1988 GMC S15 Convertible

1988 GMC S15 Convertible

Engine: 2.5L Inline 4
Transmission: 5 Speed Manual w/OD
Mileage: 40,633 ( actual )

This custom 1988 GMC S15 is available in our Louisville KY showroom. The S15 was GMC’s version of the S10 which was a light truck that sold very well from 1983 to 1990. Many of these trucks were used as platforms in the mini truck world, a term used for lowered customized light trucks popular in the early 90’s. This example is a one owner low mileage truck that had a ton of custom work done over the years. Stat with the body and paint, the custom front end gives it a sporty style while making it appear even lower. The paint on the truck is custom and typical of what you would see done in that era. The top was cut off making this little s15 a convertible with its removable hardtop. The wheels on the truck are Dayton’s, the original spoke wheel used on many low riders. The gold spokes are clean and with these being true knock off’s that spinner is not just for looks. Under the custom louvered hood, the original engine still runs great and with it being the 2.5 liter does great on gas. The manual transmission shifts out great with the clutch still having a great feel. Inside the interior has been customized as well with the bucket seats having a velour material making them soft to the touch. The white Grant steering wheel is a great touch with the full size panoramic rear-view mirror really putting an exclamation point on the build. Options on this 1988 GMC S15 include, AM/FM Radio, Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt Wheel, and Knock Off Wire Dayton’s with Radial Tires. 1977 MG MGB Convertible

1977 MG MGB Convertible

Engine: Inline 4
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 60,051 ( undocumented )

The Louisville Showroom is proud to present this 1977 MG MGB for sale. In structure the MGB was an innovative, modern design in 1962, utilizing a monocoque structure instead of the traditional body-on-frame construction used on both the MGA and MG T-types and the MGB's. However, components such as brakes and suspension were developments of the earlier 1955 MGA with the B-Series engine having its origins in 1947. The lightweight design reduced manufacturing costs while adding to overall vehicle strength. Wind-up windows were standard, and a comfortable driver's compartment offered plenty of legroom. A parcel shelf was fitted behind the seats. This MGB has money and an owners love poured into maintaining a great running and driving MG. With only 60000 actual miles on this little Gem, this MGB will provide years of enjoyment. This MGB has been refreshed by the owner with an all new interior, so you can drive this British motorcar legend with confidence and enjoyment. 1979 Lincoln Mark V

Engine: 400 CID V8
Transmission: 3 -Speed Automatic
Mileage: 60,144 ( actual )

For sale is this beautiful 1979 Lincoln Mark V is in our Louisville showroom. The owner’s Grandfather bought it new in 1979. The grandson has inherited this but has decided it is time to find it a new home. This great big ol’Mark V only has 60144 miles. There are still tons of miles to be enjoyed with this one. By the time the late 70’s rolled around there was a one thing cars had in common and that was size. Cars of that era were huge and this Mark V is a great example of a personal luxury car as the market was coined. Though you could get a Gran Prix, Cutlass or even a Thunderbird, none would come close to the Lincoln Mark V. The exterior is in good condition with no signs of rust and what appear to be the original panels. This 4600 LB piece of American art looks great sitting still or cruising down highway as these old boats love to do. With the Hide-away lights and chromed out front end it is easy to see why these are in such demand. Under the hood is where the gloves come off however as this Mark is not your average ride. With the tires, recently balanced and rotated the ride quality is everything you would expect. Open the door and the plush tan leather interior is inviting and is probably even more comfortable than it looks. The interior brings out the landau top and ties everything together nicely. 1948 Ford Pickup

1948 Ford Pickup

Engine: 307 CID V8
Transmission: TH350
Mileage: 1,500 ( since rebuilt )

