Engine: 3.1L V6 FI
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 78,268 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this all-original Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme convertible. It's only traveled 78,268 miles since it was purchased new by the original owner in Scottsdale in 1990. It was recently purchased at that gentleman's estate sale and has been gone over from top to bottom by the car's second owner. In 1990, Oldsmobile revived the convertible body style, not seen from the boys in Lansing since 1972. This particular car is in a luscious red finish. This survivor Cutlass even has the original owner's manuals in the glovebox along with the "Oldsmobile"-labeled flashlight! All of the standard and optional equipment operates as expected on the car and it runs and drives like a dream. Everything about this nice GM-built soft top is in amazing condition - from the paint, to the interior, to the undercarriage; it all looks excellent and the car appears to only be five years old, not 28! Of course, there are some normal signs of wear, but you need to look closely to see them. This is an affordable American classic that can be enjoyed any time you want to experience the open air motoring this Olds offers. Plus, you can get into the old car hobby at a reasonable price. Don't miss this one! After all, they're only original once. To see 100-plus pictures and a video of this 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pumped to present this ultra-fun 1964 Volkswagen Baja Beetle for sale right now in our Arizona showroom. A Baja Beetle, for those of you new to this fad, is essentially a VW Beetle modified to operate off-road that became a popular trend in the 1960’s following the success of dune buggies. It features body modifications such as a fiberglass trunk lid, removal of running boards and the opening of the rear engine compartment to save weight as well as aiding with cooling. The ride height of this Baja Bug has been raised and has upgraded suspension as well as larger wheels and tires to provide more damping control and greater comfort off-road. When people see you in this Baja bug, it will put a smile on both yours and their faces. 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado

1966 Oldsmobile Toronado

Engine: 425-4V CID
Transmission: Three Speed Automatic
Mileage: 96,413 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars has just consigned a really unusual car with this 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado for sale in our Scottsdale showroom. This was the first year for this truly innovative technology that engineers shared between the Oldsmobile and Cadillac divisions to bring FWD to their model line-up. Although this car has an amateur paint job of the original color, Frost Green, it could use a bit of refining to make it look its best. The rest of the car has many new mechanical components like a rebuilt engine and transmission, new steering gear, new battery, alternator, water pump, and more. It's a very reliable driver and was recently driven quite a distance to bring it in to consign. The heat and A/C even work. The green interior is a nice complement to the exterior. Although the car needs some final tinkering to get everything in perfect cosmetic and working order, this classic Olds can be driven reliably now while you work on getting it perfect. These first-gen Toronados are starting to get noticed by collectors and are rising in price because these cars offer unique styling not seen at GM during that time period. Buy this one before they get too expensive. You're guaranteed not to see another one at the local cruise night, but you'll get everyone's attention when you pull up in it. Only 4,670 Allantes were sold new for the model year. This car is a prime example of the breed. Bought from a gentleman from Scottsdale, this beauty has always been in the desert climate. Some of the weather-stripping needs to be replaced, but this Cadillac looks, runs, drives, stops, and steers perfectly. It's hard to believe that it's 25 years old now. Here's your chance to buy a ground-breaking design in a Cadillac for a fraction of what it was new (nearly $60K). Don't miss it. 1992 Cadillac Allante

1992 Cadillac Allante

Engine: 4.5L V8 MPI OHV
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic with Overdrive
Mileage: 82,335 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to make this beautiful 1992 Cadillac Allante available for sale in our Arizona showroom. These gorgeous cars were originally conceptualized as direct competitors for all of the European imports that were in the marketplace at that time. The bodies were all built in Italy by Pininfarina throughout the entire production run from 1987 to 1993. Just over 21,000 were final assembled in the US after the bodies were imported in specially-designed Boeing 747s.By the time this strikingly elegant car was built, Cadillac was using the 4.5L V8 engine that cranked out 200 HP. All used the four speed automatic transmissions, which is exactly what this car has. Brand new, these essentially hand-built luxury sports cars in convertible-only form retailed for $58,470! Add in the low production color on this one of Pearl White (YL3) where only 443 cars were built at an extra cost of $700 and you have one really rare convertible! The tan leather interior is like new, inviting a driver and passenger to experience the drive that one can only get from a Cadillac - "The Standard of the World".This beauty has had only 82K miles put on it in the past quarter century (not verifiable from GCC) and has had all necessary service work done at the factory-specified intervals. The current owner acquired this Caddy in 1995 and has lovingly pampered it just like the original owner did. Everything works flawlessly and as designed. He's even including a tonneau cover and a car cover for the next owner. Will that be you? 1985 Mazda RX7 13B

