1947 Buick Woody Wagon

1947 Buick Woody Wagon

Engine: 248 CID OHV Inline 8 Cylinder
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 36,791 ( undocumented )

The Detroit Showroom is proud to offer a super rare and 1947 Buick Woodie Wagon! While Buick’s postwar lineup was still based upon its prewar designs, the mildly revised 1946–1948 models garnered very strong public favor nonetheless. With the proven overhead valve Dynaflash straight eight, fully coil-sprung suspensions, and Harley Earl-supervised styling with fade-away front fenders, broad grilles, and remarkably restrained bright-trim accents, these cars remain collector staples today. During that era, the Series 50 Super Estate Wagon, with handsome Woodie bodywork by Michigan’s Ionia Manufacturing Company, topped Buick’s mid-tier offerings with a factory price of nearly $2,600. Just 2,036 of them, including five for export, were produced for 1947. This Woodie is a Series 50; Model 59, 110-hp, 248-cid OHV Dynaflash inline eight-cylinder engine with three-speed column-mounted manual transmission. The rarity of this vehicle in todays market makes this beautiful Buick a real gem. The history of this Buick has left its footprint in automotive history and will always be a high value vehicle. The wood accents on the vehicle are in pristine condition and have no splits and show very well. Every bit of this Buick screams nostalgia and has an unforgettable presence and it belongs in a museum or your very own private collection. This is a once in a lifetime chance to own a piece of automotive history. For more information on this Buick Woodie Wagon, please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or call to speak with one of our friendly and knowledgeable sales staff 313-982-3100 or email us at Detroit@GatewayClassicCars.com.

1956 Chevrolet Nomad LS1

1956 Chevrolet Nomad LS1

Engine: 5.7L LS1
Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 1,450 ( since rebuilt )

There was a time when this 1956 Chevrolet Nomad would have been overlooked for its hardtop siblings, but that day is long gone. Today the Nomad is near the top of every Chevy fan's wish list, and this gorgeous wagon gets a lot of things right: great colors, gorgeous interior, and a fully sorted LS1 drive train that offers more power and more comfort than you could get from the factory in 1956. There's no denying the handsome good looks of this 2-door wagon the simple '56 is the best-looking of the Tri-Five Chevys. This one also carries upscale Bel Air trim (which was the only way you could get a Nomad) that includes that dramatic side spear and all the chrome has been refinished to show standards, so it truly sparkles in the sun. Cross-country haulers just don't get much better than this. The interior has been nicely upgrades with factory seats wearing leather that looks amazing. Things like the dashboard, headliner, door panels and carpets are all nicely upgraded as well, the steering wheel is a wood-rimmed unit that's on a tilt column, and there are little vents tucked under the dash for the modern A/C system which blows ice cold. There's also an AM/FM/AUX radio that sounds pretty darned good and the gauges have been converted to digital. The cargo bay is correctly finished and offers a good deal of storage space, making this a fantastic road trip candidate. The engine is still technically a small block Chevy V8, but the 5.7 liter LS1 V8 from Street and Performance is a far cry from the original 265. It obviously fits beautifully and thanks to fuel injection and hardware, it's as reliable as your daily driver and quite a bit more powerful. The suspension uses OEM parts wherever possible to ensure reliability and easy service. A 4L60E 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission is a big part of the reason this car is such a pleasure to drive and the recent dual exhaust system has a pleasant burble at idle and just enough of an edge on the roll to let you know this isn't a stock Nomad. The undercarriage is quite clean and includes 4-wheel disc brakes, power steering, Power brakes and 17-inch Chrome 5 Spoke wheels wearing 245/45/17 front and rear performance radials. With only 1450 Miles on this restored, it has been fully sorted and ready to enjoy, this car just works like it should. With great looks, a wonderful color combination, and that timeless Nomad appeal, this car delivers in a big way. For additional information on this 1956 Nomad, email us at dallas@gatewayclassiccars.com or call 817-310-9400.The interior has been nicely upgrades with factory seats wearing leather that looks amazing. 1950 Ford Woody

1950 Ford Woody

Engine: 351 Windsor V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 80,875 ( undocumented )