This 1948 Ford pickup is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. Rat Rods have been around since the early 70’s but have recently gone mainstream. With there over the top I don’t care what you think style they usually get more attention than a custom show car. This 48 Ford truck was built to drive and get a bunch thumbs up as you go down the road. The body of the truck is in great shape with the satin green really getting people to look twice. With the front grill coming from a 450 Case dozer you can be certain you won’t have to worry about pulling up to another one at the stoplight. The front end has been painted bright red a great accent against that flat green. The flaming river steering box allows for a better feel of the road making the steering more precise. The speedway front calipers work great stopping this ole truck faster than anything in 1948. Under the take-off hood is a rebuilt Chevy 307 that powers this rod down the road just fine. The huge aluminum radiator keeps that small block nice and cool with the electric fan being more of a just in case thing. The huge headers with the collectors coming out each side puts an exclamation point on this radical Rat. Matched up to a rebuilt TH350 that shifts out just as you would expect. The 10-bolt rear end handles the power nicely turning the big back tires with ease. The extremely cool looking aluminum gas tank mounted in the back is classic 60’s era styling. Look inside and a red vinyl bench seat really ties everything together. If you have been wanting to get your hands on a cool ratrod but don’t have the time to build one, this 48 is ready to go. Options on this 1948 Ford Truck include, Custom Wheels with Hubcaps, Vinyl Interior, and Radial Tires. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present one of the nicest Mark IV Lincolns you can find. Having only 28052 miles since new the entire vehicle has been kept in immaculate shape. The Continental Mark IV is a two-door personal luxury coupe that was sold and marketed by the Lincoln division of Ford Motor Company from the 1972 to 1976 model years. Following the success of the Continental Mark III, Lincoln renewed the model line to again compete against the Cadillac Eldorado. Sharing the underpinnings and much of the roofline with the redesigned Ford Thunderbird for 1972, the Mark IV was given distinct body styling from the windows down. In addition, the Mark was distinguished by hidden headlights and the Continental spare tire trunk lid. Everything looks to be in good working order with the exception of the power antenna. This car was literally built for your personal luxury. The ride is soft and supple, idle and acceleration is smooth while giving the car that big boat feel. Push the pedal and the 460 V8 will propel this large luxury 2 door car down the road with ease. 1965 Volkswagen Beetle

1965 Volkswagen Beetle

Engine: 4 Cyl
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 19,784 ( undocumented )

This 1965 Volkswagen Beetle is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. This sinister black beetle is one of the meanest looking and best performing beetle we have had in our showroom. The black paint is slick and shows well but this bug has more than just good looks. The fiberglass hood was used to shave off a couple more LB's. The 145 series tire on the front VS the 215’s on the back begin to give you an idea of what this “Peoples car” is all about. With the hood having that classic tilt opening up top the story is becoming even more clear, this beetle was built to run. The built engine has a ton of aftermarket EMPI parts that give this air-cooled 4 enough power to really open any enthusiasts eyes. The split intake with a set of EMPI carbs really catches the eye while the note coming out of the custom exhaust lets everyone know you mean business. The 4-speed transmission is an absolute blast to shift thru with the pattern feeling tight and close just as it should. The interior is rather original other than that huge tach and a couple gauges added to the dash. That of course is until you see the full roll bar making it safer while adding some rigidity. If you have been wanting to get into one of a bug but have not found one that gets the blood pumping when you drive it this black beetle may be the one. Options on this 1965 Volkswagen Beetle include, Vinyl Interior, and Radial Tires. The engine has been mated to 4-speed automatic transmission. The Camaro only has 43193 original miles on it. Inside the gray cloth interior is in very good shape. There is minor wear on the driver’s seat, but less than expected for a 25-year-old car. Where has the time gone? For me 1993 doesn’t seem that long ago, right? Engine: 107 cubic inch
Transmission: 5 Speed Manual

