Did we forget to mention the Methanol Injection? Exhaust measures in at 4in and has been completely ceramic coated, in and out. There’s a Dana 60 rear end out back with 3.53 gearing, and at the crank, you’re looking at 2,200 horsepower! The Big Stuff 3 Electronics that are equipped in this Charger allow you to control boost, offer traction control and even a analog button to rid of any interruptions. The Dewitt Radiator and Brushless Fans make sure this Mopar run nice and cool. For sale in our Denver showroom is a 1970 Top Banana Yellow Hemi Challenger convertible. This beautiful and rare convertible is one of 3884 produced in 1970. Introduced in fall 1969 for the 1970 model year, it was one of two Chrysler E-body cars, the other being the slightly smaller Plymouth Barracuda. "Both the Challenger and Barracuda were available in a staggering number of trim and option levels" and were intended "to compete against cars like the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang, and to do it while offering virtually every engine in Chrysler's inventory. The performance model was the R/T (Road/Track), with a 383 cu in (6.28 L) "Magnum" V8, rated at 335 bhp; 300 bhp for 1971, due to a drop-in compression. The standard transmission was a 3-speed manual. Optional R/T engines were the 375 bhp 440 cu in (7.2 L) Magnum, the 390 bhp 440 CID Six-Pack and the 425 bhp 426 cu in (7.0 L) Hemi. The R/T was available in either the hardtop or convertible. The Challenger R/T came with a Rallye instrument cluster that included a 150-mph speedometer, an 8,000 rpm tachometer, 1972–1974 tachometer went to 7,000 rpm and an oil pressure gauge. In 1972, the R/T badging was dropped and these models were called "Rallye", although they were never badged as such. The Rallye model featured a faux brake vent on the fenders. The shaker hood scoop was not available after 1971. The same year this car rolled off the assembly line the world's first jumbo-jet, the Boeing 747, has its first commercial flight on January 22nd of 1970. No expense was spared on this resto-mod. We are tremendously proud to offer for sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1968 Dodge Charger R/T. Not a dime was spared and not detail was missed in this build. You can't find another 1968 Dodge Charger like it at this price! This beautiful Charger started life out as a 440 4-speed car and is still equipped with the original 4-speed and Dana rear end. Power comes from a fire breathing Ray Barton 528 Hemi crate engine producing 650 horsepower! The Hemi is equipped with aluminum heads and intake with a single four-barrel carburetor feeding fuel. The engine is also fitted with a March Serpentine belt system and a 3-inch TTI exhaust system. This giant Hemi sits a little taller than the old 440. To clear the hood, some serious custom work was performed to the original steel hood. There are around 130-man hours in the hood alone! The builder started with a stock steel hood, relocated the recessed areas further out for the Duster scoop to fit between them. What a magnificent job! If you've ever restored a black car, you know how much time and patience it takes to get it right. The underside is also painted in a high gloss black and looks just as good as the top side. 17-inch Boyd Coddington aluminum wheels finish off the look. An adjustable coil over suspension and Alterkation K frame with rack and pinion steering give this Charger the perfect stance. Slowing down this 650-horsepower beast is a set of Wilwood disc brakes on all four corners. Power is transferred from the original 4-speed and back to the original Dana 60 rear housing 3.54:1 rear gears. The interior has a very stock appearance to it; however, it was also fully restored like the rest of the car including all the gauges, seats, carpet and headliner. There is also controls for a new Classic Auto A/C unit. The build was a total rotisserie and was completed in 2011. Since its completion, the car has been shown nationally and received a 1st place at the Mopar Nationals in 2011 with a score of 995 of 1000 points, 2012 Gold Muscle Car Nationals with a 997 out of 1000, 2013 Magnificent 7 Winner, 2013 Gold at the Muscle Car Nationals in Chicago, 2013 1st at the Street Rod Nationals in Louisville, KY, 2013 Best of Show at Mopar Happening in Belvedere, IL, 2014 Gold at Muscle Car Nationals in Chicago, 2015 1st place at World of Wheels Chicago. The build has certainly proven itself with the mentioned awards. There are 300 miles since the completion. Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1968 Dodge Dart Pro Street “Indy Cylinder Head built the Dart”. It has a Hemi -- 605 cubic inches monster engine! That was reflected on the dyno sheets that Indy supplied with the engine: 836.8 horsepower and 752 lb.