The truck is still very easy to drive, with power brakes, power steering, and a turbo 350 automatic transmission which was recently rebuilt. 1992 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon

1992 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon

Engine: 5.7L V8 FI OHV 16V
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic w/OD
Mileage: 28,369 ( undocumented )

This low mileage 1992 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The origins of the Roadmaster name date back to 1936 when Buick added it to their entire line up. Taken out of Buicks line up the namesake would not return until 1991 with the Estate Wagon. Based on the full-size rear wheel drive B platform sales would see a huge increase selling almost 10 times as many cars VS the previous year. This 92 is a great example of these classic wagons. The paint is original with the light blue being one of the more desirable colors. The woodgrain running down the side is classic Roadmaster and still shows extremely well. Many say the reason for these being so successful was the V8 engine under that long-rounded hood. This one retains its original L05 V8 which was rated at 180HP and the precursor to the now legendary LT1. The 4l60 transmission shifts out nice and smooth with the OD giving the ability to run 70 on the highway while keeping the RPM’s down. Open the door and a very clean and original blue leather interior compliments the exterior nicely. Have a seat behind the wheel as you begin to sink in it is easy to see why many say these are the most comfortable cars they ever drove. The suspension is soft giving the car that classic floating feel. The highway of course is where these wagons shine and especially when cruising down the open road. The ones in the back seat get the real treat with the moonroof allowing for clear views of the sky above. If you have been thinking about going with a cross-over vehicle but want to be a little different this 1992 Buick Roadmaster Wagon is the perfect fit. Options on this 1992 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon include; AC, AM/FM/Cassette, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Brakes, Power Seat, Seat Belts, Power Locks, Tilt, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Hub Caps, and Radial Tires. To view this 1992 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Transmission: 3-Speed Manual
Mileage: 609 ( undocumented )

Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this awesome 1973 Jeep CJ5! This one is powered by a numbers matching 304 CID V8 engine with a 3-speed manual transmission. Outside it is yellow and inside you will find tan vinyl seats. Safety is enhanced with seat belts. Radial white letter tires wrap rally wheels. This is not a resto mod Jeep, this is a survivor. It hasn’t been updated to modern and non-original equipment. The paint is original and has stayed very nice. It only has 41,000 (mostly towed) miles on the clock! The car was originally from California, how do we know? We have the original 1973 owner’s manual supplement service policy and warranty with the original owner listed on the back! The Willys CJ-5 (after 1964 Jeep CJ-5) was influenced by new corporate owner, Kaiser, and the Korean War M38A1 Jeep. It was intended to replace the CJ-3B, but that model continued in production. The CJ-5 repeated this pattern, continuing in production for three decades while three newer models appeared. "The CJ-5 has the distinct honor of being a vehicle that was hard to kill off... equaling the longest production run of note. The 1972 model year brought significant changes to the CJ-5. American Motors began fitting their own engines, which also required changes to both body and chassis. The base Willys 4-cylinder was replaced by AMC's Torque Command straight-6 engines, giving the entry-level CJ-5 the power of the previously optional Buick V6. Standard became the 232 cu in (3.8 L), and optional the 258 cu in (4.2 L), which was standard in California. Both engines used a one-barrel Carter YF carburetor. Also in 1972, AMC's 304 cu in (5.0 L) V8 engine became available, which upgraded the power-to-weight ratio to a level comparable to a V8 muscle-car. Other drive-train changes included a new front axle - a full-floating, open-knuckle Dana 30, which was both 25 lbs lighter and reduced the turning circle by 6 ft. To accommodate the new engines, the wheelbase was stretched by 3 in (76 mm), and the fenders and hood were stretched by 5 in (127 mm), pushing the firewall two inches closer to the rear. A new box-frame was fitted, featuring six cross-members for more rigidity. Also, a larger fuel tank was mounted, moved from under the driver's seat to under the rear, between the frame rails. In 1973, a new dash was introduced, with a single gauge in the center of the dash housing the speedometer and fuel and temperature gauges. This beautiful Jeep is in our Houston showroom. Come by and see us at 1910 Cypress Station Dr #200, Houston, TX 77090. You can contact the showroom at (832)243-6220 or email the at Houston@GatewayClassicCars.com

1962 Chevrolet Biscayne

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 48,383 ( undocumented )