1985 Mazda RX7 13B

Engine: 1.3L R F
Transmission: Five Speed Manual
Mileage: 92,293 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to offer this 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE for sale right now in our Arizona showroom. Mazda first offered the revolutionary ‘Wankel’ rotary engine powering this RX-7 in 1978. The engine defied the norm with its design by featuring a triangular rotor that revolves around the combustion chamber instead of the traditional pistons, resulting in a much smaller displacement. On top of this, the engine was so light and compact that it could be mounted behind the front axle and meant the RX-7 had a perfect 50/50 weight distribution. Following the initial success of the 12A engine, Mazda introduced the slightly higher displacement 13B rotary engine with a larger output of 135hp that was exclusive to the GSL-SE in 1984/85. Paired to this peppy motor is a responsive 5-speed manual transmission and unique to the GSL-SE over base model RX-7’s is limited slip differential, larger brakes and distinctive wheels (the owner has stated he will include these original wheels with the sale). Our RX-7 for sale right now in our Scottsdale location is quite possibly the best example I have ever seen, and I grew up seeing these cars all over the place on the West Coast in the 1990’s! The car has been repainted in its original silver, it features a custom Kenwood stereo with oversized speakers behind the seats and all windows have been tinted meaning you will look extra cool driving this retro Japanese coupe! The Carfax shows that this car has spent its entire life in California and Arizona (southwest car) and has 92,293 original miles (mileage cannot be verified by GCC). The good news for perspective buyers of an RX-7 is that prices for these probable future collectibles remain affordable. Now is your chance to pick this usable, practical classic for a great deal! For more information on our 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE for sale please call our helpful and knowledgeable sales team at (623) 900-4884 or email us directly at scottsdale@gatewayclassiccars.com

1979 Volkswagen Beetle

1979 Volkswagen Beetle

Engine: 4-cyl OHV
Transmission: 5 Speed Manual
Mileage: 19,800 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Scottsdale Showroom is this 1979 VW Beetle convertible with a Fuel Injected engine and 5 speed transmission. The 1979 model year was the last year for the convertible Beetle which makes this car even more desirable. There were many upgrades done to the Beetle throughout its long production history and this car incorporates many of those improvements. The Bosch electronic fuel injection on this car insures easy starting in all weather and increases horsepower and gas mileage. The Macpherson strut front suspension gives this Beetle better handling and rid than earlier models. Unlike many vintage VWs that have had questionable and not always beneficial “modifications” done, this Bug is just as the engineers at Volkswagen who designed these cars intended. The body looks original on this car and is in good shape although there appears to be rust on the floorboards which was repaired with sheet metal and screws. The car has had a repaint at some point which looks good and the glass is in good condition as well. The soft top has no tears and works well, and the back glass is good, the black interior is also in good condition. There is a Sony AM/FM/CD player in the dash that works great to play your favorite tunes. This car runs, drives and shifts as it should and is ready to take you on your next open road adventure, so put the top down, let the sun shine and let the good times roll in this classic VW Beetle convertible! Remember yesterday’s thinkers are todays buyers so don’t wait. Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to offer this one-of-a-kind 1980 Chevrolet Monte Carlo for sale in our Arizona showroom. The pedal-to-the-metal bug sometimes makes a docile man with a beautiful street car strip everything that is deemed unnecessary from it, just to eak out a little more speed. This flat black colored car could be one of the fastest Monte Carlos out there. Check out the performance parts found on this street and strip 38-year-old Chevy...a stroker 383 CID small block putting the power to a fully-prepped Turbo 400 transmission which thrusts the muscle to the street via a narrowed 4.10 geared rear axle. This car is very fast, but can also be driven on the street. The black vinyl interior is all business and there are no frills like AC to add extra unwanted weight or parasitic power lose to this now-svelte street bruiser. You can own a very reliable car that you won't see every cruise night or at at your neighborhood car show. The cost of the performance parts alone are much more than the asking price. A recent recipient of a thorough going-over at a reputable local shop, this baby is ready to rock. Don't miss this 1980 Chevy Monte Carlo for sale right now in our Scottsdale showroom. 1978 Lincoln Town Car