-ft of torque. The Hemi was teamed with an equally stout J.W. Performance Transmission–built 727 with a 4,200-stall converter and a narrowed rear end equipped with Strange axles and a Detroit Locker that are up to the task of taming all that Hemi power. Outside, what was left of the original Dart’s body structure was plenty enough to build from, once the floors and quarters were replaced with new steel. AAR Fiberglass’ bolt-on hood, bumper, front fender, doors, and decklid reproductions -- plus a ’68 Super Stock–style hood scoop -- were fitted and installed before the two-stage Sikkens Viper Red enamel went on. Inside, it’s a combination of race-car safety hardware and high-end cruiser, with leather covering the SCAT racing seats, dash and door panels, and custom carpets on the floors. As for a sound system, the Hemi’s custom exhaust system is for that purpose. Engine: There’s big, there’s huge—and then there’s this Indy Cylinder Head–built Street Legend Hemi. Displacing 605 inches, it features Indy’s aluminum 41/2-inch bore block, with a forged Callies crankshaft and Eagle H-beam rods, forged 10.75:1 compression Wiseco pistons, and a Comp Cams solid-roller camshaft. A pair of Indy’s 426-1RA heads, ported Indy intake with a 1050-cfm Holley Dominator, MSD ignition, and a custom-built exhaust system finalize the overgrown air pump. Transmission: J.W. Performance Transmission-built 727 with a reverse–manual valve body, 9-inch/4,200 stall convertor with a trans brake, B&M shifter, and a Gear Vendors overdrive. Rear: Narrowed 9-inch is filled with a 4.56-geared Detroit Locker differential and Strange axles. Suspension: (Front) Art Morrison’s Super Strut, (Rear) X-link with Strange coil overs and ladder bars. Brakes: Four-wheel discs with Wilwoods in front and Strange Engineering rotors and calipers in the rear. Wheels/Tires: Welds and Mickey Thompsons (Front) 15x4½-inch wheels on 26x7.50x15 M/T Sportsman tires, (Rear) 15x14-inch Double Bead lock wheels on M/T’s 32x17.50x15 ET Streets. Paint/Body: Original unibody had its floors and trunk replaced before it was fitted to the round-tube frame. AAR Fiberglass provided the hood, front fenders, trunk lid, and bumpers, and Rick Perry (aided by Don Reese and Ron Sheed) got it all ready for the Sikkens two-stage Viper Red enamel. Interior: Fernando Torres custom-stitched the SCAT Sportsman race bucket seats, door panels, and dash pad in tan leather with matching suede inserts. Steering wheel is a repro Tuff one on a Flaming River tilter, and tan/brown carpets cover the floors. This is one serious bad boy, gas sucking, tire evaporating machine! Rare by definition means, “not found in large numbers” or, “unusually good or remarkable.” Well… RARE is the perfect word to explain this A12 M-code “Killer” Super Bee. With a full restoration performed less than six months ago, this Super Bee is turnkey and ready to go. You may ask yourself what is so unique about this 1969 ½ Dodge Super Bee. I’m glad you asked. An A12 M-code MoPar car drastically sets itself apart from the typical “Muscle Cars.” A12 M-code cars were like the Arnold Schwarzenegger of “Muscle Cars.” They were pure, pumped up, menacing, high-performance vehicles that swarmed at every opportunity to sting the competition that dared to get in its way. A12 cars were offered with a 440 cubic-inch monster motor, adorned with a “Six-Pack” (three two-barrel carburetors). M-code cars were a special order package that equipped these outstanding cars with a Dana 60 axle with 4:10 gear ratio, heavy-duty automatic and a “lift-off” flat black scooped hood. The A12 package did not stop there. It also includes heavy-duty internal engine parts, black steel rims with high-performance G-70 15 inch tires, and heavy-duty 11-inch drum brakes. This is a “Numbers Matching” 1969 ½ Dodge Super Bee with all the correct matching components an A12 M-code car is suppose to have as stated above. With only 45,000 documented miles this jewel is a superb investment. You can make this a centerpiece in your collection. There were only 1,487 Super Bee two-door Hardtops built in 1969 for the U.S. market with a 440 six-barrel 390 horsepower engine. Of those, 826 were built with a A833 4-speed manual transmission and 661 constructed with an A727 3-speed Torqueflite automatic transmission. This is one of the 661 A727 automatics. No one truly knows how many of these ultra-rare cars are still in existence, but we know not all of them made it this far. Some found their destiny with the “car crusher.” Others rotted away in fields, and some