A great deal of time, money, and effort has gone into making this old Ford Woody the perfect cruiser! After the second (current) owner purchased the car back in February of 1988 it was driven for a few years before it underwent a restoration of the wood panels on the car in 1994. Taking over a year to complete by a professional, the woodwork has held up nicely and, to this day it still looks great! Under the hood sits a 351 cubic inch Windsor V8 with only 2,500 miles put on since the professional rebuild by a reputable racing shop. The front suspension was replaced with Mustang II components providing a much nicer ride and premium control. As you slide into the interior that was reupholstered back in 2005, you will feel as if you were transported to a different era. A time in history where it was deemed “okay” to make most of the panels out of wood! Fire up that big V8, drop the transmission into drive, and start to cruise! You can almost hear the “Endless Summer” album by The Beach Boys, playing from the aftermarket stereo. The ride quality is very comfortable and feels safe even at higher speeds. The rack and pinion steering is smooth and much more precise than stock, and the disc brakes will stop you quickly. Everywhere you go, this old Ford is sure to turn heads and be a crowd pleaser! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1950 Ford Woody in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com.

1957 Chevrolet Nomad

1957 Chevrolet Nomad

Engine: 502 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 730 ( since rebuilt )

Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer a very unique 1957 Chevrolet Nomad! The two door Nomad took a completely different approach to a station wagon than any other era. With its styling cues being basically that of a 2 door hardtop, the Nomad would enjoy the same success as the tri fives that it was based off of. Much like the 2 door hardtop models the Nomad is one of the coolest platforms to restore. This ‘57 has been built to enjoy and drive on a daily basis while taking it to high level car shows on the weekend. The body was taken off the original frame and taken down to bare metal before being placed on a powder coated frame. The Pastel Lavender paint is slick and looks great while keeping with that classic ‘57 look. Using an upgraded suspension the ride is sporty and can handle anything you throw at it. The rack and pinion steering is crisp and light feeling with the custom wheels adding to the look and handling. With front disc brakes bringing everything to halt in a hurry, it gives you just enough confidence to drive this Nomad like a Camaro. Under the hood is all business with a Chevrolet Crate 502cid filling up the engine bay perfectly. The menacing exhaust note lets everyone know that there is no small block under that hood. Keeping everything at the right temp is an all-aluminum Be Cool Radiator that looks as good as it works. The Turbo-400 transmission routes the power to the rear end which has a set of 3.08’s in it making this a well suited highway hauler. The interior is a mix of classic and new with the painted dash filled with a set of custom digital gauges look great while being super functional. The Tweed bucket seats with the matching door panels tying it all together. Of course, the power windows are always nice especially when it gets a little too hot and the AC needs to be kicked on. Options on this 1957 Chevrolet Nomad include AC, AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Tilt Wheel, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. To view this 1957 Chevrolet Nomad in greater detail, including a HD video, visit GatewayClassicCars.com, for more information call us at 313-982-3100 or email us at Detroit@GatewayClassicCars.com

1957 Chevrolet Nomad

1957 Chevrolet Nomad

Engine: 283 CID V-8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 14,021 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is a very cool 1957 Chevrolet Nomad. Tri-Fives have become a symbol of Americana. From four doors, to two doors, to wagons, and convertibles, they're are loveable and enjoyable in their own way. Perhaps the most sought after, is the two door wagon known as a Nomad. The Nomad has a sleeker and sportier look than most wagons with its tilted forward B-Pillars and dramatic sloping rear tailgate. There's no question this sporty wagon has a beautiful silhouette that a whole generation can relate to. This particular Nomad has been spruced up with some tasteful touches, and undergone a very extensive restoration. The exterior is finished in a deep, dark black, with gorgeous stainless bright work down the sides. You would never believe it was done in the early 90’s unless we told you, that’s how good this paint looks. It sits on 15” gold wire wheels, which really make the rest of the gold trim pop off the sides of this car. Pop the hood, you’ll find what is believed to be the original 283 that has been bored 0.060 over with a mild cam in it to give a little extra grunt. The interior is two-tone to match the exterior with a very unique upholstery pattern. They certainly don't make interiors like they used to. This Nomad was restored about 15 years ago and has held up well since. If you're looking for a tri-five that will draw a crowd wherever you go, it's gotta be a Nomad. This Chevy is the perfect mix of high end panache and classic 50’s gusto. To view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and videos, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1977 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser

1977 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser

Engine: 2F 4.2L Inline 6 Cylinder
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 53,443 ( actual )

