1987 Cadillac Coupe DeVille

1987 Cadillac Coupe DeVille

Engine: 4.1L V8 F OHV
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic with Electric Overdrive
Mileage: 114,849 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is excited to list this sleek 1987 Cadillac Coupe Deville. The 6th generation Cadillac Deville has been meticulously taken care of its whole life!! This time machine is one of a kind and is fully loaded for its time. This car still has the original V8 engine with just under 115k miles. 1987 saw a new front-end design including revised cornering lamps in front and one-piece composite headlamps flanked a trapezoid-shaped grille with a bold egg-crate texture. Elongated fender caps were in back - upping the overall length by an inch and a half, but much more dramatic in appearance with new wrap-around tail lamps. This new 3-sided tail lamp style was inspired by a design used on the 1977 Deville. Unlike the new one-piece headlamps, the changes to the rear-end in 1987 had little to do with engineering, but rather, feedback from Cadillac's customer base who felt the 1985-86 car looked too short. Although the 1987 revamp was still quite like the 1986 model (so much in fact that it still used the previous year's deck lid), the design was more in-tune with the look that traditional Cadillac buyers were used to. Although this car had the original engine and interior, the paint was redone to this classic gold looking color. The body is overall in great shape and looks stunning with the newer paint. The Cadillac’s original V8 engine starts right up and idles smooth. The car has just under 115k miles on it with many service records on the Auto Check history report. The 1987 came standard with the 4-speed automatic transmission that is still original in this car and shifting seamlessly. The interior of this car is leather with power seats, windows, and mirrors. Overall great shape inside and out. This car is perfect for any drive way and has plenty of life left in it. To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1976 Cadillac Seville, please visit GatewayClassicCars.com. 1977 Cadillac Eldorado

1977 Cadillac Eldorado

Engine: 425 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 35,490 ( actual )

With only 35,490 original miles on this cool 1977 Cadillac Eldorado. She has recently been painted and repaired. With a new dash and new tires. This is a fantastic fifth generation Cadillac. Powered by a 425 V8, backed by a smooth shifting automatic. The Cadillac Eldorado is a personal luxury car that was manufactured and marketed by Cadillac from 1953 to 2002 over ten generations. The Eldorado was at or near the top of the Cadillac line during early model years. The original 1953 Eldorado convertible and the Eldorado Brougham models of 1957–1960 were the most expensive models that Cadillac offered those years, and the Eldorado was never less than second in price after the Cadillac Series 75 until 1966. Eldorados carried the Fleetwood designation from 1965 through 1972, and was a modern revival of the pre-war Cadillac V-12 and Cadillac V16 roadsters and convertibles. In 1977 the Eldorado received a new grille with a finer crosshatch pattern. The convertible was dropped (although Custom Coach of Lima, Ohio converted a few new 1977 and 1978s Eldorados into coach convertibles using salvaged parts from earlier models). The 8.2L V8 of 1970–76 gave way to a new 7L V8 with 180 HP. For the first time in 1977 all GM E-body cars were front-wheel drive, as the Riviera underwent a two-year hiatus before joining them in 1979. 1977 was Cadillac's 75th Anniversary, and would be one of the biggest years for change in the division's history. Every single standard car was redesigned, restyled, and reconfigured to meet the demands of the time. Consumers were looking for smaller, more fuel-efficient cars, but didn't want to give up any of the interior room, luxuries, or amenities to which they were accustomed. And Cadillac met those needs. When compared to the 1976 models, the new 1977 Cadillacs were eight to 12 inches shorter overall, and the new bodies were 3.5 inches narrower, but sacrificed virtually nothing when it came to interior space. The average weight reduction per car came in at more than 950 pounds. Computers were used to create designs that would reduce weight while maintaining a strong body, and new lightweight materials were substituted wherever possible. To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our Denver showroom. Call 303-872-4722 for more information.