are still hiding behind barn doors. This Super Bee was found in Fort Morgan, Colorado like many other “Muscle Cars” sitting in a barn locked away from the public. The car is a true “Vitamin C” Orange code, offset by black vinyl bucket seat interior. Options include AM Radio, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, Posi Traction. For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a showroom condition, 1970 Dodge Charger restored as a tribute to the record setting Dodge Charger Daytona. Dodge Daytona’s, also known as the "Winged Warriors", did not compete for long in NASCAR's top Cup series. On the next season of NASCAR, the executives banned aero specs on cars with engines bigger than 300 Cubic inches. Because of their exceptional speed and performance, NASCAR subsequently changed the rule book, effectively banning all four of the Aero Cars from Dodge, Ford, Mercury, and Plymouth from competition by the end of 1970. The Daytona's short-lived NASCAR career makes these vehicles a piece of history, both in Americana sense as well as engineering. This Charger, now fresh after a restoration, has just 1,149 miles. Under the hood you'll find a 440 6-pack big block backed by a 727 TorqueFlite 3-spd automatic transmission. This drivetrain puts power to ground through an 8 3/4 rear-end with 3.23 SureGrip gears. Options include: AC, AM radio(not operable), spare tire, jack, power brakes, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior, rally wheels and raised white letter radial tires. The rear tires are: BF Goodrich Radial TA 255/60/15. Front: BF Goodrich Radial TA 235/60/15. The thorough restoration was meticulous and consisted of taking the body off the frame and powder coating front end components as well as the K-frame. Original gauges were sent off and refurbished and look great! Heck, the clock is working wonderfully! Just closing the door of a classic you can usually tell the quality of the work performed. These doors shut effortlessly and line up! Looking underneath the vehicle you can tell attention to detail was important to this builder. The biggest benefit someone can obtain here is saving thousands on their own restoration while enjoying a piece of history without worrying about depreciating a true Daytona. It's a win-win. This is the car you want if you’re looking for comfort, style and big Hemi power. The Coronet reappeared for the 1965 model year as the intermediate sized B-body car using a 117 inche wheel base. When reintroduced in this 5th generation it was the biggest selling vehicle Dodge made that year! This is the 2-door hardtop version of the car which is one of the most desirable of the period. In 1966 Coronet received a redesign and you started to be able to get the 426 hemi as an option. The 440 Magnum that was in the R/T produced 375hp but the 426 Hemi pushed out a whopping 425hp! An incredible powerplant that has to be driven to truly appreciate. This is a numbers matching vehicle that even has the blue stripe tires that were only available from Mopar, only available for the Hemi and only available in 1966! Super rare stuff we are talking about here. This engine and transmission were rebuilt 27,000 miles ago when the car just went over 100,000 miles. The 426 Hemi goes through the factory automatic transmission and ends up at the 3.08 limited slip rear end. The exterior is a beautiful red color which looks excellent with the white vinyl interior. Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer a one-of-a-kind and super rare 1946 Dodge Power Wagon! The famous Dodge Power-Wagon was a civilian adaptation of a four-wheel drive, 3/4-ton military vehicle which Dodge built in great numbers during World War II. The civilian version, which was first offered in 1946, was rated as a one-ton but was capable of carrying a 3000 pound payload in off-highway service. Dodge engineered the Power-Wagon to be a self-propelled powerplant, and it was capable of a wide range of industrial and agricultural applications. A transmission power-take-off was available (present here) for driving various items of auxiliary equipment. Our example features a PTO driven winch that looks like it could pull a mountain! There is no better color combination than the Military Green and Black which really give an appeal you can only find on a Power Wagon. With only 2,000 miles on this fresh restoration, this 230cid I-6 can perform to its full potential no matter how you plan on using it. These Power Wagon’s are not something you usually see on the road but if you dare, this one is road ready and can be driven in a parade or to a local show. It may take you a little longer than expected, but