For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is a 1977 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. Rough and tough, but still cool and classic, the Toyota land Cruiser holds a special place in the hearts of auto enthusiasts all over the world. Toyota sits in the off-road hall of fame thanks to this vehicle. Toyota rolled out the FJ40 series in 1960 to compete with the likes of Land Rovers, Jeeps, and later the Ford Bronco and Chevrolet K10. The FJ40 was a rugged, two-door, 4x4 vehicle with amazing off-road capabilities, and rather primitive interior treatments. The hard top is removable so open-air cruising is a possibility. FJs came without carpet and with vinyl upholstery, so even if you're out in the mud and in the elements, they're easy to keep clean. This is a truck you can literally just hose out. The front sports a separated bench style seat, and the rear has "jump seats" which can be folded aside for more cargo space. Under the hood of this Land Cruiser you'll find the 2F 4.2L inline 6-cylinder engine, backed up by a 4-speed manual transmission and a 4x4 transfer case. Stout axle’s front and rear and retro off-road tires will take this thing just about anywhere you want to go. This FJ is clean inside and out. All the underside and frame are rust free, and the body panels painted in an olive-green color that give it a very cool almost military feel. This FJ runs and drives great and is just begging for mud, rocks, and trails! This FJ would make a great weekend warrior or a daily driver, and will put most new 4x4s to shame off the pavement. Vintage 4x4s are in high demand, and most have rusted away to nothing. Luckily this Toyota has been well preserved and is ready for many more years of duty. To view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and videos, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information on this 1977 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser, email us at dallas@gatewayclassiccars.com or call 817-310-9400.

Mileage: 13,375 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to offer this low mileage 2005 Hummer H2. GM unleashed these off-road behemoths in 2002 as the new age iteration of the original H1. Like the Hummers that preceded it, the H2 maintained its larger than life appearance as well as the off-road performance that made the brand famous. With gas prices through the roof and poor financial planning on the part of GM, the Hummer brand ceased production back in 2009 making these trucks a prime candidate as a future collector’s item. For many of the H2s, their Hummer name was immediately put to the test and with seemingly endless customization options available at the time, owners were quick to modify their H2. The example on offer is likely one of the most original low miles H2 you’ll find. With only around 13000 miles, this H2 remains untouched and would be the perfect addition for a collector. The only modification that was made on this H2 was an upgraded Corsa exhaust with a beautifully subtle sound coming from the 6.2L V8. The exterior is a brilliant classic Black with the factory silver wheels with the full-sized spare mounted to the tailgate. Inside the cabin you’ll find a spacious black leather interior with factory navigation and touch screen. Sitting in the drivers’ seat you’re greeted with all the bells and whistles from the factory giving this off road machine a surprising feeling of high end luxury. In the back there is plenty of room for additional passengers plus an additional third row seat. If you are looking for a future collectors item then be sure this 2005 Hummer H2 is on the list. For more information regarding this beautiful Hummer H2 please call the Chicago Showroom at 708-444-4488 or email us at Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com. Additional photos and HD video of the vehicle running and driving can be found at GatewayClassicCars.com.

1960 Pontiac Catalina Safari

1960 Pontiac Catalina Safari

Engine: 5.7L LS1 V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 25,000 ( since rebuilt )

Now for sale at Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is a unique 1960 Pontiac Catalina Safari wagon. This is not the family wagon that your dad bought in 1960! This baby has been customized from stem to stern. Covered in a rich Brandywine Metallic-over-Gray two-tone color scheme, this sleek restomod has a classic look with a modern touch. Inside, its custom tan interior sports synthetic leather seating (including a power driver's seat), with all new carpeting and headliner, a custom overhead console, custom door panels, and dual front and rear Vintage A/C systems. The custom-ride nature continues with its tilt column, topped by a billet aluminum steering wheel, AM/FM/CD radio with 4 speakers, and tinted glass all around. Its digital dash helps the driver monitor the critical functions of the Nickens Brothers-built Corvette LS1 and 4L60E auto trans, which only have about 25K miles since being transplanted into their new host. A custom ECU with PSI wiring harness provide modern serviceability and enable the use of all the new electronic goodies needed for the LS1/4L60E combo. The stout LS1 breathes in via a custom Spectre CAI, and exhausts via a custom dual exhaust setup that sounds great. A big Champion aluminum radiator with electric fan helps keep the powerplant running cool, and a finned transmission cooler helps do the same for the 4L60E. Its Air Ride suspension has plenty of RideTech parts, and the controls and gauges to monitor the pressures are housed in a custom console to the left of the driver's seat. Naturally, all these accoutrements will get the driver's juices flowing enough that the speedometer may be overlooked enough that a good set of brakes become crucial. Of course, that's been thought of too, with huge Corvette slotted/cross-drilled rotors up front, and slotted/cross-drilled Wilwood rotors out back - all of which are nabbed by the Corvette front calipers and Wilwoods at the rear, which serve to scrub off the excess velocity you may have inadvertently generated during spirited driving. Its extra-meaty ultra-low profile Falken performance radials (235/35-19 front, 275/35-20 rear) help keep plenty of rubber on the road whilst you're barreling down the interstate, and they are set off nicely by the Intro Retro billet wheels that they're wrapped around. Transmission: 5 Speed Manual
Mileage: 78,323 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this hard-to-find 1986 Land Rover Defender 110 (110" being the truck's wheelbase) in white with a very roomy and stylish black leather interior. This one's equipped for serious duty with a 4.0L V8 with a five speed manual transmission, four wheel drive, no creature comforts like AC or a radio, and plenty of ground clearance to make sure you can go anywhere you want to go. Land Rovers are a heavy and very solid vehicle that they can stand up to most anything. What makes this Land Rover so unusual is that it was bought new in Europe and then sent to the US as a "gray market" vehicle. At the time it was imported, gray market cars were very popular in the US. Many vehicles that were exported to the US from Europe entered the country without all of the required safety and emissions equipment then seen on US-specific cars and trucks. This is one of those vehicles. Not that Land Rover makes an unsafe vehicle, it has many different specifications than similar US market vehicles making them unique and very appealing for people looking for an unusual ride. Looking at this Defender 110, it looks like something you'd ride in if you were on an African Safari. You'll never see another one like it. This is the ultimate Bug-Out vehicle when you are just done with the Rat Race and want to get away into the big great outdoors! This truck is perfect for going on surf-ari. 1963 Ford Fairlane Drag Wagon