1990 Cadillac Brougham

1990 Cadillac Brougham

Engine: 5.7L V8 FI OHV 16V
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic w/OD
Mileage: 59,042 ( undocumented )

This 1990 Cadillac Brougham is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Cadillac Brougham was released 1987 as a model all to itself to where as on previous models it was a package that could be added on. Initially the Brougham was a horse drawn carriage intended for 2-4 people but Cadillac actually used the name to designate an enclosed 5-7 passenger sedan body style in 1916 but would see a long term hiatus of 1955 the name plate after 1937. Reappearing in 1955 as a straight up show car the 4 door variant would be released in 1957 to a warm response from critics and the public alike. The 87 was no exception with the public enjoying the last rear wheel drive offering from Cadillac with the now Fleetwood being a completely different automobile. The Brougham would be a front engine rear drive one of a kind luxury mobile that would be used as a platform for many coach builders to make stretch limos. The engine in this 90 is the 350 CID which is one of GM’s best power plants ever. Extremely torquey and as reliable as they come this was the best engine to be put in these cars. Of course when pushing around a little over 2 tons, torque is a great friend to have. With the car designed for long trips the right transmission was an absolute must. Still to this day a very desirable transmission the 700R4 was the perfect choice, an overdrive 4 speed with smooth shifts yet strong enough to handle the added stress of such a heavy car. Available until 1990 it makes the 90 versions the most sought after of the bunch. Brand new bumper fillers both front and rear were just installed All 4 corners have great rubber on them with the classic real Cadillac spokes only adding to the appeal. Add to the mix a chrome grill that rivals some of the greats from the early 30's it definitely demands attention. With both rear and front bumpers as shiny as they come this Brougham is one of the cleanest examples you will find. Open the door and the leather, yes that’s right, leather interior is in very clean condition with everything except the driver seat looking as if it was never even sit in. The light grey is very attractive and looks very nice against the wood trim accents. With these still considered one of the best riding vehicles to ever be made the 80's era Cadillac's are seeing a surge in popularity and after riding in this one it's easy to see why. Options on this 1990 Cadillac Brougham Am/FM/Cassette, Cruise Control, Wire Hub Caps, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Windows, Telescopic Wheel, Tilt Wheel, Ride Control, Cloth Interior and White Wall Radial Tires. . This 1990 Cadillac Brougham for sale can be seen at our Louisville showroom, www.gatewayclassiccars.com or call 812- 294-1555 for additional information.

1985 Cadillac Eldorado

1985 Cadillac Eldorado

Engine: 4.1L V8 F OHV
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 39,888 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa Is excited to offer this sharp 1985 Cadillac Eldorado. This 2 owner car scores off the charts on the history report and has been in Florida its whole life with under 40k actual documented miles. This 1985 Cadillac Eldorado is very well maintained inside and out. The gray paint still shines in the sun like it did back in the mid 80’s. The Gray on gray with black vinyl top has always caught attention when cruising down the street and even more now that they are harder and harder to find in this condition. This car has the numbers matching original 4.1 Liter V8 and 4-speed w/electronic overdrive with low miles documented. For its time, the engine and its electronic control module (ECM) were quite sophisticated, despite having a throttle-body fuel injection system (as opposed to more advanced multiport fuel injection). Like the 6.0/368" DFI engines before it, the HT4100 used an ECM that incorporated a detailed on-board computer. Every parameter of engine performance could be displayed on the Electronic Climate Control panel while the car was being driven. The HT4100 also adopted other modern design features including replaceable cylinder sleeves, high operating temperature for emission control (210 degrees, compared to 180 in earlier engines), free circulation of coolant between the block and the heads, and bimetal construction that mounted heat-tolerant cast-iron heads onto a weight-saving aluminum block. The engine had a bore of 3.465 in (88.0 mm) and stroke of 3.307 in (84.0 mm), for a total displacement of 4.1 L (250 cu in). It produced 135 hp (101 kW) at 4400 rpm and 190 lbf·ft (260 N·m) of torque at 2000 rpm. The 1985 model year is the last year of the sought after 8th generation Eldorado before switching to a whole new styling in 1986. This square luxury car is still to this day stands out from a crowd with its stylish appearance. Options on this Eldorado include; A/C, AM/FM Radio, Cruise control, Wire wheel hub caps, power brakes and steering, power locks and windows, tilt wheel, comfortable gray cloth power adjustable seats, and radial tires. 1977 Cadillac Sedan Deville

