Engine: 429 CID V8Transmission: 4 Speed ManualMileage: 9 ( since rebuilt )
For sale in our Dallas Fort Worth showroom is the famous, concours restored, Ford Mustang Boss 429! In 1970 Ford produced just 499 of these to compete with Chrysler's 426 Hemi in the NASCAR circuit. These engines were severely underrated at 375 horsepower. Some sources say actual horsepower was far and beyond 500, in fact this car was actually put on a dyno during restoration and is rated at 590! In order to fit this engine in the Mustang, Ford contracted out the work to Kar Kraft in Brighton, MI to complete the heavy modifications. This Boss 9 has been restored to the condition it would have come out of the factory in '70 by the famous Kevin Manley. The car's original colors have been retained: Grabber Blue on the outside, and a beautiful White vinyl interior. Where Mach 1s and Shelbys are typically adorned with striping, the Boss 429 has a much more subtle exterior scheme. Mono-tone paint and simple "Boss 429" lettering on the fender make the car a bit of a sleeper. Take a peek at the undercarriage and it is clear no expense was spared when refurbishing the vehicle. The underside is smoothly painted and shows zero evidence of road time. Every nut, bolt, and panel has been professionally refinished, rebuilt, or replaced back to the original specifications. Every paint marking and decal that Kar Kraft put on the Boss 9 during the original build was put back in place. Hop inside and the interior looks and feels like brand new. The wood grain dashboard and large analogue clock certainly scream 1970, but the 4 speed shifter and full instrumentation scream race car. The Boss 9 was the top of the line Mustang so of course it came well equipped. A Boss 429 is on any Mustang collector's list. This is a stunning concours example of the breed, and would be a wonderful addition to any collection. To view the 1970 Boss 429 in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. This GT-500 is 1 of only 5 that were ever created. Backed up with a MARTI report, this Shelby GT-500 has a dealer installed 427 side oiler. This rare Mustang had a complete rotisserie restoration completed on it and is as good as the day it drove off of the showroom floor! All of the stampings down to the Kelsey Hayes rims and steering wheel are correct for the era and is truly amazing to see a piece of automotive history preserved as well as this one has. The 427 side oiler has always been one of the most sought after of Ford engines for their high performance and racing pedigree. The Shelby GT-500 was the most powerful Mustang created in 1967 and was created in very limited quantities overall. This engine configuration from the factory was expected to make over 450 horsepower and the numbers were typically under rated. The look of the late sixties Mustang fastbacks are timeless. The swooping lines and sharp edges are unforgettable. This iconic American muscle car is not just a pretty face though. The car runs and drives very well and feels like endless amounts of power. As you drive along it is hard not to get caught up in the nostalgia while gripping the wood grain steering wheel and are looking into the faces of each Shelby gauge then looking to your right and seeing Carroll Shelby’s signature on the glove box is the icing on the cake! This piece of history is well documented and in superb shape. No matter if you plan on using at just a show piece or to drive occasionally you are surely to be the only one in your group with the same car. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-500 in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to present this ultra rare and desirable 1966 Shelby GT350 Fastback Mustang. Documentation and known history are two important attributes for collector cars. This 1966 Shelby GT350, SFM6S2185, possesses plenty of both. As noted in the Shelby American Automobile Club’s “Shelby Registry 1965-67,” the GT350 was shipped from the Shelby American assembly facility in Los Angeles to Ford Motor Company in June 1966, then delivered to Courtesy Motors in Littleton, Colorado. In the 1970s, the Shelby was owned by a southern California detective who sometimes used this beauty as an undercover vehicle. Since 1979, it has been in the hands of collectors to ensure it was cared for through the years. During the 1980s, it participated in west coast shows, including SAAC-6 and the Palo Alto Concours D’Elegance. From 1987 to 2013, the GT350 was owned by a private collector; a 1988 restoration resulted in numerous Best of Show awards, perfect scores from both SAAC and the Mustang Club of America, and features in several magazines. “Super Ford” magazine named it “the best Shelby of the year” for 1989. The Guardsman Blue GT350 retains much of its original equipment, including the factory-installed 4-speed transmission and matching-numbers 289 Hi-Po V-8 that was modified to Shelby specs for 306 horsepower. Like all 1966 GT350s, the car was delivered to Shelby American as a K-code Mustang fastback, then upgraded with a Cobra aluminum intake with Holley carb, Tri-Y headers, Koni shock absorbers, rear traction bars, 15-inch wheels, dash-mounted tachometer, competition seatbelts and wood steering wheel. Externally, the Shelby models differed from regular Mustangs with a fiberglass hood with scoop, plexiglas rear quarter windows and side scoops. Only 2,378 were built. In 2014, this car underwent a fresh restoration by Orlando Mustang, which resulted in Best in Class awards at the 2104 Keels and Wheels Concours D’Elegance and the 2015 Valero Show. It was featured in the July 2015 “Mustang Times” and displayed at the Bush Library from August to October 2016. Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta proudly presents a 1967 Ford Eleanor Mustang. Everybody knows the real star of the last Gone in 60 Seconds movie was the car. This Mustang pays tribute to the star of the movie, and this car is an excellent performer. Under the peper gray Dupont paint, this Eleanor rides great and has disc brakes at all four corners. Under the hood, things get real serious with a professionally built 351W based engine. Total cubic displacement comes in at a whopping 427 inches! The engine was built by Unique Performance systems with Edlelbrock Victor Jr. heads. The 427 is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission that sends the power to a rock-solid Ford 9-inch rear end. Professionally crafted by Galpin Auto Sports aka GAS in Van Nuys, California, this handmade GT-500 is a sight to behold! With over 8 months alone in the body and paint, the body was sculpted out of metal and was coated in a custom pepper gray metallic paint that looks sinister from all angles. Shaved door handles keep the look sleek and freshly powder coated Forgiato 3-piece GTR wheels finish off the look well. A clear bra was placed on multiple areas of the car as well to protect it from stone chips. This car makes an amazing show car but performs just as well on the track! Awaiting to come alive under the hood sits a 5.4L V8 that came in the GT-500’s originally, however this one has been equipped with a 2.3L VMP supercharger producing a dyno-proven 700+ horsepower to the rear wheels! Bigger injectors, oversized aluminum Shelby intercooler, Ford Racing single blade throttle body connected to a cold air intake, and a Diablo tune insures max efficiency and power. Keeping this Shelby hooked to the pavement is a Ford Racing performance lowering suspension and a Watts 4-link in the rear. This paired with the 11.5” wide wheels up front and 14” wide wheels on the rear, this Mustang handles like it is on rails! With so much power and excellent cornering abilities, the only thing left are the brakes. Taking care of this is a set of Wilwood disc brakes both front and rear with 6-piston calipers up front and 4-pistons in the rear grabbing down on a set of cross drilled and slotted rotors. There are few cars out there that are as well-equipped as this GT-500 and would make an excellent car for a true driving enthusiast. Whether their plan is to show it off or rip it around the track this wild Mustang will not disappoint. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this unbelievably rare 2014 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350. The GT350 was Shelby’s first entry into the Mustang market and boy did he do it right. Available only in Wimbledon white with blue stripes these fastbacks are still some of the most sought-after cars in the collector car world. In 2011 the legend would return but with an extremely limited run of only 350 cars over a 3-year span with the end date being December 31st, 2013. This wicked red convertible was 1 of 1 that year as they only made 8 in 2014, but with its 624HP supercharged engine, it is the most wicked of the bunch. The Race Red paint with those classic white stripes is a definite eye catcher and is by far my favorite of the bunch. Pop open the hood and you will see what has become quite a phenomenon in the car world. The Coyote motor is capable of 440HP straight from Ford but in true Shelby fashion that was not good enough. This one has been upgraded all the way to 624 mind numbing HP that you feel every time you turn the key. Matched up to the Getrag MT82 6 speed is a dream come true allowing the driver complete control of every of every shift. The electronic steering gives great feed back yet can be driven with one finger. Peek thru those black wheels and you will see the Wilwood brakes staring back at you. Inside Shelby has had its touch on the interior as well with the leather seats being reupholstered with the classic GT350 logo stitched into the headrest. The huge touchscreen is a nice feature and shows how far these cars have come in the past 50 years. Hit the button for the drop the top so you can show off that beautiful interior. The roll bar looks great and lets people know that this is not just any Mustang. This GT350 has all accommodating paperwork including the Shelby certification, and original window sticker. Owned by only 2 people the car is as clean as they come and is sure to go up in value as it sits there looking good. Options on this 2014 Ford Mustang GT350 is include, Power Convertible Top, Air Conditioning, Shaker Sound System including AM/FM/CD, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Steering, Tilt Steering Wheel, Power Brakes, Anti- Lock Brakes, Seat Belts, Driver/Passenger Side Air Bags, Keyless Entry, Leather Interior and Factory Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Performance tires. One-Hundred Percent of the Proceeds from the sale of this vehicle benefit Wipe Out Kid's Cancer in Dallas, Texas. For sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom is a 2014 Ford Mustang Boss 302S. Most auto enthusiasts know that Ford offered its modern rendition of the Boss 302 Mustang during the 2012 and 2013 model years. But less known is the fact that the race-bred Boss 302S continued as a 2014 model. Offered through Ford Racing, only 50 were built as turn-key, factory-built race cars. They would be the last of the modern Boss 302s. Designed for track days and road racing in a number of SCCA and NASA classes, every 2014 Boss 302S Mustang started life as a body-in-white before delivery to Watson Racing for completion as a track-only vehicle. At Watson, the Boss 302S was equipped with its 5.0-liter Boss 302 engine optimized with racing calibration, T-6060 6-speed transmission, and a Torsen TR2 differential with 3.73:1 gears. Suspension upgrades included 3-way adjustable dampers, caster/camber plates, Ford Racing adjustable sway bars, and tubular lower control arms with extended ball joints and a Derlin bushing kit. Externally, the limited-edition Boss 302S was prepared for competition with a carbon-fiber front splitter, fiberglass hood with air extractors, an adjustable rear wing, and 19-inch wheels. Competition prep also included a quick-release steering wheel, duct kit to cool the Brembo 4-piston brakes, FIA-spec 6-point roll cage, front and rear tow hooks, switch plate with start/ignition, fire-suppression system, window net, master cut-off switch, and 6-point safety harness. In other words, the Boss 302S was built as a race-ready Mustang from the factory. A red “S” within the traditional Boss 302 hockey-stick stripes identified the special track-ready model. This Boss 302S is number 28 of the 50 produced for 2014. In addition to the standard competition components, it is also equipped with the optional Recaro XL driver’s seat and Satin Black paint, a $5,995 option. Engine: 302 CIDTransmission: 4 Speed ManualMileage: 17,305 ( undocumented )
For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth Showroom is a 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302. The Camaro/Mustang rivalry had begun in 1967 with the introduction of the Chevrolet Camaro by General Motors. The Camaro was the largest threat to the lead Ford had in the "pony car" field, a market segment largely created by Ford with the introduction of the Mustang in mid-year 1964. The performance of the Mustang with 289 and 390 engines was not up to the Camaro, with its small block and big block V8. In an effort to improve the Mustang's image Ford made a 428 Cobra Jet V8 and a Ford Boss 302 engine optional for the 1968 mid-year and 1969 models, respectively. The 1969–70 Boss 302 (Hi-Po) engine was created in 1968 for the SCCA's 1969 Trans-Am road racing series. Available in the Boss 302 Mustangs of 1969–70, it's a unique Ford small-block engine featuring a thin-wall, high nickel content block casting. It differed substantially from regular 302s, with 4-bolt mains, screw in freeze plugs, and heads using a canted valve design being developed for the planned 351 Cleveland (which debuted the following year). The construction was aided by the two engines sharing a cylinder head bolt pattern, though the Boss 302 heads had to have their coolant passages slightly modified. This optional engine, and indeed the entire vehicle package, including handling and aerodynamic aids, was made available for the express purpose of meeting the guidelines to compete in the SCCA Trans-Am series, which limited engine displacement to 305 C.I.D. (5.0L) in order to compete. To view this vehicle in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and videos, visit our website at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is a unicorn of sorts. This one though is quite a unique unicorn. In fact if you Google “Blue Eleanor” this car is what you will find. A 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback that started life as a 390 CID car, many many hands were involved in making this dream a reality. The body work was done by Desert Mustangs in Scottsdale AZ. She has made the circuits and was sold at Barrett-Jackson in 2006 and then underwent many thousands of dollars worth of work on the drivetrain to make this monster work in real life. So now the engine is a fully built bored and stroked 398 CID V8 that started as a 351 Cleveland. All of the supporting parts are top notch and support the 575 horsepower this engine creates. There are some cool tricks too. The custom exhaust is very muted until you flip the switch on the center console that opens the exhaust, the car then sings a very different tune. The neighbors will not be very happy with you running through the neighborhood banging through the T56 six speed transmission. All of this is backed by a Ford 9 inch rear differential with 3.89:1 gears and locking differential. No she isn’t a one trick pony either, ac makes driving in any area or time of year comfortable, power steering and power brakes make it all buttery smooth for driving. And please don’t think she is just a show pony either, she did 167 mph in a half mile runway race recently. For all of this shock and awe this is a well sorted car with just the right options that include AC, CD Player, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Radial Tires, and Aluminum Alloy Wheels. For sale in our Nashville showroom is a beautiful 1968 Mustang Shelby GT350 Tribute. Now