment to like-new condition. The entire drivetrain was sent out to the most qualified professionals to get everything done right. The engine has been up-graded with Edelbrock aluminum heads, intake, and carburetor. It now produces in excess of 400 HP! Many of the underhood components have taken a trip through the chrome shop and really make the engine pop. Underneath the car, where really nobody looks (but critical) to the functionality, comfort, and safety of driving this Ford classic wherever you may want to go. All major systems, including, front suspension, rear suspension, U-joints, braking system, and exhaust system are fully rebuilt. The interior has new seat covers, new seat foam, new carpet, a new black convertible top, and everything else has been perfectly restored. The car has manual windows, an AM radio that's been converted to AM/FM/Bluetooth, tilt-a-way steering column, power brakes, a fully functional clock, and provisions for air conditioning, although at this time is inoperable. It appears as though the majority of the components are on the car; it just needs to be completed. The convertible top and all associated components work flawlessly and turn this two-seater roadster into an all-weather car in a few minutes with the flip of a switch, all thanks to nearly every part in the system being replaced with new. A three-owner car that has received an amazing restoration and that has traveled less than one hundred miles since completion, along with full documentation confirming that there is well over $150K in this no-expense-spared restoration that had the goal in mind of being one of the top Sports Roadsters in the country. 2012 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500

2012 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500

Engine: 5.4L V8
Transmission: 6 Speed Manual
Mileage: 4,752 ( actual )

Professionally crafted by Galpin Auto Sports aka GAS in Van Nuys, California, this handmade GT-500 is a sight to behold! With over 8 months alone in the body and paint, the body was sculpted out of metal and was coated in a custom pepper gray metallic paint that looks sinister from all angles. Shaved door handles keep the look sleek and freshly powder coated Forgiato 3-piece GTR wheels finish off the look well. A clear bra was placed on multiple areas of the car as well to protect it from stone chips. This car makes an amazing show car but performs just as well on the track! Awaiting to come alive under the hood sits a 5.4L V8 that came in the GT-500’s originally, however this one has been equipped with a 2.3L VMP supercharger producing a dyno-proven 700+ horsepower to the rear wheels! Bigger injectors, oversized aluminum Shelby intercooler, Ford Racing single blade throttle body connected to a cold air intake, and a Diablo tune insures max efficiency and power. Keeping this Shelby hooked to the pavement is a Ford Racing performance lowering suspension and a Watts 4-link in the rear. This paired with the 11.5” wide wheels up front and 14” wide wheels on the rear, this Mustang handles like it is on rails! With so much power and excellent cornering abilities, the only thing left are the brakes. Taking care of this is a set of Wilwood disc brakes both front and rear with 6-piston calipers up front and 4-pistons in the rear grabbing down on a set of cross drilled and slotted rotors. There are few cars out there that are as well-equipped as this GT-500 and would make an excellent car for a true driving enthusiast. Whether their plan is to show it off or rip it around the track this wild Mustang will not disappoint. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. 2014 Ford Mustang GT350

2014 Ford Mustang GT350

Engine: 5.0L V8 SC
Transmission: 6 Speed Manual
Mileage: 357 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this unbelievably rare 2014 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350. The GT350 was Shelby’s first entry into the Mustang market and boy did he do it right. Available only in Wimbledon white with blue stripes these fastbacks are still some of the most sought-after cars in the collector car world. In 2011 the legend would return but with an extremely limited run of only 350 cars over a 3-year span with the end date being December 31st, 2013. This wicked red convertible was 1 of 1 that year as they only made 8 in 2014, but with its 624HP supercharged engine, it is the most wicked of the bunch. The Race Red paint with those classic white stripes is a definite eye catcher and is by far my favorite of the bunch. Pop open the hood and you will see what has become quite a phenomenon in the car world. The Coyote motor is capable of 440HP straight from Ford but in true Shelby fashion that was not good enough. This one has been upgraded all the way to 624 mind numbing HP that you feel every time you turn the key. Matched up to the Getrag MT82 6 speed is a dream come true allowing the driver complete control of every of every shift. The electronic steering gives great feed back yet can be driven with one finger. Peek thru those black wheels and you will see the Wilwood brakes staring back at you. Inside Shelby has had its touch on the interior as well with the leather seats being reupholstered with the classic GT350 logo stitched into the headrest. The huge touchscreen is a nice feature and shows how far these cars have come in the past 50 years. Hit the button for the drop the top so you can show off that beautiful interior. The roll bar looks great and lets people know that this is not just any Mustang. This GT350 has all accommodating paperwork including the Shelby certification, and original window sticker. Owned by only 2 people the car is as clean as they come and is sure to go up in value as it sits there looking good. Options on this 2014 Ford Mustang GT350 is include, Power Convertible Top, Air Conditioning, Shaker Sound System including AM/FM/CD, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Steering, Tilt Steering Wheel, Power Brakes, Anti- Lock Brakes, Seat Belts, Driver/Passenger Side Air Bags, Keyless Entry, Leather Interior and Factory Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Performance tires. 1933 Ford Speedstar