1977 Cadillac Sedan Deville

Engine: 425 CID V8
Transmission: TH-400 Automatic
Mileage: 37,410 ( undocumented )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our Dallas Showroom is a fifth generation 1977 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. Cadillacs have been known for large engines and this one is no excuse with a 425 cubic inch V8 under the hood. A TH-400 automatic transmission transfers the power to the pavement with ease providing a nice smooth drive and ride. Cadillac celebrated its 75th anniversary in 1977 and introduced a smaller version of the DeVille for its fifth generation. A higher roofline was key to the new design, it resulted in the car being over nine inches shorter, four inches narrower, and weighing in a half ton lighter than the previous model year. This design change also resulted in a more headroom, legroom, and a larger trunk. The weight reduction was key, as it helped improve fuel economy and emissions to meet the new regulations made by the Federal Government. The copper paint on this 77’ Cadillac is believed to be original as is the copper colored leather upholstery. Both the paint and interior have aged well, as there are minimal signs of wear. The odometer reads 37,410, which is believed to be the actual mileage on the car. Options for the 1977 Cadillac Sedan DeVille include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Cruise Control, Leather Interior, Power Locks, Power Windows, Power Seats, Power Antenna, Rear Window Defogger, Tilt Wheel, Hub Caps, and White Wall Radial Tires. 1979 Cadillac Seville

1979 Cadillac Seville

Engine: 350ci
Transmission: 4 Speed Auto
Mileage: 40,741 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars proudly presents this 1979 Cadillac Seville for sale in our Atlanta showroom. This 1979 Cadillac Seville is simply gorgeous. The Seville, introduced in May of 1975 as an early 1976 model, was Cadillac's answer to the rising popularity of such European luxury imports as Mercedes-Benz and BMW. GM planners were becoming concerned that the division's once-vaunted image as "The standard of the world" was fading as the 1970s unfolded, especially among the younger generation of car buyers. Seeking to counter Cadillac's heavy slant towards the over-50 age group, the Seville was a bold attempt to both rejuvenate the make's image and win over young import buyers. This Seville has been well kept and maintained over the years. At the end of the day this Seville is sure to bring back memories to flood you mind with the wonderful times that were known as the 70’s. Options for this 1979 Cadillac Seville include; Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with Cassette Player, Sun Roof, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Locks, Power Windows, Power Mirrors, Tilt/Telescopic Steering Wheel, Seat Belts, Leather Interior and Chrome Wire Wheels wrapped Radial Tires. Just over 21,000 were final assembled in the US after the bodies were imported in specially-designed Boeing 747s.By the time this strikingly elegant car was built, Cadillac was using the 4.5L V8 engine that cranked out 200 HP. All used the four speed automatic transmissions, which is exactly what this car has. Brand new, these essentially hand-built luxury sports cars in convertible-only form retailed for $58,470! Add in the low production color on this one of Pearl White (YL3) where only 443 cars were built at an extra cost of $700 and you have one really rare convertible! The tan leather interior is like new, inviting a driver and passenger to experience the drive that one can only get from a Cadillac - "The Standard of the World".This beauty has had only 82K miles put on it in the past quarter century (not verifiable from GCC) and has had all necessary service work done at the factory-specified intervals. The current owner acquired this Caddy in 1995 and has lovingly pampered it just like the original owner did. Everything works flawlessly and as designed. He's even including a tonneau cover and a car cover for the next owner. Will that be you? 1973 Cadillac Eldorado Pace Car Replica

1973 Cadillac Eldorado Pace Car Replica

Engine: 500 CID
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 91,936 ( actual )

This meticulously maintained and original Colorado car had a complete engine rebuild just over 1,400 miles ago and the transmission rebuilt just under 10,000 miles ago! Only 566 were built in 1973. 1973 was the 5th year that Cadillac was chosen as pace car through out the years. And this was the second time ever that a front-wheel drive car was leading the pack of race cars down the start lap, the first front-wheel drive pace car was a Cord some time in the 30's. And this was up to 1973 the most powerful pace car ever! The sheer weight of the Eldorado convertible forced the Cadillac engineers to take some measures to allow the car to reach the high speeds needed. The 8.2 liter 500 CID engine was tweaked. The smog control equipment and A/C had been removed. A new crank was installed as was specially forged pistons and a dual exhaust system, even the bumpers were replaced with polished aluminum instead of steel. And there were actually a second spare car supplied by the factory, just incase that something happened to the first. Both pace cars also had hood pins to secure the hood/bonnet as well as the flag pole mounts in the rear. Interestingly enough both cars survived the ordeal and one was actually converted back to a "normal" Eldorado convertible before being sold to the public. The other of the two actual pace cars was used for numerous testing purposes at the GM/Cadillac plant, for instance for testing rims and tires for the new generation of Chevrolet Corvette that was introduced in 1984. That car is said to have been scrapped and buried somewhere at a test facilities.. Besides the two actual pace cars and the 53 track convertibles, there were a number of coupe devilles, two sedan devilles and even a Fleetwood used during the race week. To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our Denver showroom. Call 303-872-4722 for more information.