this Power Wagon will get you their safely and plow thru anything in its way. A high quality fiberglass Daytona conversion kit was installed. From there, well known restorer, Eric Nelson, built the metal headlight assembly, metal wind supports, and stainless A pillar moldings. The meticulous restoration was a no expense spared job that included a lot of high performance goodies. Power comes from a built 451 based from a 400 block that features aluminum main caps, Veolia Pistons, Bill Mille aluminum rods, 3.375 billet crank and roller cam and lifters. The cylinder heads are aluminum Indy 440 1 cylinder heads as well as an Indy aluminum intake manifold and a CNC ported valley pan. It's equipped with a Milidon oiling system, Milidon oil pan, custom push rods, K Motion valve springs, Stainless steel valves with lockers and retainers, Mopar performance aluminum water pump and a Holley 1050 Dominator carburetor. Exhaust and the menacing sounds that emit from this power house come out of custom headers, exhaust and Borla mufflers. This power needs something just as stout to transfer the power back to the rear wheels. Accomplishing that is a TCI Power Glide transmission, TCI torque converter, Jerry Bickel Chromoly drive shaft with billet trans and rear end yokes, Strange 9 inch with 40 spline spool, 4.56:1 gears and Strange 40 spline axles. Putting the power to ground is no easy task. Accomplishing this feat are Strange double adjustable rear shocks, Chassis Works ladder bar, Strange struts, Strange Rack and Pinion steering and 19.5 Mickey Thompsons wrapped around Weld Racing Aluma Star wheels. Up front are 26x5 Good Years also wrapped around Weld Racing Aluma Stars. Slowing things down is drama free thanks to a set of Strange four wheel disc brakes, Strange master cylinder and steel braided brake lines. Safety is one thing that shouldn't be taken for granted and certainly not missed. This one is ready to hold you in place and keep you safe. Doing so is a custom 12 point roll cage and Stroud 5 point racing belts. Other notable build details include a Hurst roll control line lock, Hurst Quarter Stick shifter, Griffin radiator, Barry Grant fuel system (400 pump & 4 port regulator), Painless wiring harness, Jazz 15 gallon fuel cell and of course beautiful workmanship that shows through and through. It debuted in 1991 with two pre-production models as the pace car for the Indianapolis 500 when Dodge was forced to substitute it in place of the Japanese-built Dodge Stealth because of complaints from the United Auto Workers, and went on sale in January 1992 as the RT/10 Roadster. The Dodge Viper underwent a major redesign in 2002, courtesy of DaimlerChrysler's Street and Racing Technology group. The new Viper SRT-10, which replaced both the GTS and the RT/10, was heavily restyled with sharp, angled bodywork. The engine's displacement was increased to 8.3 L (506.5 cu in), which increased output to 500 bhp and 525 lb•ft. Despite the power increases, engine weight was reduced to about 500 lb (230 kg). The chassis was also improved, becoming more rigid and weighing approximately 80 lb (36 kg) less than the previous model. This beautiful red Viper looks just as good as the day it was sold off the showroom floor. This 1 owner Dodge Viper has only 4282 miles on the odometer. The interior of challengers are some of the most comfortable of muscle cars and can fit individuals very large and tall. The seats are finished in leather and suede to give a classy touch. These seats provide a good amount of support while still being roomy enough for larger individuals unlike the seats of most other muscle and sports cars. This sweet ride is loaded with features. Some of which include cruise control, GPS, heated seats, power seats, power sunroof, tilt/telescoping wheel, and power mirrors. The sound system on this car is also highly modified with two large subwoofers in the trunk with a custom housing for them and the amps. Overall, this is a very comfortable car to drive and could make an excelent daily driver. Moving outward, the exterior has been kept almost completely stock to allow for one hell of a sleeper look. The paint is the factory black metalic and is in decent condition. the hood also features a faux carbon fiber decal that adds some contrast. Supporting each corner of the car are black powdercoated wheels with relatively new rubber surrouning them. Summed up, this car is a luxurious sleeper that will take on just about anything in a roll race! From 1968 to 1970 the Super Bee was applied exclusively to the Dodge Coronet. Then, in 1971 the Super Bee package was applied to the Dodge Charger. This was the last year, until late