this is not your average tribute in fact this one might make Carroll a little envious! This little pony has all the tricks from the drop dead deep blue paint job to the kidney kicking 351 Windsor power plant that pumps out a dynode 450 horses! But let’s start at the beginning. This 1968 GT 350 for sale started life as a fastback and a vision. This pretty pony spent quite some time strapped to the rotisserie as she was stripped and massaged as no new body panel were used. She is this wearing all the original metal she was began with of course some of this original metal was covered by Shelby fiberglass panels and then all of it was layered with this deep blue paint. Even the under coating was well thought out as catalyzed bed liner was used for protection, looks and added insulation. For the interior Mustangs to fear were called on to provide their High quality components. Now to the good stuff! Under the hood is a high revving Windsor 351 that is .030 over and filled with all the good stuff like forged piston, roller rockers and hefty bump stick. Bolted to the top of this combo are Edlebrock aluminum heads and RPM air gap intake manifold and perched on top of all these goodies is just what you would figure a Holley four barrel carb. Lighting the fires is a MSD ignition system and helping with exhaust gases are ceramic coated headers. Between all this power and the 9 inch Ford holding up the rear of this 68 Mustang for sale is a totally rebuilt C4 3 speed automatic transmission that provides firm shift and controls the under hood beast with precision. So. What you have here is all the fun and style allowed by law and a little extra! Options for this 1968 GT 350 Tribute include: Air conditioning, AM/FM compact disc player, power steering and brakes, Power windows, Leather interior, Seat belts, Radial tires wrapped around rally rims. A $212.15 document fee will be added to the sales price. All purchases may be subject to any applicable tax, title, & licensing fees. We offer this 1971 Ford Mustang Boss 351 for sale in our Atlanta Showroom. If you want to stand on the top of the pile, then a Boss 351 sits at highest point for the blue oval. How could a 351ci V-8 of 1971 grab bragging rights over the likes of 428 Cobra Jets and Boss 429s of the ’68-’70 muscle car era? In the pantheon of early Ford Mustangs, muscle car cognoscenti place the ’71 Boss 351 at the pinnacle for e.t.’s through the quarter-mile. The various “Fifty Fastest” muscle car lists. Most lists placed the Boss 351 at the top of the e.t. ladder of any first-generation Mustang. The consensus of opinion is the Boss 351 was superior to all other first-generation Mustangs in the quarter-mile. What made a Boss 351 so powerful compared to bigger-cube V-8s in the Ford arsenal? “The torque of a big-block with the revving ability of a Boss 302.” Another plus for the Boss 351 was the absence of a power-robbing Thermactor smog system. Those Cobra Jet 428s and Boss 429s, not to mention the smaller-cubed Boss 302s (not even close to a Boss 351 in the quarter-mile), each came with a Thermactor smog pump and hoses. And then there’s the carburetion. The Boss 351 ran an Autolite with a spread bore configuration, while Boss 429s and Cobra Jet 428s utilized Holley four-barrel carburetors. Also, the 735-cfm Holley used on the Boss 429 wasn’t the best-flowing carburetor for the quarter-mile, as the engine was designed and tuned for NASCAR racing. The much smaller Boss 302 came with a 780-cfm Holley, great for high rpm on a road racing course but not for street driving or drag racing. The Autolite brand did not inspire much awe in the old days. But those carburetors did work great. And in the restoration era, the Autolite has become a valuable treasure..In a manner of speaking, the Boss 351 is, “The best of everything.” This Boss 351 just looks so much like a muscle car. Options include: Bias Ply Tires, Power Brakes, Power Steering, AM/FM radio. Rally Wheels, Vinyl interior, Tilt Wheel, and seat belts. Engine: 390 Stroked to 445 Big BlockTransmission: C6 AutomaticMileage: 500 ( since rebuilt )
Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback S-Code. The 1967 Mustang Fastback has gone down as one of the must iconic cars of its era. The sweeping lines and big block engines available only make these cars more desirable and the reason they still bring premium money today. This example left the factory, as verified by the Mart report, with a 390 under the hood also known as an s-code. Taken done and built form the ground up the car is now packing a bored and stroked 390 with a total displacement of 445 cubic inches now giving this car a whole new level of power. Taken from a 69 T-Bird the motor now only has 500 miles on it since it was installed. The built c6 transmission handles all that power nicely shifting through all 3 gears without hesitation. The Ford 9-inch rear end has a 3.25 gear set making the car a pleasure to drive on the back roads and good enough to cruise down the highway. With the posi traction allowing for both rear wheels to lay down rubber at will. With the Grab-a-trac suspension gone through and rebuilt the car handles as if it was racing down the road in 1967. The upgraded Wilwood disc brakes bring this Pony to screeching holt just in case you right foot becomes a little too heavy. The paint on the car is slick and been taken