What better cruiser than a slammed 1962 Biscayne wagon!? This wild custom is well built and guaranteed to turn heads whenever it leaves the garage. When the Biscayne came out way back in 1958, it was built to be an affordable family vehicle that would get you from point A to point B. The year this one rolled off the assembly line however was the very first year that Chevrolet brought out the Biscayne wagon. Made with the family man in mind, nothing back in 1962 gave anyone the impression that this would ever be anything more than just that. This is not your everyday Biscayne wagon though. It has had air ride suspension put underneath it to lay it on the ground and, while at cruising height, provide a more comfortable ride. The pearlescent white paint job on it stands out among the crowd and the flames really set the whole look. Moving into the interior, the reupholstered red interior is very comfortable and has a lot of the classic style that you would expect in a 60’s car. The steering wheel screams sixties with heavy flake and looks like it was stolen off of an old bass boat. Sticking through the transmission tunnel is a Hurst shifter that is attached to the manual four speed and is hooked up behind a 350 cubic inch V8. This car was built to be shown, cruised, and thoroughly enjoyed; if you are looking for a car that you can jump in with your buddies and go to shows and the local cruise night there may not be a better choice than this radical 1962 Biscayne! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1962 Chevrolet Biscayne in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. 1969 Land Rover Santana

1969 Land Rover Santana

Engine: 2286 CC 4CYL
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 66,232 ( undocumented )

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this way cool 1969 Land Rover Santana imported from Colombia. Between the minimalistic nature of these early Land Rovers and the cool styling, this SUV is sure to turn heads. Under the hood of this utility vehicle of yesteryear is a 2.25-liter inline four cylinder engine that runs very smoothly for its age. Sending the power to the rear end is a four speed manual transmission equipped with an extremely low "tree puller" first gear that allows for easy rock crawling or activities where instant torque is needed. Overall the powertrain of this beast feels solid and is what you would expect from a 50 year old utility vehicle (not powerful, but solid and well built). Moving outward, the body of this off roading legend is finished in the original light green paint. Supporting each corner of this ride are black painted wheels wrapped in large mud tires that provide good contrast from the light body color of the vehicle. Overall the exterior of this car is in decent condition with a few scratches and dings, but nothing abnormal for the type of vehicle. Upon entering the cabin, the driver will be met with an extremely minimalistic dash and interior. This gives the vehicle a very rough and tough feel which is exactly why these old Land Rovers are sought after. The minimalistic nature of these vehicles also means that they are the polar opposite of modern Land Rovers, extremely reliable. Providing the driver with some comfort are redone seat covers that are in good condition. Overall this Land Rover is in decent condition and would make an excellent weekend toy. 2006 Dodge Magnum
S O L D

2006 Dodge Magnum

Engine: 6.1L V8
Transmission: 5 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 44,849 ( actual )

The bright silver paint on the exterior of this 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT is one of an estimated 555 produced. Combine that with the fact that this car has only 44,850 miles on the odometer and it gets even more rare. Co-engineered by Chrysler and Mercedes with the 6.1 Liter Hemi V8 boasting 425 horsepower this wagon is able to achieve a 0-60mph time of just over 5 seconds. The Hemi’s torque is being sent to the ground by an A580 five-speed automatic transmission with specially calibrated driver-selectable AutoStick (a feature that offers fully automatic or manual shifting selection). The dual exhaust has a great throaty sound that is tame enough to cruise comfortably with or turn heads when you step on the gas. One of the Magnum’s extreme characteristics is the huge 120 inches wheelbase, which gets to be even bigger than that of a Cadillac Escalade. The front spoiler was completely redesigned in order to reduce lift and improve engine cooling. Dedicated cooling intakes also get to feed via integrated ducts the oversized front-brakes in extensive decelerating episodes. The rear spoiler is also completely new. The sporty character of the Magnum SRT-8 can also be seen in its suspension set-up. Higher traveling speeds, reduced acceleration and braking times bring additional stress to the car. In order to compensate for that the car has SRT-tuned dampers, specially tailored spring rates and suspension bushings, and also large-diameter anti-sway bars. Also the ride height of the Magnum SRT-8 has been lowered with one-half inch than that of other Magnums in order to decrease the weight center. A specially tuned Electronic Stability Program (ESP) is also set to meet the Magnum SRT8’s performance handling characteristics. The Magnum SRT-8 features performance brake calipers developed by Brembo and finished in Dodge SRT red for each wheel. Every of them are equipped with four pistons for even clamping performance. The front vented rotors size 14.2 inches and those in the rear 13.8 inches. One of the flashiest elements from the 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT-8 is the new wheel and tire assembly. They are composed of five spokes 20-inch forged aluminum wheels fitted with high-performance Goodyear F1 tires with asymmetrical tread. The low profile tires size 245/45 ZR20 in the front and 255/45 ZR20 in the rear.Obviously the SRT-8 will charm looking for versatility of mixing utility and temperament. On the practical side this car is no record setter, but still offers a lot of load space. Behind the 60/40 split folding rear seats there are 27.3 cu. ft. to be accommodated with luggage. If no rear seats are required, they can fold flat and extend the load capacity to a more than honorable 71.6 cu. ft. The carpeted compartment located under the folding boot floor, the 12-volt boot located outlet and the retractable cargo cover complete the carrier-abilities of the Magnum. You can view this 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT-8 in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com.