model Super Bees, that the Charger carried the Super Bee name. The Super Bee Charger was a relatively rare car as there were only 5,054 ever produced in 1971. This particular charger is powered by a 340cid V8 mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. It drives like a true muscle car and makes all the right sounds. The body was tripped down two years ago and was completely restored. Any traces of rust were eliminated. A beautiful coat of PPG paint was applied and looks gorgeous in and out of the sun. This charger recently received a new carburetor, intake, and factory wheels. It has a very aggressive appearance with its front and rear spoilers, hood scoop, Bumble Bee badges, and color combination. This Super Bee tribute has Directed brand speakers both up front and in the rear. It’s ok if you’re not a music person as the exhaust sounds fantastic. Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this beautiful 1970 Dodge Challenger! This beast is powered by a 340 CID V8 6-pack that was rebuilt 4800 miles ago. The 3-speed 904 TorqueFlight transmission was rebuilt even more recently than the engine, covering only about 1000 miles since being done. The 8:34 rear end features 3:23 gears and has also been rebuilt about 1000 miles ago. The exterior is finished in a stunning blue code PB3 paint which brings out the amazing body lines of this classic Mopar machine. The car has received an entirely new A/C and heating system from vintage air. All new March Performance Serpentine drive kit, new MSD ignition system, new radio, new Dakota digital dash, new digital tail lights, new disc brakes in the front, new dash pad. The car has been very well cared for and it’s very obvious when you look around the car. It was one of two Chrysler E-body cars, the other being the slightly smaller Plymouth Barracuda. "Both the Challenger and Barracuda were available in a staggering number of trim and option levels" and were intended "to compete against cars like the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang, and to do it while offering virtually every engine in Chrysler's inventory. The performance model was the R/T (Road/Track), with a 383 cu in (6.28 L) "Magnum" V8, rated at 335 bhp; 300 bhp for 1971, due to a drop-in compression. The standard transmission was a 3-speed manual. Optional R/T engines were the 375 bhp 440 cu in (7.2 L) Magnum, the 390 bhp 440 CID Six-Pack and the 425 bhp 426 cu in (7.0 L) Hemi. The R/T was available in either the hardtop or convertible. The Challenger R/T came with a Rallye instrument cluster that included a 150-mph speedometer, an 8,000 rpm tachometer, 1972–1974 tachometer went to 7,000 rpm and an oil pressure gauge. In 1972, the R/T badging was dropped and these models were called "Rallye", although they were never badged as such. The Rallye model featured a faux brake vent on the fenders. The shaker hood scoop was not available after 1971. The same year this car rolled off the assembly line the world's first jumbo-jet, the Boeing 747, has its first commercial flight on January 22nd of 1970. Testing of the first prototype began in January of 1989 for the Viper and the rest was history. A major contributor to the Viper since the beginning was Dick Winkles, the chief power engineer, who had spent a lot of time in Italy. The second generation ran from 1996 to 2002. The powerplant for the RT/10 in 1998 was 450 horsepower GTS engine with redesigned camshaft and exhaust manifolds, which saved 24 lbs over the previous design. Also new in 98’ were power windows and second generation air bags. Some specs to note: 0-60 time of 4.0 secs, 0-100 at 8.6 seconds, a quarter mile drag time of 12.2 seconds at 119 mph, and a top speed of 185 mph. All of these were mass improvements over the first generation, just solidifying the Viper as a bonafide supercar. The odometer reads 5,431, which represents the actual mileage on the car. This good looking 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T is for sale in our Indianapolis showroom of Gateway Classic Cars. The data tag confirms this Challenger is a true R/T equipped with a 440 V8 390 HP 3-2BBL Carburetor (six-pack) set-up. The owner does not believe this to be the original 440 V8, but it is period correct to the car. The Yellow is not the original color to the car. Originally the color of this was Dark Burnt Orange Metallic with a white vinyl top. We think the yellow exterior and black vinyl top. The interior decodes as vinyl high back bucket seats, but it does not designate the color. The current owner is not completely sure about the rear end, but it originally came with a Super Performance Axle package with 4.10 gears.