1933 Ford Speedstar

Engine: 502 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 218 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando Florida is proud to present this one of kind 1933 Ford Speedstar . It doesn't get much better than this incredible Speedstar coupe. Built to be driven and shown, this slick little street rod is a world-class custom that'll fulfill your needs faster, and cheaper, than any car you've spent years idealizing. And what's better: with names like GM, Heidts, Billet Specialties and Rat's Glass on its specs sheet, this national award winner will outperform and outlast just about anything on the road! Professionally built by Harbor Auto Restoration and Alloway's Hot Rod Shop, EVERY piece of this classic fits right and tight, on the way to upholding a great vision of what hot rodding is supposed to be. Step back and admire the shape of the car's Rat's Glass body. It's the kind of profile that would turn heads in primer. So, what better way to ensure sore neck muscles than adding a polished Jim Rench grille, slick silver paint and wicked Joe Richardson flames? If you're a hardcore gearhead that likes to rise above the crowd, this awesome Ford is one classic that's guaranteed to pop eyes and drop jaws anywhere you choose to go. Speaking of eye-popping, if you're having any doubts about this coupe's ability to back up its loud persona, I'd encourage you to hoist its hood. Pull the latch, fling the fiberglass and you'll find 502 cubic inches of GM Performance Parts V8 that's capped by high quality Momar fuel injection. At the sides of that big mill, polished GM Performance Parts heads hang flamed and pinstriped valve covers over ceramic-coated shorty headers. In front of those heads, a painted Steve Long radiator hangs a polished cap over a large electric puller fan. Between those ancillaries, pliable V-belts spin a polished Meziere water pump behind billet pulleys. And behind that pump, proven MSD plug wires sequentially fire the car's cylinders. Aesthetically, this Ford's smooth engine bay appears to be holding up exceptionally well. And detail items, like a Lokar throttle linkage, polished breathers and a KPA fuel pressure gauge, add a heavy dose of form and function. This coupe's Rat's Glass body rides on a custom frame that's been assembled to exacting standards. The beefy 502 sends power through a tough Turbo-Hydramatic 3-speed to a polished driveshaft and familiar Winters QuickChange rear end. That stout powertrain pushes a fully independent suspension, which features a Heidts front-half, manual rack-and-pinion steering and adjustable Aldan coil-overs. Quick stops are a cinch thanks to polished Wilwood calipers and four drilled and slotted rotors. At the center of the floor, ceramic-coated exhaust breathes through throaty Magnaflow mufflers. And at the corners of the chassis, polished Billet Specialties Stilettos turn 245/40ZR17 BF Goodrich g-Force T/As in front of 295/45R20 BF Goodrich g-Force T/As. Inside this awesome street rod you'll find a stunning Luggage Brown on Graphite interior that was installed by Street Seats Interiors of New Port Richey, Florida. Custom-molded bucket seats are as comfortable on the back as they are on the eye. At the sides of those seats, the car's suicide doors wrap thin armrests in layered panels that feature simplistic trim. Below those seats, clean carpet anchors color-keyed floor mats beneath polished foot pedals. Between those seats, a custom-fabricated console arches forward to frame a booted Lokar shifter. In front of those seats, a body-matched dash centers Classic Instruments All-American gauges beneath a sculpted suede headliner. And in front of the driver, a polished and half-wrapped steering wheel laps a tilting column that's completely painted and flamed. According to this Speedstar's previous owner, the car was bestowed the following accolades: A Top 25 award at the Shades of the Past Rod Run, A Goodguys Coolest Rod Pick, An NSRA award for Best Streetrod, An NSRA award for Best Overall, An NSRA award for Outstanding Use of Color. Mileage: 1,500 ( since rebuilt )

Up for Sale in our Detroit Showroom is a very impressive 1968 Ford Mustang Shelby. 1968 marked the end of the first generation Mustang Shelby production. The Shelby GT Mustang was offered as a higher performance model and was introduced into the Mustang line-up in 1965. This Mustang has had every aspect of its originality modified and is a mean machine. The first thing that anyone would notice walking up to this beast is the enormous supercharged 429CID BOSS Ford Hemi Powered V8.