back its original red with the base coat clear coat giving it an even deeper look. The ram air hood lets everyone know that this isn’t your average pony especially with the rumbling from that stroked out big block under the hood. A look inside shows that the original style parchment interior has been used giving the car that factory look. The magnum 500 wheels finish the car off nicely and were one the best wheels to leave the factory. If you have been wanting a great S-Code but a with a little more oomph this red rocket should do the trick. Options on this 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback S code include, AC, AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior and Magnum 500 Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1. This 1970 Mach 1 for sale in covered in iconic Grabber orange with black rally stripe and looks like it just drove out of the showroom for the first time. With the speed of sound being around 761 miles per hour and this speed being designated Mach1, Ford produced Mustangs with this title to let you know just how fast it was. Sitting between the front shock towers is the small block Ford that a lot of big blocks chased back then. The 351 Windsor and sitting on top of this power plant is an Edlebrock® performer 351-w intake with one of Vic’s own Carburetors. This of course provides plenty of power to blister the poor rear tires on this incredible pony car. Bolted to the back of this Engine is a 4-speed manual transmission giving the driver more control of just how long the rear tires last and of course how much smoke he put in the face of the Challenger behind him. The rear axle housing is Fords finest, a 9 inch that houses a 3.50 gear set. Maybe this should be a Mach2? With all this go, there must be enough whoa to go around so, power disc on every corner provide all you will need. Open the driver’s door and slide in to the control seat, let your left foot get used to the throw on the clutch, while your right finds the limit of the loud pedal. While getting used to the controls, take a look around at the like new high-backed bucket seats, center console, dash, carpet and head liner and try to remember that it is 2018 and not 1971. While sitting behind the wheel just try to not run through the gears and imagine the wild ride you could give this car, heck you would make Ken Block want to watch your you tube video. Heck I’ll watch it, I am a sucker for a fastback Mustang and this one is as good as it gets! Options for this 1970 Mustang Mach 1 for sale include: Air conditioning, AM/FM radio, Power steering and Brakes, Seat belts Posi Traction and Radial tires. The year is 1964, The World’s largest cheese is manufactured in Wisconsin for the New York World Fair, US President Lyndon B. Johnson signs Civil Rights Act & Voting Rights Act into law and this gorgeous 1964 ½ HiPo Mustang rolls into dealerships for the first time. Since then she has undergone a full meticulous restoration. Now with only 45 miles on her since the restoration was completed earlier this year. It is believed that only 90 ‘64 ½ HiPo’s coupes were ever produced. The Ford Mustang is an American car manufactured by Ford. It was originally based on the platform of the second generation North American Ford Falcon, a compact car. The original 1962 Ford Mustang I two-seater concept car had evolved into the 1963 Mustang II four-seater concept car which Ford used to pretest how the public would take interest in the first production Mustang. The 1963 Mustang II concept car was designed with a variation of the production model's front and rear ends with a roof that was 2.7 inches shorter. Introduced early on April 17, 1964 (16 days after the Plymouth Barracuda), and thus dubbed as a "1964½" by Mustang fans, the 1965 Mustang was the automaker's most successful launch since the Model A. The Mustang has undergone several transformations to its current sixth generation. It's easily the best thing to come out of Dearborn since the 1932 V-8 Model B roadster. But for all Ford's talk of Total Performance, it's still clear that the Mustang has been designed and built to a price. The necessity of meeting cost goals meant that it had to share a maximum number of components with other models in the Ford line. Out of this situation sprang the advantage of an extremely wide availability of options for the Mustang, selected from the Falcon, Fairlane and Galaxie series. Briefly, it gives the customer a choice of four engines, three clutches, seven transmissions, two driveshafts, four brake systems, four wheel types and three wheel sizes, three suspension systems, and three steering systems. This seems slightly overwhelming until one remembers that only certain combinations are authorized, for either technical or commercial reasons. Lee Anthony Iacocca, vice president and general manager of Ford Division, sees the Mustang first as a family car, which meant that it had to have four seats, with better rear seat accommodation than is offered in the "two-plus-two" category. It's also aimed at a not-clearly-defined market consisting of customers looking for a not-clearly-defined combination of luxury and status. In addition to all this, the Mustang is intended as a sports car. Especially with the 271 HP V8 HiPo, backed by a 4 speed. You’ll feel like Capt. Stanley Tucker, driving this beauty down the road.