1963 Ford Fairlane Drag Wagon

Engine: 427 CID V8 425HP
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 67,561 ( undocumented )

Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this stunning 1963 Ford Fairlane Drag Wagon. The name is derived from Henry Ford's estate, Fair Lane, near Dearborn, Michigan. This 1963 Ford Fairlane wagon has been a drag racer in the Pacific Northwest for many years.it has extensive race history with Oregon Ford Dealers association,a very historic car that spent a lot of its life owned by Ford motor company and was on Ford’s race team it was restored a couple years ago with all decals placed in original location. After it's time with Ford, it was later sold to Mooneyes Equipment, raced in Oregon, California, and even Japan! We have seen many Thunderbolt Tributes, but never one based on a wagon, and this one is even better because it has real history. It has a modernized engine, yet the exterior retains older paint and graphics. Fantastic! The car sits right and the staggered steel wheels with long Moroso studs, which cannot be beat. The rear suspension and wide 11.5" Mickeys are nicely tucked underneath and don’t really hint at their increased capability. The red interior offers a nice contrast and doesn’t dig the Sun sweep tachometer on the dash and the roll-bar that extends back into the cargo area. The stock bench and steering wheel look great! The engine is the best part of the car and sets it apart from the small blocks we typically seen in wannabe T-bolts and Fairlane drivers. It combines a 427 block with twin 600 CFM carbs under a proper looking airbox and T-bolt headlight duct system. The transmission is a built C6. If you’re ready to stand out in a crowd or simply haul “butt” away from them, this is the vehicle for you! To view this in 1963 Ford Fairlane, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 2015 Jeep Wrangler Starwood Edition

Engine: 3.6L V6 SFI DOHC 24V
Transmission: 6 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 19,502 ( actual )

For sale in our Dallas Fort Worth showroom is an Urban Assault Vehicle, this highly customized 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Starting with an already formidable Wrangler, Starwood Motors took this Jeep and had their way with it. Underneath, this monster has received a ProComp lift with ProComp shocks. The 35 inch Nitto Trail Grappler MT tires are wrapped around 18x9 XD wheels. Of course with trucks that sit this high, getting in and out can be a challenge to all but the tallest occupants, but the Smittybilt SRC step sliders make it a snap. To ensure this off-road Cadillac is as tough as it looks, the Smittybilt SRC Gen2 front bumper was added with a Warn 12,000k winch, and Bushwacker pocketed fender flares. Then, the whole truck was sprayed in a custom Starwood Grey Metallic Dupont Kevlar, making this Jeep impervious to the elements. The headlights and taillights are JW Speaker LED units. The Rugged Ridge Performance Vented Hood really finished off the aggressive look. Inside, this Jeep transforms from all business to pure driving pleasure with the A/C, AM/FM/CD, GPS navigation, power windows, power locks, and hill descent control. If you want a Jeep that has been done to the nines, then your search stops here.