Gateway Classic cars of Louisville is proud to present this 2003 American Iron Horse Tejas SJ Motorcycle. Because most of their bikes look like one off custom machines, American Iron Horse Choppers remain in high demand in the resale market. I believe a huge factor in their continued high demand, besides their ultra-cool look, was the fact that they chose the American-made S&S engine to power all their motorcycles. Many other motorcycle manufacturers and custom builders went with imported V-twin engines, that most bikers consider way inferior when compared to the S&S engine. American Ironhorse opened for business in 1995. American Ironhorse was the largest factory producer of custom motorcycles in the United States until production ended in 2008. Below are the approximate specifications for the Tejas: Displacement: 107 cubic inches, Engine type: V2, four-stroke, Power: 110.00 HP (80.3 kW), Fuel system: Carbureted, Fuel control: Overhead Valves (OHV), Cooling system: Air, Gearbox: 5-Speed, Transmission type: Manual, Final drive: Belt, Rake (fork angle): 42.0°, Front suspension: Telescopic, Rear suspension: Rigid, Front Tire: 90/90-H21, Rear Tire: 280/35-V18, Front brakes: Single disc, Rear brakes: Single disc, Dry weight: 293.0 kg (646.0 pounds), Power/weight ratio: 0.3754 HP/kg, Overall height: 1,232 mm (48.5 inches), Overall length: 2,540 mm (100.0 inches), Overall width: 864 mm (34.0 inches), Ground clearance: 102 mm (4.0 inches), Wheelbase: 1,887 mm (74.3 inches), Fuel capacity: 18.92 liters (5.00 gallons). 1986 Pontiac Fiero GT

1986 Pontiac Fiero GT

Engine: 2.8L V6 FI
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 56,334 ( actual )

This 1986 Pontiac Fiero GT is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Pontiac Fiero was a mid-engine car with a 5-year run from 84 to 88. The first mass produced mid-engine sports car by a U.S. manufacturer. Many technologies used today were first incorporated in the little 2-seater with the most prominent being plastic panels. This first release GT model makes them highly sought after with the cars official release date being January 3rd of 1987 but were sold as 86’s with the true fans referring to them as 86.5’s. The sleek body styling really took the market by storm with twice as many Fiero’s being sold than MR2’s. This example has been well maintained all its life and with the odometer reading a little over 56300 miles this little mid-engine V6 is sure to have plenty of life left in it. The 4-speed transmission has a tight and precise shift pattern with the clutch feeling as if it has plenty of life left as well. That high revving 2.8-liter V6 engine howling right behind your head makes you feel as if this is how cars were meant to be. The responsive handling and near perfect weight distribution are all compliments of that exotic mid-engine design. The interior on this little beauty is what you would expect out of a 2-seat sports car. A pair of bucket seats that are rather comfortable and feel as if they cradle you when going around those turns. The 4-speed manual gear box is in the perfect position and reminds you that this a true unapologetic sports car. If you are looking for one of the best bang for your buck, under $15000 driver cars in the market today, this 1986 Fiero GT is the car for you. Options on this 1986 Pontiac Fiero GT include; AC, AM/FM Radio, Manual Sunroof, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Locks, Power Windows, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts and Radial Tires. 1965 Dodge Dart

1965 Dodge Dart

Engine: Inline 6
Transmission: 3 Spd Automatic 904
Mileage: 68,109 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1965 Dodge Dart GT. The Dart was released in 1960 as a replacement to the Plymouth in the standard, low priced car segment which was growing rapidly at this time. They were an instant success and represented 87% of all Dodge sales for that year. 1962 was a short-lived run of the second-generation Dart with many saying that they were more of an intermediate car than the entry level bang for your buck first generations. 1963 to 1966 would see the 3rd generation which was closer to the highly successful first gen’s. This 1965 is a great example of why so many bought these cars. Their smaller stature allowed for a slant 6 to give the car plenty of power and intrigued many buyers. The 225 slant 6 was the best of the bunch and has become one of the most popular six-cylinder engines to ever leave Detroit. This numbers matching example was gone through about 10 years ago but has only seen about 1200 miles since the work was done. The 3-speed automatic transmission shifts out nicely while being controlled through a console mounted gear selector giving the car a very sporty look. The optional 14-inch wheels had to be used on these disc brake cars for caliper clearance but look a lot better as well. The paint on the car is in good condition and shows nicely with the chrome accents helping to give the car a higher end look. The black interior with bucket seats is in very good condition and rather comfortable for a 65. If you have been thinking about getting into a mid-60’s MOPAR but don’t want to the break bank while doing it this 65 Dart GT is a great way to achieve just that. Options on this 1965 Doidge Dart GT include, AM Radio, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior, and Radial Tires. 1958 AMC Rambler