1978 Lincoln Town Car

Engine: 460 CID V8
Transmission: Three Speed Automatic
Mileage: 50,481 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is happy to be offering this mostly original 1978 Lincoln Town Car for sale in our Arizona showroom. This Town Car is one of the last TRUE Survivors! When this car was New Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind and Jaws 2 were the big Blockbusters! For years, the Lincoln Town Car has been the epitome of a "car built for executives" since it's inception. The original Gold Poly paint still looks acceptable, but it has faded and has some road rash in places. The "Ultra Velour" interior is a complimentary gold color and looks comfortable, just like your living room sofa. It remains in excellent condition. The vinyl top is a pleasing contrast to the rest of the car. 1978 was Ford's Diamond Anniversary (75 years) and this was the second to the last year that the Town Car was really a "full sized car". How's this for specs...127.2" wheelbase, 233" overall length, 4958 lbs with fluids and a 460-4V engine cranking out 156 HP. When driving this vintage luxury car, you'll soon realize that the definition of "luxury" when it comes to automobiles from this era versus today is really different. This car has only had one owner and the owner claims the mileage is original, but this has not been confirmed by GCC. There are a growing number of collectors gravitating toward the luxury American cars of the 1970's, and this Lincoln fits the bill perfectly. Don't miss buying a low mile, one owner, mostly original 1978 Lincoln Town Car for sale right now in our facility. 1966 MG Midget Mark III

Engine: 1.3L 1275cc A-Series I-4
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 47,940 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this wonderful example of a 1966 MG Midget Mark III for sale. Adorned in an attractive hue of silver, the classically-British two seater reminds us of a time when cars didn't have to melt the asphalt with a ton of horsepower, but rather relied on style and image to help the owner make a statement. Under the hood is the modest 1.3L 1275CC A Series inline four engine, which is an absolute joy to drive and sounds amazing as you rev this car through the gears. Moving the tires is a rear wheel drive line tied to a four speed manual transmission, and let just admit, it is a lot more fun to drive a roadster when it’s a standard than an automatic. When you slip into the black and blue upholstered interior, be sure you have your cap, pipe, tweed jacket, and ascot on so that when admiring people see you motoring down the road, you'll be sure to get noticed. This car is sure to please an enthusiast who enjoys open-cockpit driving in a vintage English two seater where the journey is more important than the destination. This stylish example of a 1966 MG Midget Mark III for sale right now will sell fast. Don't miss it. Our 1966 MG Midget for sale includes: Seat belts, cloth interior, a convertible top, and radial tires. No need to sleep on it, this is a great deal on a great car! 1979 Mercedes-Benz 450SL

1979 Mercedes-Benz 450SL

Engine: 4500CC 4.5L V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 81,711 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this well-preserved, low mileage 1979 Mercedes-Benz 450SL roadster. This elegant motor car has had an average of less than 2100 miles per year added to the odometer since it was purchased new in the Phoenix area while Jimmy Carter was our president. The third and current owner, like the two before her, is very meticulous when it comes to maintenance, storage, and limited use. To make sure the car is ready for its new owner, the fuel pump and water pump were both recently replaced. In addition, the transmission has been gone through and the air conditioning has been serviced and blows cold. All fluids have been flushed and replaced as well as any service work deemed necessary to keep this beauty running, driving, steering, and braking up to original factory specs. All the original owner's publications and the tool kit are still in the vehicle. Cosmetically, this elegant motor car has original paint and interior. The paint looks great except for some minor lacquer crazing on the trunklid. The soft top is new, and all of the trim and ornamentation looks new. Tires look great, as well. Overall, this car should provide years and years of reliable service and provide the new owner with many "smiles per gallon". Considering its age, the car is very agile on the road, especially compared to many of its contemporaries then, and even a decade later. Remember yesterday’s thinkers are todays buyers so act now before it is too late. Let’s put this car in your home. Sporting the original gold paint with the owner-added two tone chocolate brown,it looks like it may have been ordered that way, but sharp-eyed Z-car people will know better. The black interior is all original as well, and certainly doesn't look like it's over 40 years old. The owner claims the tires are brand new and the car was serviced just prior to coming in here on consignment.