1958 AMC Rambler

Engine: Flathead Inline 6
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 40,268 ( undocumented )

Gateway classic cars is proud to present this 1958 AMC Rambler American in our Louisville Showroom. The Rambler American is an automobile manufactured by the American Motors Corporation (AMC) between 1958 and 1969. The American was the second incarnation of AMC's forerunner Nash Motors second-generation Rambler compact that was sold under the Nash and Hudson Motors marques from 1954 and 1955. The American can be classified in three distinct model year generations: 1958 to 1960, 1961 to 1963, and 1964 to 1969. During the entire length of its production, the car was sold under the Rambler brand name, and was the last Rambler named automobile marketed in the Canadian and United States markets. The compact Rambler American was most often the lowest priced car built in the U.S. It was popular for its economy in ownership, as was proven by numerous Mobil gas Economy Run championships. American Motors' designers gave the car a new grille and more open rear fender wells, giving the car a lighter appearance than that of the earlier car, which had hidden its rear wheels behind deeply skirted fenders. The original taillights were turned upside down, saving money on retooling. The car's seemingly narrow 55-inch (1,397 mm) track was not much different from the industry standard, but rather an illusion fostered by the bulbous bodywork. This stunning example has been repainted in the last year to this good looking Green and Pink exterior and the interior was done to match. This Rambler has plenty of chrome to go with the custom paint and turns heads where ever it goes. This 1958 Rambler is sporting the original flathead 6 mated to the 3-speed manual. This car runs and drives like a dream and will take you right back to 1958 if you are not careful. Options on this 1958 Rambler include: Vinyl Seats, Aluminum Alloy Wheels and Radial Tires. Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 19,291 ( actual )

The Louisville Showroom is proud to present this awesome 1977 MG MGB for sale. Engine: 5.0L V8 4BL
Transmission: 700R4
Mileage: 5,736 ( undocumented )

This awesome 1986 GMC Sierra 1500 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The GMC Sierra has long been known as Chevy’s higher end brother. The recent explosion in these mid 80’s trucks has brought out a lot of low mileage examples and this beauty is no different. With the odometer reading a mere 5650 miles, appearing to be original, this is a great example. The Autocheck does show a discrepancy but that does appear to be a simple clerical issue. The black and tan paint appear to be original with the red pinstriping separating the 2 nicely. The spray in bed liner is a great touch and was just installed a couple years ago. Underneath is really where you being to tell that this actual mileage with it being one of if not the cleanest I have seen. Under the hood is the original 305 that still starts right up without any hesitation. The OD transmission with a set of 3.42 gears the truck can easily handle highway speeds. The auxiliary fuel tank will allow you to take a road trip without having to refuel all day long. Inside the cab is where this sierra sets itself apart with a host of options that will make you feel like you’re in a luxury car. The tan is accented with black bringing the outside in and not something seen on trucks of this year. The cloth on the seat is in excellent shape and what is to be expected on such a nice truck. With the door panels being in the same condition it hard to believe this truck is 32 years old. If you have been wanting to get your hands on one of these low mileages 80’s examples that has been meticulously taken care this is the best 86 GMC Sierra out there. This Red beauty is a 3-owner car with the original owner letting the second owner take it to prom when he was a teenager. Only driven a little over 51000 miles this Vette is an extremely original and in excellent condition. The door panels were replaced and cleaned up the interior quite nicely. The seats are in unbelievable shape given the fact they over 400 years old. Pop the hood and the original, maintained engine sits perfectly in place. The car even has the original manifolds making this C3 a notable example of what these cars are. The original Th400 is backing the original small block shifting it out nicely through all 3 gears. The original rear end is still in place with the original set of gears allowing for highway cruising.
